The Phoenix Resort

Great resort with great service. The entire staff was amazing. Everyone was really friendly and offered great recommendations. We didn’t have to worry about any details after letting them know what excursions we wanted to do and where we wanted to eat. They even checked in on us midday while we were out on a full day excursion. Location is convenient. Property is well maintained. Perfect for families.

We were tired of just getting a quick glance at ports of call on Caribbean cruises so we decided to spend a week in San Pedro, Belize. This resort is in a great location surrounded by excellent restaurants and all the snorkeling and scuba options you want. The area is very walkable but lots of folks choose to rent golf carts too. The staff are super helpful and accommodating. Their guest services have helped us arrange for numerous excursions both on the water and the mainland. The suites are spacious and comfortable.

Don’t let the 3-star hotel designation deter you from staying here. The place is 5-star hospitality. We booked a 2 bedroom suite. It was super spacious and well appointed with all the basics in the kitchen (including a stocked Kuerig), large TVs in every room, washer/dryer, and huge balcony. This is a suite only resort with only 27 units that we could see so it’s very calm. They have so many amenities included that we could not possibly take advantage of them all (onsite restaurant, bar with free happy hour drinks daily, daily free activities (we did the wine tasting and s’mores making), transportation to/from airport, etc). Twice daily maid service. Check in we were treated to a quick tour around the property, explanation of everything, and presented a small bottle of rum and snacks for arrival. We came for scuba diving, and our dive center was literally steps down the beach from the resort. Perfect location. The pool was nice and everyone at the resort was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Our son had an allergic reaction at a restaurant, and they walked us right over to the ER, waited for us to make sure everything was OK, and then continued to check up on us the next day. So incredibly thoughtful. Their concierge was super helpful getting any arrangements made that we wanted. They called any restaurant we needed to check in on and also made reservations. When we looked up best dessert on the island, turns out the hotel restaurant has the best dessert. Everything useful was within walking distance of the hotel. We were just two blocks away from an excellent coffe shop (Green Espresso Coffe Bar) which we visited every single morning.

We had a beautiful, clean, well equipped condo on the ocean. The employees at the Phoenix are so nice, helpful and friendly. We have been to the Phoenix several times and will definitely return. It’s the absolute best accommodation in San Pedro. They get an A+ in my book!!

This is my favorite place to stay in San Pedro. It’s right in the middle of town, it has a great pool, the rooms are perfect and nicely priced, and free a happy hour is a nice add-on. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Second time here! Seriously the best staff and resort to stay at! Feels like family!! Love the turndown at the end f the night! They leave the best chocolates! Plus open bar every day from 5-6pm! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Staff! Beautiful Space and great service and food. This space is perfect for relaxation and is very close to local businesses in case you want to explore. Wake up and enjoy the view by the pool!

The service and amenities were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Red Ginger has quality food. The location was perfect for scuba diving. We would stay again.
