The Originals Relais, Chalet-Hôtel Borgo Eibn Mountain Lodge

We stayed at borgo Eibn in December for 5 days. It was absolutely wonderful! The place is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. I was travelling with my husband and my 5 months old daughter and I have to say that the entire staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating, making our vacation a relaxing one. We used the pool and it was really nice, clean and with the view on the mountains. The restaurant and food is something that cannot be described with words: seasonal fresh, biological, high quality, presented like art. Thanks Rocco, Valeria and the entire team for making our trip one to remember!

My wife, my dog and I are sitting in our room because it started to rain after our walk along Lago di Sauris. It‘s our last day at Borgo Eibn and we couldn‘t be happier with our stay! But why? Is it because of the sweet & stylish spa? Is it because of the warm and honest words of the staff - also for our puppy? Is it because of Valeria and Rocco who really want to make everything possible for a nice and relaxing stay at Borgo Eibn? Is it because of their Michelin-star worthy homemade food? Is it because of their awesome, badass inside grill and the most tender farm meat? Is it because of the panoramic view and the authentic design of the hotel? Is it because of their smart, local wine list? I think it‘s everything, mixed with the fact that everybody who works at Borgo Eibn loves what they do. Grazie Mille, Borgo Eibn.

The resort is in a idillic location, with mountain and forest views. Suites are spacious and offer all possible amenities. The spa is cozy and elegant with a beautiful pool. Breakfast is made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant serves some of the best meat you can find anywhere.

Last year I had to organise a team-building experience for my company, and was looking for a quiet place nearby. A friend of mine recommended Borgo Eibn as the perfect destination. We went there and were completely blown away by its beauty and by the outstanding experience that Rocco and his team could provide. We had time to talk about business, relax and get to know each other between stuff like a crazy bicycle ride, a perfect sauna and the best barbecue imaginable, all the while with discreet support and company of Rocco. It was unforgettable! and trust me - I’m from Trieste, so I already know all the quality that Italy and my region can offer. So... this year I wanted to have a different experience, but after looking for alternative locations and reading various reviews, I realised that the only place where I could blindly trust that everything would go perfectly was… Borgo Eibn. So we went back, and had an equally outstanding experience. Way to go, Rocco!

This is an absolutely fantastic small hotel: location above the lake and village, great rooms, spa and restaurant. The food with local ingredients was fantastic. Staff is very child friendly and the owners and brilliant hosts.
