The Patio Houses

Patrick&Ariane are great hosts!|They have a cosy home, very stylish with amazing patio. Just ask them to show the hidden places of the mansion and you will be amazed! They love their city and can explain what to visit. Ariane made for us a great breakfast with farm and organic touch. Also the room is comfy especially the quality of bed and bed linen - you will leave the place totally refreshed! Highly recommend them as a best B&B in town.

Staying here with a family just for 2 night, but feeling sorry already to leave. we book this bnb on a regularly basis, for guests coming from Italy. Every space at the Patio Houses is high-tech and cozy at the same time, warm and practical, ideal for couples, family and or business trips, very close to the central station and the city center. owners are always ready and available for any need and extra friendly with foreigners.

Good:||- Big rooms with a very large comfortable bed and cover (but the pillows are terrible)||- Very nice bathroom||- Really love the old/new cool design, furniture and architecture of the whole house||- Super friendly owners||||Bad (more nitpicking really...):||- My pillows...Arian pls replace them with something more high end/feather pillows maybe?||- Value wise maybe a bit pricey for some when compared with some of the other (fairly good) hotel choices||- Location is ok but not central/in the old town||- The lights and shutters in my room were controlled by one of those not so obvious electronic touch pads...I wonder if years from now we will laugh about these sort of gadgets...why not just a dimmer and switches (ok I am a bit of a curmudgeon).||||Remember it's not a hotel so check-in/check-out has to be coordinated and not just whenever you want.

Location is perfect a short walk from train station and less than 10 minutes walk from grote markt.|Lovely decorated and full of small details what makes stay really enjoyable.|Bath was stunning |Can't wait to visit again

The best

Het heet een bed and breakfast maar appartement zou een betere benaming zijn. Wat een ruimte! Eigenaars super vriendelijk. De straat is vrij druk maar daar merk je binnen niets van. En je loopt binnen 10 minuten de stad in.

Super vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Centrale ligging. En mooie welness... ideaal plaats om Mechelen te verkennen en toch tot rust te komen.
