The Outpost Hotel Sentosa (Singapore, ) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Sentosa island, just off Singapore’s south coast, has been methodically transforming itself into a top-tier resort destination for decades. Leading that charge is Far East Hospitality, whose Outpost Hotel captures Sentosa’s organic-meets-futuristic design philosophy to a tee. The adults-only rooftop pool morphs into a dance party every night, including a fireworks show. Booking includes access to sister properties and amenities, all within walking distance. Rooms embrace a contemporary black-and-white palette and fun extras like a pillow mist kit." - Tablet Hotels

The pool view is beautiful, and although it’s shared with other hotels, it’s still very nice. The only downside is that the hotel lobby is accessed via the parking lot, which might be hard to find for those unfamiliar with the area. However, you can take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance to avoid any confusion. The lobby has a lovely fragrance that gives off a relaxing vibe. When we checked in, they also gave us delicious snacks, and the service was very attentive. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Universal Studios, and the transportation is very convenient with a bus station nearby. One thing to note is that most of the restaurants around the hotel close by 9:30 PM, so if you’re planning to have dinner or a late-night snack, it’s best to buy it earlier. There are only a few restaurants in the area. When booking, you can choose to add breakfast to your stay. If you don't opt for the breakfast package, you can still purchase it separately. The hotel staff informed us that it would cost an additional 20 SGD, but when we went to the top floor for breakfast, we were charged 58 SGD, which is a significant difference. We didn’t mind much and didn’t inquire further, but for those who are more particular about this, it’s advisable to double-check in advance. It’s worth noting that we selected a double room when making the reservation, but the hotel informed us that although the option was available, they couldn’t guarantee it. In the end, we were given two single beds instead. Also, we happened to check in a few days before my birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a birthday cake. When we returned to the room, there was a beautifully arranged cake and a card on the table, which made us very happy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

It’s my first time staying with the Outpost and it didn’t disappoint! Had stayed 3 other times at the Village Hotel next door and decided to try out The Outpost since it seems that kids are welcome but just not at the adult only pool on the 7th level. We were welcomed warmly at the lobby reception and check-in was a breeze. And we were given a welcome basket to choose 5 snacks of our choice! The butter cookies (coffee flavor) tasted the best and that chocolate milk by Bootstrap…yumzzz!Upon entering our sea view room, it was bright and refreshing to see the calming sea. Something different was the room decor is in black and white whilst the Village hotel has that oceanic and wood feel.Amenities are almost similar except The Outpost included a Nespresso machine and a hot water dispenser in the room which is different from the Village hotel. The Pryce teabags were a good addition to add to that luxury vibe too.Although I didn’t check out the adult only pool and still went to the Village Hotel pool instead (love that pool), overall it was a really nice stay and I hope to be back soon again!

We spent 7 wonderful nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we checked in to the day we departed, everything ran smoothly. On arrival, we were surprised with a lovely gesture—our friends had arranged a bottle of champagne, and the hotel added a beautiful cake. Such a thoughtful welcome!||The rooms were comfortable and well maintained throughout our stay, thanks to the lovely housekeeping team—Yenny, Said, and Ira—who were always friendly and attentive. We especially loved the pool, which became a daily highlight.||We dined at Sol & Ora for breakfast and also enjoyed Le Faubourg, which felt authentically French. Dinners at Native Kitchen were consistently delicious, with a great variety of food options to suit everyone. And while the kids were getting ready for dinner, we managed to sneak in a few cheeky drinks at the rooftop bar—such a great spot to unwind.||Highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run stay with great food and service

Was here on holiday for 2 days. Location and amenities are great, terrace pool and restaurants are awesome. My only problem was that the bidet was not turning on at all. Was spending my time outside anyways so didn’t really have time to schedule a repair but was also faulty in my relatives rooms.

A delightful experience from being checked in by the most friendly n helpful staff, receiving door gifts and a delicious cake upon learning it was our wedding anniversary that day. The room was compact and well designed, with sustainable facilities such as filtered water straight from tap and a hot water dispenser. Even has a mini Nespresso machine! The pool was amazingly designed. We ended up choosing to chill in the hotel during our stay instead of going out.

So firstly, it's kinda weird how this place doesn't seem to have a main entrance, or if it has, it seems to be in a car park, so coming here is a tad bit confusing. The rooms are a bit tiny, but you can open your luggage here and they are clean with a nice view. The pool areas are nice, though they close up relatively early; the rooftop pool closes at 6 pm, and the lower pool area at 8 pm. It was also a bit weird how you couldn't buy drinks to your room's tap on the lower pool area, nor could you pay with cash, it was card only.|The breakfast...well, the selection isn't that wide, some of the warm food wasn't, you know, warm and the coffee machine randomly malfunctioned and gave us lukewarm coffee. The croissants were dry. This is not a 5-star resort, but if you are looking for a 3-4 star place on Sentosa with a good location, this could be a decent option.

Had high hopes for this beautiful Sentosa hotel but after my first booking, I doubt I will ever return. Ideal only for beach lovers staycation but not for business travellers and tourist. 🤩 HIGHLIGHTS ➊ Beach & Pool Views ➋ Welcome Snacks Experience They have some of the most interesting snacks. The tofu skin chops and homemade chocolate was amazing! ➌ Shower Gel Scent ➍ Gigantic Play Pool Play pool, not a proper swimming pool.. Since there are so many kids around. 🥺 DOWNSIDES ➊ Minimalist Bedroom No work desk, difficult to do work on the small wooden side table. ➋ Horrible Paid Breakfast The problem with far east hotel is that we need to pay for breakfast yet the breakfast here is not only super limited as a ‘5 Stars Hotel’, it’s not tasty at all. It’s similar to a 2 stars hotel! Tables remain dirty and uncleared. They even tried to put a time limit on us. ➌ No Bellman/Porter ➍ Mini Gym

We have stayed here before, and this time did not disappointment fornthe 7 days. All the staff are amazing, especially the hosts and cleaning staff Cactus and team). The facilities are wonderful, especially for kids. Breakfast could do with a slight refresh, but still good.

Yelp
Stayed here for wife's birthday. The hotel is pretty new. Customer service has been top notch. For people that expect a five star stay away from home and with expectations of service, this place is it. We changed our room due to smell (mold) this place was quick to change our room. Was even offered complimentary ride to airport due to inconvenience. Thank you for your attentive service.

Yelp
We got an ocean-view room, and that was the beginning of the disappointment: it was mostly just a view of the Sentosa tram/train-station more than anything else! Definitely not worth the upgrade! The pool (the main one for the Village, not the tiny rooftop one by the bar, which was just for show and too small to actually use) seemed nice, but we actually didn't use it because whenever the rain would let up, it was overcrowded with people and no places to sit. We were hungry each morning because, after already paying $350/night for the room, we refused to spend another $100 for breakfast each morning. Unfortunately, that is your only option... there are no affordable a la carte breakfast places in the area (we ended up waiting until 7 Eleven opened, and getting some microwave food from there.) The room was clean and comfortable, though, and within walking distance to the beaches (still a bit of a walk, though.)
