"We appreciated this upscale pub’s Nordic-minimalist take — plenty of wood but lighter than a waxy interior, complete with a fireplace and dried flowers behind the bar — and its serious focus on food, sourcing ingredients from two small farms that promote biodiversity and regenerative farming." - Coolstuff Team

Just wow. 11/10. As a person who was a local as of 4 days ago, boy am I sad to leave this place. (I know, I know, the picture in this review isn’t great quality- I didn’t want to be that person putting on her flash) but holy smokes. The smoked beet tartar is out of control- but you need to use the lemon! Or maybe not.. but the lemon made it even over the top. Third time here, in love with everything I’ve eaten (maybe minus the side of Mac and cheese, needs breadcrumbs!). Service is phenomenal. Everyone here is trained so well and that I love most is the sweetness, the kindness, I overheard the person training staff. Really wonderful environment and the music is impressive. The drinks are superb, every bar tender I’ve encountered is so knowledgeable and talented. Immensely grateful to see such a bipoc staff. Will be coming back for a date night so soon.

We had a wonderful experience at The Pelican Room, Pelham’s newest gem. The moment you walk in, the upscale brasserie style decor sets the tone - elegant, modern, and inviting. The food was excellent. You can tell there’s real talent in the kitchen. The drinks were great. We’re excited to see what’s next from The Pelican Room. It’s a much needed spot for Pelham and already feels like a promising new staple in the neighborhood.

We came for brunch the 2nd weekend they started offering it but the restaurant opened this summer. It feels like they’re still figuring out staffing and other logistics but the atmosphere, cafe and food are great. My friend ordered the strawberry mocha latte and I had the matcha. After trying my friend’s latte I asked for some strawberry syrup on the side to add to my match and it was a 10/10. However, they did charged me $1 for the small dish of syrup. For food, we ordered the pelican platter, the roasted cauliflower salad, and the side of black pepper bacon. The highlight of the pelican platter were old bay tater tots and the pancake. The pancake was thick and fluffy, and it came with this delicious strawberry sauce. The roasted cauliflower salad was also great, but it had a lot of parsley and the cauliflower wasn’t very roasted. The black pepper bacon was extremely peppery, we had to scrape some off to finish the last slice.

✨ The Pelican Room ✨ One stop in Westchester you need to check out — located in Pelham, and honestly… this spot is stunning!! 🌟 I tried one of my new favorite cocktails, “I’m Mister Sun”, and wow… flavor on another level. 🍹 For food, we went with the French Dip au Jus and the Alfredo Fettuccine with truffle — both absolutely delicious. 🍴💛 The décor is chic yet classic, with beautiful lighting and stylish furniture that truly elevate the space. The vibes are cozy, sophisticated, and perfect for hanging out with friends, a date night, or enjoying a late-night crafted cocktail. 🥂✨ Definitely a new Westchester gem to add to your list! 💫 @westchester_wonders

Came here for my friend’s 40th birthday. I convinced everyone to come all the way from Manhattan. Needless to say, expectations were high. Kal and the whole team made us feel at home. We enjoyed the food, got the best table in the house, and enjoyed excellent service the whole time. Pizza, burgers, deviled eggs, and pigs in a blanket were hits. The vibe is amazing. Make sure to get a reservation for the speakeasy. It’s an unforgettable experience. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere.

Amazing addition to the village, with a speakeasy vibe and a menu to back it up. Evolving menu, something new and delicious to eat and drink on each visit. Recommend booking ahead to enjoy the speakeasy vibe in the primary dining area, but service just as good at the overflow seating. Cafe also a welcome addition for proper espresso and pastries

The Pelican Room is hands down the coolest place in Pelham. There are many cute places, but none as genuinely, authentically hip as this place that Cal has built. Every detail about this restaurant from the playlist, to the tiling, to heck, even the bathroom decor is expertly designed. And that’s not even mentioning the incredible wait staff and food! The Pelican room is officially home to the best burgers in Pelham, and the mushroom side dish is mouth-wateringly delicious. Even if you don’t live in Pelham, trust me when I say that this restaurant is worth traveling to.

Excellent date-night spot. We enjoyed the everything-crusted Salmon, the Parisian Burger, and several cocktails including the Amigo Viejo and Mister Sun. The Amigo Viejo is good if you like slightly bitter drinks (not everyone does), and the Mister Sun is fantastic. One thing worth mentioning: their french-fries almost steal the show because they're so good. Service was excellent, ambiance was fun, and there were people coming and going at the bar all night as well. The rumor is that there's a secret event space, though I have yet to see it. Their coffee is also very good, if you're stopping in for a cup during the day. I enjoyed a well-prepared cappuccino earlier in the week.
