The Park House

The room photos shown online are completely misleading. We booked this hotel as a couple and arrived late at night, only to find that several rooms were actually available. Despite this, we were allocated a room that felt more like a storeroom than a guest room. The room was dark, cramped, and located in a very shady area—extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The bathroom was in poor condition, with discolored (reddish) water. The main door lock was broken and there was no latch; only a single unreliable lock was provided. We had to block the door with a chair and our luggage just to feel safe enough to sleep. The blankets looked dirty and unhygienic. The drinking water provided was questionable, and there was no kettle or tea/coffee arrangement, even though we arrived late in the evening. Since this was a last-minute stay and we had an early morning flight, we had no option but to stay for the night. Otherwise, we would never have chosen to stay in such a room. We barely managed to sleep due to the discomfort and safety concerns. The hotel is located in a very shady lane, far from the main jetty area, and the walk to the property feels unsafe—especially for families or couples. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Please avoid booking this hotel, even for a single night stay

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy, Comfortable, and Great Value! I absolutely loved my stay here! It’s not a luxury hotel like the Intercontinental, don’t come with many expectations! Honestly, that’s what makes it so charming. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for anyone looking for comfort and good value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they really made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The food was another highlight generous portions, delicious local flavors, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like it was made with care. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it’s the perfect spot for travelers who appreciate genuine hospitality and a warm, homey vibe without the high price tag. I’d definitely stay here again! Ps : The fish tank at reception was very clean and this means a lot!

I got check in here on 23 october 2025 , I ordered nasi gorang but what they gave me was scrambled egg rice in which peices of chicken and beef mixed with it without confirmation whether i eat beef or not ,what i realised was staff was not polite , specially the reception person Arshad who moved me from one room to another between my stay , there was a thin blanket, no electric kettle , no coffe tea amenities when i asked him politely about it what he told me was only you having problems others don,t so i will say chose other better option to stay this place is not worth it.

My wife and I had a truly positive experience at The Park House in Malé, finding it to be excellent value for money. The hotel's location is a definite highlight, providing a safe and convenient base for exploring the city on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around Malé, always feeling secure as we navigated back to the hotel.|Regarding the rooms, it's important to set realistic expectations; you're not paying for five-star luxury, but for the price, they offer exceptional value. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited our needs, truly delivering on the "value for money" aspect I've mentioned. The complimentary breakfast and dinner, while being one dish per person, added significantly to the overall value. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly courteous and helpful, even assisting us with currency exchange from USD to Maldivian Rufiyaa. The combination of safety, location, value-packed rooms, and outstanding service makes The Park House a highly recommendable choice for a practical and pleasant stay in Malé.|

This location consistently meets our needs; it's our preferred choice. The rooms, while not overly spacious, are well-equiped and provide everything necessary. The complimentary breakfast and beverages are also excellent. This is our fifth stay, and we've used this location for every male tour. Please maintain the current pricing; we plan to return, God willing. The value is exceptional (10/10).

We booked this place for 7 nights but we left after 4 nights. The staff is friendly, the location is fine. The room is good size and the bed is comfortable. The problem is that they didn't clean the room for 4 days and the food is not good, they show u the menu but only half of the menu is available.

The good thing I like about this hotel is that it's very accessible to any point in the City. Friendly people, clean, nice breakfast and affordable price. Just walking distance from the jetty leading to the airport. Near to the jetty also. Perfect 👍 |

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Malé! The location is perfect—just about 1 km from the city center and ferry, making it very convenient for travelers. The staff was warm and cooperative, providing basic amenities like a dental kit and bottled water. One thing to note is that the complimentary dinner and breakfast are not buffet-style; each person gets one meal. For dinner, we could order only one main dish per person (e.g., pasta or chowmein) without any side dishes. The food was decent and healthy but not particularly tasty, with minimal vegetables or extras—so don’t expect much in terms of variety. Breakfast was also simple but sufficient, including bread with jam, butter, or cheese, a fried egg, orange juice, and tea or coffee. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly stay with a great location and warm hospitality. Would love to visit again!
