I’ll be honest, when I read the reviews of this hotel prior to arrival – I was worried. However, having just checked out, they are not fair. I’m not sure if the hotel is under new management, but we had an excellent stay. The hotel is clean (credit to the housekeeping team), rooms are clean, with international plugs, and the view of the sea is unparalleled. We slept with the door to the balcony open to hear the sound of the sea crashing against the rocks.||The room includes a fridge, which had fresh milk in it - ready for those that want a cup of tea.||I’d definitely stay again.

The best part about this hotel is definitely the view, but also the staff is very humble. Not only would find delicious English breakfast here but also amazing Indian breakfast items which are vegetarian/vegan/Hindu meal as well, at reasonable prices. Probably the reason you would find many Indians here as many of them find it hard to get vegetarian food in the town. Cleanliness and hygiene is top-notch. The housekeeping and room service was amazing. A minute walk to tidal pool. Loved staying here for 5 days

Disappointing Stay - Not Worthy of 4 Stars||I stayed at this hotel on January 8th, and my experience was far from what I expected from a 4-star establishment.||First, the beds were horrendous—far from comfortable and definitely not conducive to a good night’s sleep. ||The bathroom was another disappointment, with shower water draining extremely slowly, causing a puddle to form as it overflow. To make matters worse, the rubber mats they provided were a hazard—I slipped and hurt my foot, which I now need to have checked out.||Breakfast was equally disappointing. The selection was not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel, and while I wanted an omelette, I decided against it when I noticed a fly hovering persistently around the bacon.||For such a prime location, it is so sad that this hotel is in the state it is. To top it off, when we checked out, the receptionist was far from friendly, adding to an already unpleasant experience.||Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise others to look elsewhere

What a absolutely beautiful place to stay while you are on vacation, me and my dad went to stay at the point hotel and spa, and wow. The view from our room was breathtaking we spent more on our balcony than inside the room. The people working there provided a very good service and was really nice. It is a must for you to stay here.

The beachside view was absolutely breathtaking, offering a spectacular experience. The spa added to the relaxation with its amazing services. To top it off, the Indian food was incredibly delicious and flavorful.

Location and views are spectacular , but lacks basic services and facilities. Water is absolutely cloudy and yellow and they kept blaming the local authorities for the sameand kept promising that it would be rectified the next day; however nothing changed for 5 days. The water was not fit even for a shower

I have never been so disappointed and embarassed showing a group of international travellers this hotel! The setting is glorious, and that is the only positive. The website is all a lie!! No welcome drinks, no porters, rooms are in shocking state of disrepair. No kettle, no hairdryer, no tv, no aircon. Beds are old and hard. Ranch slider off its tracks. No balcony chairs. Downstairs room stank.|Staff have no enthusiasm or interest to help with any complaints. Service is zero.|Then we went to dinner! Not a single bottle of white wine available. Food was terrible - chicken was raw (not undercooked ... raw!!). We decided that breakfast was not worth risking.|There is absolutely no way it is 4 stars! South Africa prides itself on hospitality and service - this hotel needs to be reassessed.

The hotel was dirty and run down. The TV in the reception for the rugby was a strange tinge of blue. The pizza served were probably the worst I have ever had. The floors and showers were so gross and run down that I showered in my slip slops. The only saving grace was the very polite and helpful reception staff. Very disappointing at R3000 per night.
