Hot water is not working,it was rainy day and we are definitely looking for hot water. They are not providing alternative option. Next day the fridge was not working and the complaint was raised to concern the party, The technical person simply said a small fridge would work like that without properly checking.Actually there is no cooling at all. Beers get warm in the fridge and outside it was cool due to the room air conditioner.

Had my wedding reception at The Park Kolkata and this needs to be addressed that the entire team left no cards unturned to metamorphose the entire experience into moments worth reminiscing. Call it relentless anticipatory and suggestive skills of Ms Sayani , prompt and excellence of banquet team led by Chakida or warmth imparted by momentary gestures and willingness to serve by Mr Khatri and the bell boys , the entire mammoth structure lives and breathes hospitality having these and several unnamed talents who makes the difference on daily basis.

I have stayed in this hotel for many times over past few years. I like it a lot. The hotel staff are very friendly and I like the vibe a lot too. There are clubs in the ground floor. All the parties still now ends at Roxy as the locals say. I miss being there. Golden times of my golden life.

Terrible experience during checking in to the room. Also we booked non smoking rooms, but the entire floor was smelling. We notified at the front desk, and they did some cleaning, but we still experienced terrible smell. Paid for breakfast included with the hotel room was amazing. I really liked all the options and has a nice swimming pool. Key advantage that the hotel has is it's proximity to park street. But I didnot find the hotel family friendly.

The Park Hotel Kolkata is centrally located, making it ideal for exploring the city. Rooms are moderately sized with all basic amenities, and the staff is polite and helpful. The ambience is lively, with few pubs and bar on the ground floor, making it a happening spot in Kolkata. Prices are on the higher side, and in my personal view, may not fully match the value, but it remains a popular and well-regarded choice.

Costs as much as a five-star but it’s a five star of the past. 4star as best. The room is good, food is good, and location is what’s amazing. But the pristine nature and premium feeling is missing. Small quirks here and there, from worn off bathtubs and floor, not enough signs to find what is where. Like finding the swimming pool is difficult without asking someone. Swimming pool is surrounded by hooka smell and surrounding floor is very slippery. Need renovation… which is already going on as it seemed.

1. From lobby to floors, there is absolutely no sunlight/natural light. It's dingy, shady and suffocating. 2. Booked a room with king size bed, got allotted a room with 2 single beds. 3. Charge 2500/- for early check-in and still make you wait for 2 hours before allotment. 4. The entire floor, even non-smoking floors smell like a hot-box. No action whatsoever. I don't know how this is so expensive. There is absolutely no reason for it to be.

Starting with the service, it was far from welcoming. The reception staff appeared disinterested and unapproachable, creating an unpleasant first impression that made me hesitant to even enter the room. I stayed in a deluxe room, which was in a condition that is difficult to describe. The walls showed signs of dampness, and the bathroom was extremely cramped—to the point that the door nearly hit the toilet, and a single step inside put everything within reach. Contrary to what was advertised in the brochure, basic amenities were missing. The view from the window was of a drainage pipe, which added to the overall discomfort. Room service was disappointing, with responses taking significantly longer than expected. Frankly, I question the rating system that allows hotels like this to be listed as premium options. The experience was not worth the amount charged, and the overall service quality was severely lacking. If you're considering spending your money here, I would strongly recommend donating it to a good cause or treating yourself to a relaxing spa session instead—anything would be better than a stay at this establishment.
