Awful attitude from the receptionist woman 4.11. No pleasant customer service. Can't recommend. Also bunch of men hanging outside of the hostel didn't feel comfortable. Edit (since the owner responded): I was gonna be a guest but you were gonna charge me more than Hostelworld would've which makes no sense since Hostelworld takes commission. Everywhere else it's possible to make a reservation for a better price when booking directly from the hostel itself rather than using third parties. The receptionist also tried to lie to me because after I showed the room price from my phone screen, she typed something on the computer and after that she tried to show me a "new room price" which was higher than the one I have on my screen. Go somewhere else - there's plenty of nice hostels in Jakarta with lovely staff! My review is just as valid as anybody elses would be since I visited your hostel and this is the image you gave me. Is this how you talk to everyone who's trying to book a room from you? The receptionist was extremely rude and I have never had that issue anywhere else in Indonesia. I'm not surprised when I saw other reviews mentioning her as well. Avoid this place!

I only stayed one night so I won't be able to say much about the atmosphere. Yet, short my stay there met all my expectations: the room (single ensuite) was not that small (compared to the pictures), clean and quiet. There is also a small cafe downstairs which is perfect and the neighborhood is pretty nice for walk.

Great location and easy to find. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was overall very satisfied. The small café right next to the hostel is a great place to connect with other travelers and enjoy a good cup of coffee. One minor downside: the "gym" could use an upgrade — it’s really just a bench press, a few dumbbells, and a yoga ball. Not quite a full gym. Still, a great place to stay in Jakarta. Would definitely recommend!

Would like to talk about the rooms but we didn’t get the chance to. We booked 2 nights there but when we arrived, they asked for our physical passports that we didn’t have because we are living in Yogyakarta and not carrying them around. We showed our KITAS, but they were really unwilling to find a solution and about as friendly as a prison door. We finally had to cancel the booking and didn’t get a refund, which is quite unfair.

We stayed in the family room for 4. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom was HUGE. You can literally take a nap on the sink counter. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I wish i could leave a 5 star rating, but I had an issue with their washing detergent 🥲 Everything from the towels to bedsheet to the blankie smelled so stronged it was unbearably nauseating for me. If that isn't an issue for you, definitely a great place to stay.

It is clean and comfortable, but please check the gaps in the walls in the bed sharing room. There are lots of bed bugs. My neck was bitten and covered in bumps.

This was by far my favourite accomodation during my entire month in Indonesia. The price is very reasonable and it is a good hostel. There is a hot shower (though in the private rooms doesnt stay warm for long) and the airco works great. There is a very good cafe downstairs with good coffee, drinks and food. But the staff is what sets it apart. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They also organise multiple tours, we took a food tour from one of the owners and not only did we see a lot, he was also really fun to talk with and we learnt a ton. We also did the Baduy tour which was amazing. Really recommend

Yeah no complaints, good restruant around the corner. Very helpful staff :) Felt like we were in the authentic Jakarta area
