Nice vibe at Pig & Tinderbox with plenty of space for bigger groups. Had the coffee, Filipino chicken, and a pizza—everything was decent and satisfying. Casual atmosphere and solid service make it a reliable pick in Tamworth.

Kath and team has gone above and beyond to make us feel special and treated us like gold. This is one birthday Dorothea will NEVER forget. Thank you and PS: the food was exceptional!!

Really lovely date night spot. Super romantic vibes. Was a bit pricey but food was delicious and service was super friendly.

We celebrated our 9th anniversary here, and I had made note in the booking as I was hoping for a more intimate table. We were greeted with a chocolate Happy Anniversary, the venue manager came and introduced herself and gave us free cocktails and thanked us for dining with them. I cannot rate the experience highly enough, we felt so special and of course the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we got was perfectio.

Their food never fails to disappoint. Some or most on the menu I thought were overpriced although I don’t mind spending money on food lol. Service otherwise 10/10. Definitely recommend if you visit Tamworth.

The atmosphere and staff are amazing! The pork skewers are pretty good but the rice that comes with it is a bit basic.

Had a really great fresh meal here on the peak weekend of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. We sat outside and the staff were friendly & accomodating, my salmon was beautifully cooked with beans crunchy (just how I love them), hubby’s calamari was good too. We’ll be back to try more of the menu.

Good venue, such a shame about the food. It’s concerning when it literally takes 2 mins for your meal to arrive after you order. It was pre-cooked and reheated and arrived lukewarm. When I sent it back they simply reheated it yet again and it came out so dry it was inedible. The food was definitely not fresh and the salad was so old the tomatoes were turning. I’ve been here twice and I definitely won’t return.

This was our absolute favourite dining experience during our 10 day road trip. We chose healthy salad and vegetable based dishes, generally hard to find. These were spectacular and delicious. Filipino chef and culinary influences as well as other clever fusions, like Spanish and Thai. We had a surprising and wonderful dessert. Purple yam pannacotta with chili strawberry sorbet and other surprises. Very clever, yum and not sickly sweet......Perfecto! Thank you! Can't wait to return for more

This review is on the basis of substandard IT. I cannot load the webpage on a mobile, and the menu file name is specific to a date. Meh IT. It means that the Yelp menu URL I added will break at some point in the near future. If I ever get the chance to visit, hopefully the good experience will overwhelm this issue. It really does look like a great place. If so, I'll happily add a few more stars, however such a popular establishment really needs to get with the times.

A good all rounder restaurant and bar. The menu is Australian fusion with some very interesting options. We had baby trout and chicken burger. Wood fired pizza is on offer too. The salads were fresh and exciting. The quinoa and fig was delicious. The only criticism would be there is no carbs besides chips on offer, no rice, no bread. The very good staff asked the kitchen if they could offer us some garlic pizza bread with which they obliged. Just a tip those small offers can drive up your sales. All up a very enjoyable experience. Recommended if you're in Tamworth.

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. The pizza was a good size and delicious. We also had a side of potatoes, which we really enjoyed. Service was friendly.
