Google
Their specialty martinis are delicious, and their fish & frits are the best around. Very big pieces of fish deep fried to perfection.

The service was wonderful. I think his name was Gordy according to the ticket. He was an awesome waiter. The food was hot and delicious. We had a charcuterie board, and it didn't disappoint. It had bacon, turkey, sausage, liver pate, cheeses, mustard, pickled veggies, and bread. We also had the Brussel sprouts and red cabbage. They were very good. We had the rustic bowl that had spaetzle with cheese sauce and pork. We were very pleased with our dinner. They have beer flights and a great wine selection. Seafood paella was great. Bartender, Tex is amazing! Back again! Our V day experience was superb, and Bonnie is AMAZING ! We loved her. Another great meal. The cocktails are so fun and unique !

Google
Food & service was great! Sam was a superb server for our group - she was very attentive & had a great attitude. Our group went for appetizers & enjoyed everything we tried. The Board was definitely worth ordering - loaded with tasty options. We also really enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates, pork rinds, & veal meatballs. We will definitely return to this charming spot!

Google
In the Hillcrest area so prices are leaning on the higher side. In an old 2 story house style with limited parking. Many park street side or at the Kroger parking and walk over. Enjoyed the ambiance. Dim lighting at dinner and noticed folks using their phones as a flashlight to view the menu. Our service was wonderful. Food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal. Comfortable and nice atmosphere. Good music, too.

Google
Aiesha was our server upstairs. She had many great suggestions. She was attentive and had a great personality. Very personable! The liver patte, fish cakes (tilapia & sea bass) with german potato salad, homemade cheesecake for dessert; they were all delicious. Wife had gluten free brats and GF bread for the patte. If it was earlier in the evening, I would have gotten an espresso too.

One of our favorite restaurants in all of Arkansas. The food is always amazing, the drink selection is top-notch and the vibe is always right.

We drove up to Little Rock to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and she wanted to try this place. We were promptly greeted and seated and soon our orders were in. The food arrived after a short time. I had the weinerschnitzel while my daughter had jeagerschnitzel, the wife had lasagne and my daughter’s boyfriend had fish and chips. Everyone was happy with their meals and we sat and chatted while dining.

Google
We live near Pantry Crest, and often have meals on celebratory occasions there. Yesterday the occasion was a birthday. We had Wiener schnitzel, roast pork with knedliky (sliced dumplings), and salmon — along with some red cabbage and sauerkraut, and in the case of the healthy salmon dish, healthy spinach and asparagus. All was delicious. When we go to Pantry Crest, I remember with gratitude an evening several years ago when some friends arrived from Hamburg and we took them to Pantry Crest, which was so crowded that there were no tables. And the hostess kindly set up a makeshift table for us to sit at while we waited, and then brought us sampler glasses of a large selection of beer on tap. Tomas Bohm, the owner of Pantry Crest, then came out of the kitchen and welcomed and talked to us. Such warm welcome and hospitality make a real difference when you choose restaurants to frequent.

Yelp
Fantastic find in the Heights. We were visiting Little Rock and found this on Yelp. Couldn't believe our good fortune. Great service, and the food was delicious. We had the specials and a jaegerschnitzel. The entree special included some of the best sauerkraut I have ever had, and I know sauerkraut, having lived in Germany. Don't miss this place.

Yelp
Very cozy, intimate spot for dinner! Because The Pantry has made its home in an old house in the Hillcrest neighborhood, when you're there you feel like you're at your elegant friend's house for supper club ; this friend has a penchant for preparing food that does more than just fill your stomach; it informs your palette. Between the high quality food and the passionate staff, The Pantry does just that! I highly recommend their salads, their salmon, and their homemade ricotta (which I may have recently had too much of). I plan to keep returning.

Yelp
Nothing on the menu is bad... BUT GET THE LASAGNA!! Great food, service and atmosphere!

Yelp
Amazing! German food is underrated, but The Pantry Crest makes it worth celebrating. Our server was great, made good suggestions, and was very personable. We started with bacon wrapped dates, then I had the bratwurst plate with potatoes and sauerkraut and my husband had the breaded jaegerschitzel. We added a serving of brussels sprouts, too. Everything was delicious! Perfect bite was a piece of bratwurst with some sauerkraut dipped in a bit of mustard. Another highlight was the cocktails! Definitely worth a visit, and we plan to go back the next time we're in town.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere and the food was great! The service was also exceptional, will visit again soon

Yelp
I loved most everything about this place except for my order (roasted pork shoulder). The meat was very dry, and the potato dumplings were too doughy. My favorite part was the braised red cabbage - it was sweet. The other person got fish and frites, which was good. The service was a bit slow, and it was hard to get the server's attention at times. The interior was nice, the people seemed diverse. I wasn't sure what to expect for my first time in Little Rock, but I was pleasantly surprised. It seems like a place where I would enjoy living.

Corinne M.

Yelp
The food was wonderful as always. Our wait person Aiesha was one of the best I have had anywhere, she suggested wine based on our taste, added extra touches to our order. Even though busy she was always attentive. One of my best dining experiences in a long time.

Shirley F.

Yelp
Creamy Truffle Deviled EggsBeer Battled Cod Fish I love this location. The food is great, esp those truffle deviled eggs. The drinks are great, too. The staff are friendly and wonderful! The patio is great; however, you can always enjoy indoors. I love to go in during football season and watch the games at the bar. Fantastic bartender!

Yelp
Traveling from New Mexico to home found this restaurant. Super service from the time we were seated until we left. Wide selection of wines and drinks and this carries over to the entries. Noise level is on the higher side and one may have to search for a place to park.
google avatar

Katy G.

Yelp
Food was fabulous! Deviled eggs and pear salad is a must! Cocktails very good as well! Entrees were yummy. Dessert was nothing like I've ever had before... chocolate salami! I'll probably dream about it since we aren't from here. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the waiter we had. Food came out fast but he just would not come back to our table and could not remember what we ordered.. would come back and ask us again (twice). Loved the experience just wish we had a better waiter I know he was trying just not his thing. But bravo to the food!!
google avatar

Adrienne C.

Yelp
Get the deviled eggs. Omg they are so good. I also recommend the bacon wrapped dates and for the main course...lasagna! Nothing bad on the menu.

Mary Ann M.

Yelp
I just recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The food and service was excellent. Cannot wait to go back.

Randy W.

Yelp
best neighborhood restaurant in Little Rock friendly reasonable cost in a way it reminds one of a European cafe daily specials posted in chalk with fab standby fare

Karen D.

Yelp
The service at the Pantry Crest was great. Our server was helpful, attentive and friendly. The food was good and presented nicely. The atmosphere has potential. (We had a group of children behind us so that was loud and nearing rambunctious, but that wasn't the fault of restaurant personnel or policy.) Parking is limited and is my only complaint. I look forward to going back for the acclaimed lasagne.

Christine H.

Yelp
We celebrated an anniversary meal here not too long ago and still remembering how delicious the food was as well as friendly our server was

Yelp
This is the best German food I have had since going to Berlin a few years ago. Cool place, good service and amazing schnitzel. Don't this twice- just go!
google avatar

Aaron B.

Yelp
We had a great dinner here! The food & drinks were great! The restaurant is a cute converted old house & noise level wasn't bad considering the place was packed (always a good sign). Highly recommend the jaeger schnitzel.

Krista B.

Yelp
Good appetizers, nice selection for dinner and excellent cheesecake for dessert! Stellar service too!

Yelp
Nice local Hungarian restaurant- they have 2 locations in town COVID-19 protected - tables are 6F Food was good Chicken liver pate was very good The street fair sausage was delicious I took it with the spicy mustard For main I took the house made Bratwurst - they said that it's home made, was very good For desert I took the apple strudel - it was just OK I think they put to much cinnamon in that cake The overall- good restaurant with very good service

Carmen S.

Yelp
The food is fresh, and the meats (brats) are delicious because they are made in house. The staff are attentive and very helpful if you want to try something new. The atmosphere is warm and cozy because it is in what use to be a home years ago in Hillcrest. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
The Pantry Crest is my favorite restaurant in Little Rock by far! It is in an updated, understated, and very comfortable atmosphere that really makes for a great night of celebrating with friends or dining with family. Check out the outdoor patio on nice evenings for a fantastic ambiance. The lasagne is my "go to", but don't stop there. The fish and chips is also fabulous. There is a wonderful wine list and a good craft beer selection - all reasonably priced. To finish, the melt in your mouth, flavorful, decadent cheesecake will complete the experience. Check it out and see for yourself. They will exceed your expectations!

Yelp
We went on a Thursday night around 5 or 6 and it was already busy. We didn't want to wait for a table so we sat at the bar. The bartender was very efficient and polite. He didn't seem annoyed that we only wanted water to drink and were ordering dinner. It was fairly loud inside, but the downstairs dining area isn't very big. It's clean, modern, and nice - cloth napkins if you know what I mean. We ordered the jager schnitzel and wiener schnitzel plus an appetizer of bacon wrapped dates. Both schnitzels were very good. The jager schnitzel came with spaetzle, and the Wiener schnitzel came with roasted potatoes. The spaetzle had just the right texture. I wish it came as a side dish without cheese. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. They were almost a dessert because of the sweet taste. The food came out very quickly - like less than 10 minutes, maybe less than 5. Again, the bartender was very good and checked on us regularly. He didn't ignore us like some might have since we weren't drinking alcohol. Several people came in for to go orders. The place continued to fill up the longer we stayed. The menu has more than just German and Hungarian food, but since those are so hard to find in this area, it was a nice change of pace from our typical meal. The old house where The Pantry is located is quaint and cozy. Parking is on the street. There's a Kroger grocery across the street along with other stores and shops. There are two coffee shops nearby within walking distance if you want some after your meal.

Yelp
Clearly everyone loves this place and the love is well deserved. Had the beef goulash which has a very rich thick beef stew with shredded and soft beef with pickled onions and bread dumplings. Authentic. Also tried the fish soup which has a chicken broth, unique. The Brussels sprouts have a garlic aioli If you're into that :) Had the Nutella creme brûlée which is exactly you would imagine it. Rich and with a lot of Nutella. Cute ambience. So why not five stars? I would say that since it already has a sister restaurant on Rodney Parham it would have been better to perhaps expanded the menu somewhat. Perhaps some pitcher country cooking from the Czech countryside or even perhaps some fusion with the local cuisine if that's not blasphemous to say... like a Prague-little rock creation we could all adopt as our own.

Monica B.

Yelp
The food was so-so. The restaurant is in a small quaint house. The bar is located on the first floor and the stairs leading to the second floor tables are steep, uneven and very dimIy lit at night. I took my elderly mother to this restaurant a few weeks ago and when walking down the stairs as we were leaving, she tripped and both of us almost fell. It was a scary incident. So be forewarned about this hazard.

Yelp
This is my must not miss spot inLittle Rock. Inventive delicious menu, warm radiant ambiance, great beer and wine selection.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Everything was delicious, came out in a timely manner, and really made our evening here. I loved my drink Bartali's Secret. It was perfectly balanced with all the right ingredients. The highlight of the meal for me was the bacon covered dates with goat cheese. Our server, Aiesha, was right one point with suggesting to add the goat cheese to it. For $1.50 upcharge, it was fully worth the add. My lamb chop found itself more on my birth mother's plate than my own! I loved it so much, but she kept taking bites - I had to tell her no! lol She enjoyed her goulash, but she couldn't finish it because she ate half of my meal. I am not complaining, but I wish I could have had the chance to enjoy more than what I did! The Simply Leah was great. It was very filling. I think this was a great salad choice, though I will admit, the other salads looked wonderful, too. The ending was our Chocolate Salami. It was not literally chocolate in salami, but I think they concept of it was delish. It was chocolate with a type of cream. We completed killed it. The entire experience here exceeds 5 stars. Everyone was so nice, price was right on point, and I feel this is somewhere you could come and enjoy more than just on a special occasion if you are trying to take budget conscience. If I could find one downside, parking is basically non-existent, but it isn't far away. Park on the street and you should be good to go. The restaurant is located inside an old house from the turn of the 20th century. Check it out and see what I mean!

Yelp
THREE RBI HOME RUN TO TAKE THE LEAD! This place rocks! I colleague took me to dinner here while I was in Little Rock on business. It's a small restaurant with crisp, clean lines and has a patio in addition to an upstairs. This place is like a meat-eater's hall of fame. We started with the meat board and man, when I tell you it was impressive, I'm not pulling your chain. It had house made smoked turkey, Hungarian sausage, bratwurst, pecan-smoked pork belly, country Terrine, liver pâté and an assortment of breads, cheeses, and small pickles. This was crazy good for starters. I ordered the pantry burger and it was fantastic. It was a 1/2-pound patty with cheddar cheese cooked perfectly with a homemade buttered bun. I had the Brussel sprouts as a side, and they were good as well. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Went to The Pantry Crest after our visit to the Clinton Presidential Center (based on Yelp reviews, hours, cuisine...) Apparently we were the 1st customers of the day. 1st sat outside on nice patio, however found it a bit too chilly to enjoy a meal. Waiter was attentive but a bit too drama driven. When we asked about happy hour offers, he was very vague and only offered drink specials. He did not mention any food options, we had to ask him again when he returned. We moved indoors. That was not an issue which was good. The wine I asked about and what he offered were very different. I requested information on Sauvignon Blanc and he returned to our table with Pinot Grigio ?? We ordered the deviled truffle eggs which lived up to their hype. 4 servings that we quickly devoured. We also ordered the liver pate which was outstanding. Found it odd however, that when the waiter offered additional toast points to finish our pate, we found a $.75 charge on our bill. I ordered Schnitzel (with the brown mushroom sauce) and hubby ordered hungarian sausage. Both came with spatzle. While my schnitzel was breaded and very tasty the brown sauce lacked flavor. Oddly the mushrooms were cooked perfectly but the actual sauce was bland. Spatzle was as expected, neither great nor bad, just spatzle. Hubby's sausage was very good. All ground pork and very tasty ! We declined dessert but the options looked good. Overall a bit pricey for the meal, but happy to have tried The Pantry Crest and may choose again if we find ourselves in Little Rock.

Yelp
Four of us had a lovely dinner last night. The waitress was née but so nice. We were grateful for her working. We had the Weiner Schnitzel and Jager Schnitzel. All four dinners were wonderfully prepared. The prices were definitely good for the large portions. I only wish the could open a restaurant in Victoria Texas. Highly recommend this nice restaurant!!!

Yelp
I've experimented with the menu here and have some dos and donts. I have mistaken the large charcuterie and small and been disappointed. The large is meats and cheeses. It's not what I had hoped but I did enjoy the small one with fruits and cheeses. The salmon is a great dish here. I love the lasagna as well. I also try and get the special bowl when I go. They never disappoint. I personally don't recommend the brats as entrees because they're fairly small dishes and I don't get full. I love this place for the atmosphere mostly and drinks and desert - CHEESECAKE is a must!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
What a gem in Little Rock. Great food, great atmosphere, great cocktails. Charcuterie board was delicious, as was the lasagna. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Very nice place. Cold cider, tasty brats and kraut, reminded me of my grandmother's. I'd definitely return.

Yelp
The WLR Pantry couldn't accommodate our group of 13 on this date but management there took great care of us by making a reservation for us at their Hillcrest location! A+ for The Pantry. The first of our group were seated upstairs as we arrived in ones & twos. Good service. Our guy apparently had the whole 2nd floor! But he was comfortable with a big group and various combinations of tickets. Our end of the table had several appetizers- signature bacon-wrapped dates (yum), creamy truffle deviled eggs (melt in your mouth), and Delicious pate (okay!). We chose various German dishes & sides (tasty potatoes & awesome sauerkraut!) and enjoyed the ample "just...right" grilled romaine with seared salmon addition. The Caesar dressing was Perfecto! We had to-go boxes for an additional meal - Bonus! We did have a delay in getting our checks (see above - waiter busy) but the follow-through at that point was great. We Will Be Back. Nice atmosphere (lively = loud for seniors). Full bar. On-street parking.

Yelp
This place is great: it was easy to get a table on a Saturday night- no idea why?!?! Good craft beer and cocktail selection. We had the fish and frites, jager schnitzel (pan seared) and a side of brussels. The sauces were stand out: the mushroom gravy on the schnitzel and the tartar sauce with the fish were both stars of the dishes. Service was great and attentive. We finished off with the mysterious chocolate salami, which is really just a stacked ice cream sandwich with soft cookie/brownie concoctions that they apparently roll into a big log and then slice (thus salami). It was delicious and dark chocolaty. Prost!

Alex K.

Yelp
I've been here 3 or 4 times and have had a great experience every time. The dishes I am familiar with like steak were cooked to perfection. The German dishes I wasn't familiar with that I decided to try were amazingly delicious. My wife loved the cocktails. I loved the bacon wrapped dates appetizer. My mouth is watering as I write this review. Haven't had anything I didn't like here. Atmosphere is great as well since it's in what I'm guessing is an old house. If there's a wait when you get there, there's a bar less than 100 yards down the street. We put our names down and then walked to the bar and had a beer until I got a text that our table was ready and then walked right back. Go try it!

Athos S.

Yelp
Not my style of food, but I saw really beautiful things there , I could come back and give the pantry another opportunity
google avatar

Pat R.

Yelp
This has become my go-to spot when I visit Little Rock. It starts with a friendly bartender who knows how to make proper cocktails. My Manhattan was perfectly proportioned and gently stirred to make it cold without getting cloudy. The fish and frites were as good as any I've had in London, and the Brussels sprouts were flavorful with just a hint of crunch. Everything here, from the service to the food, is spot on.
google avatar

Hunter R.

Yelp
The Pantry is our favorite restaurant in Little Rock. Great service, delicious menu with seasonal rotations and reasonable drinks. The homemade ricotta is absolutely delicious and is served with warm grilled ciabatta bread and the truffle deviled eggs have a unique and smooth flavor. We get both every time we go. They have a variety of filling dinner salads and traditional European favorites. I can go to The Pantry and still maintain my healthy eating because of their dinner salads. They also have hearty favorites for meat and potato lovers.
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots in LR. Place is good with a very nice and hipster atmosphere, the service is good, and the place is diverse and mostly with a very educated crowd. If you are from a big city, you will enjoy this place. They have pretty decent food and a variety of cocktails and beers, plus good music. Downside no parking, but there are plenty of spaces around to park. I recommend the flatbreads and lasagna. Salads are great too.
google avatar

Corey C.

Yelp
Firstly the dining experience of this establishment is second to none. The atmosphere is a traditional European bistro. Dark and cozy with tea lights on the table. Neat vibes! The selection was impressive with menu items inspired by traditional national dishes from all over Europe. The menu felt right. Not too many off-the-wall choices, but just the right amount of selection. Something for everyone! The food was well prepared. Each dish was presented with care to be both appealing to the eye and the stomach. This journey, I tried the Jäger Schnitzel. It was superb! Make sure you ask for the cabbage and sauerkraut! This restaurant serves great, European dishes in a cozy, quiet neighborhood that will leaving you full and completely satisfied. MUST TRY!!

Yelp
How have I not reviewed Pantry Crest?? Ok - all day Monday Happy Hour, delicious appetizers, great service, and really nice, cool relaxed yet classy space. Oh, the appetizers you ask? The fries come on a huge plate with curry ketchup and something white, the brussel sprouts are to die for, and the cheese spaetzl, baked bacon-wrapped dates, and house made ricotta are standouts as well. It's German food, so lots of cheese, lots of potatoes, and more than a few dishes that sound like dessert but wind up being meat (Shnitzel, anyone?) I could come here every night for a quick Happy Hour drink and a handful of appetizers, but the proper dinner food is also amazing. My personal favorite is the special "Rustic Bowl," but everything I've had here has been absolutely delicious. My runner up I think is that Shnitzel. The name makes me chuckle because of my fifth-grade sense of humor, but just the memory of that first forkful gets me hungry every time! A heads-up though: the parking, like much of Hillcrest, is awful. Really awful, so plan ahead a bit. It's also a smaller building, so while it's a really fantastic place to bring a group of ten or so, it's a good idea to call ahead just to make sure there's a big table open ;)

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Best restaurant in all of Central Arkansas. Great food, customer service, and environment.
google avatar

Jeff R.

Yelp
Loved this little place. It's a small joint, a refurbished house I believe, so parking is minimal. Once inside it's quaint and the service friendly. I had an appetizer, the pantry board, as my meal and it was FABULOUS. Almost every part of it, from the cheeses to the duck liver pate is made fresh in-house and it's an amazing experience. Would definitely return.
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
Just an awesome find. I was looking for an interesting place to get dinner, and boy did I find it! Interesting German and Eastern European fare, with a decent selection of beers; it's sort of a mod-gastropub in the best sense of that term. The Czech potato dumplings and roasted Brussels sprouts were amazing. The pickled vegetables were a great palate cleanser, and the Medite salad with chicken that I had was fresh, tasty and generously proportioned. Definitely the best food and most interesting place I ate while in Little Rock.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants in Little Rock. Especially for the price. Their menu features inventive twists on old world German classics and delivers big on for foodie choices and creative cocktails that were always craving finding in Little Rock. I have yet to be disappointed with an order. The Schnitzel is delicious and specials are always a good choice. The environment is trendy without the pretentiousness you can sometimes fear in "it" establishments. Pantry Crest is a great place to bring out of town guests who need to be convinced of the rise lf Little Rock's food scene.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best kitchens in Little Rock, AR. I stop by every time I visit the city. I like the extended hours, the service and I love the Kale and Couscous Salad as well as other dishes!

Yelp
Incredible, INCREDIBLE lasagna!!!!! My friends had the schnitzel, lamb, and pantry burger. ALL PHENOMENAL!!!!! We also ordered literally 4 appetizers. Brussel sprouts, fries, deviled eggs, and bacon dates. Just an incredible dining experience. Loved it!!!

Yelp
Always excellent service and amazing food at the Pantry Crest. This time I tried thr Rustic Bowl and was not dissapointed, fresh ingredients with knowledgeable wait staff and great drink selections. This is one of the best restaurants in Little Rock. This is my go to place, it reminds me of places I frequent when working in DC.
google avatar

Jerrica R.

Yelp
Y'all, this place does not disappoint! You see all the posts about the lasagna? They aren't fibbing. That dish is life changing. It really is food-gasim. We ordered that along with 2 other items. I had the urban dish special and it was really well done. I loved the portion sizes. Perfect for a dinner meal and no left overs, mainly cause they taste too damn good. They have seating on a 2nd floor, patio and 1st floor bar area. It was kinda slow when we arrived but the staff was spot on. One of the manager type looking people, did not seem pleased to see us. He just kept staring at us. That was the only bad thing I would complain about. It looks like a kid friendly place, but I didn't see kid items on the menu. Felt kinda fancy, but I saw a few families eating. Maybe more of a date night place.

Yelp
Love the Pantry Crest! This place has become my favorite restaurant in Hillcrest. The food is great and the service is excellent! Keep up the good work!
