Nestled in the heart of Tamborine Mountain, This Polish Place holiday chateau experience was nothing short of magical. As we arrived, the chateau greeted us with its charming, rustic architecture, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the Gold Coast Hinterland. The air was crisp and fresh, setting the stage for our serene getaway. As we stepped onto our private balcony, we were enveloped by the sounds of nature—the gentle rustle of leaves, the chirping of birds! The water, sourced from a pristine spring nearby, was refreshingly invigorating. As it cascaded over me I cherished every moment to savor its purity; it was incredibly crisp and delicious and it felt like a luxurious treat. (My first time having a shower using spring water ). There is a spa too and a wood fire heater for the chilly days ! With each passing moment, it became our sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation, leaving us with cherished memories ❤️

Clean but overpriced at nearly $400/night. Make yr own breakfast. Eating area but no restaurant. We came especially for the polish foods, show on online-menu. When we arrived, the answer was "sorry, not today/available". For a day trip, fantastic

A great place for a weekend away, beautiful views off the balcony , good location on top of the mountain, do need a car to get around to visit the wineries etc. Cottage comes with everything you need, kitchen, laundry. I loved the recliner couch! the spa is great too. Parking is a little tight for space, but other than that we enjoyed our time.

Loved the place every second of my stay. Me and my partner loved the place and enjoyed our stay there. I love like to thanks owners of the place for keeping it in a tremendous beauty and running it. The 2 lovely couple have been running the place for 42years and after hearing their story i would like to thanks them for preserving the beauty of that place. The cottage it self-contained and loved the space, view and animals that showed during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was so sad, the cafe has shutdown! You go to St Bernards and its so busy all the time, how could this happen? The dining experience here used to be amazing. Maybe generalize the menu and advertise on social media?

Went here with my partner to celebrate my 21st. The staff were very welcoming especially the two sausage dogs that greeted us in the reception. The little breakfast basket provided every morning was so cute and sweet, it has everything we needed for a perfect breakfast and more. We were given everything we needed to use the fireplace which really warmed up the cold nights. Can't wait to come back again.

Staff was accommodating, the salted caramel vodka was to die for, the view was amazing and we got to feed the beautiful and colourful birds. Good place for couples or families alike.

Yelp
Great place! Friendly, polite staff. Amazing outdoor views and comfortable seating. The food is fantastic - be sure to try the Polish coffee, thickest pouring cream ever! Amazing cakes and great drinks selection. The rosellas are awesome - trees around the dining balcony are full of them and they make for great viewing as they fly around while you're eating. Totally recommend this place!!!

Yelp
I must say, great view and good food. If we hadn't got the last table outside I'm not sure if it would have been worth it. Service was ok, nothing mentionable. They actually had said they didn't have any tables outside, but we saw one and asked for it. I had the smoked salmon, it was good - but nothing standout. Pretty standard salmon, onion, caper... It would be nice for a leisurely lunch outside soaking in the view.

Yelp
Definitely worth going to at least once whenever you are in the area or if showing visitors around. The best thing about this place is the view and the atmosphere - there is just something about combination of the vast landscape of rolling hills , the chirping lorikeets and the rustic interior of the interior that will make any first-timer at the polish place go Wow. Come here on a sunny day for a better experience ! Food is not bad - very homey, hearty and meaty (although they have one vegetarian option) and the dessert menu is almost the same size as the menu for the mains. I found that the first bite is always the best - dishes are definitely on the heavy side so be prepared :)

Yelp
Been here a few times for lunch and both times I loved the experience. The quality and choice of beer are great and even though I would prefer more variety of food on the menu we did enjoy what we ordered. Being able to sit outside and take in the spectacular view is a huge draw. Just be aware the lorikeets may want to drop in for a closer inspection of your meal.

Yelp
First of all, I must say that I loved the views. Imagine overlooking a panoramic view of the valley from your balcony. Quite an experience. It felt like I was looking out from an aeroplane window. Just loved it, and could not stop taking pictures. I also loved the spa, which was located in the living room. You can watch TV as you soak yourself in the spa. The floors and the bed were nice and clean. The room layout was pretty good. Cons - We had to make our own breakfast. - The place overall needs a little more maintenance and cleaning. There were leaves at the balcony and at the doorstep. I actually had to give the balcony a sweep upon arrival. - A complimentary spa bubble bath was not supplied. We had to get our own. We eventually got a lovely lavender foam bath from one of the shops in Mt Tambourine. No shower caps/toothbrush supplied. Overall, one of a kind views - which was really what attracted us in the first place. The place really has a lot of potential, if décor was updated, and was maintained better.

Yelp
The view is great and the food is good, but the service very slow for the amount of tables which were seated (5 tables approx) and with about 3 waitstaff that shouldn't be a problem. We ate our canapes before the coffees arrived. The canapes were quick, the coffees took a good half hour as the machine was backed up with orders from about 4 tables who ordered around the same time so I understand. With the limited amount of tables outside it was really annoying to see they'd placed "reserved" signs on most of the free tables outside. There were about 5 tables outside taken up when we arrived at around 10am. The other 3 spare all had "reserved" signs (as did a few of those tables which were already seated). Great view, but unless their's a free table I'd suggest just grabbing a takeaway coffee and standing by the vista, the owner obviously couldn't care if you made a bigger purchase, they're doing all they can to discourage that. A couple with a newborn turned up and we're told "they would not be served if they sat at the reserved table". They promptly left. As a former waitress I had an inkling of what they were up to and after close to 1 1/2 to 2 hours of enjoying our coffee and canapes my suspicions were confirmed. When finally a table left who had been sitting in the sun by the balcony, my friend and I hightailed it over to take a seat and asked the girl clearing if that would be fine. Lo and behold she informed us the table was "reserved", gesturing to the sign. No it certainly wasn't, the "reserved" sign simply hadn't been removed when the old customers had sat down. Rigggghhhht. In her defense it was her boss' idea as she did go in to check when other new customers arrived and queried all the "reserved" signs as well. She tried, but when it comes to most Australian hospitality managers they just don't care what their staff suggest. I know firsthand how excruciating it is working for such people. So we moved back to our tiny table in the shade by the wall, looking glumly at about 3 empty tables all in the sun with "reserved" signs. In all the time we sat there, not one "reserved" table of customers showed up. They are doing this for one of two reasons, or a bit of both: a) simply because they do not want to clean extra tables, it's too much trouble apparently. They'd rather people sit inside as it's closer to the kitchen and coffee machine, it's simply about being lazy and not valuing paying customers. b) they have reservations turning up for lunch at 11am, but would rather not use their brain and think, by this I mean if they were pros who valued customer service they would coordinate bookings and allow the table having a coffee and canapes to sit at the reserved table at 10am, as common sense dictates such customers will be done by 11am. A waitress simply has to let you know when she seats you "We have a reservation coming in at 11am, but you are most welcome to sit until ten to 11/just before they arrive). This makes the customer aware and usually they remember if they have any decency and aren't distracted by their companions, if they forget, a gentle reminder about the 11am booking and asking if they'd like the bill, usually gets them moving with no animosity. Most of the time I've encountered customers to be apologetic when approached with mutual respect and giving ample time. c) They want to keep a particular section of the restaurant closed. But, this one doesn't apply to the situation as the "reservation" signs were placed on every vacant table in the sun (and on those already occupied). I assume an Australian owns the place as this sort of management style is typical of the Australian "she'll be right" attitude, a lack of common sense and never bothering to go the extra mile. People come to enjoy the view with coffee or food, not sit inside when it's cold, while the sun shines outside and the lorikeets are hopping on tables. Poor management, needs an owner who values customers.
