The Outpost Casual Dine In / Take Out

Food was amazing. Got the beef tip, mash potatoes and okra. Got to say. Best okra and ranch around! Will go back!

Service was nice, the environment was nice. The food was not good to me. I got the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, Lima beans and a side of okra. The fried chicken was pretty good. The lima beans were not seasoned at all..the mac n cheese didn’t have any flavor…almost taste store bought from the frozen section..the okra okay..I decided to get the apple cobbler for dessert and it was HORRIBLE (pictured) and the way it looked didn’t help either . I prob won’t try this place again.. unfortunately.

Its a gas station. Mostly a hot bar. The food was cold, the chicken was burnt and dry. The pictures show like a buffet but its not. The tables were dirty also. Never going there again. Oh! And it cost $30 something for two.

Daniel and the team at the Outpost are doing a great job. The food is tasty and we'll prepared. There is a great selection on the meat and sides menu, and the order off the menu items are fantastic. Try the banana pudding. I watched one of the staff with with a fella who wanted a chef salad like he would get at the old location. While they did not have the turkey and ham, the staff member worked with the guy and he walked away satisfied. Now, THAT is customer service!

GARBAGE!!!!!!!! I give them negative (-) 1000 stars!!!!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 Their phone is not working! Do not order this “food”. We threw this garbage away! As a last resort we tried Ketchup, didn’t work. Hush puppies the size of a ping pong ball, misrepresentation in the photos. Phone number didn’t work! 24 years in the Army and have had MRE’s that taste 100000% better! Money wasted! DO NOT give this place your business!! Honestly worst food I have ever ”tried” to eat in 12 years!! Go to McDonalds, at least there you know what to expect… an absolute abomination to the restaurant industry!!!

Food has been getting worse and worse. Started with huge tenders a few months ago… now they’re small. Started with high quality rolls.. now super cheap rolls. Loved when they first opened but they’re on the decline.

Nothing but satisfied anytime I come in! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, The Outpost has got all the yummy options for you. Not only will your tummy thank you for their delish food- they’ve got the most kind and sweet Owners & Staff. 🥰

If you like corks and cattle or Rawls you NEED to visit this place. The service was amazing and the steak tips were by far the best steak dish I’ve had in lower Alabama. Also the beer and cocktail menu has a great variety of selections to suit anyone’s need, craft and domestic. I had a cucumber cooler that was super refreshing mixed perfectly.
