The Peninsula Riverside Serviced Apartments

"We recently spent two nights here with my son and partner. The free parking was a huge bonus, as parking in Perth can be notoriously difficult and expensive. Our room was clean and tidy upon arrival, and the staff were happy to provide fresh towels when we requested them. A nice touch was the coffee machine in the activity room on the ground level. However, we did experience a couple of issues during our stay. We checked in on a scorching 39-degree day, and unfortunately, the air conditioning in the dining area didn't quite reach our main bedroom. A ceiling fan in the main room would be a welcome addition. Additionally, the sheer curtains in the bedroom, while visually appealing, offered little in the way of blocking out light. As a result, no chance for a sleep in. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and with a few minor tweaks, this place could be even better."

We loved our stay here. Our family room had a lovely view of the cbd and the beds were very comfortable. The staff went above and behind for us. We had a late flight and they secured our luggage so we could head out for the day. We were able to relax in the guest lounge when we returned until 9pm. There was a lovely lady at the front desk who was beautiful with our kids. We hope to return one day

I've been living at Peninsula Riverside Apartments for the past month following my relocation to Perth, and I must say, it's the ideal place to stay, whether for a short visit or a long-term stay. The river view is simply breathtaking, offering a peaceful and scenic environment that makes every day feel special. The apartments are exceptionally clean and tidy, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. There's also plenty of parking, which adds a great level of convenience. The staff here are outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their exceptional service has made my experience here truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Peninsula Riverside Apartments to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Perth.

My wife and I had stayed at the Peninsula Riverside apartments previously in their 1 bedroom apartments and had been thoroughly impressed so when it was time for another staycation we readily booked here again. This time however it was with our 2 children and our experience was radically different. Besides from the executive suites, no other family-sized apartments had outside views, which while disappointing, was communicated on their website prior to us booking. We did request a particular room layout upon booking, and while we understand this cannot always be guaranteed, there was no communication from the hotel that we would not be receiving this. Also, while technically we could fit all of us into their “family suite”, it was far from spacious. You can definitely see this hotel prioritizes couples and those willing to pay for their highest priced rooms over all others. Also, in terms of the room layout, only being able to access the single bathroom by going through the master bedroom is not ideal for those with children. On the topic of bathrooms, a door between the toilet and bathroom would be appreciated, as they are separated by a door from this is clearly possible. Overall, good location let down by very claustrophobic rooms, limited ventilation, no views, and a poorly laid out room cannot be given anything more than 3 stars.

Well located apartments on the river with easy access to the city via public transport ferry. Hard to find accommodation with parking included so that was fabulous. Apartment clean and comfortable. Twin beds have space between them which made it more comfortable than many other places who seem to think that a sheet separating beds is sufficient!! Reasonable pricing, smooth check in. Only negatives which were small is the early construction next door and no door separating bedroom from living space but will be using these apartments again.

Amazing location!!! Pub and coffee shop just around the corner with swan river view! IGA on the side. Park facing the swan river, it was so relaxing place. I would stay in there again and again.

What a find this place was. Right in the heart of South Perth and on the foreshore. Walking distance to the zoo, shops and Mend Street Jetty to catch the ferry across to Perth. Yes it is older but everything is clean and tidy. Our studio, while it didn’t have views, was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. We were given a breakfast box each morning which I thought was fab and was enough for you to start the day. Check in was easy and the staff were very nice and informative with things to do and see. Free parking on site which is a bonus. Definitely will be back to stay.

Stayed here several years ago but would choose to stay here again for view over city and being close to the zoo for example. Ferry is a couple minutes walk away that will take you over to city. Room was good, neat and comfortable too.
