The Plainsman Motel

Good, clean and pet friendly. 2.5 m clearance with my roof pod on Prado. Very nice bakery directly across road for early departure. Will definitely book again.

Stayed overnight in a 2 bedroom apartment and was surprised by how big it was and the presentation was immaculate. Nice and quiet location at the back of the property with air conditioners in all rooms, great little kitchenette as well. Promises of fast free Wi-Fi at many motels fail to deliver but we were very happy with the Wi-Fi offered at the Plainsman. Big thumbs up for the extremely comfortable beds and the softest pillows I have slept on, very appreciated after a long days drive. Would definitely stay here again if passing through!

We booked the premium room. It was very clean with a new bathroom. Motel was very quiet and they have thought of the small things including a windscreen cleaner to clean off the bugs as you are leaving. Welcoming and opposite the club where we had a good meal.

Staff friendly and informative but that goes downhill from there rooms were not well cleaned there was a box of someone's chicken still in a box under the sink and was smelly so goodness knows how long it had been there, the beds hadn't been cleaned under you 😀 could see dust and debris there Pretty disappointed 😞

The welcoming committee was exceptionally friendly, and the recently renovated rooms were impressive. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

We had a pet friendly room for my wife and I and our terrier dog. The hot water is very hot in seconds. You need to add some cold water to wash your hands. The room was warm in cold weather and spacious. Everything that could reasonably be provided was there, wifi, toaster, microwave, TV, cutlery, crockery, tea towel, info etc. The staff were friendly and accomodating. It really was a very pleasant stay while we were there.

False advertising with pic of Town Hall, but room was clean & comfy. Smoke from smokers outside of rooms wofts in with any open windows. Recommend a central smoking area to avoid this.

Pleasant stay, convienant. Good breakfast and service.
