This hotel is top notch. The grounds were very clean. Staff was unbelievable and so nice around every corner. The hotel is small enough where they can get to know you a little bit if desired. The attention to detail especially with room turnover was impressive actually. The location was great in terms of being set right within walking distance of all the local shops. The bikes provided were perfect for local travel. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Would stay here again in a second.

I had the most amazing experience in the Spa. Booking my appointment with Pam was smooth and easy. Noelle gave an incredible deep tissue massage. She was friendly, asked where I needed special attention and then proceeded to make this massage top tier. The room was lovely and very relaxing. This 10/10 exceeded all expectations.

My wife and I had an exceptional experience during our recent stay at The Pearl Hotel, made even more memorable by sharing it with close friends. From the moment we arrived, the onsite team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness that made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Our room was elegantly appointed, and the service was consistently seamless and thoughtful. The spa exceeded expectations, offering a serene and rejuvenating experience that transitioned perfectly into time spent at the adults-only pool — a true highlight of the property. We departed with a deep appreciation for the attention to detail and elevated hospitality that defines The Pearl. It left a lasting impression, and we look forward to returning.

Google
Booked this hotel for one reason only - an adults-only pool. I've been to Rosemary Beach 3 other times and stayed at VRBOs with access to community pools. It was NOT relaxing to be on vacation with other people's kids. The pool attendant, Chris, was very helpful with adjusting my umbrella to find shade, refreshing wet towels, etc. The pool servers Abbey and Gar were great at keeping the drinks and poolside snacks flowing. We love this hotel's location. It's close to the beach and we used the complimentary bike rentals every day to ride to our favorite coffee shops and breakfast spots in the morning. The guys working at valet were so helpful. The maid service at the hotel is top notch. Our room was clean with fresh towels all weekend. We felt so well cared for during our 4 night stay. Thank you to everyone at the Pearl who helped us relax this weekend. We will be back!

Google
The staff was kind and welcoming, and we received a free bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. It was so nice being able to just walk down to the beach and have chairs ready for us, and the location of the Pearl is great for walking to dinner. We had one issue with the valet, but they were very apologetic and helpful, and we are grateful for that.

Google
I was in the area for work and wanted to take an extra day to spend at the beach, and just happened upon this hotel as I was looking for a hotel where I could easily see and access the beach. What a find - I cannot recall the last time I stayed at a hotel in the US or abroad where I received this level of service from each and every staff member. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Amazing care taken of guests by the front desk, valet, beach guys, and at every other level.

Google
This hotel had a great location, staff, room and room service, food was good. The issue i had is that there roof top bar was closed three days out of the 4 day's we were there for 2 weddings also there restaurant was closed 1 of the nights. I was told by staff this hotel is a wedding destination so a little heads up you might want to book your trip during the week to avoid all the weddings they have mostly on the weekends so this dose not happen to you. At 700.00 + a night i feel you should have access to all amenities in the hotel ! The hotel was very good about cutting the music off by 9:30 and being very respectful to the guest. It was a little frustrating not being able to use the rooftop bar but there are a lot of very good restaurants in walking distance from the pearl so that is what we did we spent our money at other restaurant's since there priorities seemed to be the money they make on the weddings ! But we did have a great time !

Visited Spa with daughter. Wonderful! Whitney was amazing! Thank you Chris and Paula for taking care of us by the pool. It was such a nice morning...

Yelp
Before a long girls' weekend in 30A, I flew in a day early for a little solo reset and booked one night at The Pearl. It was worth every penny for the location, amenities, and service. Valet parking is included, you're welcomed with a champagne toast, and the staff throughout the hotel was warm and attentive. The rooms are stunning. I had a 3rd floor pool view, which I highly recommend. It gives you a gorgeous view of the pool courtyard and ocean without the downtown Rosemary noise. Chairs and towels are included at both the pool and beach (they fill up quickly in peak season, so plan ahead) as well as extras like sunbum sunscreen and aloe, were a nice touch. The only downside, and reason for 4 stars, was my experience at the Havana rooftop and room service. As a solo guest, I wanted to enjoy a sunset drink and order room service after. Even though there were plenty of open seats and staff, the host team didn't want to seat me. I was given a confusing mix of reasons. Manager said no, bartender said no, etc.) and after some awkward back and forth, I was finally seated at the bar. As I sat down I noticed others were ordering drinks just fine by either sitting at the bar or walking up to it. It felt unnecessarily difficult and totally unlike the rest of the hotel. Staff were also openly talking about plotting to close early and not wanting to be there (this was the evening of June 4th). The bartender was great and helped salvage the vibe, but my gosh I did not feel welcome. Now onto room service. I called well before the 9:30pm cutoff, and I couldn't get through. I had to go through the front desk to place an order. The person who eventually took my order made me feel like a burden. The food, once delivered, was delicious and arrived quickly. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would return, but I hope the rooftop experience gets some attention. It doesn't reflect the rest of The Pearl, which is otherwise top-tier.

Yelp
I have been stalking The Pearl for years and finally splurged for a weekend here. The concierge was emailing me with restaurants and set up a car before we arrived. Ask for Wendy! She was the BEST! The hotel has complimentary beach set up which is so useful and important to me as I am always in the water. The smell of the hotel? They pipe in an almond-esque scent that stays with you. The finishings in the room are STUNNING. The pool opens at 7 am and they provide high end sunscreen at the beach and pool, along with ice cold bottles of water-the best perk. They have a beach bag in the room you can use during your stay, along with flip flops if you forgot yours- another nice touch. It's an adults only hotel, so it does tend to be quiet and it was very peaceful. The showers are very well stocked with bespoke toiletries. Cookies were waiting for us in the evenings at the turn down service. The staff checked on us constantly during our weekend stay. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants. I was unfamiliar with this hospitality group but I'm now a fan. We will be back! ( The Havana Beach Club has the best food and a nice rooftop bar!)

Yelp
The atmosphere of the rooftop bar is fine, it was quiet both times we went. The view is nice. The shrimp tacos had good flavor but the tortilla was sort of just cold and flavorless. The fries were a group favorite as was the lemonade cocktail. The chips were stale.

Yelp
Where Luxury Meets Thoughtful Hospitality This was my second stay at The Pearl, and I can confidently say it won't be my last. Every visit continues to exceed expectations in the best way possible. From the moment you arrive, the warm hospitality and thoughtful touches make you feel completely taken care of. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive, and the accommodations are nothing short of luxurious. Being greeted from the moment you arrive to check in all the way through when you check out. A huge added bonus was we arrived early and we were able to get into our room. After traveling for 7 hours, this was the best news ever. The little details--like the plush bedding, the cozy pillows, and the nightly turndown service complete with cookies (Oh and the pimiento cheese snack box on your fist night) --make the experience feel elevated and intentional. One of my favorite perks is that bikes and beach chairs are included in your stay. I loved biking around town again, especially for a morning coffee run or just exploring the beauty of Rosemary Beach. It's those small, thoughtful extras that truly set The Pearl apart. Whether visiting for business or leisure, The Pearl has quickly become my go-to destination. It's a place that makes you want to extend your stay every single time. Truly the best!

Yelp
This week we spent four days and 3 nights at the Beautiful Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, Florida. You can't believe the level of service you receive in this hotel. Upon early arrival we were greeted by concierge service at checkin which included our room being ready before standard checkin and friendly professional service which included dinner recommendations and reservations and to top it off, two glasses of Prosecco for my wife and I. Each time a member of the staff addressed you they knew your name, unreal, The room was impeccably appointed and extremely clean. You have to experience this level of service to believe it. We enjoyed it immensely and I think you would too. And all this in one of the most beautiful beach communities in Florida.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner here at The Pearl! Was here for a bachelorette party with a party of 7, we were seated at a nice high top in the front of the restaurant. We were greeted by the most wonderful server, I can't remember his name but he was great! I had a yummy berry NA drink, and ordered the Isla Chicken for dinner. And omg, everything about this meal was so so good! Can't forget about the yummy bread and salted butter as well. Would love to come back next time in Rosemary Beach!

Yelp
Engineering broke into our room twice, a room that my 5 month old was sleeping separate from my room. Can you even imagine? Their reason: Karen next door was complaining about the sleep machine. This hotel needs to better train their staff on etiquette and safety protocol. Didn't sleep all night. Next night there was a wedding right under room DESPITE never telling us this at check in or even the morning of when they groveled their way to an apology while we were headed to the beach. Again, goes back to training and staff. This place although looks beautiful, is all smoke and mirrors with one little mistake, it can ruin your vacation. Quite frankly this could be a legal issue,

Yelp
Spent three nights here on our first trip to the Emerald Coast area of Florida. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine upon our arrival. The Pearl's location is great, private beach access is nice with a guard stationed near the entrance toward evening, and they offer bicycles if you're in the mood to pedal. Housekeeping, bellmen, front desk and servers at the restaurants on property are kind and welcoming. Our final night, we attempted to run a bath and order room service. That is when we discovered the phone did not work and the tub drain was non functional. The host at Havanas Beach Bar & Grill appeared annoyed that we walked downstairs to order room service. The front desk sent a kind gentleman up to look at the and tub drain. He was able to remedy whatever ailed the phone but not the tub drain. If you're looking for a well appointed property, this likely isn't it. They have some work to do with their facilities. Disappointing.

Yelp
The Cajun seafood pasta was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! The crab cakes are great, and the cocktails are prepared perfectly, although on the pricey side. The host was a little unfriendly but our server did a great job taking care of our large dinner party. We had a hard time deciding what to get but we were happy with our selections. Would return.

Yelp
GREAT amazing food and chef! Beautiful atmosphere and have had many date nights here to enjoy the resort. Love staying a weekend at the Pearl Hotel and restaurant, we go every year and have a relaxing stay cation!

Yelp
If you are eating at The Pearl you MUST request Ethan as your server! The food was fantastic, the ambiance and decor was fantastic but without Ethan we would have had a completely different experience. He was extremely polite and kind. All of his recommendations were SPOT ON and delicious. He also went above and beyond for our bride to be. Thank you, Ethan for an incredible experience at The Pearl!

Yelp
It's a stunning building, and clearly the centerpiece of Rosemary Beach, convenient to everything, The views from the gulf facing rooms are perfection. Lots of activity in the grassy square in front of you, beautiful homes and buildings on the sides, and a grand view of the gulf just beyond. Rooms are nicely laid out, with comfortable seating area, small dining table, stocked complementary fridge. Good closet and drawer space. Ceiling fan. Comfortable bed and good room darkening. Service was excellent; whether room service, housekeeping, special requests, the staff were always very responsive and friendly. A few negatives kept it from perfection. Our first night, the a/c was barely working and the room warmish and there was only barely lukewarm water in the shower. When we mentioned to the front desk the next morning, they said they were aware and crews were working on it. A hotel the caliber of the Pearl I would have expected them to proactively update the guests, not wait for complaints. TV - HDMI ports were available to plug in devices, but switching from cable to another port resulted in a blank screen. Hotel tech support arrived promptly but had no idea what the issue was or how to resolve. We had a spa tub in the bathroom and the shower was a coffin sized cube barely big enough to turn around in. Apparently, if you don't have the tub, you get a nice walk in shower. Next visit we'll know to specify. These are little complaints, but the Pearl is billed as a top notch hotel, and didn't quite meet that bar for us. With their rates, we'll explore other 30A options before returning.

Yelp
Great whiskey selection and bartenders! Apparently I need 85 characters when the first sentence should suffice. So, here goes!

Yelp
It's been a a little over a month now since we stayed at the Pearl. I thought about forgetting about the experience and posting anything on Yelp but I chose to do so for one reason. The lack of Management Attention. I got a survey that seem to come directly from the GM. We shared the experience in detail yet he never replied even to simply say I'm sorry for all the mishaps. Reservations. Maybe the worst experience in years of extensive travel. We had multiple reservations, booked and paid for a suite but ended up in a regular room but still paid about the same. Another room had to switch and move night 2. The hotel. Nice but incredibly disappointing. Talk about the juice not worth the squeeze. Rooms were Ok but gulf front shower was terribly small. There is NO gym onsite. Best way to describe. By far the most paid the least in return. The staff. There are some hero's, the valets, the beach guys, and Abigail and Ann at the front desk. Reservation, the hostesses at the restaurant and management were total opposite, very disappointing,. Again, management never even took a moment to talk to us while there or email or call after. Rosemary - the area is very nice but I would never go back. This maybe the most unfriendly place for kids and babies. Most restaurants wouldn't even let us sit down with a 1 and 3 month old. Some were actually rude to you if you walk to the front door with a baby.

Yelp
First, let me say the rooftop bar at The Pearl is a great experience! Great live music (Joey, a great local guitarist/vocalist was performing and he walks around with his wireless guitar. Awesome!!) Our server Brie was amazing! Super service. We ordered chips and dip. The guac was less than stellar and just basic. The Smoked tuna dip was the best of all 3 apps we ordered. The roasted oysters were very tasty as well. Great view of the cool pool and limited view of the ocean between rooftops. We then proceeded downstars to Havana for a seated dinner of 9 people. There were only about seven tables seated in the entire restaurant. Here is the important thing to remember: Be wary of ordering steak at The Pearl. Several in our party ordered Ribeye steaks. The somewhat thin cut arrived looking great--but the chewiness was a disappointment. One of our guests sent the steak back from overcooking. Over 30 minutes later, we were all done and her steak wasn't even ready yet. She got it to go and it was more done than the first one! It was obvious the person doing the cooking this night didn't know how to properly cook a steak. We are used to thicker steaks. The Pearl is using a much thinner cut and not super quality of meat that you might find at let's say "Chops-Lobster bar" or "Hal's" steakhouses in Atlanta GA. (The prestige reputation of The Pearl does not match the quality of food in the restaurant. This is also evidenced by the 1 star reviews here on Yelp!) Our amazing server Kimberly was the icing on the cake. She was joyous from the moment she arrived at the table and saved the night from a disappointing dining experience for several of us. The entire staff was really helpful including Ben who worked to resolve a payment question. Kristof at the front was a great first impression.

Yelp
Expensive. But beautiful! You can see the beach from the rooftop. Walk through the beautiful pool of the hotel. Food was ok, queso wasn't quite melted enough. Overpriced, but a great experience!

Rick W.

Yelp
The hotel staff was incredible, from checking in, throughout the stay and check out every staff member was focused on the guest experience. Highly recommend you visit this boutique property

Rhonda W.

Yelp
Dining in the Havana restaurant. Horrible service. Waiters not trained. Passive aggressive. Non of the scotches on the list were available. Indifferent waiter.

Yelp
The Pearl Location: Rosemary Beach, FL Shrimp & Grits and Blacken Grouper Sandwich The last day of vacation our vacation group decided to try out a restaurant that was recommended by several of the locals. Brunch was absolutely fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals. First, I ordered the peach mimosa and GF ordered the violet mimosa. Both were fantastic! For our meals I ordered the shrimp and grits while GF ordered the grouper sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious with super fresh ingredients! The Shrimp and Grits was one of the best I have ever had and the grouper sandwich was well seasoned and super light. If you are visiting Rosemary Beach, definitely give this restaurant a try.

Yelp
If you can afford to stay here, then stay here! Best hotel services. So accommodating and so nice! We brought our baby and they did everything they could to make it a great stay for us. It's also right by the beach, added bonus.

Taliah Z.

Yelp
We ate at the restaurant and they didn't have many menu choices and the service was slow. However the food was pretty good.

Yelp
We decided to go try this place after hearing about it from a friend. First of all, this place has great views with huge pours on their wine glasses !! Decent service however too much of a talkative waiter while we just trying to enjoy ourselves and the wonderful view. The cocktails we not really strong and did not taste the best. I would definitely recommend sticking with beer and wine. The shrimp cocktail was very fresh and I enjoyed it ! Overall, this is place is decent for the views and maybe a glass of wine or two however it is a bit pricey.
google avatar

Yelp
Stayed here for Thanksgiving and loved every second. The rooms are newly renovated and comfy and gorgeous. The service is second to none. Anytime I had a request, the front desk was always super efficient and quick. The turndown service and treats in the evening was a super special touch! We also got a nice little departing gift from the front desk that made me smile! If you are going to Rosemary Beach, staying at the Pearl is a MUST!

Yelp
We were here for our anniversary and had an amazing trip. We are normally workaholics, so this is a much needed getaway. It was absolutely a gorgeous hotel and very intriguing. I loved how it was decorated and laid out. We climbed the winding stairs three floors up to our room. Our room was very clean and beautiful with French doors opening up to a large balcony overlooking the pool. Since it was our anniversary, they had a gift for us and champagne welcoming us to the hotel. Later in the day we walked the boardwalk down towards the beach. It is near the hotel, and a very easy walk. They had hotel chairs on the beach for us to use. Also, along with our reservation, they let us use their hotel bikes for riding around the town and sightseeing. This was an amazing trip and we can hardly wait to get back. I would highly recommend this Hotel and resort for a relaxing getaway.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant. The food and service befit the location. nice place to have a drink or enjoy a meal.

Harheen Y.

Yelp
Giving 2 stars as this is my experience thus far. May change if experience becomes better. This place has kind employees. However they seem to be in some miscommunication with each other. We placed a couple calls to concierge, room service, and questions asked didn't line up with what the other ones said. For example. Rooftop bar hours of operation, one employee said that it was open, and when my husband went, they were in fact not open. I also feel as though this place was also very NOT accommodating. A lot of this place isn't very baby/toddler friendly. This is kind of understandable however when you pay a lot for a place you would expect it to be a bit better with that. Not very family friendly. We also got a room with a very lame view. Not sure if they did this on purpose as we had a little one with us? But not nice. My LO is a very good quiet baby. Valet was convenient but no parking area is also pretty inconvenient.

Yelp
It's stylish, sophisticated, and seductively urbane bar-elegance at its finest with deep, dark wood and casually relaxed lighting that creates a soothing, inviting mood that will endure in your memory. It's not opulent, but it is luxuriously comfortable - one of those places you "want to be"!and "want to stay" and enjoy and enjoy - like sinking into an overly comfortable leather chair for a well-deserved nap as you pretend to watch football. And while you are there, you must sip on something delicious and refreshing .... The experience will lubricate your soul, recharge your battery, and realign your perspective.. - "In character, in manner, in style, in all the things, the supreme excellence is simplicity." ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Genia O.

Yelp
We just spent 2 hours at the rooftop bar at the Pearl. We received two appetizers drinks, two kids meals and had ordered four hamburgers. Nothing other than the appetizers and kids meals and drinks were received. $281 and no burgers. Absolutely a DO NOT RECOMMEND
google avatar

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel on Rosemary Beach. I enjoyed the rooftop bar and the beautiful view overlooking the ocean. I definitely want to visit this place again in the future. The hotel is very pristine and clean. The elevator going up to the rooftop was a plus!
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
Don't waste your time. book a reservation at another local spot as things fill up quickly in the area. the blonde bartender seemed like she was having a bad day. Rude, "uninviting", and no sense of urgency. also was charged 20% "auto-grat" for "large party". it was six of us at the bar. obviously why they don't care to show hospitality, as they just auto-grat when they think they can get away with it. wife and I have roughly 40 successful years combined in the industry and walked away highly offended. This experience was for the havana rooftop bar section of the hotel.
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time here, despite being woken up one morning by construction out in the pool area. The beverages and towels were refreshed every morning and the complimentary umbrellas allowed for a nice sunburn-free beach day. The restaurant downstairs is wonderful but we heard too many negative reviews from friends to try the rooftop bar.
google avatar

William W.

Yelp
First off, it's a beautiful hotel and restaurant. You can tell it is on the higher end (and pricier end). I was in a group of 7 and we were all delighted with the service and the food was delicious. So on that part I'd give it a solid 4/5 stars. However, upon checking my receipt I realized that I was charged more than what I put down for the tip (on top of the automatic gratuity charge added to your bill). It really rubs me the wrong way when places add more to the tips than what you gave, especially when you gave a good tip. Moral of the story, if you go pay in cash and if you use a card keep your receipts and double check them. Really disappointing that they falsify tips.

Gavin D.

Yelp
Review for restaurant / bar, grabbed drinks from the bar and went to sit at a table, at least 8 different servers looked at our party and no one ever came over to ask if we wanted more drinks or any food at all. can't not recommend this place enough. Staff doesn't want to do their job and over priced drinks , go anywhere else.

Heather B.

Yelp
Apparently they close at 945 pm all week now ....so this bar and the best place in Rosemary beach is no longer a great find ! Too bad for sure for their bar business at this hotel ... sure hope that was the correct information given to me by the bar staff tonight via the front desk . They just lost many customers today if that is the case !

Grace S.

Yelp
My mom's birthday was this past Friday, and as I am a college student we decided to stay somewhere relatively close. Needless to say, this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The view from our room is beautiful- overlooking a courtyard and the ocean and the staff are absolutely exceptional. In particular, Randy at the check-in desk was extremely knowledgeable about the property and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. He gave us great recommendations, was extremely kind and even questioned us about our experience when we returned from our outing! I would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking to take a relaxing trip to the panhandle !

Yelp
Long story short I'm in the process of looking for a wedding venue. Came across the Pearl and got really excited when I saw they offered an intimate wedding package. Come to find out that info was inaccurate and they no longer offer that package anymore even though it was still posted on their website. Fine I moved on and found another place but still thought it would be nice to have a private dinner there since there will only be 7 of us. They wanted to charge $4000 minimum for this. Absolutely absurd and clearly after my interaction with them they only want your money and don't seem to care about anything else. I had even considered us staying at the hotel during our wedding week. But due to my horrible experience with them so far I will not be giving them a single cent. Very unfortunate as this place seemed perfect for our needs and clearly they don't care.

Betsy K.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to stay at the Pearl for 2 nights so that my daughter and son in law could have a couple of date nights during their vacation. We had a room that opened to the pool which was very convenient for us so that I could eat ice cream on the patio with my granddaughter. The temp of the adults only pool was much too warm for my liking. The hot tub spills into the pool and it wasn't very refreshing with an outdoor temp of 95. Brunch in the hotel restaurant was quite good. Only negative was the darn flies that kept buzzing the table. We have an issue with flies in Florida this summer so we understand they are difficult to keep out. Special shout out about the St Louis style gooey butter cake. It was excellent. You must try it. Many thanks to the chef's wife Amanda Rolens for letting me bring some home! More about the room: I can't forget to mention the bed. It was so comfortable that I am trying to find the mattress for my home. The room temp was perfect for sleeping. Lots of amenities to take advantage of, including bikes, beach bag, umbrella and chairs setup on the beach and free valet parking, which is a must in this little town. I couldn't afford to stay here on my own so this was quite a treat to experience.

Yelp
Took a recommendation and it was one of the best places we have eaten in 30A. Price was our waiter and he did a great job. We had the crab cakes that were utterly delicious. They were a little small but the flavor was one of the best we have had. Everyone in our party was satisfied. I especially liked the filet. It is pricy but it is expected in this area.

Yelp
My review is of the restaurant / bar. I have been several times for drinks and food. The service is Terrible and food was ok at best. I was there today and the service was so bad that numerous people left the bar. I had one Moscow mule and it was $25 (by far the highest in the area). Not worth it at all!

Yelp
The outdoor lounge hostess was extremely rude. The patio area had many open tables and we were simply looking to grab a cocktail. She was rude to the parties in front of us and behind us. We will not be back. Highly recommend Pescado rooftop lounge.

Yelp
Shame on you. With only four tables to juggle and a few people working, we picked a table which had a view of the Gulf of Mexico. The prior guests items had still not been cleared from the table. We felt it was fine because the seating angle view of the waves seemed too picturesque to pass up. This was a highly recommended place to experience. My wife and I were celebrating a recent personal success. I expected a grand evening on the coast at a memorable venue. My mother took me here a few years ago and I had a special place in my memory bank for the Pearl. Just to be clear we were on the rooftop and not in the restaurant downstairs. Nevertheless the short version of the story is that after 18 minutes of sitting at the dirty table and seeing another guest walk in and get served after being there for 30 seconds we decided we would cut bait on this plan. We own three locations of an international food brand. We are patient. We are understanding of volume based businesses and the pains of delivering exceptional service. In a seating area with four patrons and enough staff to personally handle each table, I have only 18 minutes of patience. Verbal acknowledgement of being right with us in a moment would have sufficed. As a customer, I don't demand too much attention. Whether this were Taco Bell or the Four Seasons, just acknowledge us. That's getting to first base. We weren't looking for a service home run or culinary superbowl. Just clear the table, take a drink order, come back for the food order. You don't have to smile or have small talk with us, but having zero presence angered my wife. It puzzled me for sure. We found out the reason for this performance. God had another plan for us. We went to Caliza in Alys Beach and had an experience worth telling 1000 people about. We have already described the Pearl vs Caliza experience to a dozen people over the past 24 hours with more to follow. It leaves us with a bitter feeling. After working weeks in the food business without a day off and getting through a rigorous spring break crowd, we didn't expect to have to grovel for a menu and get a dirty table cleared. My wife blitzed over the main desk to share her disgust. I waited outside for that storm to be over and we went on to plan B, which will now be plan A when in the Rosemary Beach/Alys Beach area. The last chance to fix this would have been for equally inattentive front desk staff to appease her and convince her to stay with whatever customer relations skills they have. The power and blessing of having a guest in your establishment is priceless. To let us walk away with this feeling is something I harbor no resentment toward their business. I just feel badly for an owner who could do much better, managers who should drive better performance and motivation of their team, and guests that also leave disappointed/empty handed. Sadly, my wife feels of course having darker skin on this property may have been the reason the other guests were attended to. Why not, I was thinking same thing as I watched this all unfold. See our review of Caliza in Alys Beach and then you will get the other side of the story. What a great night it turned out to be.

Yelp
This hotel is stellar because of the location, the rooms, the spa, the rooftop bar, and the hospitality. My lovely bride and I stayed here for a long weekend for Valentine's Day. We had a nice terrace with two comfortable chairs overlooking the gulf. Our room was light and airy, and the housekeepers keep it very clean. We loved the deep-tissue massage in the spa. The rooftop bar serves a better-than-average hamburger and a delicious red-snapper po' boy. This is definitely a place where we would like to return to every year.

Yelp
Hotel experience is unknown but the bar and restaurant is a horrible experience. Do not waste your time. Food is over priced for what you get. Sure it's understandable to pay higher prices for the area, but the quality is not there. Customer service is down the drain. I shouldn't have to choose how I have to pay my money. Servers are selfish. If I want to pay the bar for my drinks, I will.

Yelp
This review is for the deposit/refund process. I cancelled for our 5/7/21 stay on 3/22/21. Despite receiving my cancellation confirmation on 3/23/21, I still have not been issued a refund. I reached out again on 4/2/21 and was told I would have my deposit refunded no later than 4/5/21. My credit card company told me today (4/6/21) that "The Pearl" has still not released the funds. I have phoned and emailed multiple times and cannot get a resolution. For this "high end" establishment, customer service is severely lacking. Do not book expecting an "easy refund" process should your plans change. The deposit is a 2 night stay, so a large amount of cash that I am left struggling to get refunded.

Yelp
DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN. Most of the staff is lovely but you can't bring kids to the pool and they dent us on a long walk to another pool, told us there were towels and there weren't any. We were clear on how many adults and children and we got one queen bed for a family of five. They want couples period.

Yelp
Loved our experience at the rooftop restaurant with incredible views of both the ocean and the pool! My husband and I spent all day at The Pearl starting with a couples massage, lunch on the rooftop and a relaxing afternoon at the pool! The service in all 3 areas was awesome! We can't wait to go back !

Yelp
My work awarded me a 4 night trip for my wife and I. We could go anywhere in the US and we chose The Pearl. Our family vacations often in the 30A area and always wanted to stay at The Pearl without our kids. A true luxury and romantic getaway. Full disclosure, I am never one to complain especially in these Covid times but our stay at The Pearl was very disappointing. Amid COVID we knew things would be different but when you are spending close to $700/night on a room there should be some luxury attached. Below are some things that need attention. Communications - Front desk to food service were not consistent. We were told the bar was open when it wasn't and were never told upon booking of the tight restrictions on dining. Food Service - Not acceptable to have no food or drink if it rains. The rooftop bar was closed due to weather and the main lobby bar and grill closed due to sanitation. To pay this much and have no where to get a drink or food for 3+ hours. Unreal. Please consider contracting with a local food provider (food truck) if you all cannot accommodate. 8 pm no room service? Again list of options where to get food for late arriving guests or do room service, Peal Specials with limited items Mini bar - not cleaned and bottle of OJ open and half consumed when we arrived Room was cleaned on 7/14 but not vacuumed. No shower gel or replacement soaps Concierge should be more proactive checking on guests and requests - usually they looked bored as we walked to the pool - underutilized and not present. Perhaps the worst is our room was not cleaned on 7.15. Bed not made and room halfway cleaned. Honestly I have never been at a hotel where this has happened We were so disappointed as we stay at high end hotels and enjoy traveling. Sadly we thought this would be an experience to remember. We made a conscious decision to stay in 30A at The Pearl so we did not have to work so hard. No cooking, cleaning, dragging stuff to the beach, etc. We worked harder to enjoy our stay here vs renting a home or condo at double the price. We will never stay here again or recommend the hotel to our friends. As guests you need to know how terribly disappointing this stay was. Kyle at the front desk should be commended. He was honest and always helpful.

Yelp
No... this place has three stars or less for a reason. I went in all excited for a great evening of college football and the bartenders gave me auch a horrible attitude. One literally responded, I hate sports and these damn TVs. I had to ask if I did something wrong and she said no, I just get sick of this. This is the worst atmosphere and their staff forgets that it is not about them, it is about the customer. I bought one drink and left and walk down to Shades Bar & Grill. I recommend you do the same before you waste $20 on a drink. I am successful in business for a reason, I never forget who's the customer. Check yourself and remember who is paying the bills.
