The Packer Lodge

Great location and easy to find. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was overall very satisfied. The small café right next to the hostel is a great place to connect with other travelers and enjoy a good cup of coffee. One minor downside: the "gym" could use an upgrade — it’s really just a bench press, a few dumbbells, and a yoga ball. Not quite a full gym. Still, a great place to stay in Jakarta. Would definitely recommend!

This was by far my favourite accomodation during my entire month in Indonesia. The price is very reasonable and it is a good hostel. There is a hot shower (though in the private rooms doesnt stay warm for long) and the airco works great. There is a very good cafe downstairs with good coffee, drinks and food. But the staff is what sets it apart. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They also organise multiple tours, we took a food tour from one of the owners and not only did we see a lot, he was also really fun to talk with and we learnt a ton. We also did the Baduy tour which was amazing. Really recommend

We stayed in the family room for 4. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom was HUGE. You can literally take a nap on the sink counter. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I wish i could leave a 5 star rating, but I had an issue with their washing detergent 🥲 Everything from the towels to bedsheet to the blankie smelled so stronged it was unbearably nauseating for me. If that isn't an issue for you, definitely a great place to stay.

I got a private room as it was so cheap. Comfy bed, AC and ensuite! I would suggest a proper duvet/bedding rather than a blanket. Decent location close to China town & old town. So handy to have a coffee shop connected to the hostel, perfect for the morning!! Not very busy or sociable but that’s not the hostels fault!

Yeah no complaints, good restruant around the corner. Very helpful staff :) Felt like we were in the authentic Jakarta area

Nice hostel. Clean rooms, working AC. There is a caffee on the ground floor where you can also have a bite to eat. Staff is nice and friendly.

This hostel is such good value! Booked a private room for my partner and I, the room was clean and had great AC! Bathrooms are all clean and well maintained. The atmosphere here was really nice too, was able to hang and chat with a friend I caught up with in Jakarta and also had a few good chats with others staying at the hostel. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay somewhere on a budget and I would definitely return myself! The staff are very friendly and helpful, they have a laundry service which is super convenient too!

The Packer Lodge - Amazing hostel to scape the chaos and hot Jakarta. The location is not the best, but the facilities of this hostel are amazing, the common areas are great for socialising or chilling watching movies, the restaurant is great and they have a gym that you can use for a quick workout
