The Plumeria Lounge

I think the reviews are too critical. Perhaps they are dated. Hawaiian has upped their food selections. It is a small lounge but equal to American or United lounge. Today they had a large salad section, two soups, two options as a main course, cookies and cheesecake. It can be noisy based on crowds and everyone is in one room. Very clean restrooms.

Not nearly as good as other fancy american airport lounges, but decent definitely the best priority pass lounge in Honolulu. I dont think I’d pay $40 to get in, but the kalua pork sliders and minestrone soup were both good. They had chips, chocolates, tea and coffee, soda, and alcohol available all self serve. Its really just one average looking room but they had different seating options with charging ports, and free wifi. The bathrooms were clean and nicer than the airport ones for sure

Near one of the worst lounges. There is no soda water, no cans, bottles, or even a separate paddle on the soda dispenser. There is no fruit selection, one hot food choice. The only drink in cans is beer. No juice, coconut water, or anything. The Wi-Fi login is unnecessary cryptic and complex with all upper case and dashes. For gosh sakes, it’s not like anyone else is around here. Lounge location and signage is confusing. Must work your way around the busy wiki wiki bus area. The one good thing is space. Decent seats spaced apart. Can’t say I recommend, but it’s not like you have a choice.

Small lounge with limited choices. I got access because I was flying Hawaiian Airlines First Class from HNL to JFK. Unfortunately, it was a terrible “business class” lounge—limited selection and no service. We even had to clear our own plates, dumping the leftovers into a trash can before placing the dishes into bins. The food was mediocre at best. Some alcoholic options but nothing to write home about. The coffee machine is one of the cheapest I’ve seen in any lounge. Hawaiian really needs to step it up, especially since this is their “flagship” lounge at their home airport.

Food: 4* Service: 3* Ambiance: 3* This is a basic club. I can’t wait for the new one to emerge now that Alaska and Hawaiian merged. This is an ok lounge that does the job, it just basic. The food options were good and they even have poke, which was a nice surprise. Not a bad lounge, just out of the way and a little basic.

This is a basic lounge, lots of seating, one tv on mute, three were light food options consisting of pork sliders, soup and vegetables. Drinks included wine, beer, soft drinks and OJ. It was fine for passing time waiting for a flight, but definitely not overwhelming for an airport lounge.

The front desk staff members are friendly but sometimes laughed as loud as the disruptive kids and screaming baby. However, most of time it was funny to hear their infectious laughter…but overall difficult to deal with the combination of noises. If you don’t mind different noises and just want a cool place to relax before heading to your gate for a short wait, it is fine. However, a long wait…you might find it to be uncomfortable…there is no storage for items here which I would recommend so members do not have to worry about their things. Most of the staff members kindly answered questions and explained things in a friendly manner. However, one lady raised her voice at me “Wait in line!” for just staying away from the entrance and waiting on the side, “out of line”. Overall the facilities were clean. Except for my experience with that one staff lady and the noise levels, it was a pleasant experience.

Came on a day with a wait. Not worth waiting more than 30 minutes unless you have over two hours to kill like me. Maybe worth waiting for 15min if you have over an hour to kill. They had self serve Kahlua pork sliders, cut pineapple and melons, minestrone soup, taro chips and some snacks/candies I didn't get because the bowls were not refilled. Soda machine, coffee machine, small fridge with milk/juices, and another small fridge with some local beers. Not a lot of tables, because it was busy I was "assigned" a seat which only had a small side table. If you plan to work on anything you may need to tell them beforehand that you need a table. Overall nice and clean. I had my earbuds in so couldn't tell if it was noisy or not.

Lounge opens exactly at 6:30 a.m. check in is fast by showing your boarding pass. If status to enter lounge is not on your pass then show your Premier card. Sit anywhere that is not reserved. Good if you haven't had anything to eat before arriving at the airport. It's like a continental breakfast with some snacks. Passengers help bus their own tables. Thankyou Doc for gifting me this card so I can get a bite to eat and not twirling my thumbs for rescheduled flight 4+ hours later.

No bells and whistles here but it will mostly do the trick if you want to save money on airport food and potentially be around fewer people. The seating isn't particularly comfortable unless you're able to sit on the cushioned bench nearest the food or one of the tan chairs. The bulk of the seating is perhaps for aesthetics because it's not for comfort. Also, there are not enough outlets. My friend and I were initially seated near what appeared to be an outlet bank on the floor but...none of them were working. Pork sliders, veggies and dip, coleslaw coffee, soda, tea, and a few tiny desserts are your main food options. There's some fresh fruit like apples and oranges as well. Also, when my friend and I initially walked up, the staff member who greeted us wasn't particularly kind and assumed we saw a sign stating the lounge was at capacity. After 6 hours of traveling and a trek from one side of the airport to another, forgive us for being solely focused on making it to our destination. Sheesh.

- Food sucks. Cookies were stale, the slider options looked dry so I didnt bother. Wanted a glass of wine but only reds were out and I like white wine. - Multiple seating areas "reserved" for international travelers so they instead cattle together all the domestic flight people in the same area which is very limited, especially if you only came to comfortably charge your phone. (Spoiler alert I was not comfy). - I was #1 on the waitlist, not busy at all, and they wouldnt let me even pee. I offered to scan my boarding pass, priority pass, leave my id, which is standard but nope. They redirected me downstairs and as soon as I sat on the toilet, BAM I WAS OFF THE WAITLIST. It literally took 1 minute. So ridiculous. - Staff has a stuck up attitude but idk why cause this isnt even a nice lounge.

The perks of having the Priority Pass allows you access into certain airport lounges all of the country and the Plumeria Lounge is one of them! Most times that I have traveled, there wasn't a wait but when it gets very busy, there is a wait list after you check in with the employee at the check-in counter. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly sharing the aloha spirit greeting you when you enter and when leave. When you check in, you show your priority pass card which they scan and they check your ID and boarding pass. The have tables and chairs, bar style seating, and well as lounge chairs with coffee tables available for seating. Most times there is either a sandwich, sliders, and they also have had yakisoba noodles and teriyaki chicken. They always have fruit snacks, bags of pretzels, taro chips (fav), mele macs (fav), and mini chocolate chip cookies available in jars. They also have soft drinks, a machine for ice and water, coffee and cappuccino, ice tea in 4 flavors, wine, beer, and seltzers. Today for food, they had pork sliders with plain and taro rolls, milestone soup, and assorted veggies with ranch dressing. The food was not bad and a great snack before your plane ride. They do also offer wifi and have restrooms for use inside. We enjoy coming to the lounge to relax before our flight and will definitely return.

Located on the upstais floor by the Wiki Wiki shuttle, the Plumeria lounge serves as a serviceable spot to rest before your flight. Although it can get a little crowded in the early afternoon as this this is the only Priority Pass lounge in HNL, the service is great and they do have some snacks and beer and wine available. All service is self service and you are asked to clean up for yourself. Beer and wine are available as well as self service coffee and cappuccinos. A highlight after 10am is the Poi rolls and hot Kahlua Pork. Power outlets are not at all spots, and primarily against the wall by the elevated seats.

We had to get on a wait list to get into the lounge. There was a rope blocking the entrance. If it's busy, you have to scan the QR code and put yourself on the list. We walked away and spent a good 45 minutes near our gate, but then got a text saying there was room available in the lounge. Our flight was delayed so we had plenty of time to walk all the way back to the lounge. The walk from our departure gate was hot and slightly uphill, so dress for warm weather. It's nice that there are bathrooms inside the lounge. As for the food, it's all self serve and you throw away your paper plates yourself. On the day I visited, there were kalua pork sliders with taro or regular Hawaiian rolls with fresh sliced green onions and a sauce. They had taro chips and mele macs (toffee and chocolate covered macadamias) in jars. I didn't think much of these, but glad I tried them. I ended up buying half a dozen bags of mele macs from the Kauai Costco to bring back as gifts since since they are a little more unique than regular chocolate covered macadamias. The only thing I remember them kinda missing were some nice juices. There were no canned juices nor jugs of juice. They had a soda fountain, coffee, tea bags, and bottles of wine you could self serve. The front desk staff were nice enough. The servers who refilled the food looked stressed but there were not mean. The main downside is that it's a small lounge.

Good escape from the crowd and gate seating area before your flight. Lots of seating, free WiFi, free juice, coffee, soda and cocktails such as beer, seltzer and wine. That night, they served Kalua Pig, Taro rolls and Minestrone Soup. Very quiet, tv's are turned down low or no volume at all. The lounge seem to need an upgrade but all in all, still worth it.

Nice comfortable venue for those able eligible to come in, you have to be a hawaiian airlines member with this level of perks. Simple food choices, small kind snacks, cut fruit, assorted danishes, a 10 choice coffee machine, chilled wine and fountain soda. Even had hard boiled eggs and cold cereal. All slightly more than just snacks but not even a continental breakfast you'll find in a hotel. No hot food and sadly almost impressed. Service was fine though there was a short line to come in as a couple in front had trouble and it took some time for the one lady to deal with them. Would I come back, prob not cause I may not qualify for this privilege, so I'll stick with the premium club venue.

We visited the Plumeria Lounge on a Tuesday morning at about 11:15 am. There was no line and we were lucky enough to check in and be seated immediately. The lounge was crowded, but everyone seemed to be comfortable and happy. The standard food and drink options were available to include, hot soups, kalua pork sliders, coleslaw, mixed veggies tray, Tillamook cheese, milk, orange juice, soft drinks, beer and wine. I'm thankful for any complimentary food and drink I can get, especially with the soaring cost of airport food these days. The lounge gives you a place of refuge before you head out to the busy and noisy airport gates. The Hawaiian Airlines staff here were welcoming and friendly and kept the lounge running smoothly. Overall I enjoyed my visit today and I hope that Hawaiian Airlines will someday expand the lounge size in the future to accommodate the growing number of passengers who access the lounge. Mahalo!

A bit of a disappointment at the Honolulu Airport. Located in the inter-island travel part of the terminal, you have to catch the Wikiwiki shuttle bus (it's a bit of a distance to walk) if traveling to the mainland or overseas (other than the U.S.). The lounge is spartan - food selection limited to pre-packaged food, soft drinks, wine and beer (Maui Brewery cans in a small refrigerator). It can get a bit crowded at times so based on the location, (lack of) selection of food and drinks, if you have an airline lounge access elsewhere, it would be better to visit the other lounges.

Finally got to experience Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria lounge . This lounge is located on the 3rd floor while their Premier lounge is located right outside the TSA check point . Limited seats available and it gets crowded very quickly just like their premier lounge. I guess long time ago it was a privilege to inside an airline lounge now it's a dime of dozen mostly everyone can get . I've seen pics on Yelp before on the Plumeria Lounge and the food was just ok . From Yakisoba noodles, chicken wings and I experienced Kalua sliders. Vegetables platters, cookies, taro chips, coffee, fountain drinks , soup. I've experienced other airlines lounges in the past The plumeria lounge cannot compete. The agents in the Plumeria Lounge is very friendly and customer service oriented Support local

The lounge of Aloha... Thank you Nadine for the pass as it felt like a VIP once the staff had seen it as they were full capacity and was going to put us on a wait...meh! This lounge is located obviously in Terminal 1 where all the inter island flights are, right after you exit the security near Burger King you just take the elevator or escalator to the second floor and walk all the way in the back is where they are. It's not as big as some other lounges I've been to but do have lots of comfy seatings with charging ports everywhere, bathroom and of course lots of food. Minestrone soup was it today along with a build your own Kalua Pig Sliders, fresh fruits, veggies and ranch and snacks...taro chips, cookies, fruit gummies, pretzels and fresh pastries then don't forget the drinks...soda fountain, milk, orange juice and wine. The walk was pretty far depending on your gate but is nice to have a place to stretch, relax and enjoy prior to your flight and The Plumeria Lounge is a great place to recharge in so many way. Thank you

Had a chance to stop by the Plumeria Lounge when I was flying back from Oahu to SFO and this was a nice experience. We ended up going around the morning time around 9ish, and there were lots of couches and seats open which was nice. We logged on to the WiFi and were able to check out the continental breakfast. Let me tell you the breakfast is not good , it's cereal, some pastries, coffee/juice types of stuff but nothing hot which is my type of foods. Around 10AM, they start the lunch service where they brought out normal and taro buns, kalua pork, coleslaw and bbq sauce. You turn these into sliders and it's absolutely perfect and so delicious. I also got a side of minestrone soup - this was okay, but I liked that it was warm. Overall for the lunch service I enjoyed it a lot, and even though it was less variety, it was really good. We left with a happy heart and a full stomach!

So this is a very convenient lounge for Hawaiian Airlines. The food includes self serve kalua pig sliders with a choice of sweet or poi roll. There is a vegetable tray, chips, and soup as well. The drink selection is very large and includes all you can drink wine, beer, soda, and juice. It was a little crowded when we came at noon on a weekday. I heard that the staff telling people there was a wait time of an hour. It's a little loud but overall a nice place to rest and refuel before your trip.

So obviously my rating, like anything I got for free, would depend on if I was paying for it. If I paid full price, I'd probably say it was a 3/5 (you'd have to drink a decent amount of beer to be worth it), but I got in via Priority Pass, so I'm rating it compared to other places I've gotten in via Priority Pass. We also got there around 9:45, so they still had room - it looked much more likely people were getting waitlisted by the time we left around 11:20 (AM). Here is what we got in exchange for getting on the Wiki Wiki shuttle to/from the other terminal: as far as drinks, one pretty solid craft lager and one pretty solid craft seltzer from Maui Brewing, bottles of Heineken, a couple very mediocre wines by the self-serve glass, and coffee, tea and soda from a machine. For food, decent enough sandwiches (turkey and tuna), hard-boiled egg, slices of cheese, a decent enough minestrone soup, and various little snack items (adequate taro chips, bags of fruit snacks, pretzels, little pastries). The sandwiches were gone when we got there, but refilled within a few minutes (and ran out and got refilled a couple times while we were there). quickly and often. You *cannot* take anything with you (for reasonable environmental reasons, but they are a bit touchy about it). The wifi works well, but that's not terribly useful, as the airport wifi works well enough too. It isn't terribly relaxing with the relatively small size and being always busy, as the only real lounge in the airport, but for the price (free), I can't really complain. 2 craft beers at the terminal would be pretty expensive otherwise (though to be fair - a bigger selection.) And yes it is indeed literally about a 30 second walk from the wiki wiki drop-off/pickup spot in terminal 1. From terminal 2 it's across the bridge and upstairs (the lounge is on terminal 3.)

Visited on Saturday around 11AM, they were at capacity but they had a QR code to get on the waitlist, we waited about 15 minutes for a party of 4. 2 members of our party have priority pass but only 1 had the physical card on them, but they let us in the lounge regardless. Customer service was friendly. They have some food & beverage for free - like pork sliders, minestrone soup, veggies (tomato/carrot/celery/pickle), and cheese. They had a few bottles of wine, beer, and seltzers. Seating inside was minimal and it appears to get busy at times. But overall the lounge was fine and a nice place to wait if you have some extra time.

The lounge looks a bit outdated but is still a nice and clean place to relax and get a little something to eat and drink while you wait for your flight. Today, I had a nice warm minestrone soup, a cold turkey and cheese sandwich (a cold tuna sandwich was also available), and a cafe latte from the self serve coffee machine. However, I was expecting a little more because I'm lucky enough to have tried many other airline lounges. Perhaps more hot food options, a few liquor and spirits options and an easier WiFi login process would get them to a current "standard" of lounge experience. Service was limited since everything was self serve. I arrived around 8pm and did not have to wait in line before checking in.

The Plumeria Lounge is okay. They have hot soup, croissant, self-serve candies, and taro/sweet potato chips. For beverages, they have a soda fountain and canned beers. I get access to this lounge because I have a Priority Pass membership so if I compare it to other lounges I've visited, this one isn't great. I want more hot food options and snacks that are individually wrapped. The jar for the chocolates and the taro/sweet potatoes chips were almost empty and no one filled it up. The wait time to get into this lounge was 30 minutes for 1 person during the 11:30am hour. You have to scan a QR code in front of the lounge entrance and put yourself on the wait list. When they're ready for you, you'll receive a text message. I do like the QR code/wait list because when I traveled back in May 2023, I waited 20 minutes and then left because that line of people was too long. If you're in a rush, I would suggest buying food from other vendors within the airport because this isn't worth it.

The staff spoke to us in a rude tone and didn't look at us when she spoke. We had to scan a code outside of the lounge and wait 30 minutes for a spot for two. The food was not good. The restroom was clean and smelled good. They have help yourself wine (terrible wine) and beer. The Kona. Blonde was cold and the highlight of the lounge. What can I say, it was free with my Venture One X, so can't complain...too much.

Pro tip: Get there earlier than you think, plan to wait at least 30 mins if you have priority pass. We got to the lounge and there were already 14 parties ahead of us. We waited around 42 mins and then we were seated. There were mixed reviews of this location so we weren't sure what the expect. The food wasn't bad, there was rice, fried noodles and some shoyu chicken. I didn't see any vegetarian options. There were also a good amount of snacks: taro chips, Honolulu cookies and chocolate nuts. There was a soda, coffee machine and a few beers and wine options. Overall, a decent experience if you have an extra ~2 hours to kill. I would come back with my priority pass. The inside was nice and they had assigned seats so you don't just walk in. Staff was friendly.

Even though we were flying from terminal 2, we walked to terminal 1 (~10 mins) to access this lounge. According to reviews, this was the better one Priority Pass allows access to. The lounge was smaller than expected considering it's a lounge by Hawaiian Airlines. They offered a few hot food items (shoyu chicken, yakisoba, rice, minestrone soup), snacks, tea and coffee, wine and beer and some fruits. The staff is nice. And the food gets refilled quickly.

This location is bare bones. and long waits. Came here today to grab a drink (canned or soft drink ) and a cookie, but the wait was insane. Dont expect much , and it maybe a few minutes to get in or upwards of 90 minutes!

Aloha! I almost bypassed this lounge based in prior reviews. Glad I gave it a shot. No, it's not like Amex Centurion or Aspire lounges , but it's a good place outside of the gates to chill while waiting to board. On our visit, 6/2/24, we waited 5 minutes for entry (party of 3) and were assigned a location together. We snacked on kalua pork sliders, crudités, minestrone soup and various wines, beer and soft drinks. Charged our devices and got mentally ready for our flight home. Mahalo Hawaiian. Until next time.

A good place to sit and relax while you wait for your next flight. Electronic plugs readily available to charge your phones at the sears. We got in with the Priority Pass included with the credit cards. I'm not sure if I had to pay, it would be worth it. There was a line to get in, so plan accordingly. The minestrone soup was the best thing they serve. As for the noodles and chicken, not the best quality food. Looked like dark meat chicken. Beer and wine available. Some fruits to enjoy while sitting there, since the US agriculture department will scan your luggage so don't bring it with you lol. Water, soda, coffee and other snacks such as chocolate macs, taro chips, biscuits, cheese, etc. Bring a water bottle to fill up with iced water for your flight.

Aloha, yes! Lounge, no. Seriously?!? Is this the best Hawaiian Airlines can do? Just fly coach and eat at an airport kiosk. Not worth the effort or money. I've been to this lounges worldwide, and even the lounges in third-world countries had better food, seating, and ambiance. The first time here I was holed up in the entryway. The food was worse than the grab and go options at the local convenience stores (abc is wayyyy better). The second time it was full and I was directed to the Premier Club. What??? Horrific substance called coffee, bitter iced tea, and warm water were the only options. No food at all. I gave the HA lounge experience two stars because the chairs were comfy and I got to charge my phone without curling up on the floor by the gate. Honestly, HA, you can do better.

This lounge is pretty big but it does not have much in terms of food and it can get a pretty long wait list. I had been there in the past which was a little different then this years experience. When we arrived they had to find a spot for us. On tap there are sodas or coffee. There is beer in the fridge. To eat they have wrapped up turkey or tuna sandwiches and minestrone soup. Other than that it is just fruit and snacks which consisted of biscoff cookies, Honolulu cookie company cookies, chocolate macadamia nuts, taro chips and prepackaged fruit snacks. They also have wine.

This lounge is horrid! By just looking at this water machine it says allot about its standards! I had to stop a mom from putting water in her baby's water bottle. What sucks even more is that there is zero water bottles to take with you . Food is just sandwich and minestrone soup . We had priority pass and an hour to kill so decided to hang out here. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!

Wait at the door they come and get you. Once inside they assign your spot depending on your status. This place is very small. Good if you have a party of four as every table accommodates for that or if you are flying first class they reserve special tables. Most of which are empty today. Food is good. Fresh fruit cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Why not pineapple I wonder? Chicken with chow mein noodles, white rice and fresh pastries. Boiled eggs, cheese, Hawaiian taro and sweet potato chips. Coffee espresso machine, alcohol, soda, teas. Chocolate Mele Mac macadamia nuts were yummy! Good servers where prompt with replenishment of food and attentive to cleaning tables as people departed. Overall this is an average lounge compared to others I've been to. Small isn't necessarily a bad thing here and I can see why they regulate seats. I'll add a star back in for that. Ha!

We utilized the lounge the weekend before Christmas, so it was understandably busy, to the point where there was a wait list to enter! If I'm not mistaken it's open to folks traveling first class and/or business class to BOS, JFK, and/other international destinations, and HA Premiere members. We weren't sure what to expect since it's our first visit. There were croissant sandwiches, minestrone soup, cheese, taro chips, fountain drinks, and alcohol (wine, beer). I don't think there is a time limit to stay. Agents were friendly enough and the seats were comfortable. But imagine having to wait to use the lounge if you don't have much time before boarding...

The staff lady at the desk was friendly and welcoming!! We told her it was our first time to this lounge and she explained things to us. It was not open-seating when we arrived, rather she told us where to sit and I kinda like that too b/c we were immediately sat a table for 4. Other lounges I've been to have been open seating and some people are inconsiderate and take up a large table when they don't even need it. The food was tasty. They had minestrone soup, yakisoba, a bbq chicken?, white rice, and special kind of chips...like a purple yam or something. They had wines, beers, and soda machine, all self served. The staff guy doing the food refills had a bad attitude and later saw as he rudely told a kid to move. Just SO rude instead of telling the kid nicely, "excuse me, I'm going to refill the tray". This caused some tension with the child's dad and the staff worker. We all have bad days, but it should never be taken out on anyone, especially a child.

Whenever we travel, we make a stop at the Plumeria Lounge. On our most recent trip that left around lunch time, we unfortunately couldn't even get in. Never had I come before where there was a waitlist. By the time it was our turn, we were starting to board so I'm glad we didn't try wait. I ended up just getting something at the food court. The food is just alright. I haven't really gone during dinner time but usually have the same kind of stuff during breakfast or at lunch. Breakfast usually has muffins, cereal and fruit. Lunch usually has sandwiches, noodles, chicken or soup. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful. It is pretty quiet inside.

Super rude service staff and disappointing lounge. They talk at you like a drill sergeant. Once you're finally granted access into this magical land, you get treated to dry cereal boxes and stale coffee, and gross bathrooms. Nothing more.

It located on the third floor right after the security checkpoints. The entrance was before heading to the shuttle buses. Received warm greeting from two staff. Check-in was quick and smooth. Turkey cheese sandwich was the main dish. Minestrone soup had many ingredients. Cold beverages and hot beverages were served by machines. Red wine and beer were available. Taro chips, chocolate covered macadamia, and butter cookies were on the side.

Pretty nice in the way of lounges. Hasn't been updated in a long time but not dirty. Self serve beers and wine. Espresso machine was broken which is sad. Food tasted okay and plenty of outlets

I paid for the Premier Membership, which gets 2 tickets to this lounge. Since it is my second year, I had a much better experience last year vs my most recent visit. I do fly frequently with my family, the limited hours of this lounge made using my passes difficult. I can pretty much only use them when I fly interisland. My first experience was fairly good Continental type breakfast with pastries, coffee, juices, and soft drinks. I didn't see any alcoholic beverages at the time. We travel with my daughter and this morning visit, they didn't ask for a ticket for her. The lounge early in the morning is very slow and that could be why they let my daughter in. My latest experience, there were no tables available. Actually, there were two empty tables but they were reserved. Since I only had two tickets, I was told we can only do 2 people, so my wife and I had to take turns, otherwise, I believe we were being asked to pay $40 for our daughter to come in. They were serving mochiko chicken and rice, minestrone soup, taro chips, cheeses, and some pastries. They had Heineken and Maui Brewing Co seltzer, but they had very little stocked that the refrigerator was empty being that it was busy, I was only able to get one Heineken before I had to switch with my wife. We each spent about 30-45 mins in the lounge and by the time we left, the reserved tables were still vacant. Gotta scratch my head why that is even allowed during busy travel times..

Pretty basic lounge that serves continental breakfast in the morning before transitioning to turkey and tuna sandwiches for lunch with minestrone soup.

Thanks to brother-in-law Craig T, my wife, and I got to enjoy the luxuries of the Hawaiian Air Lines Plumeria lounge. Located on the third floor in terminal 1. Very friendly staff and comfortable seating. They have an assortment of beverages , including beer, wine,soft drinks, milk,orange juice, and coffee. Minestrone and cream of mushroom soup were available. Snacks included Maui Macs, Tillamook cheese, gummies and chips. Thanks, Hawaiian Air and employee Leimomi, for a wonderful and leisurely stay.

Waste of time walking over to this. They won't let priority pass members in if it's more than 1/2 full

Hawaiian Airlines was offering a Buy One Get One Free Premier Club Annual Membership this past Winter of 2022. At Honolulu International Airport, HAL's Main Hub has 2 lounges. The Premier Club Lounge is on the main concourse of Terminal 1 closest to the Makai Starbucks, while The Plumeria Lounge is on the 3rd floor. Check-in was done at Lobby 4, and after a short ride from T2 to The Plumeria Lounge, me and my other half made our way down. We received a warm welcome when we entered. Always nice! Not to compare this to a previous layover on another airlines lounge in another airport. This lounge is on the smaller side. There were enough seats for everyone in the lounge at that time we were there. However, the guest service agent mentioned that during busy times it does get very crowded. This is a basic lounge. They serve soft drinks, Maui Beer, Red & White Wine, snacks, light food and fruits. Restrooms for both men and women, no shower facilities, but there were charging ports at a few seats. Certain tables were reserved, while others were free for all, but with limited seating, you may be sharing a table with other guests. What I assumed is that if you are Pualani Gold/Platinum, you have the ability to reserve seating. A decent place to wait for your flight but nothing outstanding aside from the very friendly guest service agents. It beats waiting in a noisy terminal, if your departure gate is at the C Gates, you'll have immediate access to the Wiki Wiki Shuttle. But don't expect the finest amenities that other airlines would offer.

Kind of ridiculous to wait an hour for a single seat in the lounge. Granted this lounge is pretty small, most people left before they are able to sit and don't remove their name from the list or just don't show up which creates a back log on who can actually sit. Food comes out periodically but there are waits for them to cook/heat it up. Unfortunately this has become a easy place to get into with the priority pass so you have to come a lot earlier if you really want it. If you really need food, just stop at a 7-11 on the way to the airport probably be the same amount of time. The workers are just doing their job so don't be mad at them lol

Nice little self-serve lounge at Terminal 1 on the 3rd floor right where the Wiki Wiki shuttle pickup/drop off is. You can walk from Terminal 2 (about 9-10 minutes) or take the shuttle here. They have Maui POG hard seltzers, Maui Brewing Lagers, Heinekens, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon to drink. Otherwise, soda machine and water, coffee, and teas. They had yakisoba which was bland, ham and cheese sandwiches, pastries, and other little goodies to eat! They seat you depending on your party size so you get a dedicated spot instead of looking around for seating. Clean after yourself and enjoy!

Excellent clean lounge in honolulu airport to wait for your flight. Get the premier pass and come here for free and bring a guest! I just went recently and we had to be on a waitlist. Maybe since Covid they are limited then number of people since it wasn't completely full when we were in and seats were still available. I came around noon and there was some soup, chips, sandwiches, and fruit. There's always coffee, water, tea, beer, and wine: Love coming here for the clean bathroom and snacks. One time there was spicy instant ramen. The food always changes which I appreciate. Desk workers are friendly and the food is constantly being restocked.

This spot needs some work to call itself a proper "airport lounge." Very dated space with unappealing nor extensive food options outside noodles or the various carbs. Need some healthier options. Not equipped to handle larger crowds, for the space is small. A women's restroom with maybe 3 stalls (there actually might have only been 2 or 2 in working order), poor lighting and kind of dirty in need of an hourly clean-up schedule. In prep for a long flight to Tokyo from here, I would have enjoyed a proper bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and freshen up. This was not the inviting restroom to do any of this. Maybe I have been to too many airport lounges on this planet to compare this one to, thus my low rating. But trust me, this is at the bottom of barrel when it comes to "airport lounges." It kind of surprised me to know the Plumeria Lounge is not really up to par. With the international travel coming from Asia that is full of exceptional airport lounges, I think this would have been better. We did not actually even stay, for nothing about this space was inviting nor comfortable to us. Paying a business class fare, we expect more. The airport is doing a disservice to its airlines that service well traveled clients like myself with this dismal lounge. It was easier and quite honestly more comfortable to sit near our gate with loads of space and seating and munch on an egg and feta cheese flatbread and a decent cup of coffee from Starbucks versus thinking there was any benefit of staying in the lounge.

A nice, simple lounge located in Terminal 1 on the 3rd floor. You can take the Wiki Wiki Shuttle to get over from other terminals but I decided to walk my Hawaiian food encumbered butt over from Terminal 3; took less than 10 minutes at my fast clip. I had to wait 20mins in line before getting to the front though where I presented my Priority Pass to the esteemed worker. She put me on a brief wait list before letting me. It's a size-able enough lounge with comfortable seating. Seating is spaced out enough; they don't try to cram in too many seats and couches hence the wait. Each seat has plugs to charge your electronics. They had yakisoba, karaage chicken, steamed rice and taro chips as the complimentary food option during my 1 hour visit. Alcoholic drink selection was none too bad. Three beers -- a craft lager and hard seltzer (Maui Brewing) along with some domestic lager -- plus self serve wine. There were plenty of non-alcoholic options as well in the form of several soft drinks, drip coffee, instant espresso, hot tea, and orange juice. I did even spy some bowl instant ramen too. Food wasn't mind blowing or anything but a nice touch, one to provide that little refuel before the long flight back to the Mainland. Note: You'll need to have your belongings go through a scanner before exiting this terminal. It was a quick minute when I passed through, but keep that in mind if you're traveling back to a neighboring terminal to your gate.

I loved the Plumeria Lounge! It's located above gate A20 in Terminal 2. I think Priority Pass has it listed wrongly as Terminal 1, but thankfully there are tons of signs to get you there. On a Thursday morning it was really full, so we waited around 15 minutes to get into the lounge. The workers are really nice and very attentive; they don't give a wait time but they are very transparent about how the process works. They take groups in one by one as other groups leave. You'll need your Priority Pass card, ID, and Boarding Pass. The entire time we were there, there was a line outside. I guess the space is small compared to the demand, since it's the only PP lounge at HNL that offers food. Upon getting inside, we were given assigned seating. I noticed there weren't any outlets and I requested to be moved, thankfully there was another spot at the window counter. The food choices here are not bad at all. There's a selection of snacks: Mele Macs (toffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts), Chips, Welch's, Pretzels, Hard Boiled Eggs, and Tillamook Cheese. There were also some fruits available. The cheese and fruits were always the fastest to go. The hot foods were a Minestrone Soup, White Rice, Ginger Chicken, and Yakisoba. The chicken was really good, the others were alright. Drinks were okay, there was a coffee machine and a soda fountain. Didn't pay too much attention to the alcohol selections. I liked the lounge a lot! The bathrooms were super clean and did have some cleaning time (waited around 5 mins for them to finish up) and they provide pads. The space was not cramped and I felt relaxed and safe. I can't wait for the next time I'm in HNL to come back.

Hardcore nope. I love to visit lounges and it's a bit of a hobby for me as I travel. This is one of the worst lounges I've ever been to. The only one that beats this is when I was flying from Lviv to Kyiv... which was basically a fold out table with a piece of cheese thrown near an empty bottle of wine... Here there is a small choice of wine. You also can grab a Heineken (they said they had Maui but I didn't see it)... there are some noodles and a soup. A few choices of pre packaged snacks with dusty worked over pastries were noticed.... Oh! Pieces of worked over tomato and two single serve packets of Tilamook ! Grim.... Really it was so pitiful! Although if you want to grab a soda they have a lot of choices for that. It's not restful either. It was pretty crowded and the seating set up is like a damn bus station. The vibe is actually such that it put me and my fellow travelers in a spiral of an ever worsening mood. I do like that it's right next to the bus link that will take you in between terminals. I would not make a special trip to check this out unless you want to see for yourself the worst flagship lounges (the others here looked terrible as well) in America. Actually that a straight lie, and I know I can tell you the truth...I read reviews before going and I KNEW it wasn't great... I just can't stop myself from wanting to actually see it for myself... I honestly couldn't imagine I'd find worse, but I did! I like that they have their own restrooms and I palmed a Heineken, and drank it while waiting for my plane in another terminal. So that was something.....

A crowded lounge that is dated... but still clean, has some good options to eat and was a welcome addition to my Honolulu airport experience. + Soft seats + Good snacks + Canned beer, coffee machine, ice/water, wine - Bit crowded but not awful - Non-snack foods was perhaps C+ at best - Overall a bit small I am appreciative that it exists.

PRIORITY PASS USERS BEWARE: You will most likely not make it into this lounge unless you have 4+ hours of time. The lounge has been so busy every time we've been here (one time even with 3+ hours to spare) and the waitlist system is designed to always allow business/first class members in first. There are a lot of these members at this airport so even if you get on the waitlist early, you could be waiting forever. Furthermore, there is no time limit and the estimates they provide are widely off - we were quoted 30 minutes and waited over 90 minutes, and we didn't even make it in to the lounge. If you're a priority pass user (the irony of the name of this benefit...) and want to give it a shot, go directly to the left-hand side and scan the QR code to get on the waitlist... best of luck if you do UPDATE (4/14/2024): Actually made it in! But sadly... rating stays the same. Definitely not worth the wait and the food and beverage options are very limited and basic. Lounge workers were nice and welcoming all things considered, but overall environment gets kind of stuffy with lots of people around. Highlights were Maui Brewing Co beers and Honolulu Cookie Co crackers
