On the Grid : Pitt Market

"Relaunched in 2019 with a huge indoor area to complement the outdoor offering, this street food market has a fine selection of eateries and, er, drinkeries. It’s open weekends only from noon. For just £2 on the door you can access to some of the best food by the city’s hardest working traders. Fried chicken sandwiches, sourdough pizza, gyoza, boas, smoked meats, we’ve got you covered. Live music accompanies a relaxed setting, friendly for the whole family, including those four legged ones. High-quality drinks come in the shape of Barney’s Beers or Smith & Gertrude wines. Summer sun or winter frost (they have a fire pit), The Pitt is the place to enjoy a long afternoon session with friends." - fourcolourblack

Never went to the market. Visited the food stalls at the weekend. Good night and vibes. Lovely food 😋 Right beside the beach. Parking not the easiest as it's just on street

Went later in the day so a more relaxed atmosphere. Great location, the views are amazing. A pity that it isn't open til slightly later. Very friendly staff on the in house bar. Definitely recommend!

Great selection of food trucks selling everything from Korean chicken to apple pie and custard. Prices looked reasonable, although £7 for a fresh juice seemed a little high. It was good, though Only 4 stars as didn't eat on this visit but will return, especially for the saunas and plunge pool that looks fun. Parking is limited but there's a bike rack and a lovely couple of miles walk to Cramond where there's plenty of parking

Amazing destination in Edinburgh. We're very lucky this has landed and seems to go from strength to strength. Amazing street food on offer from an array of exceptional vendors. Love music, DJs and chilled hangout vibes. Excellent coffee spot by the sea... It has it all. Highly recommend visiting!

We discovered this place whilst walking along the sea whilst camping at the local CAMC site. Great atmosphere, giving out feel good vibes. The beer was well priced for a city and good! We didn’t eat there ourselves, but those around seemed to be enjoying their meals; a variety of tasty street food

Great to have this almost on the doorstep. The amazing Pit market now at its new coastal path home. Tasty treats and chilled vibes. Great cocktails, scran and blether ❤️
