The prices are high because of the location. Drink pricing is odd, the latter, coffee and milk are all $5 each? The dish portions are big but the taste is just average.

Kayla Fuka

Google
My husband and I got coffee here and it wasn’t the best. I got an iced coffee with carmel and oat milk, but the coffee seemed watered down and not very flavorful. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant but I would not get coffee here again. They do have an extensive food menu if interested!

Maria Bergenhem

Google
Amazing spot for food, coffee and other drinks at the base of the mountain! Their breakfast sandwich should have all other breakfast sandwiches steeping with envy-it’s SO GOOD! Double up with bacon and sausage if you want, both are so good here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Super friendly and helpful staff! We got breakfast here every morning before heading out to ski. Also a great spot for apres ski once you’re ready for that!

Paulina Tran

Google
This place is stellar. The food is made to order and huge. It’s all counter service. There are so many food choices. It was hard to choose. The Reuben was messy to eat, but very delicious. The fries were sooo amazing. You can’t beat the views.

Erin Hunter

Google
Excellent service! Caleb, Arden, May & Andrew are the dream team! You’ll love the food, drinks and timeliness of service. They are on top of it! Great place to eat and drink!

Matthew Rodriguez

Google
Counter service style breakfast and lunch with excellent bread and helpful staff

Josh Smith

Google
Had a terrible experience last week and decided to give yall a chance to redeem yourselves. You can’t. So little care in the preparation for food. Bread wasn’t toasted at all. The crab blt has one tomato 2 pieces of thin Sysco bacon no lettuce. Pathetic crab. Busy or not you have employees that can’t execute actual food preparation. Weak, flavorless unloved Disney food that goes along with cheap owners and trash staff.

Kathryn Mills

Google
It was adequate, but probably not a place I would repeat frequently. Prices were high for ordering at counter and not having table service. Seating is crammed together and a bit awkward. Sandwiches all looked freshly made with quality ingredients from what I could see. I ordered the French onion soup and it was one of my least favorite that I’ve had It seems they used purple onions and did not caramelize them before adding broth. The onions were still slightly firm as well. I’ve heard good things about this place, but it left me wanting something else.

Yelp
Every trip to Steamboat for me has to include a stop at The Paramount, and you can tell by my photos from over the years. My favorite sandwich, possibly in the world, is the Prime Rib. Although my favorite move is to split that and a Crab BLT with a friend. They have a tasty Bloody Mary (option to get it spicy) and a great happy hour. Simply one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to.

Ta'keisha R.

Yelp
We had a decent experience. The staff was really friendly and we were able to be seated right away. Our food came out fast and was hot. I ordered eggs, pancakes and potatoes, all were really good. My hubs ordered the Fiji Apple French toast and didn't like it at all. His eggs were also too hard to eat.

Ellen D.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch for a break while skiing. Excellent, creative sandwiches, friendly staff and great service.

Krista H.

Yelp
This place was busy - which is a good sign - but the service was fast and very helpful. I order just an oat milk latte, but was very satisfied with their espresso! They have breakfast and lunch options (so many delicious sandwiches to choose from) and plenty of mixed drinks, beers, wines, and coffee drinks. Highly recommend this spot as a mid day rest for your skiing.

Alice A.

Yelp
Best place on the mountain! Best tasting, best quality, and best value! You won't regret it. Try the steak and eggs, #%^* on a shingle, crab sandwich, all shareable portions that will sustain you for a full day of pow riding!

Ann C.

Yelp
Read all the glowing reviews so walked over for biscuits & gravy to-go. UNREAL when we got it back to the condo - dried up cold "muffin" with cold globby tasteless gravy. So hard couldn't cut, much less chew. Fell apart into a big mess once forced to put a knife & fork to it. Should be ashamed to charge $12, or really any $ for pure slop. Was advertised on menu, too, as "Biscuits & Gravy," but in reality was only 1 (not that we wanted more anyway). Coffee grinds in coffee, too. A true breakfast bust

Nikki S.

Yelp
This is a nice quiet spot to have breakfast, especially if you are staying in the base area. We walked in and sat outside and it was very peaceful. You order inside at the counter and get a number for your table. I was disappointed that they have updated their menu to raise the prices, but I suppose that is pretty consistent with the area. Most breakfast meals will run you $13-$15. We ordered the French Toast, Salmon breakfast sandwich, and Egg BLT. The sandwiches were both excellent. Particularly the egg BLT, which had super fresh veggies and a great balsamic sauce. The French toast was pretty standard, nothing to rave about. Food came out quick, but since you order at the counter don't expect to be checked on. If you need anything after they drop off the food you'll have to head back to the counter and ask.

Chunk-A-Lunk T.

Yelp
Pretty good sandwich but super pricey but expected for steamboat so can't really complain on that

Kristin C.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to grab lunch. It's right on the mountain. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious! The bread they use is to die for! I love their salads and tacos too! Their fries also never disappoint. I also love their lemonade!

Shannon B.

Yelp
Fresh and fast ,big delicious sandwiches!!! The Ruben was fantastic! My husband had the steak and eggs sandwich, he still talks about it ! You won't leave hungry .

Courtney G.

Yelp
Quick stop in for lunch while skiing. Our instructor suggested it and glad he did. Pesto chicken sandwich was bomb and so big. Bread is local and amazing.

Janet D.

Yelp
I'm on the fence with this spot. It's what they serve. I almost need a shower after eating one of their creation. Everything was wet. I was asked how I want my eggs. There shouldn't be no choice but scrambled. I probably chose the worst way to cook the eggs. Over medium. I was annoyed in the end cos every bite I took either a portion of the food would get in my hair, my face or my lap. What's the point? I also have a major aversion to sweet food unless it's a dessert. This has some jam. If you know me you know that would be a hard no. I was busy fending off food trying to attach to my entire person that I honestly was overwhelmed! But then again-its me mostly I guess. It's almost 5 Stars on yelp at a 150 total reviews! It's CLEARLY ME NOT THEM. The inside is really cute. It's at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort. Yes, we stopped on the way down. They're busy. I think I ordered the wrong item. Next time I'm staying away from the Egg BLT. No way in hell this is close to any BLT's I've had in my 9 lives. Well when I get over my PTSD from my fight with this BLT ill stop by again. Ski season is about to end. By no means I'm getting off the encounter with this sandwich unscathed. I probably used three of their napkins and Adam D's too. Every bite I was losing the battle. I had to wipe imaginary blood born out of my fight with this terrible, terrible sandwich. ( my opinion. My experience)

Patrick L.

Yelp
The sandwiches and salad are excellent. The guy behind the counter is an surly jerk. Maybe he should get the hardware out of his Schnozz. He may be happier. Service was bad.

Mike L.

Yelp
Food was not good, had a few items on the menu from soups to breakfast items and kids meals - the best thing was the house cut French fries. Everything else was adequate to bad. Service varied. A couple of the ladies were sweet and helpful, the dude at the counter needs to get a hug or something. But that's a mountain town. Nice location next to lif Overall the food isn't worth the price at all.

Jason B.

Yelp
$2.50 take out fee??? WTF is that. Just ridiculous. I used to love this place. Stop the insanity with fees and charges.

Dan M.

Yelp
Love paramount huge sandwiches and cut fries. A great lunch spot when you're craving a fork and knife sandwich! The team is always cheerful and friendly too.

Becky T.

Yelp
We came here 3 times this week. The food was delicious and arrived really fast (less than 10 mins). The service was mostly excellent also. The owner was working (delivering food, pre-busing tables, pouring water). She was really pleasant and she's running a pretty efficient operation. I would give the restaurant 5 stars except the cashier Pablo. We interacted with him two different days and he was rude both days. He made it seem like we were annoying him or were stupid for asking a question about the bucket table order system. Also, Pablo is probably holding up the whole operation. We waited 15-20 mins each day to order food. Then the food came super fast (less than ten minutes). Please remove Pablo from the cashier position. Your restaurant is outstanding, except for Pablo.

Mary P.

Yelp
Don't bother to go!! None of our orders were correct. Service nonexistent Food was awful There are so many GREAT places to eat in Steamboat. Sister restaurant BRICK is fabulous ! Ambience kinda dirty

Jeff C.

Yelp
Great place slopeside. We had breakfast and lunch here. Great food, super nice staff, reasonably priced.

L B.

Yelp
They are so slow, food is just so so. If there were other options they probably would be out of business. They need another guy at the counter, my great grandma is faster.

Jenn F.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches!! Cozy spot with casual vibe. Had the Reuben and the Roasted Veggie, both delicious. Tomato Basil soup also a winner. Green salad was tasty, but needed a little inspiration (better dressing perhaps).

Matthew M.

Yelp
Amazing for breakfast. Staff is very chill, food is great, easy to pop in grab a quick bite before hitting the slopes.

Joey R.

Yelp
Oh. My. God. This place IS THE PLACE. I went with my family for breakfast and everything seemed pretty good, nothing to write home about, but it was delicious. We returned for lunch a later day and wow am I glad we went back. I wish I could have posted a photo of my sandwich, but it was eaten so quickly, there was nothing left to photograph. The sandwiches they make are PHENOMENAL and truly took my breath away with how amazing it was. Before we left, we bought another sandwich to take home for leftovers as well. My oh my what a gem of a place!

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The food was very good at paramount. I liked that you could order a half liter of wine! We had the veggie sandwich and the cheesesteak. The husbeast didn't like all of the peppers on the cheesesteak but we also didn't ask or clarify. The veggie sandwich was good. I liked that there were mushrooms but would have preferred a portabella. The tomato soup was perfect.

Diana W.

Yelp
Was gonna come here for a cup of joe but had to order something when we saw everyone's table as we walked in to order. Their sandwiches are huge and delicious looking. Ended up getting a grilled cheese sandwich to split even though we weren't remotely hungry. One of the best I've had. Thick buttered bread, gooey cheese. Couldn't even take a clean bite since cheese kept oozing out. Please stop here for a snack or lunch throughout the year

Mari W.

Yelp
Listen, this place is amazing. We ate here 3 times the same week and tried something new every time and literally you cannot go wrong. And if you don't try their fresh cut French fries you are missing out. I can personally recommend either the prime rib sandwich, hazelnut goat cheese salad, or the pesto chicken sandwich. All were divine to the last bite. The brownies are amazing too! Basically, if you don't eat here, you're wrong.

Loni P.

Yelp
We're Steamboat locals and pride ourselves on being a family friendly town. Paramount is the exception to that rule. We recently took our boys and dog up to the base on a lovely, warm day. We had forgotten to bring water and my young boys (8 and 10) decided to go into Paramount to ask for a cup of water. They got denied!!! They were told they would need to buy something in order to get water. Bullsh*t!!! I don't care how good their food is, I'm saddened to say we will NEVER set foot in that establishment again.

Morgan A.

Yelp
Took over 45min to get a single order of sandwich! No heads up and they weren't even busy! Very disappointed in the service!

Lizzy L.

Yelp
The so called "bartender" with the glasses and short brown hair was EXTREMELY rude. I simply asked for a new bloody because the one I had was flavorless. She snapped at me was very aggressive and throwing things around "ILL MAKE YOU A NEW ONE" with complete attitude. I tipped %22 percent and I'm a bartender back home. I cannot believe how she reacted. Do not get drinks here. Food was also incorrect but too scared to say anything because of the reaction I had previously gotten.

Alden G.

Yelp
Consistently the best food at the ski area base. Paramount for breakfast or lunch, Brick for dinner. All in the family...

Carson D.

Yelp
Amazing. Not cheap but best food on mountain. Booze. Coffee. Breakfast. Lunch. They have all you need.

Cathy S.

Yelp
Coffee was hot and high quality. I thought Swiss cheese and feta were odd choices for the Chilaquiles dish---it would have been much more tasty with jack, cheddar or cojito cheeses. The pico de gallo was fresh, but the dish could have used something more--maybe a red or green sauce with a bit more zip.

Trina L.

Yelp
What great food for a ski resort eatery! I enjoyed the hazelnut goat cheese salad that contained pomegranate seeds, ample amount of chicken, and other goodies along with grilled sourdough toast. My companions' sandwiches looked amazing. Service was quick. Some of our party went back the next day. Great menu.

Andrea G.

Yelp
This is our favorite spot for breakfast and post skiing glasses of wine. We discovered this little gem last year and now it has become a daily part of our annual trip to Steamboat. Staff is always so friendly and the food is always super yummy. To add to it, it is conveniently located near the base of the mountain!

Joe G.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place the first time we went. The second time not very impressed. Ordered the GF Avocado Toast and was totally disappointed. The toast was overcooked and there was nothing else on the toast except smashed avocado. No spice or egg. Perhaps some flavor...greens, pickled onions, or tomatoes. That might justify the price. Also ordered the the CHILAQUILES which was as about impressive as the Avocado Toast. Chips, a little cheese and fried eggs. Definitely don't recommend theses items on the menu

Lee R.

Yelp
The girl at the cashier shorted me for my change. Food came out fairly quick, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. French toast was really good. Chicken fried steak TASTED LIKE ABSOLUTE SHIT! The biscuit was a muffin and dry and the damn thing tasted like a cigarette which was verified by everyone at the table. They did offer to make something else, but I opted to write this review instead.

Mar R.

Yelp
Picked up lunch to go. Definitely get there early at peak times because this place gets busy! The sandwiches are very good. Wish they had a few more vegetarian options. The only thing I would not get again is the smoothie -- it Was too sweet and not good.

Mary P.

Yelp
Used to be great......last visit food order was not as ordered, bloody Mary's were so spiced we could not drink them, service nonexistent.........tables not bused, dirty,

Justin E.

Yelp
Nice service good food cozy atmosphere. Great spot to hang out in and chat or get takeout.

DJ B.

Yelp
Love this place! Everything from coffee, to food and cocktails was delicious and the staff was awesome! We were in Steamboat for the week & I think we ate there every day. I would highly recommended this place and hope to go there again when we return to Steamboat. They are located at the base of the mountain so the view is great. I just wish they stayed open past 5pm.

Angela F.

Yelp
Keep in mind - it took 45 minutes to get out to go order. But the portions are great and the food was good! We will be back for a boozy brunch next year, we will just remember it takes a while for the food to come out.

Gordon G.

Yelp
I'm a Steamboat local & everytime I come in this place, the food is great but the employees can't even act like they want to do their job. Super impolite, everytime it feels like i'm getting rushed to order. Not only that, there's some kids working the kitchen playing rap with disgusting profanity on max volume. Doesn't even feel like the Steamboat vibe. Didn't even want to leave this review but someone should know about this.

Kate Z.

Yelp
Not what I expected...only from from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on a holiday weekend. We sat outside because we had a dog client with us and I only found 1 table that did not have used dishes/glasses/food on it. They need to bus the tables. I actually went in and told them the Magpies we're having a field day and my reply was " were closing, don't worry about it" We ordered 2 bloody Mary's...22.00 before tip...No yummys...no celery, bacon, olives...etc...good mix, but for $11.00 I would expect some good garnish. Try it, hold on to your wallet and prepare to bus your own table, if you can get around the Magpies!!

Irasema S.

Yelp
Two mornings in a row and the coffee and breakfast are still phenomenal. We had the pleasure of eating a delicious burrito with red onions, tomatoes, green savory Chile sauce, black beans and delicious green potatoes, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and topped with two types of delicious cheese and avocado. We also had blueberry pancakes, mmm, perfection. My honey had a steak sandwich on sourdough. Delicioso. This place is near the Grand Hotel. We are soo satisfied having the Paramount near us. A gem of a restaurant, for sure. The employees are phenomenal. The restaurant has inside and outside seating.

Darla D.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere! Looking out over the slopes imagining it covered in snow. The salads were fresh , huge and great service. The peach capris salad was so very good. Cold beer and fun drinks all were a hit with this large group! Thank you Paramount team for a great lunch!

Irasema S.

Yelp
Shout out to Paramount exceptional Team, from customer service, cashier, cleanliness, cooks and servers. Highest quality standards. Fun place to eat indoors or outdoors. The tuna and breakfast sandwiches were fabulous. Also the drip coffee was excellent. Highly recommended for any meal.

Bethany V.

Yelp
The food was good. Their hours are different than what's posted online. My husband had their blueberry pancakes & I had their French toast. Husband loved his pancakes but wished it came with eggs & bacon too. I enjoyed my French toast but the apples were not griddled into the French toast like shown online. Overall good food with slightly high prices

Brian R.

Yelp
This is just an awesome little place! We were staying at the Sheraton so we wandered over one morning for breakfast. The French toast was absolutely delicious. The service (you place your order at the counter and they bring it to the table) was excellent. We enjoyed beautiful breakfasts here every day. Thank you!

Gabe C.

Yelp
I ordered the 10$ biscuits and gravy and it came out completely ice cold. Was so bad that I couldn't even finish it. The biscuits also had sections of it that were rock hard and not edible. Would never come here again. Good environment and staff but the worst food I ate in steamboat
