The Parker Barber

Walking by, I notice the shop is open. I open the door to find a couple gentlemen seated in the barber chairs and talking to each other. I ask if they accept walk-ins, to which they reply yes, but we’re fully booked tonight. I visually sweep the shop in case I have missed the customers, but find none except the two folks seated in the barber chairs. I quickly determine that they do take walk-ins, just not *me*, thank them for their time and leave. Hopefully you will have better luck!

I would leave a 10/5 if I could. I booked a reservation with The Parker months ago for my bachelor party and some family to get shaves and hot towel service before my wedding and boy, did they deliver. Not only did my ENTIRE party of 10 say it was one of the best shaves of their life, they went home with ideas and tips on how to take care of get their desired trim again. Brett, Mason, and Micah the co-owner all delivered a stellar performance in their craft, their personalities, and their knowledge. Thank you guys so much for hosting a great start to the best day of my life.

Needed a good haircut before I showed up at a conference. This was a great find and I was able to get an appointment the day I arrived in New Orleans.

Showed availability online so I went in. Told me they were booked. Double checked online, and when you select today's date, it automatically changes to a date in the future, which I didn't notice before. 2-3 of them were just standing around, talking outside, the same ones who told me they were fully booked. Could have been halfway done with my cut if they weren't just standing around, outside, talking and not making money. "Fully booked." Fully lazy.

Jacob crushed it! He fixed me up nice for my wedding. If you’re a balding gentlemen like myself, they can still work with what ya got. Great atmosphere, great price.

Was in town visiting from the UK and had a great experience here. I had a great conversation with Micah who was an absolute gentleman and gave a nice haircut to boot. Highly recommend the Parker Barber for anyone need a fresh trim in NOLA.
