The Pocket Espresso Bar.

A great coffee shop with a great selection. We had iced lattes, a croissant and a brownie. Croissant was warm and fresh. Brownie was fluffy but still rich like you would expect coffee was well done too. Seating was nice we chose to sit inside with a view of the ocean. There are some seats outside by the road too. Easy access to the playground across the road

As locals we only go to the Pocket after trying all the places as hands down it has the best bar and restaurant in Moffat. The staff are awesome with a great vibe and a good mix of music. The draft beer selection is great and the beers are actually cold (unlike other places in the area). Looking forward to cocktails next time. We especially love the tacos with fresh coleslaw and you can also get a side of hot sauce. The falafel is also very good without the bun. They need a stronger cheese on the burger with dill pickles and mustard but the chips are excellent with a tasty homemade spice for hot chip lovers🥰 Definitely recommended booking ahead on busy days for good reason.

Love the service and environment. Great staff and exceptional service. However, food is just bit below average. Liked the butter chicken with rice, but the bread was heated from frozen i.e. one you get at supermarket frozen section. Not expected frozen bread to be served for a dine-in. Salad plate was too salty came with a quarter cabbage, really? Too much mint mixed with the salad, just makes a plate bit off balance.

This spot is a charming blend of a bar and café, located just steps from the beach. The design is stunning, with a relaxed and calming atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. I tried both the hot and iced coffee, and they were absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly brewed. There are plenty of seats available, both indoors and outdoors, but it’s worth noting that it can get busy depending on the time of day. Restroom facilities are also available, making it a convenient stop during a day out. It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee, soak in the laid-back vibe, and then head to the nearby beach for some fun in the sun. Highly recommended for a coastal escape!

$75 for two, for a very basic breakfast and still hungry afterwards. Avo on toast very underwhelming, more salad than avocado and tiny pieces of toast. Scrambled eggs with bacon were good but not worth $32. Great coffee, won’t come back though.

Had a fantastic experience at The Pocket Espresso Bar! The service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I tried both an iced long black and iced matcha, and they were absolutely delicious – perfectly balanced and refreshing. The vibe of the place is also great, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to unwind near the beach.

What a find. Sundays after 12 “Fun Time Jonny” does a BBQ out the back. I’m seriously impressed with this guys cooking. 3 meats cooked “slow and low” as Jonny said. Nice selection of salads. And great sauces including home made chili sauce. And it’s licensed so if you like a drink with lunch or dinner you’re set.

Love this place (and Little Sister) with great coffee and friendly team. Usually very busy and lots of dogs at the door you need to be considerate and patient . Only complaint is the croissants are never freshly baked each time I have ordered them so they are cold and hard, and having them ‘toasted to warm them up’ means microwaving the crap out them making them soggy and chewy. Twice now so never again! But I will be back for coffee.
