"Though Barcelona is hardly the epicenter of paella (that would be to the south, in Valencia), this hands-on culinary workshop/dining experience offers a fine introduction to what’s arguably Spain’s most famous dish. Set in an appealingly hip Raval-area space featuring soaring ceilings, exposed brick walls, and industrial lighting, the class starts with a welcome glass of cava along with a brief overview of paella from founder Alex Betolaz and chef Alex Villar. Don an apron at your cooking station, but don’t expect anything too labor-intensive; ingredients are, for the most part, already prepared, though you will do a bit of chopping, pouring, and stirring. (You can book your paella preferences ahead of time, and vegetarian options are available.) Then you’ll gather around a long wood table and sample various Catalan specialties along with your paella (and there’s usually plenty of sharing going on). Choose from three different paella-making experiences, starting at €50/per person for two courses and going up to €85 for multiple courses plus unlimited wine."

What a wonderful cooking class experience! From the moment we walked in, The Paella Club swept us off our feet and into the heart of Spain. It was entertaining, educational, and delicious—and let’s not forget, your wine glass is never empty (a true Spanish miracle!). My family and I had the joy of cooking and tasting five different paellas, each one bursting with flavor and soul. We were each assigned a paella to prepare, then sat down family-style to share in the full spread—paired with delicious treats like gazpacho, pan con tomate, and yes… more wine. It wasn’t just a cooking class—it was a celebration of food, culture, and connection. The energy of the hosts, the music, the laughter—it all made for such a vibrant and unforgettable evening. If you’re in Barcelona and want to do something truly special, this is it. I can’t recommend The Paella Club enough. ¡Olé!

An unforgettable experience at Paella Club in Barcelona! Our team had an absolutely amazing time. From start to finish, the service was exceptional and the hosts were so warm, fun, and welcoming. The atmosphere was vibrant, relaxed, and full of laughter—just perfect for a team activity. The cooking instructions were super clear and easy to follow, and every single one of us ended up with a delicious paella we were proud of. The whole experience was both fun and informative—truly top-tier. We’ll definitely be back, and we’re already recommending it to friends and colleagues. Thank you for such a memorable evening! - London Team

One of our top memories in Barcelona! My husband was a little hesitant at the idea of a cooking class but agreed to go because of my enthusiasm. We both had a fantastic time!! The place itself is very cool and the people there couldn't have been more fun and knowledgeable, making the night both a learning experience as well as just a cool night out. They made the whole experience a great time (the wine helped too)! There was about 16 people there total so we got to make 4 different kinds of paella, all of which were delicious and they sent us the recipes via email to try again at home. I'd highly recommend!!

Google
Wow, wow, wow! This class exceeded our expectations! 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to Barcelona. Kevin, Valentina, and the other gentleman (sorry I didn’t get his name) were amazing hosts. The class is lively, entertaining, and food is amazing! #1 rule- TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THE PAELLA CLUB!

My mother, sister and niece were in Barcelona from may 8-13 2025. We took the paella cooking class on Sunday, May 12th at 1:30. Kevin and his crew were amazing. It was the best cooking class I have ever taken. They were fun, engaging and everything was delicious! We met the nicest people and I will truly go back over and over again.

Google
Really fun class there is unlimited cava which is nice. I don’t really drink and it was hard to get nonalcoholic options. I wish there was a way to select the paella you’d be making, that was disappointing. At the end we were all able to try them and said they would be rotating but the staff was preoccupied with setting up the next class so people ate all of the paella without the other half of the table being able to try it which was really frustrating. if we had chose which paella we made and eaten the one we made that would have been avoided.

Google
We had a fabulous evening of drinking and dining. Learned a bunch about making paella and Spanish food culture. The staff was great, funny, and super friendly and made it a truly special evening for us. No better way to enjoy a meal than making it and sharing it with new and old friends. The group made 4 different paella’s and we all had a chance to taste each one. Cava and regional wine was free flowing. I highly recommend this club as a must do while in Barcelona.

I came with a group of 5 from the US to Barcelona for my bachelorette party, and this class was a highlight of our trip! Alex was so funny and the chef came around and gave great tips as we were cooking. We made an incredible artichoke paella that I cannot stop thinking about! What I really loved about the experience was dancing, laughing and having so much fun with complete strangers. It was so fun to bond over the experience of cooking and eating. Definitely make this experience a part of your trip!

Yelp
If you want a fun, informational, and DELICIOUS way to eat paella, this is it!! What a blast. Our group was made up of 8 sets of partners making different types of paella. You can have little cooking experience or chef status and everyone will be successful! There are 3 chefs that help guide us throughout, giving us cooking tips, paella history, and fun energy!! We were greeted with a glass of Cava ( Spanish champagne) and refills throughout our cooking adventure They had great music playing to keep the fun energy going. After our paellas were finished we all sat and ate all the paellas family style. We made chicken, seafood, and mushroom paellas. They were all so good!! If you want great paella, fun, and to meet new people I highly recommend going to The Paella Club!!!

Yelp
Fun place to learn a little about the food in the region, as well as cooking paella. Kevin and Alejandra were great host, and instructors. Paella was great, especially liked the veggie and mushroom variety. Met some nice couples to share dinner with also.

Yelp
The visit to the Club was one of the top two highlights of my trip to Barcelona. It was a wonderfully engaging experience where 15 strangers felt like family and friends as we dined on our collective paella creations at the end of the cooking class. Our two chef teachers were lively and great instructors as they walked us through the entire experience, from frying the vegetables, to infusing the spices, meats and rices and cooking up a masterpiece (some may disagree but I'll pat my wife and I on the back for our collective pork paella creation). Each group of two made a different variation from seafood to vegetable to chicken, and in the end we sampled them all family dining style. They kept the music and cava going and pouring all night which enhanced the experience immensely. This is a must-do experience in Barcelona! It would have easily been 5-stars but for the fact that it was cold outside and instead of letting us in to sit in the waiting area as they prepped the stations for our experience, they made us wait outside by the door until the very minute the experience was scheduled to begin. We arrived 20 minutes early and within 10 minutes there were 6 people total shivering by the glass doors. They saw but didn't acknowledge us until they were ready to open the doors, check us in, and then allow us to sit in the waiting area until the others signed up arrived. The couple who waited with us were equally disappointed. I was prepared to give a very negative review but they made the experience so wonderful that by the end I was debating if it was 5 or 4 star worthy. So fair warning, do not arrive early unless you are willing and ready to wait in a narrow and slightly scary (after dark) alley until time to begin!

Yelp
Beyond the Paella Pan: A Culinary Journey with The Paella Club In the realm of culinary experiences, The Paella Club stands apart as a beacon of authenticity and camaraderie. Unlike the countless restaurants and cooking classes that merely serve or teach the art of paella, this trio of passionate chefs - Alex, Fernando, and Ethan - has crafted an experience that transcends the ordinary. Their home, transformed into an intimate culinary haven, welcomes guests with open arms and warm smiles. The moment you step inside, a sense of anticipation fills the air, promising an evening of culinary delights and newfound connections. As the evening unfolds, Alex, Fernando, and Ethan effortlessly guide guests through the intricacies of paella preparation. Their passion for this traditional Spanish dish is infectious, igniting a spark of enthusiasm within every participant. But the Paella Club is more than just a cooking class; it's an immersive journey into the heart of Spanish cuisine. The chefs weave tales of paella's rich history and cultural significance, transporting guests to the sun-drenched fields of Spain. As the aroma of saffron and fresh seafood fills the air, laughter, and convivial conversation mingle with the rhythmic clanging of pans. The experience is truly transformative, fostering a sense of community and shared passion for food. By the time the paella is ready to be devoured, guests are no longer mere participants but newfound friends, united by a shared culinary adventure. The flavors explode on the palate, a testament to the chefs' expertise and the fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Leaving The Paella Club is like bidding farewell to a cherished family gathering. Hearts are full, bellies are satisfied, and minds are brimming with newfound culinary knowledge. The trio's infectious passion for paella has not only taught guests how to prepare this beloved dish but has also instilled a deep appreciation for the cultural significance and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones.

Yelp
Took a cooking class here & 100% was the highlight of the trip. Not only was the team fantastic chefs, but they had energy and made it one large party. This is a must.

Yelp
I cannot recommend this experience enough! my family and I were in town for a cruise, and had an extra day before departure. I decided it would be fun to do a cooking class - and wow what an amazing time we had. I chose this class over other ones because it was two people to a paella plan, and other ones looks like you just watched the chef cook. The class was super interactive and the instructors are great, walk you through absolutely everything you need to know to make paella! Plus - there's bottomless wine so how can you not have a great time. After you finish making the paella, you sit down at the table with all your classmates and get to eat the meal you just made plus a few additional courses the chefs prepared in advance. Absolutely amazing experience, highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a fun way to fill your night

Yelp
When in Barcelona EAT PAELLA DUH! This amazing cooking classing provided us with the history and art of making paella. There were about 18 people in the class which meant various dishes were made such as veggie paella, seafood paella, chicken paella and a beef paella. YUM! During the cooking class you can have a glass of wine, listen to music and enjoy great company while cooking an amazing dish. Then you get to eat dinner with everyone. It was such a great way to close out my Christmas trip in Barcelona. Don't forget if you enjoyed the cooking class, you would enjoy the mixology class as well.

Yelp
This was absolutely one of the highlights of my Barcelona trip. I saw a lot of reviews online for this place and wanted to check it out. Initially I booked in advanced for a Thursday class but about a week prior to arrival they reached out and mentioned it was closed for a private event and asked was another day suitable for me or they would refund my tickets . After moving around some items I opted for Saturday my legit birthday and it was amazing . The place was sooo nice and welcoming unlimited cava and friendly staff. I was able to do eat all different types of fresh paella made in the class . I met several people from all over and was able to mingle and make one of my favorite dishes . Everything was super authentic and fresh . Definitely worth the money and trip . If ever local do give them a try 5 thumbs up for certain

Yelp
This was our first time in Barcelona. We did all the tourist things from La Familia Sangada to Park Guell to Bogatell Beach to the Arc Triomf. However, hands down, our favorite thing that we did while visiting was The Paella Club. My wife, son and I were three of the 13 in the class and it was a grand adventure in culinary delights. From the moment you walked in you felt welcome and engaged. Ethan and all the staff were great. The Cava was excellent, the wine superb but the Paella was unforgettable. We would have done it all again had we the time. Thank you again for an event we will never forget. Dave

Yelp
Rule #1 WE TALK ABOUT THE PAELLA CLUB!!! Located in Barcelona, Spain- this gem is a must do if you're visiting or thinking about visiting Barcelona. There are many people selling similar tours but they don't have the charm, the Charisma nor the vibe you'll get at The Paella Club Once you walk in you're greeted with big smiles and a chilled glass of Cava- bottomless Cava! Alejandro, Fernando & Maria are the terrific trio who will lead you though the night. You're paired off in 2 and will all make various Paellas The class was VERY easy to follow, fun and very educational. I'm big on hygiene- they ensure you wash your hands first then grab an apron. At the end of the cooking you will get to sit down and dine as a family with your new friends all while sipping bottomless Cava & other wines. The Gazpacho was AMAZING, the tomato bread was delicious & the star of the night --the Paellas were all mouth watering good! Shockingly my favorite was the vegetable paella. My group also made traditional paella, squid ink paella, chicken paella, pork paella & seafood paella After dinner you'll have the opportunity to add your name on the email list to receive all the recipes! Would definitely retake this class when visiting Barcelona 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yelp
We booked our trip to Spain for our 20th wedding anniversary. Very good friends of ours visited last summer and highly recommended The Paella Club, so when we booked our trip, we made sure to book this experience. We stayed about 20 minutes away (by car) and wanted to arrive early, so we tried to get a cab about an hour before our scheduled time. To our shock and dismay, no cabs would take us! There was a strike that closed down the City center. The strike consisted of people protesting against tourists! We immediately contacted the Paella Club, and were again shocked when they said there was nothing they could do for us. They could not rebook us for the next night as it was sold out and they would not refund our €230!! I thoroughly explained the situation, but they simply didn't care and referred me to their cancellation policy, no exceptions. I am confident that many others are in the same position we are in if they had reservations for the night of July 6th. This is terrible customer service and entirely unfair. This is not how you run a successful business. Perhaps they agree with the protestors and want less tourism!

Yelp
My wife and I kicked off a weekend in Barcelona with a class at the Paella Club with John and Fernando, and you guys... this is easily one of our top recommendations in Barcelona. We had a PHENOMENAL time! The guys kept the humor and the alcohol flowing while giving simple, clear, and in-depth instructions on each step of cooking paella. You and your classmates make one of up to 6 paellas (2 to a pan) but you'll get to try them all. You'll have made the main courses in a 5-course meal, all from local ingredients and paired with endless cava and local wines. We made some great friends and some great paella! In fact, half the class came back again the next night for a cocktail course from John, where we learned to make 3 cocktails of his own creation that were inspired by the history and culture of Catalunya, and again used distinctive local ingredients. We had a great time full of laughter, alcohol, and great windows into both local and world alcohol history and culture--and a little chemistry. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! And remember: don't burn your paella.

Yelp
During our trip to Barcelona, we had the opportunity to join Alex at his Paella Club. Alex's inviting energy started at the door, and didn't stop until the event ended. It was an amazing experience with good food, and strangers who became friends over the course of three hours. If you are ever in Barcelona for a period of time, please sign-up for one of Alex's cooking experiences. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We had the most amazing time at The Paella Club. Our son is studying here and we wanted a family experience. We all love to cook and of course, drink Cava! Ethan, Mark, and Melvin are rockstars. They are truly authentic in their excitement, humble in their level experience (it's a lot!) and more of all FUN! we danced, sang, ate and drink. Made friends and memories. My son actually cooked solo as we were a group of 3 and he nailed it! Best paella of the night. You will be asked about allergies because as a group, we made several different versions of Paella (including vegetarian-- so don't be shy!). The location is in the hippest section of the Gothic quarter... of course, enjoy and definitely try the Paella Club!!! We are going back for their Cocktail making class.

Yelp
The Paella Club was an absolute blast. My fiancé & I first time ever taking a cooking class and no better way to do it overseas in a completely different country. The experience from start to finish was great. The host provided great tips on cooking, was able to try local wines/beers, and when food was completed all groups were able to share the Paella they made. It was great to meet so many people across the world and enjoy dinner with them. 10/10, you have to add this dinner / experience to your vacation in Barcelona, Spain!
google avatar

Yelp
This was one of the BEST experiences we had in Barcelona! We had such a fun class with John and Mark and loved learning more about actually cooking paella, the different steps and of course, how they are sourcing their ingredients via local vendors and farms throughout Spain. Added bonus - NOT having to clean the dishes! John made sure that our glasses of cava were always topped off and I can only imagine how much more fun the mixology class would be (wish our trip was longer so we could have experienced this!). We especially enjoyed taking this class with our friends but also loved meeting all the other attendees from around the world. I enjoyed the fact that even though we cooked a specific type of paella (veggies with white wine), we still got to try ALL of the varieties cooked (surprisingly, my favorite was the veggies with red wine, made all the difference!). If you're looking for something to top off your trip in Barcelona, please make sure to check this place out. Salud!

Yelp
One of the best experiences we had while in Barcelona! Highly recommend this interactive experience for everyone who wants a change of pace from the typical sightseeing. They give you unlimited Cava while you learn to cook paella in a group setting. They give you history, play music, and make the whole process carefree and fun! At the end you get to enjoy all of the different paellas cooked (we got to try 9!) as well as have a dessert and a few appetizers. Well worth giving this experience a try during your trip to Spain!

Yelp
Phenomenal experience with Alex and the crew! The energy Alex had made this an unforgettable night. He was able to unite total strangers with his love for paella. Wine was poured endlessly - met some great people and got to try 4 different types of paella. (Veggie with Truffle Oil, Classic Seafood, Squid ink seafood and pork) They taught me so many cooking tips I'll be incorporating from now on. Paella was absolutely delicious! Super fun atmosphere and very informational. Highly recommend if you have time in Barcelona. Ended up going out with some folks from the dinner after bonding from this cooking class.

Yelp
If you visit Barcelona and you don't go here, you have made a mistake! The Paella Club was everything I needed that I didn't know I needed. During the class we learned how to make paella and each station had a different type of paella. The instructors were really interactive and helpful. And they made sure we stayed full on cava wine the entire time. At the end of the cooking experience, we were able to try the different paellas after an appetizer and before a dessert. Incredible experience!

Yelp
Me and four friends came to the paella club during our trip to Barcelona and had booked through trip advisor. Definitely book in advance to secure your spot! When you arrive you're warmly greeted and given a glass of cava (with complimentary wine throughout the night), and you mingle with the other guests cooking with you. We were in a full dinner class with 16 people total. They pair you off to cook over the individual burners, and you make an assortment of different paellas (but you get to eat them all afterwards!). My friends and I absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. Alex did a great job explaining the history of paella, helping us cook ours, and making it fun and entertaining throughout the experience. Once they're all cooked you sit down at a long table in the back and get to continue mingling with everyone, eat a few appetizers, your paella, and a dessert they prepare! At the end of the class they also send you all of the recipes so you can bring your paella knowledge back home to your friends. 10/10 recommend The Paella Club for a fun experience in BCN!

Yelp
My husband and I had an amazing time with Alex and the team at The Paella Club. So much fun! I absolutely loved learning how to make this traditional dish and they made the process so extremely fun! I would recommend this to everyone!! I hope we get to go back one day!

Yelp
I can not say enough good things about paella club, and it's incredibly attentive staff. First impression I had was a welcoming and friendly greeting from Mark upon our ( three of us ) arrival. Getting started was straight forward. From the stovetop we learned a little history as cooking began. Fernando has a talent to explain as he supervised all of us. Excellent! This is my first experience with a cooking school, and I'm so pleased, I want to bring my family back for the next lesson. All the preparations are done for you, and you jump right into the good part; cooking. We did the 2.5 hours class, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Don't just go to dinner, go to the Paella club, and learn a little, cook a little, and enjoy a lot.

Yelp
The Paella Club is a MUST DO when in Barcelona! It's not just a cook-and-eat type of class - Alex and his team take the time to really explain where the ingredients are from (everything is locally sourced), why we cook things a certain way, and allow us to experience not only the paella our group cooks, but also the paellas other groups are cooking too. My husband and I have never eaten or cooked paella before so we were a bit nervous, but this team is so knowledgeable and passionate they made it so easy, so delicious, and SO FUN! From the moment you step inside, you've got a glass of cava in hand that is literally never empty. There's music playing and the vibe is so incredible, you can't help but smile and laugh the entire class. This has been the highlight of our trip, and if we ever find ourselves in Barcelona again the first thing we will be doing is booking another class here!
google avatar

Melissa E.

Yelp
I highly recommend The Paella Club! We had an unforgettable night with Alex, Maria Laura, and Mark. I can say with certainty that everyone had a memorable experience. By the end of the night, we exchanged numbers, hugs, tears, and laughter. The paella was excellent, the wine was endless, and the staff became like our best friends. I will always go back and tell everyone!

Yelp
Last night I had the pleasure of creating a culinary masterpiece with the guidance of the team at The Paella Club! I booked directly on their website. Very easy! They took us through the history of the ingredients while the unlimited Cava, Wine, and Sodas flowed. But most importantly we ended the evening with appetizers, our lovely Paella & dessert! Worth every penny & a must do while in Barcelona. Very close to Las Ramblas & the main square where the tour buses drop off.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things here. I've made several paellas, and I learned a LOT. The food was great, the drinks flowed all night, and everything was on point. The whole team was great, Ethan and Fernando took great care of us. We left with several items that were VERY reasonably priced for gifts (and to keep). We're already planning many happy returns!

Sarah L.

Yelp
Loved this class. Alex's energy is infections. We loved the atmosphere and it was a great evening of entertainment, food, social time and of course cooking... I highly recommend this class if you are a foodie or if you just want to be entertained for the evening. These are pros and do it right!

Ron S.

Yelp
We could not ask for a better experience!!! My wife and I love to cook so she booked The Paella Club as a surprise for me. As soon as we walked in we received a warm welcome for the beautiful hostess who handed us champagne and made us feel at home. From then on we drank, laughed, danced, drank, cooked, drank some more, learned some cooking gems then sat down and enjoyed a great meal with engaging conversations. Cannot say enough about what an incredible experience it was. Thank you Chef and your whole team!! See you next year!! Amor Mucho....The Scotts!!!

Heather B.

Yelp
SUCH a wonderful and fun experience! John and his team were energetic, informative, and thoughtful hosts. Our group of 7 joined with others from across the globe to make paella and to sit and share our lives and our cultures. We had so much fun that we signed up to do the cocktail class the next night! Once again, John outdid himself and led us through making some creative, beautiful, and delicious cocktails as well as confusing us with his bar tricks that we are still talking about. I highly recommend and it was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona!

Mark B.

Yelp
Place is great. Lovely people lovely wine and delicious food you help make yourself. Can't recommend strongly enough.

Yelp
was super excited for our experience at the paella club have been looking forward to it for weeks, BUT due to a 10 hour America Airline delay we missed our cooking class. The WORST customer service ever. When I asked to change time -get another time slot- it was No, No refunds!

Yelp
My wife and I went for the 2.5 hour session at 5pm in October 2021. Beautiful facilities, wonderful host, good food, and just an overall great time. You also get to meet people from different countries and different walks of life while traveling in a new country. It's great value for the entire experience and I highly recommend it.

Sanford E.

Yelp
During our stay in Barcelona, we booked a paella cooking experience for my wife and I plus one other couple who were traveling with us. When we arrived a bit early, John greeted us at the door with his friendly and humorous demeanor. We were given a glass of wine, and asked to introduce ourselves to some of the other people who would be joining us on this experience. It was fantastic to meet couples from England, Australia, and other parts of the United States. Everyone was in a joyous mood, ready to tackle our cooking experience. Of course, the entire experience would not have been so much fun without the able and competent teaching provided by each of the three gentleman leading our experience. The occasion was filled with loads of humor, effective teaching, wine, and socializing with new friends. I cannot say enough about the effective presentation of each stage of the experience by our lead guide John. He and his colleagues (Melvin and Fernando) clearly enjoy their jobs and it shows. Once we sat down to consume the numerous paellas produced by each group of two people, we engaged in more socializing, humor, and discussion. Throughout the dinner, each host made sure we had an enjoyable and effective experience. Thanks much for making my evening memorable. If you come to Barcelona, be sure to go to The Paella Club - you will leave the experience feeling great (of course the wine helps), laughing, and enjoying your new numerous friends. These gentleman are an incredible asset to this business and I certainly hope the owners of this company realize that these colleagues are the source of their suceess!

Yelp
One of the best experiences of our trip to Barcelona! Alex is a welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun host. His high energy style and skill in the kitchen makes it easy to connect with the other students while creating the best paella you have ever tasted! This is also a retail store where you can purchase great items for making your own paella once you get home. You will not regret signing up for a class with the Paella club.

Yelp
My wife found The Paella Club online as she was planning our trip to Spain a few months ago. As I was excited for the class, it ended up being better than I could've imagined. Alex is a super host entertainer keeping the vibe light and encouraging a great time while Lucia was extremely informative (with a very impressive culinary resume) and made cooking paella very simple and enjoyable. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with open arms and glasses of Cava. There were 12 in our group that made 6 different Paella recipes that all turned out AMAZING. After finishing up, we all got to sit down and enjoy a wonderful meal with everyone in our class starting with Pan de Tomate, then our Paellas, then a beautifully crafted dessert that Lucia put together for us that included chocolate mousse, toasted nuts and finished with sea salt and olive oil. Another thing that I love about The Paella Club is that they explain where most of the main ingredients come from and why it's so important to utilize local farmers for best ingredients. I would recommend this to anyone, even if you don't like to cook, as Alex and Lucia make this experience a ton of fun and something I will remember for the rest of my life. I have a couple of phenomenal paella recipes to back it up!

Yelp
Great way to spend time in Barcelona, Alex and his team are awesome. Great family event if you have older kids 16+ while on vacation. Very nice team at The Paella Club

Yelp
We went for a vacation in July. Amazing time! We learned how to make Paella, and enjoyed ourselves. I did a YouTube video review tour. Please check it out! https://youtu.be/kt6jhF6645w

Yelp
I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We went there for a paella class a week ago and loved it so we booked a mixology class. We were told we could leave our bags on the couch where we were mixing cocktails. The class was fine until every single one of our credit and debit cards was stolen from the venue. We called the police who tried to check the security cameras but they were not functional. I had all of my money (about 300$) stolen as well as my backpack. When I went to ask the staff to help us they only cared about saving their own reputation and refused to accept any responsibility. They shut the doors in our face and refused to acknowledge anything was happening. DO NOT GO HERE.

Yelp
This was my second time in Barcelona, and the Paella club was the highlight of my trip! My partner and I attended the 4 course class and had a wonderful time learning from Alex and Lucia. The class is very enjoyable, relaxed, and easy to follow along with regardless of your culinary experience. The finished product was fantastic. We all got to sample each other's dishes and other delicious appetizers and desserts from Alex and Lucia. We made great connections with the others in the class and all ended up getting drinks together afterwards! I'm so glad we took this course and will be highly recommending it to any friends in Barcelona !

Yelp
I had such an amazing time cooking with these guys! They offered a great service as soon as we walked in the door by greeting us and pouring Cava. It was flowing all night and we had the chance to meet new people from all over and hear their stories. The chefs were absolutely charming and professional and taught me a thing or two about spices and cooking. 100% recommend this experience if you are in Barcelona. By far the best experience I had.

Yelp
Our evening at The Paella Club was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona! This cooking class was more akin to going over to a close friends house to cook together with their other group of friends that you are meeting for the first time.....by the end of the night, you are all friends! Moreover, we all learned the paella basics and did not destroy the product too badly. A must attend event when visiting Barcelona!

Yelp
This was a great night out with existing friends, and a good opportunity to meet new ones. The whole team is welcoming, supportive, funny, and high-energy and I learned a lot in just a few hours. Plus I got all the recipes to take home and make again later! These guys keep the Cava and conversation flowing. After a week touring Spain, I think that my night at the Paella Club was the best meal and the most fun I had.

Yelp
So much fun and delicious! Brought my two teen daughters here while in Barcelona. If you know teenagers, you know they can be hard to impress. Well, this class was fun for everyone! We all had a great time learning the secrets of Paella and then eating all the delicious varieties. Highly recommend!
