The Poké Republic - East Cary

Ordering online was easy and convenient. I got the vegetarian option with tofu and chicken, but the “grilled chicken” didn’t look appealing — it seemed undercooked. The ingredients felt low quality; I wasn’t expecting canned pineapple and mango. While the Hawaiian sauce was tasty, it all felt pricey for what you get. Overall, the meal didn’t meet expectations, and I wouldn’t go back.

I’ve had lots of poke in Raleigh and this spot has been one of my favs! Very fresh & yummy. Gives you plenty of protein too! Great spot for a quick lunch.

I love Poke Republic! Excellent and very tasty poke bowls! This location is inside Kashin Japanese restaurant. You can sit inside or take out. Would recommend!!

Fresh ingredients, delicious food and generous portions. Ordered takeout and came packaged with all necessary cutlery, napkins and a few mints. Will definitely be back again soon.

We decided to try out this establishment which is part of a sister Japanese restaurant called Kashin. The atmosphere and service were wonderful. Our server was so kind and attentive to our needs we greatly appreciated her quality of service. We got an appetizer with 2 large separate poke bowls. The food was so good I finished it within 5 minutes. Portions were generous and we had room for their house dessert which complimented our meals so well. We will surely return again as we had such a great dining service and also try out more of their menu items from both Kashin and Poke Republic. A must try!

An amazing addition to Kashin! I was surprised by these delicious poke bowls options! The fish quantity is perfectas always, the presentation, colors and flavors are a master piece , they are fresh and delicious, can’t wait for it to open dine in but they have managed to deliver and take out with our loosing quality, flavor or freshness. The rainbow poke was my favorite and I’ll come back to try more.

I decided to give this place a try since they have cooked protein options. Due to my health issues, I can’t digest raw fish well. The place is located inside Kashin. The bowl was delicious! Everything was prepared with care and seasoned well. Their Dynamite sauce went so well with the chicken I ordered. I would definitely return again! The only thing I wish could be different is that the non-sushi meat would be priced a little lower but otherwise a great find in the East Cary area.

Oh, this place... it is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Triangle area, and now that I've learned they also sell poke bowls, they just topped the scale of goodness! I stopped by today for lunch and ordered a custom bowl with 2 protein options: salmon and tuna, with all of the fixings and toppings I could ask for, plus eel sauce. It was perfect and only $13.95! You can't beat the flavors, the ambiance, and the service. Kashin is a small, very small restaurant in a great location in Cary. A hidden gem I highly recommend to anyone looking for great sushi or poke bowls for lunch or dinner! Yum!

First, this is inside of one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the area so you know it's great! I absolutely loved my poke bowl!! This is the real deal and not like those poke chains. They use the same dish that Kashim is ! I got the Large bowl with squid, tuna and salmon over a salad. I added avocado for $1.00 and had the tamari ponzu sauce. It was soooo good! I loved everything about the bowl! I could eat this everyday- so fresh and healthy. Also, the miso soup was excellent. I adored the two wait staff there. They were very friendly and helpful. It's a cute little place to eat, too!

I just re-visited The Poke Republic and I'm so glad I did. I got takeout and it did not disappoint. I got a regular sized bowl, but there was so much tuna and salmon included. Not only did I receive a lot of fish, but the quality was phenomenal as well. The dynamite sauce is a must - it's delicious. I can't wait to come back!

If you were to ask me what restaurant I visit most often, it would be this one. I get poke for lunch at least 3 times a month. The food is so good and perfect for a quick takeout meal. They almost always have the food ready before I make it over to the restaurant (10-15 min) when I order online. Also, if you like matcha, the matcha edamame rice is a must!

Was able to easily order online and pick up my order. My order was ready on time and plenty of parking in the lot when I arrived around 5:45 on a Wednesday evening. I really enjoyed my food! You are able to pick two different proteins in your bowl with many sides and flavors. My one complaint is that you can only get one sauce in the bowl without an extra charge. The flavors were great and the protein and veggies tasted fresh. The regular size bowl was about $13. It was pretty filling. A great easy takeout meal!

A pretty solid poke spot. The wait for the Poke Bowl took a while for an online order. We did order on a Friday, but the wait was still an hour and when I went in the pick up the food it seemed like they weren't too busy. The portion size was acceptable, but it leaned harder toward the rice side. I know this will almost always be the case but I feel like even after mixing the bowl, it seemed to be too much rice in comparison to the toppings.

I've been looking for a good poke place ever since I've moved here from California and I'm so glad I've found this place. At first it was kind of hard to find because I didn't know it was in Kashin. I always order on DoorDash because I'm always in a rush to eat. One of these days I need to make time to come eat inside. I've ordered from here at least 4-5 times already and it's so good. I crave this bowl all the time. The only thing is I wish there was a lil bit more sauce that is drizzled on but other than that it's perfect to my liking. I especially love the tempura crunchy bits on top and the fish is always so fresh!!!!!! 10/10 would recommend

We stopped by after shopping at the outlets and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and service. For good poke, it's very affordable. The bottles of wine are very affordable too. Great white wine to pair with poke bowls. Will be coming back anytime we are near the outlets.

Really, really good stuff. I actually placed my order online and had it delivered. The staff immediately got to work on my order and the turnaround time was impressive. I decided to go with the build your own bowl and was really amazed at how many options they had for toppings. You get a choice of three proteins so I went with salmon, tuna and shrimp and they did not skimp on any of them! Portion size is good, taste is absolutely excellent. I've been to a few poke spots in the area but this is hands down my new favorite.

Ordered delivery from here through Uber Eats and the food arrived within 45 minutes! I opted to build my own bowl and chose salmon and tuna as for my two scoops of poke. I got all of the toppings offered and matcha edamame rice for the base. The portions were fair but I do wish I had more of the rice because I couldn't really taste the matcha seasoning it had. The poke was good but I've definitely had better and fresher. I was also surprised to see mangos and pineapples offered as toppings since the poke places I'm used to in California don't offer those as toppings. It was interesting to eat poke with those flavor profiles but I don't think I'd order the fruits with poke again. Everything else about the poke bowl was on point! All in all, this is a solid poke place and will definitely order from here again when I'm in town.

I got really sick after eating a poke bowl with crab salad and raw tuna here yesterday afternoon. Within 2 hours of eating my stomach was cramping, my skin was itchy, I had chills, I lost my energy and I had to keep vomiting. The hostess was very nice and the setup of the restaurant has a very cute Japanese style with nice decor, so I feel bad leaving this review. However, I wanted to warn others of how sick I got from the raw tuna and crab salad. It was a miserable 12hours.

I've only been twice, but the food has been fresh, and they prepare it very quickly. The employees are very nice. Whenever I'm in the area I stop there!

My favorite poke bowl spot in Raleigh! I love the customization choices. It only makes sense that this operates out of Kashin- which is one of the best sushi restaurants in Raleigh

This is hands down the BEST poke bowl I have ever tried. I consider myself a poke snob and am extremely picky when it comes to these delectable bowls of yumminess. I used DoorDash and chose the large build your own. The ratio of all the things was completely on point and the flavor and freshness of the ingredients was off the charts. Definitely my go to poke bowl cdestination. Cannot stop thinking about ordering more. So good!

I gained my love for Poke bowls in a land-locked state, so I wasn't aware of what I was missing until I had a bowl from here. Loved every bite of my bowl, and will definitely be back. The ingredients tasted super fresh, and came out according to the pickup time, which is huge for me when ordering takeout. Prices are super affordable for me personally. The same bowl would have cost me $20, easily, at my favorite sushi spot. As a lover of seafood, this might just be my new poke bowl place. :)

If you're a fan of Kashin, you'll love their poke. For now, the Poke Republic resides within its sister restaurant, and you can order through DoorDash delivery/pickup or through Toast on their website for pickup. It's only offered as a to-go option for now, so it's great to grab after work or the gym to take home. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of the dynamite and #9 rolls at Kashin - now we can get those flavors in a bowl. There are several "pre-made" bowl types which all sound amazing, but we love being able to make our own bowls, and they certainly don't hold back on the fillings. Their sushi rice is amazing as always - not too sweet and the perfect consistency - and my boyfriend tried the "matcha edamame rice" which we both agreed was subtle and added well to the other ingredients but wasn't the star of the show. Definitely something worth trying once. Their protein options are fairly standard when it comes to poke around here - tuna, salmon, scallops, shrimp, tofu, chicken....but where they really shine is the sauce. You can get dynamite style (spicy mayo, chili oil, masago), #9 style (sriracha and chili oil - if you love heat this is for you), and more. Definitely not your typical poke offerings - others include wasabi yuzu, Hawaiian, ginger miso, mango mango, and even tamari shoyu for those who need gluten-free offerings. Toppings are like most poke places - seaweed salad, edamame, cucumbers - but also include "takuan" - Japanese pickled radish - and tobiko - flying fish roe which really go "pop" in your mouth. Add some toppings like furikake and tempura crunchy bits and you've got quite a meal. They also have catering options available, which will be great once I get back to work at the office. All in all a great addition to the Kashin family and great quality poke for the price. I usually have been going to Hi-Poke for my fix and might switch over despite paying a few more $$ - I feel like the quality and quantity go a long way in a bowl of poke, and you can taste it in every bite.

You have to try this restaurant. It may be the best poke bowls I've ever had. They're dynamite sauce is fantastic. Don't worry about what it cost it will be worth it.

This is my new favorite place for poke! I've been ordering from them once a week and my food has been perfect every time. Their prices are reasonable, too.

Poke has been my latest addiction, and I've tried four or five different poke places around the triangle. The Poke Republic rates pretty high! I like that they don't charge per topping like some of the other places, and the Hawaii sauce was delicious! There was a generous amount of the crab salad, though a bit less so when it came to the tuna. The portion was pretty generous for the medium bowl, I felt sufficiently full after eating without feeling overwhelmed. My only critiques would be that the rice was a little 'mushy', and some of the toppings (pineapple and ginger, among the ones I got) were in large pieces instead of being chopped a little more finely, so they could be more spread out throughout the bowl more evenly. Best of all - they can be ordered through delivery apps now! I'll definitely be ordering from them again to get my fix.

I never write reviews but this food was so good I had to. My incredibly picky fiancé devoured his entire bowl in 5 minutes. We will be coming here frequently!

Sooo yummy. I just recently started eating Poké and it's delicious!! I have tried a few different poké places around here, but this one is my favorite! I love all the options for roe, crunchy tempura flakes, and all the different sauces! Love that they deliver through DoorDash as well.

New delivery go-to/ takeout quick and healthy spot. We do keto/low carb and it's hard to find places so this was a great surprise. (Also consistently give you enough to make you full for dinner which is hard to find). The poke bowls are great - (we get the make your own, with various combinations of salmon, tuna, crab, shrimp) so fresh tasting, not like standard poke places, and we are VERY picky about sushi and freshness. We can't wait to try the rice bowl at some point for a non keto meal but you can definitely eat healthy and clean here. The dressings are great, we add extras every time to try new ones. One of the appetizers came with a wasabi that looked and tasted real. Definitely recommend. Our new go to

This would be five stars save for the fact my daughter and I both ordered double salmon protein; however, she had literally no toppings and I had some, resulting in her getting nearly twice the salmon as me. Order less toppings? I guess so.....otherwise, great food
