Excellent pizza, no flop, great crust. This is how pizza should taste. Worth the drive from SLC. Much tastier than The Pie, Slackwater, and Via313 imo. Outdoor seating is nice and the yurt is such a cool vibe to eat inside I’m sure. They grow their own veggies in their own garden beds as well. They also accommodate people who cannot eat gluten and yes, the gf pizza actually tastes delicious. I believe they use Caputo Fiorelglut gf flour, which is my preferred gf flour for pizzas. I tried both the gf and regular pizzas and they both had great texture. Shop local and small over big chains!

Google
Super fun place, great vibes and delicious food. We started off with the roasted carrots and they were very tasty, super unique flavor. Very glad we tried those. The cheese bread is also very good, it does not lack cheese. The sausage pizza was also fantastic. The crust has a great flavor to it. Nice and crisp crust with the perfect amount of chewiness. It was a little bit pricey, but worth the fun vibes.

Google
We had our grandma’s 80th party here in the yurt. It was beautiful and cozy! The food was amazing! A few of us have celiac and they were able to make our pizzas gluten free. The crust was so fluffy and delicious! The salad and carrot appetizers were also very yummy. Definitely will be going back!

Google
The best pizza in the US! I’ve been in Italy I have smth to compare with. It’s super cool and tasty. Stuff is friendly, the interior design is nice and cozy. The fact that they have oven from Italy really impressed me! Thank you so much, I’m definitely coming there again!

Google
This is the best “upscale” pizza I’ve had in Utah! Everything tasted so fresh and we loved that it was locally sourced. The marinated olives were delicious and we also loved their variety of hot sauces. We came in the winter when they have the yurt up and it was so fun to sit in! I would definitely recommend this place as the top restaurant in Midway!

Google
I never leave reviews and it's not like this place needs more of them, but I just can't help myself - occasionally you get the privilege to walk into a place where someone has poured their heart and soul into every detail and this is one of them. Fantastic thoughtful food, the cutest little location in every way, and the best vibes from all of the staff. Brought my two little girls for lunch and had just the most delightful dining experience I've had in a long time. Maybe it was just something in the air that day but I'm calling it - The Pizza Yard is officially at the top of my list for favorite restaurant. Places like this make the world a little better place to be. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Google
This was the best pizza I’ve had this year. We had the seasonal squash and margarita pizza. I thought the crust was “chefs kiss”. The sauce on the margarita pizza was a slice above what you’d typically expect. We loved the seasonal squash and thought the flavor was thought out and executed great. The staff were kind and let us in a few minutes before open, they offered great recommendations & helped the atmosphere feel welcome. Loved seeing all the books they have as inspiration for their dishes. We’ll be back

Google
Wood fired pizza. Simple menu. Cozy, well-designed interior. The seasonal salads are good too. We love the spicy honey, and the margarita (ask for extra basil). The margarita uses shredded mozzarella instead of chunky slices, so it looks like a cheese pizza with basil

Yelp
What a beautiful outdoor garden restaurant! This place was a random pick for us, and we were happy we did! It is a quaint house downtown with a huge outside patio and garden which is currently filled with vegetables, giant colorful hollyhocks and a fruiting cherry tree! There were wood picnic tables to eat on. We ordered 2 pizzas: the pepperoni and the Green one with lemony pesto sauce and crispy kale. The Green one was my favorite. The pizzas were 12 inch sized and priced like most fancy pizza places nowadays. The servers were friendly and helpful. We just loved the setting of this garden restaurant. They said we could pick and eat cherries off their tree, which we did! The only thing that would have made this a 5 would be if the picnic tables outside were clean.

Yelp
I love this place sooo much! It's a must if you are visiting midway or park city! I love that they have a fun variety of pizzas to choose from! I really love the hot honey and margarita pizzas! A good side dish would be the ricotta carrots! I think about those carrots all the time! Pizza is a good size and fun to get multiple ones to share! I love the vibe of this place! I've been in the summer fall and winter and it's always a great place to eat! In the winter they have huts and it's a fun way to end the day eating pizza! Price is not bad at all! The food is great quality so you are definitely getting your monies worth!

Yelp
Yum yum yum. Delicious pizza! I love their Margherita pizza so much. They also have a wonderful carrot dish with ricotta and pistachios that I would highly recommend. The staff is so kind, the pizza hits the spot every time. Worth the drive up to Heber for this alone! They have a nice little yurt when it's cooler and a patio when it's warm out.

Yelp
A great pizza option in Midway. Pretty standard pizza. The garden they have is really cool and we are hoping to try more of the options to get a better feel for the restaurant. The crust is crispy and thin. The flavors all work well together. We couldn't really distinguish between the Margherita pizza and the cheese pizza which is why we thought to try different options next time.
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to stop in and try a place we've seen a bunch. We started with the roasted carrots and the cheese bread. My wife loved the carrots, which also had cream and pistachios. I tried the hot honey pizza and my wife tried the gluten free pepperoni. My pizza was pretty good. My wife's GF was terrible. It appeared undercooked and was a gross texture for her. She just ate the toppings, which is a lot to pay for toppings only. The folks were nice, ambience was good.

Yelp
I've eaten pizza in some of the world's best pizza cities/joints, NYC, Napoli, Chicago, etc., and the pizza yard is right up there with the best of them. They have a unique style where you can see the different pizza influences that have helped create this extraordinary pie. The crust was a perfect marriage of crispy and fluffy. Sauce and cheese tasted so fresh that you could really taste their dedication to using fresh local ingredients. The pizza yurt was also so cozy. The warm fire made this atmosphere enjoyable even on a cold night. (Also very dog friendly, the owner even came out to pet and meet our dog) Can't recommend it enough and can't wait till I get to go back!

Yelp
We dined inside at your restaurant this evening around 5:30 ish (if you have cameras you might watch your staff). It would be a good thing to review safe/sanitary food handling with your staff. The two girls making the pizza are handling their phones then handling the dough - no hand washing, no gloves. Also touching their hair, face & eating. The young man that brought one of our pizzas to us licked his fingers after dropping it off, returned to counter to pick up pizza proceeded to cough several times into his hands and not wash them. Picked up the next pizza to deliver. The first pizza also had a long black hair under it between the crust and paper. I hope you receive this review as useful information.

Yelp
A fun pizza spot in the middle of Midway! I'd definitely stop here with family if you can; there's limited seating inside, but a big, semi-heated yurt outside that's fun to be in! We didn't wait too long and the portion size was decent for one pizza. We got The Mushroom pizza which was pretty good and had yummy mushroom flavor; although it could've been better with a sprinkle of salt and maybe some basil or hard, aged cheese on top, and a crispier crust! That's why I'm rating 4 stars. Overall though, a fun spot to eat at if you're in the area and craving pizza!

Yelp
Good but kinda pricey. 4 pizzas, 1 appetizer and 1 drink, $111 for 4 of us. Friendly staff and prompt delivery of food but not sure I'll be back.
google avatar

Alicia L.

Yelp
Great pizza. Fresh and local ingredients. Tasty and creative combinations. A limited menu as of now, which is tricky if you have diet limitations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Sweet design and location, but limited seating inside.

M S.

Yelp
Super disappointing. Unorganized and stressful. It took SO long for us to get our 2 pizzas. It wasn't busy. And the pizzas were very plain tasting. Fresh though! I just wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Didn't like that they only had some cans of drinks as well. Need better options. And NO kid options. Do I really want to buy my one child a $15 pizza when I know she'll only eat 1 slice.
google avatar

Kimberly B.

Yelp
This spot is so cute, enjoyed sitting and eating in the cozy yurt and I really enjoyed the wide range of pizza options. The service was great, it was very busy but they handled it well and when the wrong pizza came out by accident, they gave us the pizza and made the right one so quickly, which really was so kind of them especially when it was busy.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night after reading they use a lot of local ingredients. There are four large tables and bar seating. The menu is short but still good variety. The staff was very friendly and patient with us as we decided what to get. They have a Stokke Tripp Trapp for your baby to sit in which was super appreciated. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend making a stop!

Yelp
I never thought I would hate a restaurant sooo much. On the outside, it looks like a cute little mom and pop pizza shop so I was super excited since we were visiting from the city. We ordered 3 pizzas and waited OVER AN HOUR with no communication from the staff!! The place was not busy at all so I don't understand what happened. Three huge groups came to order same amount of pizzas and were given excellent service and received their food fairly quickly, which made my group very upset since our pizzas were pretty simple. To top it off, the prices of these pizzas were exorbitant and these were the WORST thinnest pizza I have ever tasted! Like are u kidding me?!? U are charging people 14-19 dollars per 12-inch pie and it looks and tastes this bad. Little Caesars is a gourmet pizza company compared to them.

Yelp
Food here is perfect for individuals or families. I will return in 2 weeks for more satisfying flavors!!! Nice people. Great job!!!
google avatar

Vivi S.

Yelp
My favorite places in midway staff is friendly and kind. I love that the dough is sourdough, it was the pizza so good! Also i forgot to take a picture of my kale salad but that was also really good!
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
Ambiance: loved the ambiance. Most Of the seating is outside and it is a nice garden with strong lights. A great place to eat outside. Service: service was good, they were very busy so it took a while understandably though. Food: I loved my carrots with Ricotta- it was fantastic. However the reason why I am not giving it a higher review was I just did not like the pizza. I got the peach prosciutto pizza and i did not like the crust at all. I don't know if it was a wheat crust or what but it didn't taste good. Other than disliking the pizza the rest was good!

Yelp
This is a quaint new spot in midway - the location is super cute as they've renovated the old property but maintained its charm. They've taken great care in curating a nice space with their design/ The pizza is pricey and a bit small but great quality. The dough, sauce, and cheese all hit the spot and the judging by the daily special when I went, I'd say this place has a lot of fun pizza in its future. The menu is short and sweet but that's a sign to me that there is focus on the quality of each item. There's no on-site parking but there is a grocery store, a park, and street parking all surrounding it which is convenient.
google avatar

Lindsey H.

Yelp
This was excellent pizza! We arrived right when they opened at 5 and it very quickly filled up. Friendly staff, interesting menu and delicious food. It is a bit squashed with a very small interior- plan to wait and be outside.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
Five Stars, totally worth the "trek"' from Park City. IMO it is the best pizza around - the sauce is delicious, the crust is completely on point...thin and crispy packed with flavor. A nice rotating simple menu, so you're not overwhelmed. Lovely outdoor seating in a garden. There are a few tables indoors too. Close to the public park in midway, if you're trying to occupy kids. The service was super upbeat and friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Good pizza, well baked, nice leopard spots on the bottom. The sauce and toppings were a bit weak, unfortunately. A thin pizza like this needs plenty of salt and acidity to bring out the flavor.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Came for lunch after tubing - the pizza was excellent and left an impression! Amazing flavor in the sauce and the crust is light and fluffy. Venue itself is cute and cozy. Would absolutely come back if I was in the area.

Yelp
Just when almost every other pizza joint in town closes up shop this little gem appears. Stopped by during one of their first soft opening days and ordered a margarita pizza from their somewhat limited menu. The pizza was delicious- dough was soft and chewy, all the ingredients were perfectly balanced (not too much cheese or sauce) and flavors in general were tasty! The location is perfect and they've done a great job with renovating the place. It was cool seeing how much they involved friends and the community in building up this place. Curious to see what they will do in the winter because indoor seating is somewhat limited, especially if it gets really crowded. Regardless, I'm psyched about this place!
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
The pizza was pretty good, the restaurant itself is cute, and i usually love a good local owned vibe, however doing prep out on the countertop in front of customers is definitely a unique method. Especially when customers can watch the suboptimal food-handling habits of the employees doing the prep... I think there's some growth that can happen here to get the whole experience to match the price and potential.

Yelp
We love The Pizza Yard! We stopped by for lunch with our four kids and loved everything about it. The design is absolutely beautiful, each detail felt intentional and sweet- elevated and welcoming all at once. There was plenty of parking in the back and even with all the tables full in the front and inside, we ordered five pizzas & the carrots and got our food quickly and had the back to ourselves in the garden. It was delicious! We hope to be back soon!

Yelp
New spot in Midway and it's GOOD!! First things first, such a community feel. Even their tshirts say we're all friends. Which by the way, they've got really cool graphic tees - I might go back tomorrow to get one. The menu is limited but good. We got the marg pizza, the hot honey, and the goat cheese one. Marg and hot honey we're super yummy (I'm not really a goat cheese person)! The dough is so soft and delicious. They have various oils, chili flakes, hot honey, etc that you can use as well. Limited seating inside but cute outdoor area. Just a quick note that the hours are a little funky right now - hours are posted on the door if you're interested. Really excited about this new place!
google avatar

Larissa H.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I think I would. I know they are new but We went when it was slow. For the price the pizza was so small. The apple pizza had no flavor, couldn't taste anything besides the crust. Two out of three were burnt. Margarita was fine, nothing special especially for the size and price. Hot honey pizza good flavor but small and expensive. 13" pizza for $20. Not impressed. We want to be supportive of new businesses, but what you get for the price. Won't come back.

Mary W.

Yelp
Our experience was mediocre at best. Not a lot of seating--the outdoor area is OK but the trees overhanging tables are covered in aphids! The pizza was greasy and a Margarita pizza consists is basil leaves and their regular cheese--in other words not a Margarita pizza! The price point was pricey too! I want to love small hometown businesses--but unfortunately I won't be going back or recommending Pizza Yard.
google avatar

Madysin F.

Yelp
I highly recommend eating here! Their pizza crust is bomb so you really can't go wrong with anything you order, but my very favorite was the hot honey pizza. It has pepperoni, pickled jalapeño, and hot honey. The combination of all the flavors is so good! We also tried the margherita and their special that night. Their menu is always changing and they use lots of local produce. We also had some really good (Utah made) root-beer! It's a cozy space that fills up quickly, but it is worth the wait.

James J.

Yelp
Took our kids here and the staff was so fun and amazing. Pizza was great too--we had to order another one because we ate everything on the first round. Great experience, highly recommend!

Yelp
Made a special trip to this cute little pizza shop so my wife could get a gluten free pizza. It did not disappoint. In fact we were so impressed we spoke with the owner and he sold us a bag of the gluten free dough base and taught us how to make the dough. The shop was cute and clean. And the pizza was fantastic.

Yelp
We love The Pizza Yard! We went 3x in one week. They missed a pizza on our order but made a replacement and were extremely apologetic. Their specialty pizzas are creative and delicious and salads are amazingly fresh. We will continue to go back.

Mishelle B.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to trying this place. We've been wanting to go for months since I live a block away from it. Saturday night we decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately we should've just stayed home and gotten a frozen pizza from Walmart and saved ourselves $50.00, we ordered to go and the pizza arrived cold. Like I said I live a block down from them. Less than a minute drive. The pizza had 0 taste, we ordered two of the meat pizza. The second one we had, probably had like a totally of 5 pieces of meat. $20 for a pizza is not worth it. I would have rather gone to Little Caesars. The dough also felt a little raw. Customer services was mid just like the pizza. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

Tim V.

Yelp
Finally decent pizza in the Heber/Midway area. Love everything about this place, proper wood fired pizza, great locally sourced ingredients and changing menu to keep it fresh. Will be a regular here.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
The Pizza Yard is amazing!!! Such a cute spot, so thoughtfully designed, and such a diverse and welcoming staff. I really love their focus on supporting other small local businesses. Especially the focus on local produce! So excited to have this spot in Midway.
google avatar

Kris P.

Yelp
Best za in town. You won't be disappointed. The ambiance and food is absolutely delicious. Great staff who is friendly and attentive as well.
google avatar

Amber R.

Yelp
Excellent wood fire pizza! Some of the best crust I have had. The menu has various specialty pizzas with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend!

Teresa C.

Yelp
Really good pizza and fast! The staff is very friendly and accommodating Definitely will return.

Mark R.

Yelp
Went there last night, Thursday and they were closed for a private event. Tried again tonight @ 6:25 and they laughed and said they were sold out of pizza, salads only. Done with this place.

Greg W.

Yelp
Great people, great pizza. What more could you ask for? Pizza and carrot dish were great. We waited a long time because the joint was super busy, but that's all good.
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
Delicious and well sourced ingredients. My only concern is that it will eventually become too popular and I'll have to fight the crowds!
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Tasty pizza, friendly people. Hot Honey my personal favorite and the kiddos love the margherita
google avatar

Loren B.

Yelp
Favorite pizza spot in Utah!! The perfect vibe for a date night inside and the best Gathering place for a group or friends or big family out in the yard!! So happy that the pizza yard has settled in midway!

Jim F.

Yelp
The pizza was tasty though it was soggy in the middle and flopped instead of folded. I like to pick up a slice and the point of the slice just drooped immediately. The flavor was good with very few toppings. I get that the owner went to Italy to learn how to make it right but his skills didn't necessarily get fully conveyed to his team. The outdoor seating was comfortable.

Malea H.

Yelp
Most disappointing Margarita pizza ever. Didn't even qualify as a cheese pizza since the cheese was minimal.

Ann R.

Yelp
Great Neapolitan pizza with quality ingredients from an authentic oven. Creative combinations

Camille J.

Yelp
Exceptionally delicious pizza, most beautiful space! The owner is so kind and shared stories behind some of the pizzas. Great merch.

Jesse M.

Yelp
Truly the best pizza in Utah, with perfected dough. Lots of rotating specialty pizzas along with great all-time favorites.
google avatar

Sage D.

Yelp
went there tonight and honestly was surprised by how delicious it was! the pizza was crispy but soft on the inside and the sauce and cheese were well made! the atmosphere was nice and the owner was there as well! loved it
