Cosy and rustic atmosphere and a great winter spot with delicious homely dishes. The service was warm and welcoming. We tried the roast chicken with a perfect crispy skin and jus. The lamb was fantastic and the polenta was creamy with the perfect balance of parmesan. Life was so good, my stomach so happy and I had to have the chocolate chestnut torte. It transported me back to France in Ardeche. Love my life! Thanks for the experience. We will be back😋

I love the ambience of this venue it is such a pleasure to sit in the gorgeous decor to enjoy your meal. I have dined here a couple of times recently with the Europa menu. I’m looking forward to trying the new iteration of a Spanish menu starting next week. The friendly and welcoming staff are great at explaining both the food and wine menus.

Wow! We absolutely loved our lunch at Piper St Wine Co! First, the ambiance and hospitality. Brendan, our host, is clearly a hospitality legend. We had several outstanding courses: the beetroot, tarragon carrots, lamb, and sardines. Every dish was 11/10. We tried a few reds on the wine list and every glass was a knock out. The Syrah, Tempranillo, Grenache, and Nebbiolo were all so good we purchased wine to take home. We sat on a couch in front of the beautiful arched windows inside and enjoyed several courses. We were even allowed to bring in our dog Billy. Highlight of our weekend. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thanks Brendan!

Had a fantastic visit to Piper St Wine Company. The wine bar is somehow spacious yet cozy, with an eclectic and stylish interior. With an ever changing menu, there is a wide selection of sharing dishes to choose from, and a suitably diverse and interesting wine collection as well (as the restaurant's name would suggest). The service is what made it such a memorable experience - especially Eva, who went above and beyond the whole night for us. We loved her wine recommendations, infectious energy and warm and hospitable nature! Thanks Eva and team, we would love to come back sometime :)

We had the most incredible experience at The Piper Street Wine Company in Kyneton. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Watching the chef work the hand-operated meat slicer was a highlight—such a unique and personal touch that set the tone for the evening. We were lucky enough to enjoy the chef’s choice two-course menu, and every bite was outstanding. The quality, creativity, and value were beyond what we expected. It felt like a hidden treasure of regional dining done right. We were so impressed that we booked again on the spot for their upcoming Spanish menu featuring a visiting chef. Can’t wait to return—this place is a must-visit for food and wine lovers!

This is a great place to visit if you love wine, it is after all a wine bar. And spirits and beer! I wasn't here when the kitchen was open, so can't rate the meals. I did however, enjoy one of the many craft beers available. The wonderful Eva was bang on with her knowledge of both wine and beer (a rare gem)! The court yard out the back is the perfect place to bring friends; which is what I'll do when I next visit. Please give it a go 👍😁

I can’t fault this place – every visit is a delight. Brendan and his team are outstanding, from the beautifully curated wine list to the perfectly matched dishes and the fabulous fit-out. We feel truly fortunate to have such an exceptional venue right on our doorstep.

Just devine! Had been on a foodie and art birthday weekend with friends and walked past at lunchtime on our last day. 5✨️ on absolutely everything! I can personally only rate the food as I don't drink alcohol - the menu was small but a very close 2nd in french flavours and service, to our saturday lunch at famous Du Fermiere. We were also over the moon that our 2 small dogs were welcomed to sit with us while we dined inside, even though there was outside seating available - unheard of in Melbourne and a lovely touch. Thank you for a superb end to our weekend!
