The Palace Belvedere

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful heritage property! Perfectly located in the heart of the city, it offers stunning views of the lake right from the room. The rooms are spacious and ideal for families, maintaining the charm of a true heritage experience. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, and the housekeeping team ensured everything was spotless throughout our stay. A perfect blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality — highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Absolutely terrible place. We came to this hill station for a relaxing vacation with friends, but the hotel completely ruined it. At 8 PM, the staff came to our room and rudely told us to stop the music because the owner lives on the property and doesn’t want any “noise.” Seriously? It wasn’t even loud, and it was still early in the evening — isn’t this supposed to be a holiday destination? To make things worse, they told us we weren’t allowed to drink in the hotel. What kind of vacation spot is this where you can’t even enjoy yourself with a couple of drinks in your private room? We felt like we were being monitored and policed the entire time. Zero hospitality, no sense of customer service, and an attitude like they’re doing you a favor by letting you stay. If the owner wants complete silence and no enjoyment, maybe don’t run a hotel? Total waste of money. If you’re coming here to chill, party a little, and enjoy your vacation — this is NOT the place. Go somewhere else where they actually treat you like guests, not criminals.

Please book the Belvedere Suite. It's the best one. For the best view, book the room on the second floor. Get lake view from all rooms on the 1st/2nd floor. ||The food is amazing and full of flavours. The staff is pretty decent and take your feedback seriously. ||

The Hotel goes by the name, it is indeed a Palace, the food is good, the staff is very nice. Only thing to take care of , if you are a driver of plains , don’t try to park the vehicle yourself as the joining road is very steep and narrow. Call to the hotel prior to parking so they will facilitate a driver to park for you. overall a nice experience and add on is “walkable from Mall road”

The property is well built and the people are good in terms of taking care of the guests. Food is awesome must visit. Daya Ma'am is a warm person that makes your stay even better

Awesome stay I had a wonderful stay at The Palace Belvedere. The hotel beautifully blends historic charm with modern comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the rooms were both spacious and well-maintained. The on-site restaurant offered delicious food, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions with Lake view from balcony. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and relaxing getaway.

The breakfast was great, we are 13 people who are currently staying at the Belvedere and each one of us loved the breakfast especially the dosa and the aloo Puri it was on point however the sambar was a little too sweet but it was still great. They fulfilled all our requests without a second thought and they were very fast too. We were overwhelmed by the soft spoken and polite staff they are very good at what they do. The property is nice too it has an old palace vibe to it and the view is breathtaking overall the hotel was good and we enjoyed our stay

I really enjoyed 2 night stay here. It is near to mall road so its has a very stunning view from hotel. Staff is very cooperative. Breakfast was very tasty. Rooms are very big even it can accommodate 4 adults. they have species parking. Overall the experience is nice and families are welcome to stay. The host is also nice.
