The Place Taipei

The service is highly proactive, and the cleanliness and organization are excellent. Room: Comfort space Bed: Although it is smaller than my usual bed, the quality of the mattress is perfect, allowing me to sleep very well almost instantly. Restroom: Sufficient for a business trip; it is tidy and clean. Overall, everything is fantastic!

The service standard is indeed a big joke. Check in time supposed to be 3pm. We arrived at 3.30pm to check in and was told no rooms available for us while they are scrambling to clean up to make rooms available. There was quite a queue of people and there were others like us waiting to be given rooms too. Asking the staff how long do we need to wait and they were not able to provide a definitive reply which makes the whole situation even more ridiculous. I asked if we are expected to waiit for couple of minutes or hours or what? Staff then replied they would need at least an hour to clean the rooms. Sigh... What a complete waste of our time. While sitting at the lounge waiting, we noticed other guests were also getting fed up of waiting and queried why the hotel didn't even offer the waiting guests any refreshments. Really disappointed with the way the whole situation was handled. So much for the hospitality and making your guests feel welcome and happy :(

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice and varied. The hotel is also conveniently located close to a subway station. However, the minimalist style decoration of the room felt a little cold.

I stayed at The Place Taipei for 6 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is great, with coffee shops, local markets, and easy access to public transport nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and minimalist, perfect for a short stay focused on convenience rather than luxury. However, I felt the reception staff could be a bit friendlier and more welcoming, which would enhance the overall experience. The distance to the MRT is manageable but might be a downside for those expecting closer access.

Stayed here for a business trip for 3 nights. A bit confusing because the reception desk is on 10th floor. The room is small but neatly arranged so it doesn’t feel suffocating. Location is very close to train station and bus stops. There are also a couple of convenience stores nearby.

I haven’t been so satisfied in years traveling between Vegas and Taipei. This hotel provides excellent breakfast selections, clean and quiet room, no more then 3 minutes waiting for the elevator in my 4-day 3 -night stay and is so close to the MRT station.

Have a chance to stay here, due to an event I attended at the exhibition centre which is about 15 min walking distance. Its along a main road with a small hotel entrance. Lobby is at the 10th floor, and on the same floor, is the daily breakfast area and gym as well. The room is very clean, well equipped and provides two drinking bottle of water. Guest also provided with a few sachets of tea. The curtains are surprisingly electronic, which is good. The bathroom is clean, water pressure is excellent and the toilet seat comes with electric controlled spray and heater. It's nice. The breakfast has good choices and has free flow of coffee as well. Overall a good hotel. Only wish is the room size to be bigger. No walking distance night market is the drawback only.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel,and they really approachble and really kind, they really care to their customer and what i really like when we back in our hotel we surprised because on our table it has a pouch and a snack they give us for free,super love it, 🥰highly recommended this hotel nexttime we comeback in taiwan absolutely we will choose this hotel again🥰
