We attended a food tasting tonight for my son’s upcoming wedding and may I just say what a phenomenal experience we had! From the appetizers to the side dishes and main courses we were absolutely blown away! The owner, Brad along with Chef Carlos and staff did an amazing job and to see the passion Chef has for his food was refreshing. Thank you so much and we look forward to December!

Google
Clean restaurant with Great food and sooo many Gluten-free items. Gluten-free labeled on the menu. The tiger bacon wrapped shrimp are amazing! They have corn bread basket at the table. It would be nice with sooo many Gluten-free delicious options if they had some sort of bread for us as well. Only thing I think that would really be nice and inclusive. Great food and pizza. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience here. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. The service was quick and kind - our server, Catherine was attentive and friendly. The owner, introduced himself and it was apparent he truly cares about creating an inviting and tasty experience! I had the Nashville hottie on a waffle and it was 10/10. Can’t wait to come back during our next time in town.

Google
A phenomenal dinner tonight! We caught trout on the lake today and brought it to Catch and Cook at Paisley Grille. Chef Carlos was fantastic! He prepared the most amazing fish and side dishes! The roasted carrots were the best ever! The new owner Brad is committed to excellent food and atmosphere and it shows! 100% recommend dining here!

Google
Delicious food and great service. Got the Smoke house chicken sandwich. My wife got the tomato jam burger. Both were great. Chicken sandwich was better though. Definitely a top chicken sandwich for me. Order the Bavarian pretzels as well which were great.

Google
Pros the food, service, drink and music were great. They offered some limited wines and cases of beer to go, but very limited. We came back for the pub fries and they were tastey. I'm a bit disappointed one of the better taps ran out. And there is so much room for more said the selection is honestly kinda limited for drafts. The service was awesome and always important. There are multiple rooms here and the front room is not the vibe, the bar area and back were upbeat. Biggest drawl back..I expected way more cheese curds, other restaurants I've spoiled my dinner with them. The dipping sauce for them was a sour creme chipotle ranch and beer cheese, both were ok, they could be elevated with caramel, red sauce etc, but I still wanted more.

Google
Very friendly and attentive service. I ordered the Paisley Fried Chicken sandwich with bacon, pepper jack cheese, onion ring, pickles, lettuce, BQ sauce, on a brioche bun with homemade chips & pickle. It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my 67 years!! Our server made it over the top with his kindness!! I’ll be back for sure and will recommend it to others!! A local resident had recommended it to me.

Google
We stopped in on a Saturday night around 6pm for dinner while on a family trip to Muskegon and had the best meal and service of our trip. The atmosphere is dim, quiet and comfortable. Our server took great care of us and was friendly and got everything right- thanks Neveah! Our meals were absolutely fantastic. We were started off with the best cornbread we’ve had it was almost like cornbread cake served cold with whipped butter. The lobster bisque was fresh and creamy and had a slight kick! The 16oz ribeye was cooked perfectly to order and exceptional. Oh and they flame melt the butter on your steak right at the table! The tiger shrimp was outstanding and fresh! The best dish of the night was the chicken Parmesan. It was levels of flavor the pasta and broccoli served under the chicken was heavenly. The chicken itself was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside then topped with marinara cheese then pesto. So so good. Thank you Brad for taking great care of user had the best dinner of our trip! Highly recommend

Yelp
Food was very good, ambiance is nice, service at 2:30-3:45 was not great but they did a shift change as well. We had two different servers -not sure if that had something to do with it. We were still not there for that long so it wasn't that bad. The zuppa Toscana soup there was incredible! I get it at Olive Garden all the time and Paisley Pig's was so much better. Hard to believe but the flavor was just..... to die for. Hats off to the chef on that one! I'm so glad I got a second bowl to take home. Burgers were good as well.

Yelp
Ever had a server hand you a plate instead of placing it on the table? Enjoy this and other service oddities at the Paisley Grille. Enter through one of the many doors (we have the whole first floor!) and see where you end up. I walked through double glass doors into back of house? and a garbage can. "Follow me" we were instructed by the hostess? in lieu of "where would you like to sit?" Outside please, where it feels less empty. Ok pub grub at an inflated price, if you're really interested. Went inside and asked the hostess? for the bill after an extended wait. Her response, verbatim: "who are you?" Ha! Nobody.

Yelp
New ownership, but it is one step forward and two back. They did the smart move of purging the menu to get it to more manageable size to turn out quality food, but the quality is still missing. I started with a simple side salad that took quite a while to come. The old pub salad was always a goo solid salad. When it didn't come, I explained I had wanted it before the entree. He said it would be right out. It was about another 5 minutes or so. When it arrived, it was a handful of spring mix on a small saucer with spiced walnuts of all things and cherry tomatoes. Probably half (maybe a third the size of the old one). When the entrees came, they brought another side salad (which I declined, clearly it had been rang in with the entrees). My wife had the butternut squash ravioli. For $32 for a vegetarian pasta, we were hopeful but the pesto was so thick and entirely overpowered the pasta so you couldn't taste anything else--including the ravioli. I got the half rack of ribs (which had been excellent at the original Paisley, when it opened, before the order is sold it and it started going downhill). Strangely enough, they brought my meal on two different plates. I'm not sure why you would have something like this on the menu if you don't have a plate large enough to hold it. The corn succotash, which was the only thing still on the plate before which retained any kind quality has then replaced by a middling potato salad that could've come from a tub at D&W. The french fries were the same and were fine, because they're thankfully difficult to mess up. The ribs were almost impossible to cut through with the knife they gave me. I chewed on them as best as I could, but wound up only eating about half of two or three. I know that technically good ribs should not be fall off the bone, but these you could barely get off the bone. They've tried to keep the root beer barbecue sauce, but it's a far cry from the original one and lacked any real depth of flavor. Eventually, I just gave up and got a whiskey on the rocks. So I guess we won't be back. We are disappointed that the new ownership can't seem to fix the service and quality problems that plagued the previous owner. Hopefully they will continue to overhaul the menu, but in a positive direction instead of what they've done so far, which feels (like I said) like it's one step forward and two steps back.

Yelp
Still excellent. The wings are fall off the bone and delicious. Love the bbq and the fact there's plenty of sauce. Actually having a version of Birria in quesadilla form is great. Love the atmosphere and the service was great. The person I was with loved their pulled pork sandwich.

Yelp
Had an early dinner here with family. This place is a corner suite in a row of businesses, but expansive and nicely decorated. The menu has so many different and interesting dishes but my husband and I weren't as hungry as we'd hoped, so deciding what to order took some time. Our server was friendly and patient as we decided. I knew I had to try their 'Don't Get Saucy With Me' vegetarian pizza. Not disappointed! It was a 14" hand tossed (?) savory treat (with the cheese, pesto and artichokes), and had a slightly sweet finish (with the light balsamic glaze). I never thought of this combination, but it was delicious! We'll certainly return with a bigger appetite next time we visit the area!

Emma C.

Yelp
Called ahead to ensure they didn't use nuts in their food (for allergy purpose) and were told that none of their dishes contained nuts. After arriving and looking further into the menu noticed they have both boiled peanuts and walnut pesto neither of which were disclosed on the phone.

Kim G.

Yelp
Fantastic restaurant. Had the spare rib over vegetable risotto that was excellent. Staff was super friendly and provided great service. Thanks for the wonderful meal.

Yelp
I was hungry and thirsty after an event in Grand Haven and had The Paisley Pig on my list. Nate and I stopped in around 8 pm on a weekday and were seated right away. The restaurant is located in the main floor of what looks like an apartment complex and there was plenty of parking. Matt our server was very patient and accommodating to his tables. The menu is massive so I'd recommend checking it out online ahead of time if you can! Everything sounded really good so it was tough to pick. They have sandwiches, salads, burgers, choice steak, pizza, and more. It was buy one, get one 1/2 off burger night, but we ended up with sandwiches. I love that they have so many options for their burgers: beef, beet and pineapple veggie burger, Beyond burger, and salmon burger! You can also get gluten free bread and different sides for an up charge. I chose the 1/2 sandwich combo with a salad - I really like that they have this option all the time and not just for lunch. The ultimate Reuben and chopped Mediterranean salad were my picks. Nate got the Twisted Tang chicken sandwich which has a mix of buffalo and Carolina gold sauce, with ranch, pickled celery, hot/sweet pickles, and pepper jack cheese. Our food took a little bit of time to come out but I was also starving. I was impressed with the thoughtful presentation - the sauerkraut in my reuben was in between the layers of meat, which helped prevent the bread from getting soggy. Genius! The salad was so delicious, with olives, cucumbers, salami, and cheese. I loved that it was all chopped nicely with no huge pieces. This meal was so tasty. I had a few bites of the chicken sandwich and I can officially say it's one of the best I've had. The combo of buffalo and Carolina gold sauce is a game changer, and we loved the pickled celery! SO good. The seasoned fries were like Hopcat's old crack fries, super delicious and a bit of a sweet/savory vibe. The food overall was pretty salty, but everything was so good. I will definitely be back to try more from the massive menu.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our quick dinner here. Service was fast and friendly and the menu was great. We started with whitefish dip and pretzels and both were great. The white fish was very heavy in dill which wasn't bad and it came with red pepper on top which I enjoyed but my wife could have done without. Still, short of the pink pony on Mackinac island, don't know that I've had better or fresher. The pretzels were great. And the beer cheese was perfect. The jalapeño mustard was more sweet than anything and not for me. I had pizza which was excellent. Wood fired and very well done. My wife had a French dip and it was amazing. We'll be back as regulars more than likely. Though I can see during busy hours how this review may change as parking, and seating could be a challenge.

Yelp
The Paisley Pig has a big menu and good bar list. Their beer selection and cocktails are good (especially if you catch happy hour). I'm a fan of their burgers, but they always have a nice selection of rotating specials. The kid's meal portion is generous. The servers are great, and this is a good-sized cute restaurant. We'll be back!

Patrick M.

Yelp
We miss the Paisley Pig. The change in owners and new chef has lost what was once a great establishment. Service and food are not close to what is was

Yelp
The food wasnt that good i waited a not to long but still preatty long there could be some upgrades but the robot made my day

Yelp
We were lucky enough to find this dog- friendly pub as we were camping in the area with a large German Shepherd. They were very accommodating and had an incredible menu. Very creative options for everything: apps, salads, pizzas, bowls...we got the whatever floats your GOAT pizza and Brussels sprouts salad. The salad was one of the best I've ever had. It has many different textures and balanced sweet, salty and creamy. The salmon jerky took it over the top. We will definitely return to try all of the other creative options.

Yelp
Wonderful experience this afternoon. New bar manager Kane was super friendly and hitting it out of the park with interesting drinks and new owner Brad was engaging and shared his excitement and vision for the future. Will definitely be regulars here!

Yelp
We are not fans of the new Paisly Pig food menu. They want to go upscale with menu. The restaurant is not an upscale location, regardless of menu pricing. They replaced their pizza with a $26 pizza. It is not a $26 pizza. It was one of the restaurants we frequented, but will do it less now.

Yelp
Years ago my family ate here the first week they opened and did not have a great experience, we all assumed it was just a growing pain but I never felt compelled to return. I'm happy to say that I tried this place again tonight and it was nothing like I remembered. The food was incredible and they had a massive selection to pick from. Plenty of no meat options as well which I didn't expect. I'm used to only having 1-2 options to choose from at places like this and was surprised to have so many choices. The wait was long as they were absolutely slammed but I felt like the staff handled it really well and kept everything running smoothly, I was impressed! (TIP: Put your name down online before you head over!) It's a little on the pricey side but if you're going to eat in Grand Haven that's the norm so I can't knock them too much for it. It's not too often I try a restaurant and it goes from a poor experience to an amazing one, so I think they've earned the 5 stars! They'll definitely be on my radar when we're thinking of places to eat going forward.

Yelp
Ok, love this place. Had brisket meatloaf w potatoes, squash, and cornbread. All were delicious. Had a couple MI micro brews to make the meal even better! Bartender was very helpful and was nice about providing 2 brew samples

Kyle M.

Yelp
Ordered wings, shrimp and soup. Food came out fast, so fast I believe it was microwaved. Wings had been baked, to the point the bones just fell out. Ordered Parm garlic, almost flavorless wings. Large order of wings but very soggy and over cooked. Prices on menu seemed very high. Won't be back.

Joan G.

Yelp
New owners, spring 2025. Food took 30+ minutes to arrive for a late (2pm) lunch. The restaurant was essentially empty at this time. We sat in the bar area, and were pestered by fruit flies during our entire wait/meal. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Jill K.

Yelp
I had a great dinner here on a Monday night. Our server was very attentive. The food was excellent. It came from the kitchen in a good amount of time, hot, fresh and tasty. We also had an opportunity to try the desserts and they did not disappoint! I don't live in Michigan, but if I did, I'd be back here to dine very soon!
google avatar

Jasmine M.

Yelp
The food was amazing and our server was incredible! Iggy needs a raise because he was pure vibes ! The baby back ribs were incredible and the sweet chilli wings were awesome. Definitely coming back here.

Scott S.

Yelp
All the above the chef is wonderful and the staff is on point! I would bring my family there anytime!

Yelp
This place used to be amazing but has gone majorly downhill. The quality of the meat and other products they use just isn't there any more. They also keep trying to change the menu and not for the better. At this point a burger and fries is well over twenty dollars and the meat is overcooked and tastes like Walmart ground chuck when they used to have these amazing smash burgers. We didn't mind that the pig was pricier than other options when the food was up to snuff but now it's basically like any chain roadhouse quality level for gastro pub prices.

Sarah R.

Yelp
I am confused about this once great place. The food was on the struggle bus in all areas: from presentation, taste and lack of care and respect for what drove people to dine there to begin with. The Pizza: crust was not done, doughy and was unable to handle the mushrooms (those guys were over cooked). The most interesting thing though that pretty much sealed the fate of this place is the coconut shrimp. Menu description: 6 coconut crusted shrimp with homemade Parrot Bay Pina Colada dipping sauce. Yet, my coconut shrimp had, what appeared to be drizzled Frank's Red Hot on it and a dipping sauce that was lost to me. Don't know what it was but it wasn't the advertised dipping sauce. You guys need to get it together or you will be running a once great establishment into the ground. Server was chill though.

Yelp
Why is this business lumped in with the Paisley Pig when it's not even close to the same restaurant? We've been going to the Pig for years, the food was always excellent. I don't know when it changed hands exactly and became the Paisley Grille but $137 later (for 2), we will never return. Clearly this place died with the departure of the 'famous' chef. The pizza was atrocious, undercooked, barely edible. The chicken sandwich is served between two waffles, which I assumed would be on par with the incredible waffles the Pig used to serve, but instead it was two Leggo-my-eggo waffles which couldn't even hold the chicken, which itself was so salty as to not be enjoyable whatsoever. Not easy to screw up fried chicken but they managed to somehow. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer, and for some bizarre reason it appeared to be marked with drizzles of hot sauce (???), which you then were supposed to dip into the far too thin sauce and the combination of flavors was strange to say the least. Why is there hot sauce on the coconut shrimp? At least the fries were decent. Everything is about 10-15% more expensive than the Pig and of far less quality. My drink is $13 of course. Why wouldn't it be. The waiter was plenty friendly but my wife had picked out the soup she wanted as her meal only to be told when she went to order it that they didn't actually have it. And this is on what appears to be a paired down (temp?) menu. If you're out of something, or don't have it, TELL THE CUSTOMER WHEN YOU HAND THEM THE MENU! Basic stuff here. Also took my Amex card then came back to tell me they don't actually take Amex (yet?). I can't necessarily blame them for the fact that I spent the following day throwing up all day from what appeared to be some bad food, but they're definitely a suspect. Stay away from this hell hole.

Steve P.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great atmosphere and my significant other and I have become repeat customers with the proximity to our summer place. Entrees are excellent as are all the drinks and we have interacted with the owner. Our only wish is they would bring back the chicken/ sausage nachos. The wontons, balsamic reduction was amazing and a must have appetizer.

Kevin C.

Yelp
I had better food in prison... and it almost took me as long to get the taste out of my mouth...

Yelp
AC was on and it was uncomfortably chilly. Keep your coat on. Beverage cooler case next to host stand. Noticed they had Rombauer wine stocked. Not greeted for at least 5 min at host stand; host was attending to to go customers who were cashing out. A server noticed us and sat us. Huge menu, specializing in pizza.

Laurieanne K.

Yelp
Went to the Paisley Pig for the first time. The food was good, the back bar is very cozy, and the bar manager was very friendly. We will be back. My only comment is the chicken/waffle sandwich was odd that the waffle was an Ego, not fresh made.
google avatar

Cassandra L.

Yelp
The crab ragoon pizza was amazing. The chicken sandwich was so good! The staff was nice and helpful.

Kirstin A.

Yelp
The Paisley Pig did not honor our 7:00 pm reservation; we ended up having to wait almost 40 min to be seated. Once we were seated, we were told they were out of pulled pork; fair enough. It was the end of the weekend. Half an hour AFTER we ordered, though, we were told that they were out of pizza dough, necessitating almost half our party to change their orders. Service was adequate but nothing special; server made several comments that indicated that our party was burdensome, which did not land well after the rest of our experience. Across the board, the food was overpriced and not worth the trouble we went through to get it. We won't be back. We won't recommend it. If you're in GH, visit any number of excellent establishments before you try this one.

Mi Meredith S.

Yelp
Used to be a great place. Tiny portions -big prices. Server was lovely but sadly we won't return :(

Yelp
Not sure how it's so highly rated, food was average at best. We ordered two sandwiches: * Grilled Cheese. It was just okay. Nothing notable, but I certainly would not order it again. * Paisley Pig. This should not be labeled as a specialty. It lacked in any kind of flavor. Although I could see BBQ sauce, the whole sandwich was bland and disappointing. I ate a couple of pieces of meat that feel off the sandwich and wow! It really tasted like nothing. * Brussel Sprouts: Also disappointing. While they were sweet from the maple syrup, it also lacked any other flavor. * Chips: They are mass produced chip; nothing to brag about. My overall review, they have no idea how to flavor or season their food. And the 2.5 charge for ordering to-go? Cmon now. Do you charge dine-in for a to-go box too? Would not recommend.

Yelp
This place kept coming up as a suggestion, so we decided to give it a try since we were in GH. Ambiance: Dark lighting, wood planks on wall, tvs going- it was giving a sports bar vibe. When we got there, it didn't look super busy, but it did take longer than what you'd expect for our order to arrive at the table. Keeping that in mind, I wouldn't try to come here on a busy night. Food was alright, we got pork sandwich, artichoke dip, pizza, and a burger. Didn't care for the slaw that came with pork sandwich- the slaw it came with tasted like the cabbage had hung out too long in the vinegar. I would have much preferred a creamy version of slaw. They could have been a little more generous with pizza toppings, as it came out looking more like cheesebread, artichoke dip was very much on the salty side. I did like the sweet potato fries, though. Even though I ordered regular fries, I'm happy they mistakenly gave me sweet potato fries because they were actually pretty tasty.

Yelp
So went back after the owner was kind enough to respond. Complete 180. Great service. Great food. Buffalo Cauliflower is best I've tried. Terrific happy hour. Went back a couple times after as well and same excellent service. Recommend this place to friends and family now!

Yelp
There is a parking lot behind the restaurant (rare for grand haven) since it is a few minutes away from downtown, huge plus! They have a small menu with some unique offerings and some typical barbecue food as well. They were slammed on a Friday night and I was surprised how many people they could seat with some rooms on the other side of the restaurant. We made a reservation for 4 people about 2 hours before we arrived. They seemed to be understaffed so it took about an hour and a half for our food to come after we ordered. My boyfriend got the full rack of ribs and they were good but not quite as tender as I would have liked. I ordered the beet and goat cheese ravioli; it was in a thick layer of brown butter (not exactly what I normally consider sauce) with pistachios on top. I liked the little cornbread that came on top but probably would not order this dish again. Also- The ac was blasting so make sure to bring a sweater in the summer!

Yelp
We had a reservation on a Tuesday during Coast Guard and the place was hopping .... Service was good and food and drinks even better . So many unique pizza choices plus burgers and large plates . We shared an interesting take on hummus and it was devoured , pickled hummus I believe was its name .... Ample sides salads before our shared pizza Burrata Natta was the one we chose ... very tasty . The onion soup has been a hit since they opened . The restaurant has expanded and can seat many more people now . I love the ambiance as once inside you'd never know your really in a condo unit. Parking can be. Challenge but if you don't mind a short stroll use the lot of the business closed for the day in the same complex . Lunchtime might be more challenging as everyone is open . Pleasantly surprised by our first visit in a couple years ....

Yelp
Just ordered two more pizzas. Long day on the lake it was hard work. Paisley pig pizza sounded perfect. So we ordered the Alexander and the Italian style. I also ordered an add-on but to be quite frank I don't remember what it is. With this place you know it's gonna be good it doesn't matter what you ordered. If you haven't tried it you definitely should. It sure seems to be the local favorites as it's packed but we're doing it and run by ordering takeout. It appears that they know my number so this was my second order for third I forget I just know the food is really good but we have to wait 30 minutes oh whoa is me. I'll be watching the clock. You should stop by they have pretty good beer, and they have my favorite rum mountain day. You can't go wrong with picking a company like that. I love the owners attitude. Sadly as a T-shirt say I don't know the owner... But I do enjoy the food. PS: I'm not the only one that enjoys the food food my wife Peggy loves it and our captain Justin loves it also.

Yelp
Everything about this place keeps me coming back. Local ingredients, options to support your diet choices, great wait staff and the ambiance is relaxing yet intimate for those date night conversations.

Rick D.

Yelp
Service was good. Food not so much. Ordered the sampler platter. Ribs were old and dry. We complained and they took half off the price. The pulled pork, wings, etc. were nothing to write home about. We also ordered a full rack of baby backs. The top half was okay but the bottom half tasted old too. Disappointing! Especially after eating at Snug Harbor the night before for about the same money. Sorry, folks. We went because of the high ratings and many reviews, but our experience wasn't good.

Yelp
Camping weekend. Friends have been here and recommended it. Not a huge menu but enough. Reasonable prices and our waitress was awesome! Pizzas looked so good. 3 of had blue Gil fish and chips. Very good. Did not like the Cole slaw. Someone else had ribs and they were so good too as well as the brisket and burger. Place is bigger than you think. All in all a great place

Corinne L.

Yelp
Walked in...Ghost town...young lady waiting on us was nice...decor pretty...ordered drinks, they were out of Shorts Beer, ok it happens. Order 3 appetizers, out of 1 of them...again it happens. Appetizers decent...an hour later we get our food. 6 of us ordered sandwich's, one nachos...so hour wait, kind of long but whatever. Food comes out, our chicken sandwich's are prefab chicken tenders...I tell my husband, just eat it. We all take a bite of our sandwiches, 4 of us had chicken. The most overcooked chicken I have EVER had in my life! 2 had burgers, again so overcooked! 3 out of 4 of us could not eat the chicken it was that bad, the other one only did as we literally all had not ate since 7am when we left for our trip...the guys disliked their burgers too but again we have not ate since 7am. I ate everyone's pickle just so I could have something in my stomach other than the pretzel I had for an appetizer. Looked at my husband and said I literally think in all our travels and years we have been together this is the very worst place we have ever ate at...our adult children agreed. The waitress said she let the chef and manager know but they said they were too busy to come talk to us. There were 11 customers, and 7 staff outside of our party of 8 (2 being children)...if you cook for a restaurant and manage a restaurant and don't even want to try to make it right for your customers...says a lot! God bless the waitress for trying to do her best but my advice...RUN, find a new job!

Yelp
Food is okay. Nothing special. The service is slow and inattentive. Seems like they don't have enough staff to manage their business. Better to eat at home.

Valerie Y.

Yelp
Hubby and I wanted a nice anniversary dinner and hadn't been to the pig in a while, so we thought we'd grab some of the great food we remembered. Knowing it was a bit on the pricey side anyway. We settled on burger with fries and rueben with sweet potato fries. The burger was OK and not Hot, hubby's fries were cold as well, my sweet potato fries are pictured. We were there Around 4p on a Sunday and they weren't busy. It took 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fries. When we mentioned the fries to the waitress, she was kind about it and explained that the sugar makes the sweet potato fries appear crispy. I can agree with crispy, but these were over cooked. She was nice and was able to comp us for the fry situation. Just not the atmosphere we remembered, the staff seemed slow and unattentive. Hubby never got his drink topped off, We only had the napkins we started with. We did leave a 20% tip off the original bill anyway, as that's our standard practice, but we really wanted to leave less. If you're going to wear shirts that say "I know the owner too", make sure there's no room for a bad review.

Teressa S.

Yelp
Service by waitress was awful. Bad attitude. Service was worst ever. We have never had service like this before. Serve salad and Rueben. She needs to find another job.

Yelp
Average food and atmosphere. You get what you pay for, nothing special but not bad. Similar to so many other places with TV's everywhere.

Yelp
So far, this is one of our new favorite spots. To be honest, I'm surprised at some of the critical reviews I'm seeing on here because every time we visit (at least 1-2x a month) the food is great, and the service is excellent. We've gotten Izzy as our server on multiple occasions and she's always right on top of it. The pub fries are fire! I highly recommend these - they might be some of the best fries I've ever had. I also like to order the "I Like Pig Butts..." pizza, which is unusual for me since I'm more of a 'traditionalist' when it comes to pizza. It's usually relatively busy and in the summer months they have outdoor seating. They're a 'gastropub' but I can't comment on the booze selection. The environment is casual, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The parking lot is a bit of chaos since it's right next to a Culver's and I think some sort of hotel? You can usually find parking but be prepared to maneuver around since not everyone is always paying attention.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews but our experience was so disappointing that, unfortunately, I have to share. I called the Paisley Pig to make a reservation 4 days in advance. I called the next day to ask a question about my reservation and confirmed, once again, that we had a reservation for our party. Upon arrival, we were told that they were aware of our reservation but that there was a wait. Fair enough, I understand having to turn a table or wait for another group to pay. But as I stood in the waiting area I heard multiple groups, all with reservations, be told that they should still expect a 20 minute wait and that they would be put on the list and noted as having made a reservation. This made for an atmosphere that was chaotic, confused, and tense. We had a reservation at 7PM and ended up being seated at 7:45PM. Our server made multiple (very thinly veiled) comments about our group being burdensome which did not sit well with me after the ordeal we faced just getting a table (that we had reserved earlier in the week). The food was expensive and nothing super special. It was hard to enjoy it anyway because by the time we got our food, we ended up having to eat fast because the dining room was closing and it was abundantly clear that our server wanted us out. Between not honoring our reservation and the inconvenience we seemed to have caused the staff, I will not be returning to or recommending the Paisley Pig. I work in the service industry, I understand that parties overstay their expected mealtimes and that slow turnovers and waits happen -- but the fact that my reservation, and from the sounds of it, the reservations of others meant next to nothing was incredibly frustrating.

Yelp
Walked in and it looks like a really sweet place! Our waitress was very sweet. The food on the other hand....the menu made it sound like you were about to get the best food of your life! Homemade and fresh prepared items. The appetizer was good. The main meal......I got the smoke house chicken sandwich. Assuming it would be a battered chicken breast the way the description made it sound. I got overcooked chicken tenders on a bun with a little circle of sauce and cheese that looked like it sat out for three days. Mind you it was not super busy so the hour wait for my meal and what I got did not add up. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went in for a bite. I think eating a whole package of saltine crackers would have been easier to swallow. The chicken tenders were cooked as if they were afraid they still had a heart beat! The burgers tasted like dirty flat top. Out of our group of 7 only one person ate their meal. We tried to talk to the manager and she refused to come talk with us over the issue. She looked right at our table and walked away. That showed how much this place cares about customer service! I would not recommend!
