The Point Bar & Grill

Had to chance to drop in to The Point on a trip north and what a cool atmosphere for sporting events!! They have several pool tables, dart boards and flat screens plastered everywhere! Wish I had a spot like this close to my house. We split the Buffalo Chicken wrap, had a beverage and shot a few games of pool. It was exactly the break we needed! Definitely a hidden gem right off the freeway. Only down side 21 and over.

Had lunch here today with my daughter. The burger I had tasted great! My burger was juicy with great flavor and cooked perfectly. The service was super friendly, attentive and on point ;) My daughter had the chicken burger and fries, she is a picky eater and she ate everything on her plate!

A wholesome restaurant and pub. Clean atmosphere with a lot of space for people. They have an excellent variety on the menu and the food is delicious. The bathrooms could use some work but this is an A+ operation.

If you want good American bar food, this is the place! The customer service is phenomenal. Definitely a great place to go to with some friends. Though I wouldn't be opposed to a larger liquor selection. But definitely recommend.

Very good experience. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. I got the chicken burger with sweet potato fries, I added avocado to my burger and it was VERY fresh and juicy. Since it was Wednesday, burgers were buy 1 get one half off! Darts and pool tables available as well! Excited to come back and try something else! :)

Was glad they allow under age to play pool till 9pm. Not to many places do that. They also have good food and friendly staff.

The atmosphere is great, a lot of stuff to do like Pool table, Darts, Music, and Pinball machines. The food was great but the portion of their appetizers was small specially their calamari. The service was just okay. Me and my friends go there at least twice a month on a Sunday. If they’re busy prepare to do the ordering yourself self and they don’t give enough utensils to begin with. But overall will still go there because of the ambiance and food.

After several visits, we have always received good service and consistently good food. I highly recommend the Blue Cheese Steak Salad.

Stopped in here last weekend with a buddy played a few games of pool got an appetizer to eat and had a few cold ones. Great service by the gal behind the bar. Was the middle of the afternoon so not a real premium bar time so we had the pool table and area to ourselves. I think our appetizer snack was nacho chips with diced up steak on them. No complaints on anything I'll give them five stars.

Food is normally good Got a pizza to go tonight and was too Burnt to even taste good. Service was good, hopefully get a refund tomorrow. Too far to drive back now

For the most part the service is horrible. Occasionally, you will luck out & a server will visit your table and ask if you need anything. If you enjoy bussing your own table & having to walk to the bar to order your food or drinks, this is definitely the place for you. I will add that the food is better than average for a bar. The pool tables are in desperate need of attention and unfortunately the owner has no desire to make any changes. Not a huge fan of him either. Go to Danny's Midway!!

Food is terrible. Service and vibe were good. The booths are stained, ripped and generally yuk. Cleanliness was gross- wine glass came WITH lipstick... Not a fan. Did I say the server was exceptional though! She was!

My girlfriend and I met up at the Point since they are halfway between the two of us and because they offer pull tabs. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors one will find several pool tables, dart boards, a generous amount of TVs, pull tabs and a full bar. The Point has the ability to accommodate large parties. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm; however, a menu is not available. The menu's that we were given had several items crossed out. For starters my girlfriend had a fruity-tootie SVEDKA raspberry drink for $6.25 and I had a pint of Trickster IPA for $5.50. For our bites, we shared the Hawaiian Flatbread for $7 (hh) and a full Caesar Salad for $8.99. The flatbread was served lukewarm. The Caesar was on the limp side. Our server was friendly when around. Overall, I didn't like how I couldn't view a happy hour menu; especially after a year of Covid and the regular use of QR codes to download menus. I wouldn't return to the Point specifically for their food; however, I would return to play pool or catch a sports game, resulting in food/drink ordering.

We ordered fish and chips and fish tacos. The fish was ok, but the fries were not extra. Crispy like we ordered and weren't hot. We asked for them to be redone and the waitress acted like we were a total inconvenience to her. We were almost done with our meal. When I finally saw the waitress again and ask where our fries were. She said you asked for extra crispy and it takes a while. The were shoestring potatoes! It had been 15 minutes! The fish tacos were listed as blackened and they was no blackening seasoning on it. they also were just lukewarm and had no salsa or any seasoning.

Great service but this is not a Sports Bar! Music goes on at 6 pm no matter what game is playing - even the Stanley Cup!

If it weren't for the bar staff, my review would be much less. I've only had the fish tacos (meh) and chicken tacos (better) plus a plethora of delicious plus drinks. Patrons were friendly and I always get some lively chatter and banter with the regulars. Since I've really only ever gone on Mondays or Tuesdays I'd go on the more bust days as well.

First and last place we went to. Great service, great food, the locals eat here and the game is always on. I recommend this place for easy good food and will eat here next time I'm back in town. Shout out to the service and the Peanut Butter burger.

Man, this bar would be perfect if the bartenders weren't so terrible. I randomly stop in to see how the vibe is and everytime I come in I'm sobered up within 1 hr from constantly waiting on drinks. It's pretty clear they only serve the daily's in here and it's pretty obvious one of your bartenders is stealing all the tips from the way they react if you try to cash out with someone else then whoever started your tab. Someone call bar rescue cause this place is dying.

DRINKS WITH A SIDE OF RACISM! I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone that is a person of color, they for sure will make you feel like you don't belong. I went there to celebrate a girlfriends birthday, when we walked in the bouncer rushed to the door to check our IDs and provided us with stamps. After ordering our first drinks with the server Melinda, a gentleman came from the back kitchen asking if my I'd was checked. He asked me instead of confirming with the server. I showed him my stamp and offered to show my ID again. He declined. We then headed for our table and ordered appetizers. After about 45 mins our server Melinda came by to check to see if we needed anything else, we ordered more drinks and more appetizers. Not even 60 secs later she came back to the table Advising us that the bartender by the name of Lauren told her to tell our table that there is a 2 drinks per hour limit. I then asked if they had informed the other patrons as well, that's when Melinda became quiet and wouldn't answer other than she was being told to only inform our table. I looked around and asked if it was because of my race. She refused to answer other than state the bartender Lauren and bouncer have issues with black people and there are more accepting bars nearby. I decided to cancel any pending food/drink orders and leave at that point. Melinda did apologize and told me she felt bad but it seemed like a common occurrence at this establishment. I've called multiple times to reach a manager but they aren't available. Please be aware if you're a person of color especially if you're Black.

I went on trivia night yesterday and was pretty unimpressed with the girl hosting trivia. She was pretty rude and made some very flippant remarks including a joke about the Keys bridge and the workers that lost their lives this week.

I wish I knew the bartenders name but she's great! Pineapple upside down is so good! Trash can was yummy, screwdriver too! Peanut butter burger & BLT, delicious. Good vibes with pool tables & darts. Will be back!

Horrible experience with them. Had a reservation for 12 people. We showed for our reservation and initially tried seating us in an adult only area. We made the reservation for 5 pm on a weekday and they did not ask if there are any minors. Then they wanted to seat us on separate tables. We walked out and went somewhere else. It was also very noisy. I would not recommend eating there people

We arrived wanting to play darts and pool and enjoy fried goodness like a beautifully prepared BLT. We received exactly that! The Point is a terrific neighborhood bar with all of the extra good stuff we want! Lighted parking, easily identifiable restrooms, a juke box with favorite stuff... This sports bar has everything. Enjoy.

Although the food is decent, they have four pool tables, and the TV screens are busy with various sports, the service is terrible. One bartender and one server who dont clean dirty tables after people have come and gone. Its worse when there are pool teams playing. The speakers dont work in the back half of the bar, and when you ask the bartender ro turn up the music, they are very reluctant. Personally, I like hearing muisc play when in a bar, especially when Im paying for rhe music. If you're lookjng for a great time shooting pool, great food and excellent bartenders, then head south to Dannys about a mile down the road.

I feel like Razzals was way better! They had this delicious chocolate cake, but now the Point has no dessert menu. They do have scoops of ice cream if you're craving something sweet. When we got there, it seems like everyone had nachos, so we got it, but it was a huge disappointment. It was dry and the cheese was over cooked.

What a great place to watch a game! Lots of TV's and sound. Food is great also! (The Point Delux) The Bartenders Rick and Molly are the best and the rest of the staff is excellent! Pull-Tabs, Jukebox, Pool, and Darts. Also a Banquet room for your party needs.

Bartenders are super friendly, and accommodating. Zach is always so respectful, kind & fast, his memory amazes me! Molly is sweet, super awesome & just the best. The bouncers on the weekend keep the bar safe and are very welcoming. The staff truly makes this bar enjoyable. Favorite bar in town

Claudia is an amazing bartender and we always get the best service and she is great about switching the TVS so you can watch your game. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is the womens bathroom needs some help, soap despser not working, wobbley toilet, and screws coming through the wall

I've had my eye on this place for some time. For no particular reason, I've never made it in. On December 4, I decided it was time. So glad I did. For a sports bar it was very nice and clean. HUGE. Empty (effing covid), lots of seating options. Our server was very sweet and accommodating and playful with our daughter. It was a nice touch. I have missed seeing that kind of service. But the best part was the food. The food was amazing! I had a peanut butter and cheddar burger, it was so good I can't find any witty words for it. My wife had the steak and she sat it was the best in some time. She especially loved the calamari fries. I very much enjoyed the totcho's. Check this place out. Have a fun night out and keep local eateries alive!

We recently had a large gathering here and the owner, staff, food and tons of parking here at this establishment. I highly recommend checking this place out. 5 stars!

Racist is all I can say!!!! The Point was always my go to, this place was fun, the food was good, and the crowd was great. It was my moms 46th birthday so instead of going out to Seattle I decided we go here for drinks. Now I know Arlington has this stigma that it's racist. So of course everyone we invited was skeptical to come, i told them otherwise and gave them my word on how great this place was. I spoke too soon. From the moment we got there we were singled out, bothered, and treated very unfairly. We were not loud, rude, drunk, or incoherent. The Caucasian bartender with the buzz cut had the worst attitude I have ever seen. We had a big group but everyone was kinda spread out everywhere, but for some reason the bartenders wanted to pick on the people who were African American Or Filipino. It got so bad that security came up to us and told us that they arent sure why we are being picked on and that we are the quietest group in the bar. As we decide to leave on of the customers at the bar decides to call the group the N word. Never have I heard this word before come from someones mouth used in harm. We told security, and still nothing was done. Wont go here ever again!

Zero stars. Our waitress needs to be replaced. she was on her phone and not paying attention to customers. We sat for over an hour with no service. We had to walk up to another waitress and ask for our checks. Food and service below par. Will not return.

I was there 30 minutes on Friday August 6-2021. And we had 5 people ready to fight us over a pool table. Unsafe. Don't recommend

Very bad bartender. She didn't know hardly anything about the beers on tap. I was obviously an inconvenience to her. Their tap lines are dirty. Food was soaked in grease. Too many screens right next to each other. Chairs were uncomfortable for watching a game.

Food just ok. Service slow. Place smelled of second hand smoke. We ordered Fish and chips and onion rings. Onions rings just ok. Fries greasy and soggy. Coleslaw bland. Fish just ok nothing special.

I see ratings here on yelp that were from the time this place was Razzals.. including my own rating. Shouldn't you be doing business on your own merits? I just called them on the phone and they aren't even showing tonight's UFC FIGHTS. Razzals always has a good crowd for the fights.. so disappointing.

Decent place, pretty good drinks except the lime I got in my drink was clearly old and dry. The bathrooms are awful. The music sucks really bad and the staff will take off your songs from the jutebox, basically stealing the money you paid to play them. Never coming back to this shit place. Wish I didn't tip the bartender well. Get Fd

Usually head in for a bite to eat after work a couple of nights a week. Claudia is always attentive and does her job well.

Last time I came here a girl was on her hands and knees throwing up everywhere in the bathroom. Paramedics had to come and wheel her away. The bartender was worried she would get in trouble, HELLO?! Stop serving people when they are that wasted. Foods ok, staff is ok too. The bouncer that checks ID thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Would it kill you to smile? Lastly, your landscaping is terrible! Stop being cheap and hire someone to pull the 10foot tall weeds growing in your flower beds. That's part of owning a business, making it look presentable. So... 1. Nicer bouncer 2. Stop over serving and 3. LANDSCAPE When this happens I'll give you 5 stars

The new owners- Jason & Adrian are great! Both are present and there to help make your time enjoyable. Customer Service has greatly improved under the new ownership! Love that the drinks aren't watered down.

Fun place on the weekends. Great place to grab some drinks with friends and play some pool. There are alot of TVs to watch sports on. Lots of space in the bar.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have been here dozens of times. Sometimes with a female friend, sometimes with a male friend, sometimes with a group, but usually with my husband. Almost every single time we are accosted at the door by Adrian and accused of being drunk on arrival, even when we haven't had anything to drink at all. He's rude and doesn't value his customers. One time, The Point was stop 2 on a night out with a female friend. She had one beer at the casino. I had one mixed drink, all over a 2 hr period. He had the nerve to deny her entry! I had to basically beg and he finally let us in (our Uber had left) but said he'd be watching her and she can only have beer! It's not worth the hassle or disrespect to go here. The DJ, Brandon, is awesome but that's about it. Service is slow and once you make it past the inquisition at the door, be prepared to be ignored and wait 45 min to have someone take your order. A few years ago this place was my favorite, now you couldn't pay me to go here.

The food here is ok, London broil was good. We were here to listen to karaoke, but the DJ is a wannabe "somebody". Music is horrible, and not one single person singing karaoke. Don't waste your money here, go to BuZz Inn, right up the road.

Worst bar ever been to. Bouncers were most disrespectful, had one drink and they kicked me out when I was just sitting there minding my own business, don't ever go there waste of every penny.

The food was average. It seemed like deep fried frozen, I can do this at home. We came at happy hour and did not get told about any specials and paid full price for beer. Good place to watch some interesting people. More of a bar than a restaurant.

This place is a good place to play pool but that's about it. The happy hour sucks and doesn't have any craft beer marked down (only crappy domestic draft like Coors and Bud, which is gross to me) the happy hour needs some serious overhaul! I ordered the happy hour burger and fries but was ver disappointed, McDonald's is better and cheaper so don't waste your time and money here. The management and food needs a serious overhaul. To be honest, there is some food that's fairly decent but mostly everything is super low quality and just sucks. Note to management: make your happy hour include your craft beers, not just the cheek crap beers and also improve the quality of your ingredients in the food, it's terribly poor. My dog food is more tasteful and there are lots of other places around that have good food so I won't be back until you overhaul your happy hour and food menus. You need to be competitive and be something special.

Went in last night for a late dinner, around 8:00. Apparently they have live music on Saturday evenings. This was a plus. 1 star there. Been here several times and the service is always hit-or-miss. It wasn't terribly busy, for a Saturday night, but the waitresses took a very long time getting to our table, then taking our order, and finally delivering the food. Food is always good, so I'll give 1 star for that. Very clean establishment (It's newly remodeled), clean restrooms, etc. 1 star there. So, in addition to the fact that the service is hit-or-miss, I feel that I should comment on the hygiene and general appearance of the waitresses. Many of the gals are overweight and wearing clothes that accentuate that. Fishnet stockings, short skirts, tight fitting shirts, etc. I think the owner should establish some guidelines for their dress code. They don't have to dress fuddy-duddy like old ladies, but come-on, cover up some of that - I don't want to see muffin top hanging out of your shirt, or your thunder thighs jiggling under your fishnets.

Horrid dinner experience. Prime rib looked boiled. Replacement steaks too tough to cut. Our server didn't have a clue what to do and didn't show an ounce of concern...or offer to rectify the mess! Another server came to help...went to explain problem to bartender (why?) but never came back. we left....also left no tip. And the burger and fish and chips orders were served not as ordrered also. what a mess!! Razzals...Retrain your servers and hire some people who can actually cook!!

This place is ridiculous. I was the DD tonight. Walked up to the door and had my ID checked (totally normal and fine with me). The bouncer told me "you are walking fucked up, how much have you had to drink before coming here". Granted it was 10:30pm and I have had one beer this evening. I told him I have not drank tonight and he continued to say I looked like I was drinking too much by the way I was walking. I was with 2 other friends who were very intoxicated and he checked their ID's and let them in no problem. Me being the SOBER one was kicked out and not let into the bar. This is SAD considering I was the only one sober and judged by the way I walk. This is not the only time I've heard bad things about this bar and I will NEVER be coming here again. I advise all others to avoid this bull shit place at all costs. Thank you.

*Edited rather than updated... decided it wasn't fair to give these guys only 2 stars when other than prices, my "meh" feeling was more about personal taste than anything (except prices) they're doing wrong. And I haven't even tried their food! We'll give 'em another go - for apps & drinks or a meal next time. With that... my original review: I feel like I should like this place. It's spacious, service is good, reasonably good beer selection, several pool tables in good condition (although one's parked by a post that'll screw with your shots throughout the game). And three soft-tip boards! I don't play the ones they have, but there are a few video games, too, plus TVs running different games. And there's music... just be sure to man the juke box if you don't want to be tortured by whatever that is they were playing last night. (Ok... someone reading this would have liked it. I might have confessed to anything just to have someone turn it OFF. :P ) Bartender was a doll, and let me sample a couple of new (to me) beers. So what's not to like? I don't know... maybe it's TOO big. I can see it being a good place to be during a big game, with a really big crowd, but it felt like we were playing pool in the middle of a restaurant (too much so.... kept feeling like we had to be annoying the dinner patrons just on the other side of the wall from our buddy bar) and that restaurant feels a little like Red Robin. And after hanging at Ace's, I about keeled over when she rang up our beers at 5.50 each - the cost of a respectable lemon drop at Ace's. So I guess this is all about taste. It isn't that there's anything really *wrong* here (ok... except 5.50 for a friggin' beer!)... just not our style.

Always a great place. Great food and the best staff. Only real sports bar around here. A must try.

Why, oh why don't restaurants have a beverage menu anymore?? You sit down and get the instant "What would you like to drink?".... "Uh, uh, uh... I'd like to look at a list rather than have you ramble off a dozen kinds of beer and expect me to choose on the fly." Anyhoo's, that annoying trend (that is glaringly followed at this sports bar) I can mostly shrug off. This location was very clean, well decorated, had plenty of sporty tv's and some really decent looking pool tables. They even have two tables that are family-friendly. Our waitress was very nice, although did forget to even offer me the salad/soup that was listed on the menu to come with my meal (no, I didn't complain since we didn't have a lot of time to linger). Fries were good and cooked just the way I like em. Main eats are obviously pre-made frozen stuff cooked to order. Seriously, how hard is it to make homemade chicken strips?? I will say that that they do a good job at deep frying frozen stuff. :-) Will try again, hoping that there is some fabulous item lurking in the menu.

Horrible service after new management. Very sad to see. They do not have enough staff to take care of the amounts of people on a Saturday. Empty glasses and dirty dishes on almost every table. No one came to ask us if we needed anything at all. Went to the bar to get drinks...waited another 10min for horrible long islands. Sad to say we will be finding another place to hang on saturdays. This place is not worth it anymore. Do not recommend
