The Pad Thai Shop

Absolutely delicious food. They were out of beef so I opted for chicken (not my favourite protein) but I was not disappointed. Wonderful staff, yummy smoothies and a broth that makes you smile. Stop here, avoid the main strip and get some true local family Thai food. Kampow, chicken feet, all the goodies. Also the cheapest "add fried egg" I've seen in Thailand to date, 10baht. Incredibly grateful.

Had our chance to try this famous store today, and since it’s located at the main road you might need to park your bike/car by the road side if you came with own transport. Once arrived we ordered Prawn Pad Thai, Non spicy fried rice, Chicken Kra Pow and Beef Kra Pow 💥 (local/Thai spicy) and also Topped All Soup with no rice/noodle. Pad Thai is balance with the expected flavour and if you find it’s not spicy enough, they also provided you all the chilli 🌶️ condiments at each table. Fried rice tastes good, we can taste the ‘char’ and found that find it’s comforting. Chicken Kra Pow and Beef Kra Pow also the star of this store, for me personally I also added not one but two sunny side up 🍳 to accompany my Beef Kra Pow 💥 We definitely will be back given the fact food and the crew and owner of this store were really friendly+helpful explaining to us which chilli 🌶️ condiments should be paired with food we ordered. Also we notice this store is famous with locals, when we visit earlier today perhaps only 20% is foreigners

Picture speaks a thousand words…. 2 of us demolished 5 bowls in a sitting. Had their beef noodles, kra pow and pad thai (ranked it in order as well). Beef noodles was really good, the broth and it has a general portion of meat. Decided to last minute get a krapow because we saw our bolt driver having it and…. decided to follow the local. Bam, did not even regret!!!!! Pad thai was good however the other dishes were better. Coconut served was really cold and perfect for the hot weather. Definitely thinking of this and would go back if I have the chance to! Also, the staffs are very nice people and very welcoming too! Love their service!

A great find. A short walk out of Kata. Maybe 10 minutes. A proper Thai restaurant. Old school. So busy and not surprised. The food is excellent. Service is quick. And the prices are what you would expect in a local restaurant. Very cheap. Highly recommended.

Food was great at an amazing price. Beef soup without the noodles is also available and I would greatly recommend getting a bowl to share for the table! Filled with ingredients with and a deep herbal soup. Of course the pad thai was amazing as well with homemade chilli and crushed peanuts available. Staff was friendly and took the time to explain to us the various condiments and the dishes they should be paired with.

Best pad Thai indeed. Shopkeepers were hyper vigilant to each customers needs. Lots of seasonings and chilli to go with the food. Will be back if I return to Phuket. Great vibes if you can deal with the heat.

This spot blew me away! The Pad Thai was honestly the best I’ve had, and the beef Pad Krapow was delicious too. Prices are cheap and the service is great!

Great dishes and good value! Authentic food and very delicious! One of the best noodle soups in Phuket!
