Hotel: clean, great location, great value, all necessary amenities- laundry quick turnaround and perfect. Service - impeccable! I had a bad experience with an ATM at the airport, the manger helped recommend a good one and followed up to make sure everything went well. I got sick one day during our stay and she found a clinic and coordinated for me to see a doctor that same evening. Suni - you made our visit of Chiang Mai the highlight of our trip. I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me. Thank you ! 🙏

The Peaberry Hotel: Due to recent issues with my previous long stay hotel in Chiang Mai I had to decamp to the Peaberry but very glad I did. No lift but very nice room and bathroom, very obliging staff who helped me secure onward accommodation during a very busy period in Chingmai region. They do a small breakfast menu but I went to the local supermarket and bought my own bacon & mushrooms which they very kindly cooked for me with some fried eggs from the menu.

Great hotel in Chiang Mai, near the center and at walking distance from several spots. The staff is quite helpful and always ready to help and make our stay smooth and nice. The breakfast is delicious, we started our day everyday there, with the fruit bowl! 100% would recommend this hotel

It was for sure the best experience I had in Thailand. First let’s begin with the people. I was greeted by the assistant and the manager. Nina was super welcoming. She provided me with useful information upon my arrival. Then, a few minutes after my arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting the manager San Shira. Both sat with me and helped me review my initial planning. They made sure that I would enjoy the most of what Chiang Mai had to offer and they did a wonderful job. At the hotel itself, the furniture, the bed, the linen, everything is high quality. It’s also super clean. You have some little places to sit down and read or chat with people and meet Luna the cat. The café offers you good food and good breakfasts. I could go on for hours. I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it. The first night, I asked for a restaurant with typical food dishes from Chiang Mai. Their suggestion was perfect. The food was good, the service was quick and the price was decent. I then asked for a guide to visit the temples and discover Thai food. They suggested me Ann from Good Thai Tour. I had such an amazing day with her. She’s such a wonderful person. She adjusted the tour for my needs. I had a lot of fun but most importantly I had a wonderful day learning and tasting. I asked to visit an elephant sanctuary, and I asked for a place that treats them very well. They suggested me one. It was an awesome experience. There was an activity that we were supposed to do with the elephants, but the elephants didn’t want to do it, so we didn’t do it. They respected their choice and it was great to see. I also asked for a cooking class. They suggested me smile organic farm Thai cooking school. It was very well organized and the experience was amazing. Unfortunately, I got sick one day and they made sure I had everything I needed. Again, they are wonderful people. After that episode they suggested I get a head massage with brushing and nail polish. That was perfect. Instead of losing a whole day, I did something relaxing after a few hours of recovery. And last but not the least, they helped me or, should I say, organized all my transportation from that point till the end of my trip. They were so generous and helpful. All in all, an incredible experience!

The staff, location, and cleanliness of the hotel are all 5 stars, if not more! However, the rooms (in particular street facing rooms) have some issues as mentioned in other reviews. The hotel is on a busy street and these rooms have a lot of windows; great for sunlight, bad for noise and sleeping. The curtains are not blackout, so a lot of light comes in, as does noise. So if you aren’t a “sleep like the dead” kind of person, ask specifically for an interior room. We change our room after night 1 because the noise and brightness was too much. We also had an issue with our booking resulting in the hotel canceling our 3rd night (their error), so we had to change hotel rooms 3 times in our 3 days in chiang mai. It was a lot. The hotel we switched to was around the corner on the same block but away from the main road. Even better stay and room quality, for a cheaper price, so we would choose that other hotel for future stays due to sleep quality.

The hotel had the hardest mattress I’ve ever slept on. The walls are also very thin so from hearing loud traffic as stated in another review, you can also hear the people in the next room. There’s no reception desk so you are on your own once you are here. I would not recommend this place for the price, you can find way better options at a better value.

The host was great - very smooth communication, extremely helpful. The hotel was clean, tasteful, we liked the lobby. We also appreciated the breakfast at the cafe (20% off for hotel guests) and a free drink. The location is excellent - within the city walls but right on the edge. The bathroom featured a shower that actually had some water pressure and a proper big showerhead :) Three only downside is that we had a room with windows facing a very busy road so we could hear the traffic.

Incredibly friendly & helpful staff. The owner greeted me personally and was just such a warm-hearted, nice person. The little Cafe they have in the front of the hotel had delicious smoothies and drinks. My only issue with this hotel and why i can‘t give a full 5* are the rooms and the noise level. When i first checked in, my room was directly on the street side, which is a very busy street with lots of traffic. The noise was so loud, that i asked to change rooms if possible. Luckily for me, there was another room available for me to switch and the other room was much better and quieter. Though, some other guests might not be as lucky and it seems like the 4 rooms which are directly on the street side will always be loud. So if you‘re unlucky and get one of those rooms, it‘s gonna be noisy. Only complaint about my room was that the bed / mattess was rather hard so i woke up with slight lower back pain in the morning. As contrast, the pillows were very comfortable and the best i had between all hotels i‘ve been to so far in Thailand. I‘d suggest replacing the matress at some point to offer a more comfortable sleeping experience for the guests. Moreover, my shower had trouble of keeping a constant temperature. It was either way too hot, that i had to turn it down, but then it got very cold. So i mostly showered cold because it took a long time to get hot water again. Otherwise rooms were very clean and well thought out! I enjoyed my stay at the Peaberry Boutique Hotel and would recommend it to others if you aren‘t as sensitive to traffic noise or can ask for a quiet room.
