It is located 15min away from Paris city center, pretty easy to get to as you only need to catch one train. The train station is around the corner from the hostel, roughly 2min walk which was extremely convenient. There were a couple groceries stores nearby, including one right next to the building. And plenty of restaurants around. The only downside of the location for me was the amount of homeless people by the park and hanging around close to the hostel entrance. The receptionist that greeted me was lovely and explained everything to me clearly. The room was pretty nice even though it was a bit small. The shared bathroom is the reason for my rating not being 5 stars… there is no drainage right outside the showers so the water runs out to the sink area and we had to walk on puddles. The inside of the showers and toilet stalls were clean though. The rooftop area is pretty nice, enough seating both inside and outside and it was pretty tidy right after breakfast time.

We came around 19:00 for drinks and was told we could sit at the rooftop. We were second on the waiting list. We waited inside for about 45 minutes until we were finally seated outside, which was fine at first. Since our plan was to dine, we ordered dinner. It took 30 minutes for someone to come take our order at the rooftop. By the time we placed our food order it was about 20:40. Then, at 20:55,the lady came and told us we had to leave the table because a 21:00 reservation was on its way. Why take our order then? Why seat us in the first place? We were starving and looking forward to our meal, but ended up leaving after only paying for the drinks we had at the beginning. I understand that the waitress who seated us may not have known about the reservation, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. You cannot just remove paying customers from their table without informing them in advance. The rooftop view is amazing, but unfortunately that is the only good thing about the experience

Reception is nice and helpful. They quickly proceeded with check in and explained everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All necessary utensils are available, except the liquid soap and shampoo in bathroom. My room was very well planned, with air conditioning and individual charging sockets. I asked for adapter for my charger, they gifted it to me! It worths a lot I would say! Location is nice, there is a Burger King next door. Totally recommend!

I honestly enjoyed my stay at the People Nation Hotel so much! 🥹❤️ This was my first solo trip and I was highly anxious to be a in a completely new city, but the staff was very welcoming, friendly and supportive. I booked a private room and was a bit nervous about the noise from the hotel’s roof terrace, since some people complained about it here, but I had absolutely no issues with noises, although I’m very sensitive to noises. Yes, you can sometimes hear tables and chairs being moved, but that’s nothing ear plugs can’t fix. Also: big thank you for making my very spontaneous late check out possible - that was highly appreciated! 🥰 The price was fair, but I do think there should be at least two towels included when you book a private room - or at least a bath mat, I honestly can’t imagine the staff likes the wet floors. 😅 anyway, I’ll be back!

Positives - Felt secure, reception, need card key to access life and room. Rooms each have a curtain and bedding clean and comfortable. Rooms well insulated. Showers were clean and adequate. Close to metro and nice neighbourhood. Negatives - It's not a social / friendly hostel, there is no communal space to sit / get to know other travellers (the balcony photo is a restaurant and bar that public use). Conversations happen in the bathroom. Staff pleasant not overtly welcome. The rooms are a bit stuffy there are big balcony doors to open but no window to leave ajar, road is quite noisy. A functional clean hostel without social room or other rooms to sit in, so lost that travelling spirit for me. I appreciate city hostels costs are high to have spare space.

I stayed here for one night, but unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The Wi-Fi was completely down during my stay, and when I asked the staff, they mentioned there was a technical issue — same excuse for why cashless payment wasn’t working. One thing that really stood out was being charged for luggage storage even before check-in. I arrived around 12 PM (check-in is at 3 PM), and they still asked for a fee just to store my bag. That felt more like a money-making tactic than a service for guests. On the positive side, the toilets and washrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.Overall, decent facilities but poor management and lack of basic services made the stay disappointing.

The location of the hostel is nice. During my stay, I happened to encounter a group of students who were also staying there. Although we were in different rooms, they were very noisy in the hallway at night and left the bathroom in a very dirty state, which made the first few days of my stay rather unpleasant. However, after they checked out, it was much better. The rooftop restaurant is great!

Absolutely loved my stay here, I stayed at the woman’s dormitory for 3 nights and I really had a fun time there, the other guests were super friendly to and i made some great memories. The location is pretty good. I lays somewhat outside the main city square but with the metro lines 6 and 9 its very easy to treat to the center. The hostel is super clean and had a beautiful interior. The beds lay comfortably. I was scared it would me to cold at night but there was a thermostat in the room. You also have a lot of privacy because of the curtains which I appreciated. The bathroom looks really great and modern but I do recommend bringing slippers because at the evenings the floor gets really wet. The dinner area had a beautiful view over the city. Only downside was the breakfast prices. It was 10 euros but there is not a lot to choose from. Overall I had a pleasant stay here
