The Plettenberg Hotel

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. The decor was also top-notch, creating a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. However, one downside was the lack of facilities for children, which may not make it an ideal choice for families with young kids. Anyway, they were really nice and celebrated my daughter's birthday

The Plettenberg is a really beautiful hotel overlooking the ocean. We were helped with our cases into the lobby which was very bright and welcoming. We were given a delicious tea and a refreshing towel which was a lovely touch.||We were taken to our suite which was perfectly located on the top floor in the adjacent building. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with decor that was tasteful and felt homely. The lounge area being perfect to enjoy the complementary mini bar with a view. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious.||We ate in the hotel restaurant one night which was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed our meal. There are security outside the hotel which gives reassurance when walking across the road to the other building where our room was.||Breakfast was fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. There is a continental buffet, with hot food ordered from the a la carte. The manager of the hotel spoke to us one morning, introduced herself and we talked about our trip. She was very friendly and we really appreciated her taking time to speak to the guests.||The pool area at the adjacent building is perfect, not overcrowded and has a panoramic view. There is an indoor lounge area which is ideal to escape the sun - we also had lunch in here which was great. ||There is a lovely walk along the beach - accessed from directly outside the hotel and taking the path on the left.||We would highly recommend The Plettenberg.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. Just a short walk to Main Street where the shops & restaurants are located. Our room was large and spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished. The dining area for dinner and breakfasts is a lovely area with outside seating overlooking the ocean. We loved the view for morning breakfast! The staff are superb, very attentive and super helpful with any questions you may have about the area and recommendations of places to visit.|All round, a high quality hotel in a perfect location!

We stayed at the Plettenberg as part of our Garden Route road trip. The Bay itself is absolutely stunning and the Hotel has commanding views across to the mountains in the distance. Our room was delightful and beautifully appointed. The staff are without exception friendly, helpful and cheerful which creates a wonderful atmosphere within the Hotel. We would highly recommend staying here as part of the Garden Route tour.

We had an amazing stay at the Plettenberg in February 2024. We were staying for our honeymoon and the staff made it very special for us with a lovely dessert platter, bubbly and balloon when arriving to our room.|The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with plenty of space for our 4 night stay. Next time we would choose a room with a sea view but we were still happy with our choice.|The hotel is in a perfect location with beautiful views and easy to access the Lookout Beach but also the centre of Plett. |Breakfast was one of the highlights for us - served on the terrace overlooking the ocean, with wide ranging buffet including fresh juices, and great selection of hot options. We enjoyed the bar for a drink or two pre dinner, and also ate dinner in the restaurant one night which was excellent.|Staff are all lovely and welcoming and we found service to be excellent.|We would definitely stay again on our next visit to SA.

One of the best trips I ever took. Pletternberg has thee most amazing views. Nice food, scenery and the service was also good. Would definitely recommend the place, absolutely beautiful. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and we loved every second of it

Was really an amazing experience.||Fiancé worked and got ill which meant her staying indoors for 2 whole days… and she didn’t go crazy which says something for the hotel/room and staff…||Thank you||Food was amazing. Staff was accommodating. The room was lovely with a clear view of the shore.||All in all - fantastic

We loved our stay in The Plettenburg. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal for us to get to get to the local area and only a short drive to other activities we had planned such as sky diving and canyoning. We would highly recommend. Thank you.
