I arrived at entrance on North Tce, arm bandaged up plus suitcase, couldn't open heavy door, no doorman or SIGN to say access to Reception is around the corner, local Member of Parliament whom I knew opened the door for me, then I was faced with 6 steps to get to Reception an older couple sitting nearby assisted me, I explained to reception I wasn't happy and s sign on North Terrace as well as Booking info ensures guests can locate easy access to Reception area Also steps to go up to breakfast buffet, don't expect an apology and a drink voucher for the struggle to get to check-in, when I mentioned a drink voucher I was asked if I was a member of Accor which I am, he told me I don't have enough Credits for a free drink, wrong answer to a woman with a fractured wrist struggling to get to Reception, oh a welcome drink was offered, help yourself to a cold chocolate drink from the dispenser! I mentioned I stay in hotels weekly who apologise and offer a voucher if there is a genuine complaint, I asked if there are gratis snacks in the minibar as some hotels do, told there is tea, coffee, water, I said The Mayfair has the best gratis items in their rooms! They took my case to room dumped it ,Not on rack, Disappointed
