This hotel is probably at the best possible location for anything related to U.S. Visa work — but unfortunately, things go downhill from there. It’s been declining for quite some time.
We arrived around 1:20 PM, and the lady at the reception said the room wasn’t ready and that many other guests were waiting too. We waited patiently till 2:10 PM and went back to check, only to find out the room was already ready — they just didn’t bother informing us. That lack of basic courtesy really stood out.
This was my fourth stay here, and probably my last. The rooms are now very old and badly need renovation. The bathrooms are leaky, damp, and have a persistent foul smell. My wife informed the front desk about the issue, but instead of checking on it, they just sent the housekeeping team for cleaning. The housekeeping staff did their best, but the odor remained. No one from the front desk even followed up to see if things were fine.
To be fair, the housekeeping staff were much more polite, attentive, and genuinely concerned about our comfort than the front desk team.
The mini fridge doesn’t cool properly, and there’s a constant unpleasant smell in the room. After four stays here, I think it’s time to look for a better alternative.
