I came here for dinner on a Friday night. Although this restaurant opened less than two months ago, it is already impressively popular so reservations are definitely recommended.
We sat in the front room by the door. You could feel a bit of a draft every time someone came in or out, but it wasn't too bad. The decor was tasteful, with an old world vibe. Lighting was dim.
To start, we shared the truffle and gouda croquettes. An order came with six pieces and was served with a blue cheese sauce. These were delightfully airy and crispy, though the portion size was a tiny bit small.
For my main, I had the black truffle fettuccine. The truffle flavor was mild and a bit tangier than I'm used to, but the mushrooms were perfectly tender and the sauce was pleasantly creamy. My husband had the Parisian burger and enjoyed it.
To drink, I had the Bow Thai. You could definitely taste the rum and it was nice and fruity.
They forgot to give us utensils for our entrees, but otherwise, service was good. The owner was friendly and stopped by our table to check if everything went well, which was very appreciated.
This is a great addition to the neighborhood! I'm looking forward to trying their pizza next.
