My husband and I had a great experience at this hotel. The view was amazing and the hotel was gorgeous. Very clean lovely rooms and great staff. The infinity pool was a great bonus. Great location to some really good restaurants and only 10 minute walk to mushroom beach. Would highly recommend.

The location and pictures are exactly what to expect when arriving at the property. The place has 4 villas, onsite food and drink and a great infinity pool. I stayed 3 nights and could have easily done another to explore more on the island. I could watch sea turtles and dolphins from the room patio / pool area. During my stay they were doing extended hours of construction however the manager accommodated without even being asked and went above and beyond on our stay. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and serene location just minutes away from mushroom bay. Again the staff and manager were extremely friendly. I would recommend this location for both solo or couple travel.

We had the absolute best stay at Point Resort. Feels very exclusive and the best views on the island! We feel very lucky to have been able to stay here and meet the lovely and caring team. Best accom we’ve ever stayed in and so keen to come back.

If you are looking for a luxurious, private resort that is off the beaten path, this is the one for you! With only 4 villa-rooms (soon to be 8), it's very intimate. Each room has it's own covered porch overlooking the ocean. The experience is wonderful. It's like having your own private home....with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The on-site chef cooks tasty meals. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive.

We just completed a 3 day 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel. There is still quite a bit of construction going on but the staff were extremely accommodating about it and we did not hear any noise in the late evening hours. It is a small location with only 4 “villas” thus far. During our stay, we were the only guests at the time but more arrived as we were checking out. The room bed was very large, consisting of two conjoined single beds fitted into one bed frame. The outdoor shower is stocked with bath products and we received fresh towels daily. However, there were no toiletry kits so do pack your own. Be aware that you will need to traverse quite a few large steps to get around this hotel. It was not a problem for us, indeed mobility seems to be a requirement to get around this island, but it is something to bear in mind. The view is incredible from the room and the hotel pool. The pool faces mostly Northwest and sunset can be easily seen on a clear day. There are also occasional dolphins and turtles that surface in the ocean. The breakfast provided is quite sufficient. Lunch and dinner orders are reasonably priced with a good variety of options. They even made some porridge (off menu) for me as my stomach was upset. There was a mixup with the price of the room but that was cleared up within a few hours and did not hamper our stay at all. The host provided free cocktails for the inconvenience which we were very appreciative of. Location wise, the entire island seems somewhat dependent on taxi services/scooter rentals. Be aware that there are no gojek/grab services to help you out here and that the roads are very underdeveloped. Mushroom beach is a 10 minute walk away but we would advise visitors to wear some hardy shoes in case of rain as we did find ourselves trekking through quite a lot of dirt/puddles. The hotel staff is able to assist you with calling a taxi or renting a scooter and with scheduling snorkeling trips. Their restaurant and spa recommendations are also on point. We had a rather late checkout due to our taxi scheduling being in the late afternoon but the staff allowed us to hangout in the lobby and utilize the pool area for a few hours. Overall, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is what helped to elevate this hotel. They even brought our meals to our rooms when we arrived back from our day trips to save us the trouble of meeting them in the dining area.

A beautiful resort with a panoramic sunset view. The staff is friendly and attentive and make you feel welcome. Everything about The Point makes it easy to relax. We very much enjoyed our time there with our dear friends because we were able to leave all our worries behind.

The views from the pool and rooms are beautiful. We were able to watch the dolphins and sea turtles, which was great! There are only four villas, so we were expecting slightly better service. The dishes after a meal will sit out for hours and if you want a drink or snack, you’ll have to hunt someone down. Also, after the towels got wet, they smelled like cat urine - not a little, but to where they smelled up the entire outside area. Cleanliness is lacking throughout the villas and outdoor areas, and privacy is difficult if your villa is next to the staff area. It’s a decent stay here with beautiful views, but not a 4-star resort.

If you’re looking for intimate, luxury accommodations in a remote and private location, this is the resort for you! Pristine views, private “villa” like accommodations, delicious meals prepared by the onsite chef, and super friendly staff. I highly recommend.
