The Place Taipei

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The service is great! The room is clean and comfortable. Even the location is a bit away from the downtown, but the LRT station is just opposite the hotel and the NanGang Exhibition Hall is just a few minutes walking distance away. It is a perfect accommodation for the exhibitors and visitors.

Very convenient location for computex. The staff are very helpful and friendly even when it’s late at night. The breakfast buffet does not have the largest selection, but they make sure that there is something for everyone and the quality of the food trumps a lot of the more expensive hotels in the area. The daily Taiwanese special is something to look forward to every morning. 10/10 would stay here again!

The service is highly proactive, and the cleanliness and organization are excellent. Room: Comfort space Bed: Although it is smaller than my usual bed, the quality of the mattress is perfect, allowing me to sleep very well almost instantly. Restroom: Sufficient for a business trip; it is tidy and clean. Overall, everything is fantastic!

Though it has simple basic necessities(no cupboard), everything is of good quality. Enjoy the rice biscuits and a good selection of coffee and tea in the roomBreakfast is of good quality. Transportation 5 min to Brown Line and 10 mins walk to Blue Line (at exhibition hall).Staff are well trained.

The room is small. But the location is pretty good with lots of restaurants nearby. Drinking options is still somewhat limited but better than neihu.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice and varied. The hotel is also conveniently located close to a subway station. However, the minimalist style decoration of the room felt a little cold.

The service standard is indeed a big joke. Check in time supposed to be 3pm. We arrived at 3.30pm to check in and was told no rooms available for us while they are scrambling to clean up to make rooms available. There was quite a queue of people and there were others like us waiting to be given rooms too. Asking the staff how long do we need to wait and they were not able to provide a definitive reply which makes the whole situation even more ridiculous. I asked if we are expected to waiit for couple of minutes or hours or what? Staff then replied they would need at least an hour to clean the rooms. Sigh... What a complete waste of our time. While sitting at the lounge waiting, we noticed other guests were also getting fed up of waiting and queried why the hotel didn't even offer the waiting guests any refreshments. Really disappointed with the way the whole situation was handled. So much for the hospitality and making your guests feel welcome and happy :(

Originally I have been assigned the room which was a bit smelly, the service was nice and I was lucky so another room was available to be switched. Overall was nice
