After visiting the Talisker Whisky Distillery, we stumbled upon this quaint seafood spot just a two-minute drive away. Despite the heavy rain and biting wind that day, we decided to brave the weather and check it out – and we’re so glad we did!
The place is simple, with a makeshift outdoor seating area. Although it provides some shelter from the wind and rain, occasional gusts and drizzles still made their way in. However, the warm hospitality of the young host and the incredible quality of the seafood more than made up for it. We ordered every seafood option available that day and were blown away by the freshness and flavor.
What stood out the most was the price – just £1 for a langoustine! For us, traveling from London, this was unbelievable value. Sitting there, surrounded by the raw beauty of the coastline, we felt an authentic connection to the local life.
This visit left a deep impression on all of us. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend visiting – perhaps on a day with better weather so you can fully enjoy the views of the coast, the sea, and the mountains. Truly an unforgettable experience!
