"We appreciated this upscale pub’s Nordic-minimalist take — plenty of wood but lighter than a waxy interior, complete with a fireplace and dried flowers behind the bar — and its serious focus on food, sourcing ingredients from two small farms that promote biodiversity and regenerative farming." - Coolstuff Team

I love this place!!!!! The manager and host were very sweet! Our server was so kind. The food and drinks were delicious!!!!! The portions were big, I ended up taking food home. Love the ambiance too, it’s giving speakeasy. Tbh I might consider filming in this restaurant. Check it out!!

Just wow. 11/10. As a person who was a local as of 4 days ago, boy am I sad to leave this place. (I know, I know, the picture in this review isn’t great quality- I didn’t want to be that person putting on her flash) but holy smokes. The smoked beet tartar is out of control- but you need to use the lemon! Or maybe not.. but the lemon made it even over the top. Third time here, in love with everything I’ve eaten (maybe minus the side of Mac and cheese, needs breadcrumbs!). Service is phenomenal. Everyone here is trained so well and that I love most is the sweetness, the kindness, I overheard the person training staff. Really wonderful environment and the music is impressive. The drinks are superb, every bar tender I’ve encountered is so knowledgeable and talented. Immensely grateful to see such a bipoc staff. Will be coming back for a date night so soon.

We came for brunch the 2nd weekend they started offering it but the restaurant opened this summer. It feels like they’re still figuring out staffing and other logistics but the atmosphere, cafe and food are great. My friend ordered the strawberry mocha latte and I had the matcha. After trying my friend’s latte I asked for some strawberry syrup on the side to add to my match and it was a 10/10. However, they did charged me $1 for the small dish of syrup. For food, we ordered the pelican platter, the roasted cauliflower salad, and the side of black pepper bacon. The highlight of the pelican platter were old bay tater tots and the pancake. The pancake was thick and fluffy, and it came with this delicious strawberry sauce. The roasted cauliflower salad was also great, but it had a lot of parsley and the cauliflower wasn’t very roasted. The black pepper bacon was extremely peppery, we had to scrape some off to finish the last slice.

✨ The Pelican Room ✨ One stop in Westchester you need to check out — located in Pelham, and honestly… this spot is stunning!! 🌟 I tried one of my new favorite cocktails, “I’m Mister Sun”, and wow… flavor on another level. 🍹 For food, we went with the French Dip au Jus and the Alfredo Fettuccine with truffle — both absolutely delicious. 🍴💛 The décor is chic yet classic, with beautiful lighting and stylish furniture that truly elevate the space. The vibes are cozy, sophisticated, and perfect for hanging out with friends, a date night, or enjoying a late-night crafted cocktail. 🥂✨ Definitely a new Westchester gem to add to your list! 💫 @westchester_wonders

We had a wonderful experience at The Pelican Room, Pelham’s newest gem. The moment you walk in, the upscale brasserie style decor sets the tone - elegant, modern, and inviting. The food was excellent. You can tell there’s real talent in the kitchen. The drinks were great. We’re excited to see what’s next from The Pelican Room. It’s a much needed spot for Pelham and already feels like a promising new staple in the neighborhood.

We dined on Saturday night 11-15 and we were super excited to dine here. The restaurant is beautiful in every detail down to the restrooms. We ordered a few drinks Chicken Liver Pate, Biggie Back Dates, Roe & Revelry, Smoked Beet Tartar, Pelican Brief Burger, Poivre Royal, Earthstone Chicken and Sweet Heat. The drinks were quite good. The food is a little bit of a different story; The Pate was excellent and the dates were good. The beets and avocado need more texture as the beets are soft and avocado was not chunky but more of a puree additionally needed more lemon or acid and seasoning. The Roe and Revelry;the potatoes weren't quite hot. The burger was ordered Medium Rare and arrived medium well and the bun didn't seem fresh. The steak while cooked properly both meat and French fries weren't hot, more luke warm. The chicken wasn't a crispy skin more rubbery skin and the Pizza the crust was gummy. The service that was also not well executed was our server it was strange almost robotic like. We ordered coffee and they said they were out of it. While we truly were excited about experiencing the restaurant it fell quite short. Sadly we were disappointed and will not return.

The Best Culinary Thing to Happen to Pelham—Ever. I am not exaggerating when I say The Pelican Room is the most exciting culinary addition Pelham has ever seen. Full stop. My family moved to Pelham from Williamsburg, Brooklyn fifteen years ago—back when every corner had a hidden gem, every block had a vibe, and great food was just expected. We’ve always loved Pelham, but we definitely missed that city energy, that edge, that level of craft. For years, Bistro Rollin filled that void with its warm bistro soul—a place that actually reminded us of Pastis and Balthazar. But The Pelican Room? It’s on a whole other level. From the moment you walk in, the décor is absolutely stunning—resplendent, intentional, elegant without being stuffy, and effortlessly cool. You instantly feel transported. It’s the first place in Pelham that genuinely gives off that “you are somewhere special” vibe. And the food… my God. Every plate is perfection. Not just good—top-notch, dialed-in, chef-driven, thoughtful in every detail. The flavors have depth. The presentations are gorgeous. You can taste the confidence and creativity in every bite. This is the first time in 15 years that I’ve said, with total sincerity: We finally have a restaurant that rivals (and in many ways surpasses) the best of NYC. Pelham needed this. Pelham deserves this. And The Pelican Room delivers beyond all expectations. If you haven’t been yet, go—immediately. If you have, you already know: this is not just a restaurant. It is a gift to our town. Welcome to Pelham, Pelican Room. We’re obsessed already.

Came here for my friend’s 40th birthday. I convinced everyone to come all the way from Manhattan. Needless to say, expectations were high. Kal and the whole team made us feel at home. We enjoyed the food, got the best table in the house, and enjoyed excellent service the whole time. Pizza, burgers, deviled eggs, and pigs in a blanket were hits. The vibe is amazing. Make sure to get a reservation for the speakeasy. It’s an unforgettable experience. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere.

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a Friday night. Although this restaurant opened less than two months ago, it is already impressively popular so reservations are definitely recommended. We sat in the front room by the door. You could feel a bit of a draft every time someone came in or out, but it wasn't too bad. The decor was tasteful, with an old world vibe. Lighting was dim. To start, we shared the truffle and gouda croquettes. An order came with six pieces and was served with a blue cheese sauce. These were delightfully airy and crispy, though the portion size was a tiny bit small. For my main, I had the black truffle fettuccine. The truffle flavor was mild and a bit tangier than I'm used to, but the mushrooms were perfectly tender and the sauce was pleasantly creamy. My husband had the Parisian burger and enjoyed it. To drink, I had the Bow Thai. You could definitely taste the rum and it was nice and fruity. They forgot to give us utensils for our entrees, but otherwise, service was good. The owner was friendly and stopped by our table to check if everything went well, which was very appreciated. This is a great addition to the neighborhood! I'm looking forward to trying their pizza next.

Yelp
The bar is insane. The drinks incredible. The food delicious. One of the chillest upscale but not pretentious places in all of westchester. Get in to this place before it gets known too much because you won't be getting a table here soon. The burgers are juicy, the cocktails are fantastic, the vibe is unlike any of the tired old westchester Italian joints. This place is the real deal

Yelp
New cafe in town - soon the restaurant too! There's a lot of nice attention to detail for the decor and aesthetic. The coffee menu is small but solid. The pastries are from Balthazar. I can't wait to make memories here!

Yelp
We stopped by to try their Happy Hour Menu. We were very pleased with the service and food. The Pelican room is a laid back upscale atmosphere with awesome drinks and food. I ordered the house speciality Peach Peach and I was extremely happy with my choice. We also ordered the poppy seed piggies and all I can say is wow!! Delicious is an understatement, a great presentation and the flavor was definitely on point. This is a great chill out spot.

Yelp
The food and service as well as the ambience are wonderful at this new gem of a restaurant in Pelham. I've only visited twice, but I'm very happy with everything. I've experienced thus far. I think people of all ages would love it, though it's not a place for small children. They do have a kids menu, if you decide to bring your children with you. The bar is fabulous, and the mixologists do a good job. I will definitely attend again. I wish they're happy hour was longer than one hour, and I wish the seats were more comfortable. But it's a small price to pay to have the stuff dates.

Yelp
Wow!! The most exciting new place in Pelham right now. We got together for a gender reveal party last night. Cal was able to accommodate 17 of us in the front room which gave us some privacy because we are a LOUD bunch. It was so much fun, staff services were great and the food was absolutely delicious. Chicken and oh the asparagus dish! WOW! The speakeasy looks like so much fun! Can't wait for happy hours here!

Yelp
The Pelican Room was disappointing . I ordered the Steak Poivre called a NY strip. Steak was cooked well but it was Some no name beef not NY strip The fries were ordinary. This was 56$ an outrageous price for this food!!

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and cocktails. Would highly recommend for dinner or drinks. I can't wait to go back and also try the cafe for coffee and pastries.

Yelp
I'm so glad I gave this recent addition in Pelham a try. The menu was creative and has something for everyone. Vibe is relaxing and comfortable - feels like a place you've been going to a long time even though it's only a few months old. Service was good and I met the personable owner. Really enjoyed my evening there and I look forward to returning to try more of the menu.

Yelp
The Pelican Room is a bonafide experience. It took a long time to get here but now that it's here, oh boy is it ever so good. Absolute top marks for decor and ambience -- seating as gorgeous as they are comfortable, quite spacious, and great lighting. We were seated next to a table of screaming harpies but that's hardly a ding on the establishment. The bar is visually impressive, those bar seats are awfully inviting. I ordered the Smoking Barrel -- it was... okay. For a bourbon and tea concoction, I couldn't pick up any tea in the drink. Still, enjoyable enough. Let's get on to the food, shall we. The Devil & The Lyon deviled eggs were surprisingly good and brilliantly balanced. The French Dip sarnie is definitely big enough for two -- the trick is to eat it over the fries so the fries can soak up the dripping jus. Big marks for the Everything Crusted Salmon. The Sweet Heat pizza absolutely lived up to the name -- pronounced sweetness with just the right amount of heat. I hate to use the word balanced again but here we are. I'm saving the best for last. The Parisian Burger, ordered medium rare. This was a transporting burger. I can't remember ever ordering a burger in Paris. But there was something about this Kalico cut beef (what even is that) with brie and cornichon that sent my head right back to a Parisian bistro. So juicy and rich. The fries were outstanding as well. Just a 10/10 burger. I want to go back to try the rest of the menu, but I wouldn't be mad if I feel right back into this Parisian Burger trap.

Yelp
What's not to love about The Pelican Room! From the staff to the most perfect cortados and the fresh pastries, this place is truly next level. Love it here!

Yelp
The restaurant and cafe's ambiance is wonderful. We've been at the cafe during the day and had dinner last night. The grilled Cesar was awful, don't order it. You'll be disappointed. The prosciutto and burrata pizza was just okay. We will return and try other things, hoping because of their newness, they'll get better.

Yelp
Amazing everything!! The ambience and decor is unique, soothing and really high end. The owner and staff are extremely attentive. Food is delicious. The bar is very cool and can be a destination itself.

Alex G.

Yelp
I've been waiting for this place to open and it hasn't disappointed me yet! I've only come for the cafe portion so far, but the coffee is very delicious as is the matcha. The barista was super friendly and efficient. The strawberry matcha is to die for, definitely recommend. The cafe is simple with a few chairs and tables but lots of great natural lighting. The dining area/bar is in the back, it has an intimate lounge feeling. Very excited to try the food next time.

Yelp
Arguably the best restaurant and bar in Pelham. Finally a vibe and menu that tastes like your favorite neighborhood restaurant in Brooklyn/Manhattan. Extra points for possibly being the only bar without TVs on 5th Ave. The vibe is casual/cozy enough for a 5pm weeknight meal with the kids but also sophisticated enough for a date night. Everything we have tried has been great. The menu keeps growing. I'm excited to try their brunch once they start brunch service.

Yelp
How happy we are that this restaurant opened, it is such a great addition to Westchester!!! We had the salmon, the Parisian burger and the cheesecake, all were delicious!! The decor is very cute and the staff is super friendly. They have a large choice of extremely original cocktails!! We will be back next week!!!
