This is a one of a kind charming hotel with lots of history. Beautiful art and architecture and it’s just been remodeled. It’s close to everything downtown - walk or grab a city bike just outside. Staff was kind and helpful and the full time concierge was great. Watch the documentary on the hotel from your room’s tv. Fascinating. Our suite room was so pretty and plenty spacious for three of us. The sheets were divine! I also loved the touches like having little lights in the room under the bureau and in the bathroom that came on automatically at night so you can make your way safely in the dark to the restroom. Thoughtful and helpful. Great shower. Don’t miss the beautiful paintings and the ballrooms on floor seven. Perfect experience.

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway weekend and stayed at the Pfister. We have stayed here numerous times and always have the best time. Beautiful historic hotel, great rooms, comfortable beds, lots of amenities all at a great value for your money. Plus, it’s a great location to take advantage of all downtown Milwaukee has to offer. We’ll definitely be back!!

The property is nice and has a lot to offer. The staff is friendly and accommodating. For the price and reputation, I had a few disappointing moments. The room was nice, but I found it to be dusty. Some towels had small stains on them. The room came with a coffee maker but no glasses or cups, so they had to be requested. Parking in the area is not safe. I think for the price, I would stay somewhere else.

Best Hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom was elegant and modern with a shower so nice you don’t want to leave. The cafe breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely stay there again.

Very beautiful hotel. The rooms are great. The pool and club lounge have breathtaking views. We felt very at home here for the most part.The staff is amazing outside the lobby lounge manager. The guy seems to have a serious superiority complex. The cafe staff are a bit too loud about their personal lives while talking away from customers but overall had a good experience there as well. I'd certainly recommend, but I would definitely go for cocktails elsewhere.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we ever had! From the check in to check out, everything was absolutely perfect! The staff is so gracious and kind and they literally are there for you for whatever you need. Also, this was the most dog friendly hotel we have ever been too. We brought both our girls with us and the staff treated them as they were paying guests! I am definitely coming back and staying at this amazing hotel! THANK YOU!

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. You walk in and it feels like you're in Europe once you see the artwork and interior. I want to particularly shout out Lisa J at the front desk. She immediately set the tone for our trip and treated me and my dad like family. Such a wonderful personality, and extremely professional. Shocked to learn she had only been there a little over a week - she seemed like a veteran. Only reason I took a star off is because my shower drain was clogged and no one ever came to fix it. Other than that - it was a very cool hotel.

Best service I have had in years, especially the bell desk. The artwork is beautiful in the rooms and common areas. The pool area is clean with plenty of towels and a great view. We will definitely stay at the Pfister again. (Note I would skip the cafe and go to one of the excellent cafes in the neighborhood.)
