I got a sausage thin crust and the garlic cheese toast. The toast was really good. The pizza was good, but I expect the crust even the bottom, to be crispy when I get a thin crust pizza. Service was good and the food came out really quick. I'd eat here, again, for sure.

This is one of my favorite pizza places 😋 😍. Love the atmosphere and the customer service 😀 is always great 👍 👌. Very very yummy 😋 😀 😊

ordered a 16" combo; $29.30 before tip. took it to go after a 15 minute wait. no complaints about the ordering or the wait. the pizza is certainly plentiful, but I'm not digging it. this is my second visit recently, and I'm going to look elsewhere. absolutely impossible to pick up a slice without it falling apart. crust and some of the meat has a cardboard texture. I remember this restaurant as having high quality pizza. not sure what has changed.

I love coming here the atmosphere's is so chill especially when you come a little bit later at night they have fire pits going it's super chill and the pizza is delicious all the toppings all are always fresh.

They say that Pie Pizzeria is the best in town, I'm not sure about that but they are def good pizzas! Delivery guy was nice and the menu do have other dietary options. Thx for the awesome and yummy pizzas 🍕

We love this location and the food. The team there is always so sweet. They suggest the strawberry balsamic wings like its the best thing since pre peeled bananas. They're aight but everything is still tasty and delightful.

Of all the pie locations, this one is my favorite. The staff is very friendly and fun to interact with. The atmosphere is excellent and being able to Dineout on the patio Either upstairs or downstairs is a big bonus. I absolutely love their Pizza and in my opinion, it is the best around. The portions of food are generous and there is a ton of cheese.

For our first time here, the service was great. The cashier (sorry, I didn't get your name) gave us her recommendations, and the strawberry balsamic wings were pretty darn good. The pizza portions are generous, you can tell they're not stingy. The place itself has a very cool vibe, with convenient and decent parking outside.

Such great pizza! We've been on the search for great pizza since we moved to Utah almost 6 months ago. We've really like The Pie. We ordered a Chef salad to split and a pepperoni and cheese pizza and asked for it extra baked. The salad was great with red onion, black olives, tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, and plenty of cheese. The pizza came out piping hot with edge to edge cheese. The sauce is excellent with just a hint of zing and no metallic undertones that we've experienced at other places. The crust is excellent. If you are from Buffalo, NY, this crust has reminded us the most of Buffalo pizza. If they had cup and char pepperoni, that would have been epic. Great food, fun interior, really nice staff. We'll be back to try a thin crust next time.

Every time I visit SLC I must get this pizza. Extra cheesy, great sauce and fresh toppings. Veggie options available. Cheesy pull aparte are soooo good. Love the locations with their creative brick interior, plenty of seating, upstairs seating. Great for larger groups. Service is fast and consistent.

Service is insanely awful. We walk in at 9:55pm and they close at 10:30 and before we could even order the manger says they close in 30 so go to downtown if you want town to sit and eat. I walked out so fast you don't want customers so be it. It's empty as hell in there anyways ! Awful service be better

I visited The Pie recently after several years of absence, and it was better than I remembered! The chicken bacon ranch pizza is so good, and although I didn't get some on this visit, I have fond memories of the cheese breadsticks and the yummy ranch. This location is much more family-friendly than the location by the U, and I felt much more comfortable there with my toddler than I expected. It would have been nice to get some instructions from the server though--we had to figure out where extra plates, forks, etc. were by ourselves. I'll be back!

I have wanted to check this out for years. We are big fans of the underground pie. I love the pie and always forget how great the pizza is. I tried a calzone this time. It was fine but I should always order the pizza. Take my advice. The spot upstairs was spacious and we will be back.

One of the best pizza places in salt lake. The filling is inside the pizza and not on the outside. I love their Hawaiian pizza with white sauce .

Was recommended by several locals so I went there. The dough was good, they dont put too much sauce (which was a tad spicy) and xheese was really good too. Most of the toppings were great but their pepperoni was not good. I saw a few people getting their largest pizza which was 27inches? That looked insane. Id love to try one of those

The pizza here is greasy but it's SOOOO GOOD. I had the best experience ordering to go. Each working was a freaking sweetheart. Mack specifically was so kind. Love this place

What a disappointment. I used to like to go to the pie to enjoy their very many different salads. Overtime, their salads have become so chincy.That i'm pretty sure I won't be going back. And I won't recommend their salads. I ordered their chicken caesar salad which in the past was always really good. They served you a good size salad. This time when I got my salad, there was half.The lettuce there used to be and my chicken was so dry that I had to break out my own banana peppers and put some of that juice inside of there just to get my chicken a little bit wet. Unfortunately, the ratio of salad to vegetables that they add like shredded carrots.They used to added a generous portion of parmesan cheese. It turns out the parmesan cheese that they have is now what they have in those packets that you can get from little caesars. The salad dressing is spot on. But the rest of my salad was dismally disappointing. I mean it's lettuce, chicken, cheese, peppers, Croutons and dressing. I guess I should be happy that the price of my salad didn't go from $11 dollars to $15 dollars. I don't mind paying 15 dollars, But I would mind paying that much for what I received this time. The company I work for used to enjoy buying salads and pizza for our parties. Thankfully we found someone in the same neighborhood just down the street. The pizzeria has been in the city forever in a day. The ambience of the pie is still fun. I just hope when we take a group out next time.That the food will be spot on.

Quite possible the best pizza I have eaten! We did delivery which arrived quick and hot! We selected the mountain of meat and let me say that is a true description!! I am pretty sure I have never had a pizza so loaded with toppings. We really over bought because it was so loaded no one could eat more than one-two pieces but left overs were great too.

We came here within an hour closing. The staff was amazing except Michelle. I feel like we are really nice people but she wasn't having it that day. I understand it was a Saturday, it was an hour till closing, and there was a few people. But, that's not an excuse to have an attitude. The pizza was delicious and was made quick. After we ate, we tried the campfire calzone. It's definitely big enough for 2-4 people to share. Everything was amazing, except her.

We ventured to this pizza place due to the following and the ability to get GF pizza for the spouse!! Service, top notch, we stopped to get takeout and staff was super supportive and full of information. When you look around there are years and years of awards which made us super excited. Once we got back to our AirBNB, we feasted. These pizzas are amazing!! Stop by and grab some to go or eat in!

I've been going to The Pie forever, and this was the first time I had eaten inside the restaurant. We had a group of eight people, and the second floor accommodated us perfectly. The ambiance is a quintessential, casual pizza place. The service is fast and friendly. You order your pizza and other things at the counter and then seat yourself. They have plates and silverware available for you to grab yourself. You also get your own drink. The pizza is the best in town. You can request that they double cut the slices because they are huge otherwise. The flavor is spectacular! My favorite pizzas are the extreme veggie and the Stromboli. Their ranch dressing is also perfect on their salads or to dip your pizza in. They also have a spectacular takeout service!

The largest pizza will feed massive amounts of teenagers but you might need a truck to haul it. Any combination is a crowd pleaser but don't forget their exceptionally delicious ranch for dipping. I'd skip most of the sides if you aren't dining in. If you are dining in, it's a very pizza-joint experience with live music on occasion and friendly staff. I love this place and am always happy with any pizza we get!

Great Ambience, awesome upstairs patio with fire pit. The whole place is rad looking. And the pizza is delicious. Fun to go with a huge group or just two. The Pie will not disappoint.

A wonderful experience. The service was super friendly and the pizza was very good. The edge of the crust was perfect, but, as with many gluten free crusts, the part under the toppings was a little undercooked and gushy. I would definitely get another pizza from this restaurant, but I would ask them to leave it in the oven a little longer (I'd rather have the edges a bit burned if the center is fully cooked).

Ordered a 16", 3 topping (bacon, pep, jalapeno) and it was delicious. A ton of cheese and the jalapenos were just spicy enough without being overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this place to others and while we only got carry-out, the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant made it so I wanted to try dining in the next time I went. Definitely a great pizza spot to try if you are in the SLC area.

Visiting from out of state and this pizza came up in many gluten free community searches so we tried it out. Pizza crust was amazing, thinner crust as normal but with some nice chew. Many options including bread sticks . Service was great, they offered suggestions and conversation. There are several locations loved the decor and vibe. Glad we found this spot

This may be the best pizza in Utah! We all had salads. My wife and I shared the chicken ranch pizza and her sisters had the veggie pizza. There was plenty leftover too!

Food is always excellent!! We eat here at least once when we come to SLC to ski twice each season. The main floor has limited seating with the primary dining upstairs. Unfortunately, this means a separate trip up and down the stairs for your salad and then your main entree 10 min later. You also have to take a trip downstairs refill your drink. Wish they would put a beverage machine upstairs since it unlimited refills. Still.....we will be back when we return in March!

Despite minor flaws, this pizza is a great choice of you are looking for something both on the cheaper end and very filling. Their pizza's standard thick crust and base makes this place unique. It has a great soft and semi-pillowy texture that could rival an Olive Garden breadstick! On top of that, it is delicious. The Pie's biggest strength is the fact they put down a big load of fresh, flavorful full fat mozzarella cheese on their pizza, with some Italian herbs included. For how thick the crust is, they NAILED their cheese game! It is why I think the pizza is good. However, they fall short in the sauce department. With the amount of pizza per square inch you are getting from here, the amount of sauce they put on the pie falls short. There is too high a cheese to sauce ratio. The sauce's flavor sits in the background. Additionally, there is no moisture barrier between the sauce and crust as it bakes, which results in a thin, doughy gum line on the crust. Not good. This can also happen if the pizza base is too thick which, unfortunately, is also what makes them unique. I'd get this again if I needed to feed 2 people for under $25, and have leftovers. However, it isn't my favorite pizza in Utah. 7.2/10 pizza. 4 stars on Yelp is a fair assessment.

Just saying I always get Good A** pizza here like I can taste every ingredient but this last the bread smelled like fish & The pizza did too!

I swear this place didn't use to have pizza this good. Or at least not loaded like this. I couldn't even pick up a slice without sausages rolling down my hand, and hopping off my arm. I don't even care if the table isn't the cleanest, because that runaway ingredient isn't getting away! And also, I'm quite certain it's meat juices dripping down my forearm and not just oil. The seating is kind of messy and if you're sitting upstairs, you will have to walk downstairs to pick up the food and also refill any drinks (including water). We weren't served with any plates or utensils. I'm sure they may have been somewhere, but I didn't see where. Even still, despite this, the price and the pizza is well worth it. The sizes for even their pull-aparts are generously large. I'm a voracious eater and I still had to get a box to bring a lot of leftovers home.

The new (limited time) specialty pizza, The Guap, is literally the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life (cuz the Pie don't miss on a specialy pizza). This is a plead to the owners to make this a permanent menu item. I know the chorizo price cuts into your profit margin, but I would pay more for this pizza. Its that good.

Oh my goodness do I love The Pie. It's the greasiest, ooeyiest, gooeyiest, cheesiest, most delicious pizza. Does it give me a stomach ache every time, because I have stomach problems and can't handle certain foods? Yes. Do I still continue to consistently order it? Also yes. I hadn't treated myself to one of their plain cheese pizzas in a while and ordered one last night. So much cheese, so much deliciousness, it hits the spot every single time. The flavors are good, it's not lacking or missing anything. When it was delivered to me last night it was piping hot (but not too host) and the gooey cheese was still stringy and made for a wonderful cheese pull upon grabbing my first slice. This is a classic Utah spot that is locally loved since they opened up their first "undreground" location by the University of Utah. They have vegan options, apps, salads, and a gluten free menu.

WHEELCHAIR USER: Came in for a quick bite. Parking was adequate. I had enough space to chair from the side of my van. The meatball slice was good. Service was prompt and helpful. I moved my own chair to make room for the wheelchair. The order counter is quite high for the average wheelchair user. The self serve fountain drinks are high from a wheelchair point of view. Nobody offered to help me with the drinks, but I'm sure they would have if I had asked. Fortunately my chair raises significantly. The exit door closed pretty fast behind me, probably too fast. Be careful if you're in a chair. The men's restroom was a serious problem for me. I didn't face a tape measure on me, but I'm sure something isn't right. There very little turning radius. Granted I have a large-ish power chair with footrests, but I got stuck for a few long minutes when I was just trying to pivot in one place. The stall door opens inward and there is a significant corner cutting off what would likely be a large enough space. A large garbage can was placed next to the toilet blocking side access to the toilet. I talked to the manager who promised to pass it on. Bathrooms work when the requirements of the law are followed. WHEELCHAIR USERS BE FOR-WARNED. The food experience was great. Accessibility was not.

The Pie is a Salt Lake staple! It always hits the spot. I only treat myself to the Pie once or twice a year because it's so heavy but oh my gosh, it is SO GOOD. Good for you? No. But I've been a loyal customer since my college days almost 20 years ago and that's never going to change. This was my first time at the South Salt Lake location and I was worried it wouldn't be as good as the one by the University of Utah. It was exactly the same and the friendly and quick service also matched the original location. :) There's plenty of parking as well!

We are from out of town and stopped by after a day of skiing. This is your typical order at the counter pizza place with beer, with lots of sports memorabilia. Lots of pizza options, a bit overwhelming - Buffalo chicken ranch pizza (4.5/5): SO GOOD! Wow, I usually am not a fan of buffalo chicken pizza, but this was was amazing! Perfect flavor, just the right amount of buffalo sauce that adds the perfect kick of spice. Garlic ranch is heavenly. Falls apart but so good - The pie's combo (3.5/5): we had this one 2nd, and it does not compare to the buffalo chicken pizza lol. There were almost too many toppings and not enough sauce. It was tasty but just okay Will definitely be back for the buffalo chicken ranch!

The staff is very friendly. The establishment was pretty busy but we still got our order within 20 minutes as promised. Super delicious pizza and the inside dining area is very cool looking.

This is such a fun pjs e to go. They have so many options for vegans. I love it!! The view of the mountains is breath taking too. Pizza with a view. Kid friendly, fun things for them to spy with eye.

I love the Pie Pizza but have bad experiences with food and service at this particular location twice ‍ even after tipping very well. I'll avoid this location in the future.

We ordered from the Pie last night and it did not disappoint! We opted for pickup, and when we phoned in our order, the person on the phone reminded us to put on a mask when we came in to pick up the order- I love this as the safety expectations are set before I even leave my house. We ordered a gluten free cheese pull apart and a large root beer. I love that the gluten free is large instead of small- so many places just do personal gluten free pizzas (and then charge large prices) this isn't the case at the Pie. The box is also marked gluten free. The pull apart was absolutely delicious, even good cold or reheated. My husband loved the root beer. We'll definitely return to the pie!

Amazing pizza, which deserves 5 stars. We had the chicken-bacon pizza, which was perfectly savory, and a solid, tasty crust. We finished with the cinnamon dessert pizza, which was the best dessert pizza we've ever had. Friendly staff and good service helped the experience. 5-stars for that, too. Everything else - parking, wobbly table, those terrible cheap metal chairs, weird restaurant layout, etc. deserves a 4-star rating. Overall, a really good experience.

We enjoy a variety of pizza and @thepiepizzeria is right there at the top. Cool vibes and great taste. The crust is flavorful, moist, and is not the the kind you toss aside. Their toppings are all high quality and plentiful. There are some great specialty flavors, traditional pies, and many options to build your own winning creation. We had the Stromboli, pepperoni, ham with pineapple, ham with olives, and cheese. Do you spy the pepperoni? It is peeking out from under a deep layer of gooey cheese and trust me, there is more than one layer of pepperoni under all that cheese. They have a number of locations spreading from their classic basement location near the University of Utah, and each has the same great pies. Their only downfall is a lack of a Utah County location.

This was some of the best pizza I've ever had! Can't believe I'd never heard of this place before. We got 4 pizzas, cheese bread, and a cinnamon desert pizza. They were all great! I highly recommend the Berry Bacon pizza. Strawberries on pizza sounds strange, but it was very tasty and refreshing! We will be coming back here soon!

We order combination with jalapeño to the bar the pizza was delicious they just didn't send any plates and no fork for the salad . We managed maybe we should of communicated better . It would be nice if they just included plates when delivered to a bar .

Really enjoyed the food. I ordered takeout and arrived about 10 minutes early. My order was done and waiting for me. Loved the s'mores calzone. I would highly recommend that.

I love The Pie. Whenever I have pizza elsewhere, it just doesn't compare to this place and I'm so happy they have a location that's closer to my home. This building is new and has 2 floors as well as a semi-heated patio. You go in and order at the counter and it's open seating. They'll call your name when your food is ready. The parking lot is a little tight, but I've never had an issue finding a spot for lunch or dinner. For lunch they sell slices of cheese, pepperoni, or the pizza of the day for $2.75 and you can add on a side a salad for a few extra bucks. That's a killer deal in my opinion! Every pizza I've had has been amazing, but my all time favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Ranch, so do yourself a favor and get some!
