The Patra Bali Resort & Villas

We had a 2 day layover in Bali on our way to Lombok and decided to stay close to the airport.|We booked the hotel last minute and needed cost effective accommodation so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.|The hotel is an older style, which in my view provides more Balinese character. While there are aspects of the resort that are in need of modernisation we found it charming and comfortable.|It is set on a large area with lovely gardens and close to the beach. There is a main pool plus two other smaller pools which are adult only.|There is a pathway along the beach where you can walk into the heart of Kuta - approx 2 km. While you are in Kuta and next to the airport, it is quiet and tranquil.|We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which was very spacious.|The staff were lovely and offered true Balinese service.|This resort offers great value for money accommodation.|The resort was excellent value for money.

It was my precious 50th anniversary, which I decided to celebrate in Bali. The trip was planned well in advance with the help of Trip Advisor as well.😊|The Patra Bali Resort & Villas was a delightful place to stay. Beautifully designed, with the local charm and flavors, exquisite facilities, scenic nature, enchanting beach and romantic sunset.|Excellent customer service, food, restaurants! Provided transfers from and to the airport was also very convenient. |It is a hotel, which fulfills demanding Western customers needs and expectations.|Highly recommended to book direct for special deals and offers.||Also I should mention that they are great at making good surprises. I am very impressed and grateful for the unexpected birthday cake 🎂 and birthday message, which I found in my room after the check-in. And lots more!||Sincere gratitude for the fantastic 50th anniversary❤️

I stayed at The Patra Bali in October 2024 and had a truly wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful and relaxing, but what really made the stay memorable was the exceptional service.||I’d like to give special recognition to Suryawan, a member of the front desk team. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any issue. Whether it was organizing transport, assisting with special requests, or just greeting us with a warm smile, he truly went above and beyond.||Even after our stay, we’ve kept in touch, which speaks volumes about the sincerity of his hospitality. He genuinely cares about guests and represents the best of Balinese warmth and professionalism.||I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes his efforts.||Thank you again for the great memories. I would return without hesitation.

We just stayed a few nights at Patra Resort and had a really lovely experience. The location is super convenient—very close to the airport—which made our arrival and departure easy. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews about possible noise from the airport, but honestly, I didn’t hear a thing. It was calm, peaceful, and really easy to sleep. The resort has multiple swimming pools, and the adults-only one was especially quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of fresh options, including meals prepared on the spot. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, always making sure everything was just right. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this resort for a comfortable and restful stay.

Amazing hotel! I don’t know who the people are leaving negative reviews but they must be complete Bali virgins! This resort is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and traditional! The pool is sparkling and the location is wonderful! Thank you to the amazing and kind staff for the beautiful hospitality. Would stay again!

A peaceful resort near the airport with a spacious layout and traditional Balinese charm. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a suite—thanks to the hotel team! The villa was spacious and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Buggies are available to transfer between the lobby, pool, and beach, which is super convenient. Loved the beachfront access, and breakfast even had some Indian options. A great place to relax and wind down before a flight.

Greeted by DWI, a super friendly and helpful receptionist. She helped us during check in and check out process.||||The room was so spacy, clean, and comfortable, more than enough for a small family. This hotel also have direct beach access, perfect for vacation. All the facilities around hotel was also great, they offer huge and nice swimming pool, gym, and massive garden.||||Location was also good, only 5 minutes from airport, 10 minutes to Legian, 0 minute to Kuta Beach. What a perfect place to stay!!

We stayed at Patra Resort for two nights and were pleasantly surprised. Although it’s a state-owned property—technically a subsidiary of Pertamina—it’s very well-maintained. The design may feel a bit classic, but there’s a timeless charm to it that makes the experience memorable. Each room is essentially its own villa. The smaller villas are split into two levels—either you’re on the ground floor or the upper floor—and both feel spacious. The larger villas are single-storey and offer even more room to relax. The breakfast was decent—not a huge variety, but enough to start the day. The price point is reasonable, especially considering it’s a villa with good facilities. A unique touch: every morning, the staff plays Indonesia Raya, adding a nice sense of national pride to start the day. The best part? It has direct access to Kuta Beach and is just minutes from the airport. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a peaceful stay near the beach and airport.
