The Park Hotel London

We would like to acknowledge the ‘ above and beyond’ service we experienced here. Due to hospitalization of my husband for 2 weeks,myself and multiple friends and family who visited were impressed with the ambiance, friendly staff, location,cleanliness and thier willingness to accommodate requests. The breakfast buffet,coffee and tea service,underground parking,cab availability, the microwave and fridge made life much easier during a difficult time for us. When asking for extra pillows, a larger fridge,an extra chair was immediately delivered we were impressed. Ryan, The manager went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed. I have made the people at University Hospital aware of this wonderful service for others experiencing a need to be away from home ,7 minutes from the hospital,and the walking availability to many great restaurants. We’ve stayed here a few times as it’s dog-friendly and in a very convenient location. But this visit has not been great. The water shut off unexpectedly from 11am to 2pm due to an emergency. So, no showers or water to drink. When it came back on it took a long time to clear. No water bottles were offered to guests. Our hotel phone didn’t work and our heating was inoperable. We even set it to 31 degrees just to test it and it held steady at 20 degrees. Overall, not a great experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights before attending our friend's wedding at Hunt Club. The hotel property is conveniently situated towering above the downtown London party scene. On a mid August summer the town is definitely vibing and how the oldsters amongst described it, "it's pumping." It is noisy on a week-end, but nothing some ear plugs can't fix. The rooms were nice & clean and a bit dated. There were a few technical difficulties, like the washroom fan sounded like a broken engine and the doors were quite sticky. The staff was professional and answered our questions in a helpful manner. The mini continental style breakfast from 7 to 10 and 730 to 1030 on weekends was clutch! We had late nights and the breakfast bar had everything to fix you up, nourish and energize you for the day ahead. The coffee and the boiled eggs, bread bar had so many varieties...it was perfect to stop before heading out. The staff kept refreshing the food so there was always plenty. Cozy stay!

The Park Hotel was excellent! We had plenty of space for getting ready for our wedding in the Park Suite. They added some personal touches including some champagne and a personal note to us, and our name on the lobby TV. Everything was seamless and wonderful.

I am from Dubai, and in my city even one-star to five-star hotels do not refuse the use of washrooms in emergencies for passersby. It’s 3:30 a.m. here, and I was told the washroom is not for public use, which feels very strange to me. The biggest issue in this city seems to be the lack of public washrooms during the night or early morning for people facing emergencies.

We checked in Saturday November 8 and had booked 2 rooms. Staff onsite were blatantly rude with no customer service skills what so ever. I can back to the hotel early and told the desk man that my sisters would be following shortly but because we were only given 1 key he would have to provide a second for them to get in. Instead he let them sit outside in the rain/snow freezing weather until another guest let them in and stated it was for their own safety and would not provide additional room keys. Based on my experience I would never recommend this hotel!

My family came to London for a wedding and we originally booked this hotel. I was very conflicted with the reviews. The hotel lobby is beautiful and its located in a great area.. However.. don't be deceived. The first room was dirty - food crumbs on ground, stain on bed, and bug smeared on curtain. Changed rooms. Second room had no mattress cover on one of the beds. We called down to ask someone to fix this for us and we were treated rudely - saying they can't do anything about it. Also, the hotel rooms were very low budget and reminded me of motels. You aren't getting your money worth. They advertise this hotel as luxury and it's far from that. The hotel photos online are deceiving. We checked out after one night and moved over to the Hard Rock Hotel. Much better hotel, highly recommend it.

The stay was fine but upon check out I asked that my receipt be emailed to me. The email came in a day later and included an extra day of charges. I have called and emailed multiple times with no response from the hotel and am now having to file a grievance through my credit card company.

Visiting this area for a wedding. I am very happy with the rooms and very spacious. Continental breakfast is good. It is located in East London.
