Truly one of the most stunning hotels we have stayed at. Attention to detail was amazing. Our room and room view blew us away! As well as the details to the interiors of the entire hotel and the room. The service was also exceptional. I can see why it was voted the #1 hotel in South Africa. So happy to have enjoyed our honeymoon here.

We stayed at The Plettenberg on August 1 and absolutely loved our time there. We booked the Premier Suite and the Partial Sea View Suite—two beautiful corner rooms right next to each other—which ended up being the perfect setup for our family of five. The hotel added an extra bed for our third child, and it worked out perfectly. Both rooms were stocked full of drinks and snacks, and the views of the ocean and beach from our windows were just unbelievable. To celebrate our anniversary, the hotel surprised us with flowers and sweets—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. The entire property is stunning and truly screams luxury, from the elegant décor to the serene atmosphere. We enjoyed the heated pool, wellness spa, and a lovely meal at Amelia’s. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious—a perfect way to start each morning. The location is ideal for long beach walks, and the sunset views are unforgettable. A truly memorable stay in Plettenberg Bay!

What a beautiful and elegant hotel, in an amazing location. Just spent one night here visiting the Garden Route. Small and very friendly hotel . Staff incredibly helpful and charming. Rooms spacious and elegant. Delicious dinner and breakfast in delightful dining room. From our balcony at dawn we saw a huge school of dolphin herding fish towards the shallower waters for a feeding frenzy with seabirds joining in ! Short stroll down to immaculate beach. Stay here ! I would definitely return.

Fab SLH place right on the cliffs at Plett bay. The rooms are huge and have views over the sea, with lots of little extras thrown in. Service is wonderful, the bar was great, and dining inside or outside was very good - over three nights we decided to dine in each night because it's the best local food. From SA friends I get the impression that this is the go-to hotel on this part of the coast and we will definitely return.

A top hotel in a perfect position, our view and room was amazing. So spacious and very clean. Staff were wonderful and helpful during our stay. We travelled in October so it was still a little cool especially in the evening so you can imagine my surprise to hop into bed and find a hot water bottle in there waiting for me!! The best surprise ever!!

This was our first time back at the hotel in at least 6 years and sit didn't disappoint. The professionalism was excellent and everyone was always so happy and smiling. The room was wonderful with stunning views of the ocean.
