The Place Taipei

The Place Taipei is a 3 to 4 star rating hotel in the city centre of Taipei. Good ambience, clean, walking distance to Metro train line, Lala Port shopping centre, next door to a fast food and small grocery store. The staff are polite and accomodating, the included breakfast have reasonable food selection. An excellent hotel for budget minded traveler. (Provided by Trip a Deal).

The comfortable interiors and kind staff provided the optimal environment, allowing me to fully concentrate on my business schedule during my stay at this hotel. If I attend the annual ITF event again next year, I would certainly choose this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area for business. Thank you.

Fairly clean mid-range hotel. The sound proofing was very nice, even though the door to the hallway was still lacking in this feature; people in the hallways sound very loud. Bit surprised by how bad the proficiency in english is among staff, considering this does seem like a hotel that would target people on business trips. Staff itself was quite nice however. Breakfast was also nice if not a little inconsistent. For pasta: don't close the lid in the steam tray. As the name suggests, you just continue to steam the pasta, which causes it to be overcooked.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The service is great! The room is clean and comfortable. Even the location is a bit away from the downtown, but the LRT station is just opposite the hotel and the NanGang Exhibition Hall is just a few minutes walking distance away. It is a perfect accommodation for the exhibitors and visitors.

The Place Taipei is definitely a great place where to be accommodated when staying in Nangang. Excellent service, the breakfast buffet is amazing and the rooms and quiet and well equipped.

Breakfast was so nice. Room and equipments were simple and smart. But table is not useful for me to use PC or desk-work.

Very convenient location for computex. The staff are very helpful and friendly even when it’s late at night. The breakfast buffet does not have the largest selection, but they make sure that there is something for everyone and the quality of the food trumps a lot of the more expensive hotels in the area. The daily Taiwanese special is something to look forward to every morning. 10/10 would stay here again!
