My food was delicious! Some of the best food I’ve had in Santa Fe! They seated quickly, served quick, food was fresh, drinks were always replenished, and had a great atmosphere. I thought it would be more relaxed at 2pm on a Thursday, but everyone seemed to be there and enjoy their food. The servers were so polite and helpful. The restaurant has such a fun vibe of music, art, and cleanliness! Would eat here again if I visit! The stuffed French toast with corn flakes on top was not something I’ve ever had before. It was divine!

Google
The best food I had in Santa Fe. I had the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good! I decided to sit at the counter since I was by myself, but table seating is also an option. My only complaint is that I waited a long time for my food. It was to the point where customers who came after me got their food before me and even finished before my food came out. However, the staff did acknowledge this after I brought it to their attention and made it right which I appreciated! Definitely recommend the pantry for one of the better food options in Santa Fe.

Came for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. Friendly service and casual atmosphere. Staff knew the regular customers. Food was well prepared and fresh. Recommend!!

The food was delicious. 😋 Both red and green chile is just the right kind of spicy! We had a chicken wrap and added Buffalo sauce 🔥 frito pie and a combination plate 🔥🔥everything was great, and our waiter was very attentive! Our new favorite spot in Santa Fe! We loved how the menu had variety.

My daughter and I land in Santa Fe, rent a car and off we go exploring. She's already done the research and this place ranks pretty high so let's go! From the outside it looks like any other nondescript building but go in and BAM! it's bustling and a good vibe noisy. It's also small and cozy (think lulu's in larryville). We get a table for 2 and before we open our menus water arrives and drink order taken-WOW! there's alot of action going on with servers moving to and from with orders being taken and delivered. Folks! If your server is busy another server delivers your food! No waiting!!!!! ❤️ this! The menu offers something for everyone! I order the huevos rancheros with double beans (not a rice fan). 8 minutes (I timed it) later another server brings our piping hot (hooray) food. The beans are not mashed-they're still whole in a mushy sort of beany thing. I trepeditiously try a spoonful expecting the beans to be "al dente" (ugh) BUT NO! the whole beans melt in my mouth and they have kind of a cilantro and smoky taste. I hurry and eat mine before daughter asks to try them. (Hey, it's every man for himself). The huevos rancheros is divine! My over easy eggs contribute enough to the whole entree and they're just the right amount of breakfast spicy! Great atmosphere for a little place! Lots of Hispanic decor that's cheerful! Service was excellent and the prices are reasonable. I didn't have a margarita as it was morning however, had I been with BFF I'm pretty sure we would have had at least one. Besides, daughter and I were off to hike and I seriously didn't want to fall off a 100 foot cliff into a ravine. All in all: 5 stars for everything! Little place with big offerings!

On our getaway to Santa Fe June 12- 14, my husband and I chose a little restaurant to visit for breakfast on that Friday morning. The Pantry. We enjoyed it so much, we went again Saturday morning on our way out of town. The menu shows “OG” Pantry, I had to ask what the OG was, it stands for ORIGINAL. They have two other locations in town as well. The Pantry Rio, downtown in the plaza and The Pantry Dos down by the Santa Fe community college. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and I ordered the Blue Corn Cinnamon Pancakes. I had a small taste of my husband’s chicken fried steak and have to say that was THE most tender, flavorful Chicken Fried Steak I have ever eaten. In fact that’s what I ordered Saturday for my breakfast. The blue corn pancakes were light and delectable. When we return to Santa Fe, the Pantry is definitely on the list for a revisit. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is jam-packed and bustling, so if you want quiet- don’t go. The staff is over the top friendly and a well greased machine in service!! To see how they operate throughout the restaurant is amazing. We never lacked a refill in our drinks and we were checked on enough to feel valued and well taken care of, but not so much to feel bothered.

Google
After a long day of driving to Santa Fe New Mexico, we googled " best Mexican food near our location," and The OG pantry was the first restaurant listed so we popped over to check it out. The first thing we noticed was that the tortilla chips had to be local and either made on the premises or close by because they were thick and flavorful without a ton of salt on them. The salsa was chunky and full of interesting flavor without being too spicy. Two of us shared a massive plate of nachos, and were quite pleased with the hearty portions of chicken, thick layers of cheese, fresh tomatoes, and whole pinto, not refried, beans. The grandkids got a corn dog with french fries and French toast with bacon, as they serve breakfast all day. The entire restaurant was spotlessly clean as were the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and patient while we perused the menu. The next time we are in this area, we will definitely head back to the OG pantry in Santa Fe, New Mexico so that we may indulge in more of their authentic, New Mexican style, Mexican food.

Google
Absolutely the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. I came with a group of 19 people and the service was fast and my food came out perfectly. The pricing is affordable and worth it for what you get. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

Jacob M.

Yelp
The quality of the food and the service cannot be beat. Will definitely go back when I'm in Santa Fe again

Yelp
Amazing classic recipes and excellent service. I eat here 1-2 times per week! One of the few place you can get corned beef in a handheld burrito.

Yelp
Holy cats. This is the place to get breakfast in Santa Fe! Service was as friendly and personable as possible. We were sitting there watching the staff greet and talk to all the locals...Well, then they started talking to us like we were locals. Water and coffee filled constantly. Just couldn't be better service. And the food, also excellent. Had the breakfast sandwich. Oh so good. Bread was good. Meat was good. Just so good. If you are in Santa Fe, go here for your first breakfast. Then you can schedule in your next visit.

Yelp
We came for a late breakfast and decided to sit at the counter right across from the kitchen. It was really fun to watch them pump out so much food so quickly. We had fun figuring out all the different dishes coming out of the window. Each one of them huge in size. If you go home hungry you're not doing it right. I had a omelette and pantry fries. Huge portion and hit the spot. Our coffee was never empty and the service was great. Super attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
Cute little spot! I went with the chilaqulies and they were amazing! I had to get the green Chile and it was so tasty! Very friendly service. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

Yelp
If you like corned beef hash, this is some of the best!! We have been several times when we visit Santa Fe and just love this place! There can be a wait, but it is worth it! We have enjoyed everything we have been served here, the corned beef is some of the best I've had...and I've had a lot! The place is kind of small but the service has always been excellent!! We will continue to return on our visits!!

Yelp
Quick and friendly service. Good food options. Casual vibe. Would recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Truly my very favorite place to eat in New Mexico. Great food, warm atmosphere, plenty of free parking in the rear.

Yelp
The portion sizes here are always super generous, which is nice because as good as the food is having some leftovers available for late night munching is a plus. The breakfast is down home cooking with a nice Santa Fe spin of course. Inside it's pretty crowded unfortunately, which makes for a crazy loud atmosphere with lots of chairs bumping into yours as people come and go. So I prefer to go in the off hours for a more pleasant dining experience. The prices are about average for Santa Fe but you get your monies worth.

Yelp
Home cooked NM food! Started out with creamy queso & hearty salsa. Both were top notch. Guac was solid but the queso and salsa stood out. Salsa is thick with a roasted flavor. I would have been sold on just this. However the combo plate with chili relleno, chicken enchilada and brisket taco were exceptional! Smothered in green/red chili sauce that was so rich. Everything was screaming in flavor. Some of the best Mexican food I've had.

Yelp
The Pantry is a good little breakfast and lunch spot where the Santa Fe locals eat. I had the pancakes, breakfast potatoes, and a side of bacon. The pancakes weren't anything special and were just fine; I didn't finish them (3/5). The breakfast potatoes were cooked perfectly and had a surprise smoky flavoring that I really enjoyed (5/5). The side of bacon comes with two pieces and was thick-cut and flavorful (4/5). I shared a cinnamon roll with my other half, and it blew us away. It only comes in one size, which is large, and is completely delicious (5/5). Is definitely shareable. Overall, a yummy breakfast I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu in the future.

Yelp
We had the food delivered and they changed the order without consulting us and missed an item. The food itself was honestly mediocre at best. About all any of us could say in its favor was that it's better than Chili's. The fajitas were dry. The burrito and soapapilla were mediocre (judging only on flavor since texture can change in transit, also the burrito was too salty). Maybe the normal chef was on vacation or something because I can't for the life of me understand how this place could have 4.5 stars.

Yelp
Great down to earth New Mexican cuisine in a super casual setting with great art on the walls and friendly, fast service. Price are super reasonable and they have great daily specials. Chips and Guacamole - they have the "good" tasting chips, and guacamole was excellent. I also really love the roasted salsa. Tuesday special was pan fried pork tacos which were THe BOMB! served with a spicy sauce that has more shredded pork inside. My friend had brisket tacos which also tasted amazing and come with large avocado slices. Overall, new favorite spot to hit the spot.

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday brunch around 10:15am and it was packed! As a visitor, that's a good sign that the food is good! After a 5 minute wait I was seated and ordered. The service was prompt, wait staff were kind and the ambience is quaint. The food was amazing!! 10/10! Will definitely return!

Yelp
Had a great early dinner with wonderful service and great ambiance brought in with the live music. The food was quick to come out and delicious. Frijoles de olla and tasty brisket tacos and red chile had good heat to it while the green was savory. Definitely coming back anytime I'm in town.

Christy H.

Yelp
The Pantry never disappoints. I usually stick with my favorite New Mexican dish- Chile Relleno, Christmas and will even eat it for breakfast. The batter is perfect, no too heavy. The sauce is medium but I grew up eating green/red chile so it may be hot for some. My son loves the giant asada burrito so much he begs me to bring one home in the ice chest (it's a 7 hour drive)! My husband is a chef and is hard to impress, he can't get enough of the green chile stew. They have a ton of options for anyone. The staff is great. There is often a wait during ski season but it's typically quick.
google avatar

Yelp
Was recommended by a local to come here and was very pleased with my fish tacos. I was so full that I couldn't finish the rice and beans. We came during a full lunch service and waited 10-15 mins to be seated. We waited around 15-20 mins for our food. The bathroom were clean, and there was plenty of parking.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Being one of the most rated restaurants in the area led us to select this spot. The service was practically non-existent as we were tucked in a corner of the place and waited quite a bit before actually seeking out our server. The food was fine and the ambiance was ok. Would we return? Probably not

Yelp
Pantry Restaurant was our first food stop in Santa Fe, and it certainly lived up to the hype. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for breakfast the next day. The restaurant is a small but charming and cozy place adorned with beautiful New Mexico landscape paintings and photography. The owner was amiable and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. **Dinner:** Our first visit was for dinner. Hubby ordered the steak and enchiladas with refried pinto beans and rice. I ordered the fish tacos, which also came with rice and beans. We were both impressed with the taste and portions of the food. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portions were just right. **Breakfast:** The next morning, we returned for breakfast. I went with the traditional breakfast meal that included two eggs, two meats, and grits. My hubby got the traditional breakfast with pork adovada and black coffee. We also shared a cinnamon roll. **Thoughts:** The traditional breakfast was excellent; nothing was bland. The Adovada was terrific--if you're like us and don't know what Adovada is, it's New Mexico-style pork with red chiles. We absolutely loved it, and I ended up finishing whatever my husband didn't. We would definitely order it again and share it. This place is doable for gluten-free and dairy-free folks. **Additionally, we started our meal with chips and salsa, which came with homemade guac and queso. The guac was delicious, and the salsa had the perfect consistency--not too runny, with nice chunks of ingredients. Though I didn't try the queso, my hubby said he loved it. They really should bottle that guac! **Shout out to the hard-working staff:** They were incredibly attentive, refilling our drinks as soon as they were finished and clearing away our dishes promptly. When they weren't assisting us, they were busy cleaning, sweeping, and tidying up the windows and tables.

Yelp
It's up the street from the El Rey Court. Good local restaurant. Food was quick and as expected. Can handle large parties, too. Probably better for breakfast.

Yelp
great sopilla Big! Great Food and casual atmosphere. Get reservations it is often very busy..

Yelp
Ona road trip from Dallas and of course found this gem on Yelp! Portion sizes were phenomenal. Food was delicious. I was a tiny bit worried that it may be too spicy, as I know New Mexican food can pack some heat! It was the right amount of heat, for sure! Presentation was great too! The restaurant is bigger than it looks, but we still had to wait for a bit for a table. Service was great, even better if you are fluent in Spanish. Definitely don't miss!

Yelp
Whether you're coming for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, get here before the peak times. We arrived for dinner at around 5:30 and were seated right away. But by the time 6 rolled around, the place was packed, and there was a wait. They serve the perfect portion sizes. I would know since I can never finish a meal and I did here. Cantarito. Good light flavor, but the price is a little steep for all the ice that we had versus liquid. Carne Adovada. The meat was tender and with great flavor. It was a little spicy, but not something I couldn't handle with a little water. Baby Back Ribs. My sister would kill to have the pantry's baby back ribs every day, and honestly, I would too. For being a Mexican restaurant, they sure know how to cook ribs. These babies were tender, and the barbecue sauce was spectacular.

Rossana V.

Yelp
Excellent food! Excellent service! Can't wait to try everything on the menu! Brisket tacos were divine!
google avatar

Liz F.

Yelp
This was my first time at the Pantry Restaurant. My sisters were with me and one of them had been coming here for years. She said we were lucky to not have to wait, because the line to get in is usually out the door -- it's that good. The kitchen cooks the food from scratch each day. The sisters had a combo plate with lots of Santa Fe favorites and the other sister had a taco bowl. It all looked so good and I could tell they made in house fresh tortillas for the taco bowl. I had french toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. It was really good! I could tell the griddle was seasoned well from the great tasting french toast. They serve breakfast all day. Don't forget to leave room for the home made sopapillas with honey. I saw the steam coming off the sopapilla when my sister stabbed it to let the steam out. The ambiance is casual and there are lots of beautiful photos of surrounding beautiful areas to visit and or hike at.

Yelp
This is the New Mexican food I was waiting for when traveling back! I've missed the food so much and was greeted with the same amazing flavors I had been longing for! Started out with the chips and dips. The chips were crispy, salty, and delicious. The app came with 3 dips: a queso blanco, guacamole, and salsa. All with amazing flavor. The queso was my favorite. For the main course, I had the combo plate with a chili relleno, chicken enchilada, and brisket taco. Christmas of course! Each item was so flavorful. And the red and green chili held up to the New Mexico standards. Finished off the meal with a sopapilla the size of my face! The next time I'm in town, I'm definitely coming back!
google avatar

Takao N.

Yelp
This is a very popular eatery among locals and tourists. We waited for 25 minutes and it was worth the wait. We had a chicken fried steak with red and green sauce. That is different from gravy sauce we normally get in Texas and it was very good. Not too spicy which we like. The side dishes of mashed potatoes and steam veggies were also wonderful.
google avatar

Ric B.

Yelp
Stop here for lunch while I'm Santa Fe. Saturday of Labor Day weekend was very busy. Order a crispy chicken wrap and wife had the pantry burger. Large portions for sure with a side. Local diner/cafe that's been here a long time. Recommend it.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly Pantry Restaurant's food surprised me quite a bit! I didn't expect to like New Mexican cuisine because why not just eat Mexican food instead but this place was pretty great. Came on a weekday with a party of two and waited around 10 minutes for a table which is not too bad. We ordered right when we sat down and the food came out quickly which was great! - Brisket Enchilada - I thought the brisket would be quite dry but the meat itself was actually pretty moist which I appreciate. The sauce was a bit spicy which I did not expect. The star of the dish, however, was most definitely the rice which was probably the best Mexican rice I've had - it was slightly spicy and felt like it could be a dish alone. - Fish Tacos - I liked this dish more out of the two as they packed it with so many different ingredients. For the first time, it felt like this was a taco that was very worth eating as it took many bites to finish and I appreciated that they double tortilla-ed it so that the "stuffing" would not fall out as easily. The salsa was also amazing too, I don't know what they put in here but it was great. Again, the rice was mind-blowing. Overall, pretty solid eat in Santa Fe and I can definitely understand why it takes the first spot as the most reviewed restaurant in the City. Also when you first enter into the restaurant it looks like there's going to be no seats but don't worry, there's a whole section in the back full of family-style tables.

Yelp
FAV spot in Santa Fe while in town for work. There are multiple locations and all are great. Locals frequent here. I ate here 3-4x a week for 10 months working in town. One of the best spots for green Chile. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros & the Santa Fe brisket every time. The brisket was served with hot green chile on top which was a unique and delicious twist. I would order delivery 90% of the time and it was just as yummy as in person.
google avatar

Antony R.

Yelp
Delicious food, the Monday special steak tacos were an interesting twist being served on sopapilla rather than traditional taco shells and it worked great, allowing for smothering with beans lettuce and chilli as well as sour cream and guacamole. The combination plate had a clear winner for me, the Chile relleno was amazing, nothing against the beef taco and chicken enchilada but for me it was the star of a high quality selection. There is a reason this restaurant has been serving customers for 75 years, it is amazing food at a very competitive price. I certainly enjoyed a small part of the seven tons of green Chile they serve every year!
google avatar

Kevin O.

Yelp
Great food. Great service and great prices. What else can you ask for? Chili rellanos were great and they make an outstanding burger

B T.

Yelp
I'd really love to give them 5 stars. Wait was shorter than they said, service team was awesome and the food was great! Only issue was a hair in one of the entrees. So we sent it back but they never remade the item. So we had to leave without that being served.
google avatar

Ania K.

Yelp
In business for over 75 years! That itself is a reason to visit. The restaurant features a lot of beautiful & local art and photography. I always appreciate that. The service is warm and there's a lot of locals who are regulars which just confirms how great this place is. Serving breakfast (all day), traditional & New Mexican, sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, comfort foods and New Mexican traditions. I couldn't pass up the hard tacos because they happen to be my favorite Mexican treat. Perfectly crispy, both the beef and chicken were very flavorful, rice and beans were cooked just right, and the salsa offered a nice kick. Come see for yourself why they've been around for so many years.

Teresa M.

Yelp
The atmosphere is very retro diner - everyone loved their food, except for the person that ordered the huevos rancheros. Said it was the worst he has had. And he HAS tried lots of them around the country! I loved my pork stew! we would all go back again, even the guy who had the huevos...said he would order something else...it looked great!

Yelp
The Pantry Restaurant was a place I had bookmarked the night before my daughter's and my trip up to Colorado through Santa Fe. This was a really good brunch find especially since I had never before heard of it. However, it has been helmed as "Santa Fe's Meeting Place," established in 1948. FOOD The rim of my coffee cup barely seemed clean as it had round spots of the black drink all around it. The coffee ($3.25) itself was super weak. I had the breakfast sandwich ($12.50). In New Mexican terms, this "sandwich" was more like a quesadilla as "scrambled eggs, bacon, pantry fries, chopped green chile, and cheese" mixed and wedged into a tortilla folded over once and sliced into two. It was absolutely delicious with the green salsa which was mild for me, but might be moderately spicy to others. My daughters begged for the avocado toast that was not on the kids menu. Lol. I obliged since they were starving and school just got out for the summer. One kid had scrambled eggs with fruit. The other had sunny-side up eggs and potatoes. No complaints there! SERVICE The service was nice, but it was only half the time that any of the bussers and waiters actually looked me in the eyes. The hostess was extremely friendly and attentive that morning of 5/25/2023. We were seated right away which I greatly appreciated with two starving kiddos. AMBIANCE Parking was free. Right away I noticed a few benches outdoors. A few days later when I drove by, I saw how crowded it was on Memorial Day. I noticed how cozy the place was too. There were multiple-sized tables. The restrooms were mostly clean - gender neutral. PRICE A little high. Bear in mind Santa Fe in general is one of the most expensive cities in the Land of Enchantment. However, my children received their drinks for free. That was much appreciated. TIP Kids menus are available. MY RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 3 | Price: 3

Yelp
Epic regional cuisine and just a fantastic place for food. Unpretentious. Sit at the counter for a quick easy delicious meal. It would be five stars but for nighttime service which has gone down the tubes lately. I have actually left and canceled orders a couple of time because the service was so slow. Lots of little girls working. Not great. Go during the day, that is when their long-time waitstaff is on deck and things are much smoother.

Yelp
This was a great lunch stop when I visited MeowWolf this week. I was looking for a local Mexican lunch and this could not have been more ideal. I ordered the Chile relleno with red and green sauce. It was honestly the best I've ever had. Perfect spice level, nice melty cheese without being overwhelming, light batter, and a nice, mild smoky flavor to the pepper. The beans and rice were also good. Service was super fast and friendly. I would definitely come back here again!
google avatar

Leanne M.

Yelp
The brisket taco is AMAZING. The brisket was perfectly cooked. I was so full , yet I wanted to keep eating more of the meat. Moist and super tasty The enchilada had excellent chicken flavour. The red and green sauce complimented flavour of the chicken with the cheese Would eat here again Everyone was so nice

Yelp
When I visited New Mexico, the Pantry was one of the best restaurants that I went to. The place fills up pretty quickly, so I'd plan to wait or come at an off-time. In terms of ambiance, the Pantry has the perfect cozy diner feel that you see in the movies - it made me nostalgic! I came with two friends and we sat at the bar table, which was really comfortable. We got to see the cooks in action, which is always exciting. In terms of food, my friends and I split the Blue Corn pancakes and I got the club sandwich with fries. I'm not the biggest pancake person, but the blue corn pancakes were absolutely phenomenal. They weren't too sugary but packed with the right amount of flavor. The pancakes were soft (but not mushy), which is sometimes hard to find at diners. The club sandwich was also fantastic. The portions here are large so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. This place is just as good as everyone says. Worth the wait!

Yelp
Always a great meal. Warm & welcoming. That Pantry Burger w/ curly fries, both smothered w/ red chile

Yelp
In our 3 day stay in Santa Fe, the Pantry was our overall favorite restaurant. It had a great diner vibe, very nice staff, a mix of tourists and locals, the best cup of coffee, and a phenomenal breakfast. My wife ordered the Chilaquiles and I had quite a few bites of it as well as it was a generously portioned meal. The green and red chili sauce was spicy and delightfully flavored. I had the Lindo's scramble and the smoked tomato salsa was delicious. If I would have had a shot of vodka it would have made a perfect Bloody Mary. I could eat the salsa as its own dish They grind the coffee fresh for each brewed pot. This is VERY unique for almost all restaurants nowadays, but the extra effort made for a great cup of coffee. We arrived at 10:15 AM on a Sunday and were seated immediately. When we left around 11:30 AM there were a few people waiting for tables. The inside of the restaurant was like a nice cozy southwestern vibe diner. The wait staff were very nice and they refilled water and coffee often. I normally don't buy souvenirs but I made an exception here and got a turquoise coffee mug to remember our favorite place. If you are nearby, it is worth stopping in here for a great southwestern breakfast.

Yelp
The food was really good. I had Huevos Rancheros (Sorry, no pic). My daughter ordered the Stuffed French Toast, and husband ordered the Chile Rillenos omelette. My daughter and I shared our meals with each other, and her French toast was heavenly. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the breakfast choices here. The food is all good. Prices are reasonable for the portions. They were really packed on the Saturday morning that we went,, but the service was great and the atmosphere had a small town feel. I'd say get there by 9:30 am if you are eating breakfast on a weekend.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall it doesn't get better than this if you're looking for a homey New Mexican meal on a night out. Unusually for New Mexican restaurants, the red chile is the way to go here. Incredibly deep flavor, not the stuff that's "just hot" and nothing else. I'd also recommend ordering sopapillas for desert. They're every bit as good here as El Pinto's used to be before it went downhill. Portions are satisfying, cost is reasonable. Servers were positive, friendly and helpful.

Yelp
One of the best meals in Santa Fe! I love chilaquiles and order any chance I can. These were incredible. We split the blue corn cinnamon pancakes and wow. Just wow! This was a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Service was great. Lots of locals. Just wish I could get this breakfast closer to home!

Yelp
A Must Visit! This restaurant has become one of my regulars when I'm in town. This trip we had our dog so we opted to grab breakfast to go. Even to go, you can tell the items were made with love. We like to split a sweet and savory item, so we ordered the stuffed pancakes and the breakfast burrito Christmas style.

Yelp
This place was hopping when we showed up on a Sunday morning. Was told we'd have a 15 minute wait but the turnaround was much quicker and we were seated within five minutes. Got the smothered breakfast burrito with chorizo and a side of pantry potatoes. it was huge and delicious. This was the first time that I ever got breakfast potatoes, that I didn't need to add ketchup or hot sauce. They were flavorful as is. The hostess and server were friendly and service was quick. Would definitely come here again.

Yelp
Pantry Restaurant is an insanely delicious New Mexican restaurant located on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico. I think I had one of the best meals of the year here when I stopped in. The place is super cool looking just like an old highway diner with a very retro design, and a classic diner bar with an open kitchen design. When we got there, there was a wait since we were a larger group of 6. No problem, we waited outside and they handed us a buzzer. This place is definitely very popular with tourists and locals alike so be prepared for a wait. I decided to go with one of the breakfast specials of the day which were the breakfast enchiladas. I got them verde/green. I also shared a cinnamon roll with my friends. I'll start with the cinnamon roll because honestly that may have been the best one I've ever had and I was completely not expecting it to be good. It was smothered in a beautiful cream that made every bite so decadent. It was like eating a cloud. Now for the breakfast enchiladas - there were 2 bacon ones and they came with potatoes and beans. The potatoes were seasoned so amazingly, like no other potatoes I've had before. The beans were spot on. And every bite of the enchilada was perfect. I died and went to heaven, I loved this meal so much. Santa Fe was a super cool city as well so highly recommend making the trip out there and if you, stopping by here is a necessity.
