"Paradise with On-Site Spa The Phoenix, a little slice of paradise on the edge of San Pedro, features more modern architecture than most buildings in town, as well as modern amenities. Rooms are one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom condominium suites that feature luxurious eat-in kitchens, bathrooms with walk-in showers and Jacuzzi tubs, large living rooms and laundry facilities. Each suite also has a balcony or patio, and almost all suites are just steps away from one of the pools which are the focal point of the resort. The larger main pool cascades into a shallower lower pool and is saline chlorinated, as is the 55-foot-long lap pool. A pool bar is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Red Ginger restaurant is open daily for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as brunch on Sunday afternoons and serves a tapas menu on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. There are also business services, an on-site spa, and fitness and yoga centers. Rates begin at $325 per night during low season for a one-bedroom beach view suite."

The Phoenix provided all I wanted and so much more. The staff are incomparable. If we needed anything they were available and surpassed every expectation.||The pool is perfect for a few minutes of the entire day with staff ready to accommodate all your needs. Need a quite bite, it will be delivered to your poolside lounger, along with one of their special cocktails. After numerous trips there it feels like visiting family.||Located in a walkable community, yet a golf cart will get you anywhere on the island. And, if you need help booking any or all of the amazing tours and restaurants, you have only to ask. I finally learned how to relax on vacation, it's called "The Phoenix".

I’ve been coming here with my family since 2014 and have been the last 4 years with my husband. We absolutely LOVE it! The location is amazing, the rooms are fantastic (comfortable, modern, spacious, so clean), but the staff are really what make the experience. They are so kind and attentive. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the bartenders and cleaners, everyone is so wonderful. The views are also amazing!

This is our second visit to The Phoenix and we love it. Everything is taken care of for you. Tropic Air tickets to the island, ground transportation to the resort, they offered to give us free transportation for our luggage and groceries to our second hotel stop north of San Pedro. We had a showere issue and it was fixed in lass than a half hour from when I alerted the front desk. Everyone there is top notch. Did I mention the free happy hour every day or the free classes every day; chocolate, rum, wine, and painting classes. We will definitely be back.

The Phoenix Resort in San Pedro was spectacular. The communication before our arrival was seamless, with helpful details about Tropic Air transportation and amenities.||The resort is perfectly located right on the water and within walking distance to the best restaurants like Palapa, shops and great boat cruises (Island Dream Tours). Our suite was spacious, clean, complete with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private balcony with ocean views.||We loved the two pools. The Red Ginger restaurant on-site served delicious meals throughout the day, even at the pool, and they have daily happy hour and yoga classes.

This was a remarkable hotel in a remarkablly beautiful place. Service, location, room were all great. Belize is certainly a tourist friendly place and when I changed my flight from Belize city to SP to an earlier flight the Tropic Air rep coordinated with The Phoenix to have my transfer from the small SP airport to the hotel available. It was seamless. The property of the Phoenix itself is one of the best on SP. great pools (which is relatively rare) and the rooms were great with really nice personal touches. Our two bedroom suite— really a condo- was first rate with nice kitchen, utensils, bathrooms, and comfortable beds. All you need. You will not be disappointed.

You can't ask for a better place to stay in San Pedro. The staff is more attentive than anywhere else we have ever stayed. The front desk accommodated our every request. To top it off, free rum tasting class, chocolate tasting class, wine tasting class, and of course free happy hour. We love The Phoenix.

The phoenix resort is one of the best resorts on the island. The attentive staff is absolutely amazing. Every time I’ve stayed they were so nice and made sure our stay was always amazing. They absolutely go above and beyond for their guests.

What an amazing place! And an amazing staff! My room (A9, I think) was absolutely incredible. Full, modern kitchen. Air conditioning. Washer/dryer. Wrap-around balcony. Top floor looking right over the water. Wow. I’m pretty sure the room was bigger than my actual house. Lol||Great location. You could walk from the airport if you really wanted. But you don’t have to. Because The Phoenix arranges transportation for you. And every bar and restaurant you’d ever want to visit is just down the beach.||Marisol at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Great staff all around. I ordered beers and pizza to entertain some friends just before the restaurant was closing and they delivered everything with a smile.||Such a great place. If you’re going to San Pedro, this is the place to stay. Oh, did I mention the beautiful pools?
