The pizza place was a perfect dinner spot for my family and I on our trip to Bryce Canyon. After a long day of hiking (and my carrying our kiddo) we were craving some carbs and decided to try the pizza place.
Pulling up and seeing the outside, I was expecting the typical 1980's pizza parlor motif; black vinyl seats, old carpet, checkerboard table cloth, carpeted floor, and borderline dirty. Stepping inside I was surprised to find a well lit restaurant with good lighting and plenty of natural light.
More striking however was just how clean the restaurant was. I don't know if it's the owner, the manager, the employees or all of the above, but someone really cares about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I personally witnessed the hostess clean AND sanitize every table within a minute of the parties leaving. In fact, we decided to switch from a table to a booth as a party was standing up and were in the booth within 45 seconds, albeit slightly wet. It's an odd thing to highlight but the cleanliness was notable.
The service was really great as well, it took between 15 minutes to sit down, put in our order and get our food which included a large pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, and a salad. We did notice it slowed down a little as the restaurant got full, but it was very fast for us.
The food itself was solid. It was definitely good pizza, we had some leftovers and ate it the next day, and it was actually even better then. That said, it wasn't necessarily to a point that I'll be craving unless I'm headed to Bryce Canyon. It was for sure the best pizza I've had in some time living in Utah.
