The Pompadour

What a gem!!! Our first time here, didn’t know why we didn’t discover this restaurant until now, we’ve been living here for three years. Food, service, and cocktails were all excellent. We ordered Squash & Brussels, Ricotta gnudi, duck, Venison tenderloin, Shiitake mushroom, scallop with chilled orzo, and stuffed dates as dessert! All proteins were cooked to perfection, all dishes had great balance of flavor & acidity, and textures. I never liked orzo, seared scallops on chilled orzo? Glad we ordered that, it was one of the best dish we have ever had! The duck was cooked to perfection, great grilled flavor and crisp skin! I had no complain on all the dishes except feedback for the shiitake mushroom dish. We think it is a bit too much going on, perhaps lighter sauce? I’d also like the mushrooms cooked a bit more. We will return very soon to try other dishes on the menu.

We had wonderful food and drinks here tonight. Everything was delicious top notch and service was amazing. The bartender David was very attentive and Laney was as well too. I would highly recommend coming here if you haven't been here yet! We had several different plates five to be exact and two drinks each. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I arrived late (aroung 9:40 p.m.) after a movie but it was still very busy. The vibe is strong neighborhood gathering place with groups of friends. We are somewhat older then the average guests and the noise level was substantially higher than we are comfortable with. But, true to its reputation, everything else was great. We sat at the bar and had four small plates between us (mushrooms, mussels, duck, and shrimp pozole). All were well-prepared, fairly creative and nice and warm. But the real star of of the evening was the drinks. This place has always had what are probably the best mixologists in Lake County behind the bar, and last night was no exception. I have lived in NYC and these people could hold their own in the better bars there. The drinks were magic. If you just tell the bartender to make you a drink without much guidance (perhaps other than the primary liquor or flavor you want), you will not be disappointed. They don't advertise themselves as a tapas bar, but I think that is essentially what it is. It has the same vibe as several tapas bars we have visited in northwest Spain, with the exception that people come and stay at Pompador for hours rather than make it a quick stop for a bite. Because the place is small, reservations are usually needed.

Excellent tapas place and a great addition to Fairport Harbor. This is a legit tapas place with small plates to share. Love the flavor palate and the contemporary tale on traditional tapas. A friend and I had the ricotta gnudi, spare rib, duck, octopus, venison, and date plates between us. They were all delicious (I didn't try the dates as for me that have a different texture but she loved it) and well plates. A literal feast for the eyes as well as the mouth. The service here was excellent with kind and attentive waiters. If you have any questions that are happy to answer them and put your mind at ease. A nice cocktail menu too. Highly recommend this place. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time!

I had never heard about the Pompadour prior to eating there. I’ve always loved tapas restaurants and was excited to visit. The cocktails were unique, I had what tasted like a spiced old fashioned. The suggested plates per person was about right (3-4) but definitely depends. They brought out the dishes based on how they saw fit. The shishito peppers were kind of plain and none ended up being spicy. I did not love the cod stew and would probably skip that. It was heavy on the coconut and cilantro, even though I love cilantro. The fish also lacked flavor. The mussels were great as well as the short rib ravioli. The ravioli was worth it alone! Definitely get two of those plates. Also delicious was the pork belly. The ricotta gnudi was a major disappointment. Only serving 4 small gnudi on a plate was not worth it at all. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. The bar stool seats looked uncomfortable but we were fortunate enough to snag a table. It’s so tiny inside so no wonder reservations are hard to come by. It’s a bit of a hike from the west side, so not sure if I’d go back, but worth the experience at least.

Went last night for first time, friend had recommended. He is a big bourbon guy. They do have a decent offering! We had squash and Brussel sprouts, octopus, ravioli, pork belly AND the special Wagyu steak. All were really great, flavors and the texture was really unique with the pairings of vegetables and seasonings. I loved the octopus, my wife thought it was too spicy with the Chilli caviar. We made reservations late so we were at the bar, not my favorite, but the vibe was really good. Staff very friendly and really knowledgeable! The bar tender made some very nice looking drinks for people next to us there for a liquid dinner! Nice to see an old bar reincarnated into a fantastic restaurant! Great free parking will definitely return!

The only word that comes to mind to describe our meal was “WOW”. Food was amazing. My wife and I had 7 plates total and I had not one complaint. The experience was unreal. What a hidden gem. Cocktails were great as well. The server was very knowledgable and fantastic. We ordered everything we wanted to try at once and she brought out what pairings went well together. The food was light but not skimpy. The mussels were great but we forgot to get a picture.

My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and I have to say this is the best restaurant I’ve ever dined at. The hype is absolutely justified. Everything is perfection, from the cocktails to every detail and flavor on each plate. The concept is small shareable plates, so we got 6 different items to try. We ordered it all at once and they brought it out a few at a time so that the flavors progressed throughout the meal. We tried ricotta gnudi, sausage & grapes, shrimp pozole, seared scallops, stuffed dates, and the wagyu steak special. Everything was so unique & flavorful, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. My personal top 3 were the wagyu, ricotta gnudi, and the stuffed dates. Everything was cooked perfectly, had many different layers of flavor, and had a great variety of different options to try, whether it be meat, seafood, sides, or sweets. My mouth is still watering just thinking about that food. The cocktails also are next level amazing. Forget about a simple little 2-3 ingredient drink. This is a true mixology bar with 6-8 ingredient drinks. The attention to detail by the staff is awesome and again, the flavors are so complex and unlike anything I’ve ever had. We tried the pomp mule, girl put in work, slow burn, and stargazer. The drinks are neither sweet nor too strong of alcohol, perfectly balanced to sip throughout the meal. It is a tiny restaurant, I’m talking maybe half a dozen tables and a dozen or so bar stools. We sat at the bar, and although it may seemed cramped at first, I thought the seats were well-spaced and we still had plenty of room to spread out our plates. The staff offers to hang up your coat for you and are ao incredibly accommodating to make sure you’re comfortable. They’re always refilling your water and even will give you fresh plates and silverware in between courses. They explain the best way to taste the food on each dish in order to enjoy the flavors to the fullest. It is definitely pricey, we spent about $200 between the two of us plus an additional tip. But you’re not getting just a meal, you’re getting a whole experience, and that is well worth it to me. I am so happy that a restaurant like this exists not too far away from me and I’m already wanting to go back. The overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews speak for themselves.

I think we came to the restaurant with very high hopes as I love tapas. We ordered the shiitake mushrooms, venison, shrimp and duck. Our favorite dish was the shiitake mushrooms, but the other dishes all fell a little short on execution and flavor. Their cocktails were solid though. The restaurant itself was very dark and loud, so may not be the best place for a romantic dinner with conversation. Overall 3.5/5

Wowza! Small, intimate place with handcrafted cocktails, (Nora is the best) our favorite!!! Worth the drive! The Pompadour is a MUST TRY! Every Dish we had was delicious! My favorite was the spinach, apple and cranberry dish! The Barada cheese dish is also a must have! This restaurant is different from any other restaurant I've ever been to simply because the chef is thinking outside of the box and putting together different gradients than anybody else does. It's delicious for any foodie! They have gluten-free vegetarian dishes.

This unexpected gem is small, but amazing tapas style menu provided flavorful food paired with creative cocktails. I recommend making a reservation &/or calling before you arrive - it is a small space, but definitely worth it!

This place was not at all what I was expecting. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I met my brother and wife for dinner and a time was had. We ate. Then ate. And ate some more and was already talking about when we go back next time. Very small quaint little spot like something you'd find in New York. The hostess/owner and her husband/chef is amazing. The Punk Rock Chicken was so good I almost ordered it twice. The Burrata Cheese was strangely delicious. The Short rib just melts in your mouth. It was hard to decide and I definitely want to try more.

We've wanted to try this place for months and we finally made it! I'm bummed I didn't take any photos, but will do my best to review the small plates. We reviewed the menu before we went - and I will say we almost cancelled because the menu is definitely "different".. but decided to give it a try especially since it got such rave reviews. Upon walking in - it's definitely quaint ... and very loud. I struggled throughout dinner to be able to hear conversations at our table and we were seated at a large table separated by plexiglass from the party next to us. I love the atmosphere (dark, quaint), but it was way too loud for my liking. Overall every dish was amazing in flavor. The Burrata Cheese was very filling - would almost be good as a "dessert" to finish the meal. Tried the ravioli and this was probably our least favorite. The veal cutlet was very good, but wouldn't order again. The Pork Belly and Short ribs were to die for - so tender w the perfect sear and glaze. Drinks were also unique and amazing. Overall we were pleasantly surprised at how flavorful every meal was - even the garnish was worth eating! lol But if we came again, we'd make reservations after 8 when it seemed to die down. It was just too loud and cramped for my liking (but to each their own!:)

A unique gem by the water: My first tapas in Ohio and in the most unthinkable place- Fairport Harbor. Not much here besides residents, beach and small stores. I think that this restaurant brings so much light into a place that doesn't have too much. Not so much light but sorta mood lighting lol Although the restaurant is rather small, it definitely fits in with their unique personality. Unique drinks that were exceptionally made by their mixologist/waiter. Pictured are the Howdy and Betty. Howdy had nice tart bitterness that made me think I was drinking juice (dangerous) and my hubby had the Betty that was just as dangerously good. The tapas was great. My favorite was the shrimp with the Mexican twist. The best 2 bites I bad. It was so well balanced with acid and texture. I highly recommend it. The octopus had the texture heat and smoke that is needed with seafood. If you're thrown off by seafood, don't! Honestly, all the food was great. Personally was not a fan of the sauce that came with the duck but I think that's all dependent on those who like sweet and savory together (I am against it, but it was okay of a combo for this particular pairing) Martin, I think our waiter,was attentive and did a great job serving his side of the bar. The only thing I hope for is that they expand and decrease the prices. Honestly though, worth the price. Try it out y'all!!

I wanted to try this place, but the lack of vegan entrees keeps me away. Hope that changes!

What a great spot just outside of Cleveland! As an out of town traveler I was lucky enough to find this little gem. Food - amazing. Staff - lovely. Would I go back? - YES!

Very lovely owners! Great food! Amazing bartenders and mixed drinks. Great location and atmosphere. I'm probably biased because I had my first job here but they treat their employees so great. I loved it so much.

Been awhile, but great evening for a birthday celebration (Mine!) We've been here separately, but this was our weekly 'let's go out for dinner!" AND it was a great choice! We all started with cocktails but the birthday boy was disappointed that they DO NOT MAKE bloody marys! Sadly but delightfully chose the "Salt of the earth, Vodka" drink and it was so good had to go with two! Started off with Humble Veg and Pepper dishes. These were superb! The small plates were: Grilled Octopus; Short Rib; Sausage and Grapes; and Punk Rock Chicken! Again all were served hit and easily devoured by each dinner guest. Not only were the selects fantastic, so was our server, "Main B"? Didn't catch her name but this is what my receipt said. She was there when needed and never pushy. Offered good suggestions and was what a great server should be modeled after. Note: To make up for no Bloody Mary's we were given a champagne birthday toast on-the-house! Well done!! As I said in my first review from 6 yrs ago, don't let the plain simple outside features fool you! This is fine dining and I highly recommend this establishment to everyone!!

Food and service are amazing. We have been a few times and always loved the food. The server is lovely. The only negative is that the male bartender is pretty unfriendly.

Oh, what a night! We tried The Pompadour and - wow!!! Upon entering, we fell in love with the decor. I'd say it is farmhouse-chic, both elegantly and stylishly fashionable. From the chopped wood on the walls, the art deco era barstools, and the pennies lined up behind the bar like a tile mosaic, this Fairport Harbor gastropub is both bold and sexy. A unique and impressive cocktail list laid before our eyes, which we quickly took advantage of. I ordered the "Don't call it a comeback"; which is Tangarey Sevilla gin, Grand Mariner, spiced cranberry cordial, lime, hibiscus bitters, and sparkling wine. Sweet, refreshing, and delicious. Now let's talk food... the menu is incredible. I literally wanted it all... First we had the dates. Beautiful... We're talking almond-stuffed dates, served with iberico chorizo, goat cheese, and green onion. The dates, combined with the stuffed cocao gave it a sensual chew and almost a creaminess, like biting into a caramel stuffed chocolate. The sweetness contrasted with the savoriness, and hint of crispiness, from the chorizo made this explode with taste on ones palate. And the goat cheese brought in a scrumptious side of flavor. I wanted to take tweezers and eat every last little bit off. It was that delicious. Next, the mussels... beautifully presented, these muscles were served with Mexican chorizo, white beans, and tomato broth infused with thyme and smoked in Spanish paprika. It also came with a side of toasted bread. Again, amazing. The muscles had a wonderful chew, tasted delicious, and the tomato broth was wonderful to dip the bread in and devour. It was so delicious I wanted every last drop the broth. I wish we could've got more bread so I could stop up every last drop, but that was not available; and it's totally fine I get it. I literally thought about asking for a spoon (or a straw) to get up every last drop. And then - the duck! I love duck. But I know it's not easy. I know there's very little room for error. The best I've ever had in the world was in Paris, Toronto, and now Fairport Harbor. This was seared, macerated with wine and strawberries, served with a parsnip purée, and red ribbon sorrel - get it...!!! The duck was magnificently cooked. It was tender, juicy, had just the right amount of fat on it to give it the perfect amount of extra flavor without making it greasy. It worked magically with the parsnip purée, and the beautifully paired wine-macerated strawberries. That pairing of the fruit with the duck is a must have! It's an amazing balance of sweet and savory in one bite. Even the aftertaste was out of this world. I wanted to have a cigar later just to finish off this heavenly satiation. The lamb followed... this is pepper-crusted lamb rib chops with: honey maple drizzle, tart apple, celery, Gorgonzola, and candied pecan. Amazingly flavored, the lamb is tender, again juicy, and I just wanted to suck on the bones because of the flavor. It was yet another dish where I had a scoop of every last bit of the sides with a fork and eat it all, amazingly, masterfully, well done. We could've stopped eating, but this was just too good, we had to get another dish! Last we went with the ravioli. This is short rib and Manchego-stuffed, with short rib broth, grilled peach, whipped ricotta, and fresh basil. Normally, I hate ricotta. I've never liked lasagna my whole life. But this was whipped almost like whip cream. Soft, creamy, kind of fluffy, which made it almost like a sauce. The sweetness of the peach, along with the savoriness of the short rib, just made this, once again, an extraordinary dish. The pairing of sweet and savory, was like having several courses, including dessert. We didn't do dessert. We were so stuffed, that we couldn't do it. Moreover, I just didn't feel that we needed it. The fruit that was paired with all of the dishes helped get us our sweet fix. This is an extraordinary restaurant, with a capital chef, and superb staff. This is a real deal, extraordinary Chef. This is their passion!Be prepared to spend some money, but well worth it. We (hopefully) joked that if we lost our sense of taste and smell from Covid, this would've been an unquestionably worthy last meal. It's great to go anytime. But definitely a great restaurant for an impressive first date, classy anniversary, cordial family get together, or if you're really living high, just a regular dinner. I'm thrilled to hear that they have a changing seasonal menu - but I don't want to miss anything! So now I want to be a regular there. A+. GRAND SLAM. HOME RUN. Oh, what a night!

We love it and everyone else we know loves it, unless your a burger and beer only kinda person.

Have been wanting to check this place out every time I visit family. Wow, so good don't know why it took me so long! Make a reservation for sure, small place. Very cool vibe but not uppity at all. Amazing and friendly service (shout out to Tim). OMG the food was so good. Interesting flavors, nice potion sizes for small plates and I thought the prices were fair. Shared two small plates and then we each got our own "entree". Plenty of food. Nice bar and creative cocktails. Cannot wait to go back next time I'm visiting.

Attention to detail. Drinks take time to make. And they taste great because of it. Veggie friendly options especially when vegetables are in season. When the veggie options are on the menu they are good and not just something like pasta and veggies. Relaxed feel yet classed up rocked out placed. My meat eater husband is beyond pleased with the carnivore/omnivore options.

This place is a bit pricy, but absolutely amazing. We were out for our anniversary.....I did not make reservations so we ended up sitting at the bar, much to my wife's chagrin. (in my defense, didn't think they were necessary) As it turned out those were the best seats in the house, chatting with the bartender as he made absolutely stunning drinks of various sorts to send out to the restaurant. Dinner and a show! The tapas (small plates), were each and every one a gourmet experience in themselves. Bottom line. Go here and eat and drink, you wont regret it.

Still 6+ stars...we just love this place. We probably go there weekly if we actually live in Fairport Harbor! You can't really go wrong with any cocktail there. Four of us shared Catalan Spinach (can't miss!), Smoke Octopus, Mussels (the best ever...just wanted to drink the broth!), Duck, Ravioli, Venison, Pork Belly (so good!!!) and Scallop Special! Can't wait to go back again!!!

Incredible experience!!! We were able to get in last min reservations since it was only two of us, and it was bar seating. The food, the drinks, it was delicious, impressive, and beautifully presented!!! Service is personable, welcoming, and awesome If we are ever in the area I'd love to come back!

Oh my gosh! Where should I start? Should I start with the ambiance, the friendliness, the expertise, the food, the wine, the delightful staff, the owner? My sister and I were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem of a bistro in Lake County - in a sleepy little town called a Fairport Harbour! We made reservations earlier in the day and when we arrived, promptly seated. The waitress was so helpful and explained how they do things. It's not your normal dinner entree toy order and consume. It's a shareable small plate just enough for two! We started with a delicious pinot noir from Oregon, then started with the duck breast, the scallops and finally the ribeye! Delicious incredible food!! The owner stopped by our table to give us a description of the 2nd bottle of wine we ordered and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine, and very friendly. When we had finished eating, we were told that the next reservation canceled. So, we ordered dessert - chocolate tort with raspberries! Delicious!! We sat our table and had the most enjoyable experience! Since we couldn't finish the wine, the owner offered to cork the bottle to go. We decided to stay a little longer and she moved us to a table near the bar where we could finish. Another reservation had been placed for our table so we had to vacate. No problem! No pressure! No worries! Everyone was so professional about it, we were more than happy to relocate. I'm definitely going back and hoping to relive the exceptional service and delight in the delectable food again.

Everything about The Pompadour is good. Easy to get to, great tapas, creative cocktails and food of which you will rave! I remember when it was still new and relatively unknown; those days are long gone. I'm happy that they are still here.

The small dish idea is different and unique. The service was great and the food was delicious.

This place is darling! It is conveniently located in downtown Fair Port Harbor. It has a great front for sod nice inside bar and table seating along with the back patio. The toppers were delicious although the portions were small. We loved the Portabella sliders, and drinks. I think anything you try here would be fantastic. The staff is quick and friendly. They have parking in the front and in the back.

The best food and drinks on the East side. Hands down. Best for date nights and intimate dinners.

This place is amazing! They are mad scientists in contrasting textures and flavors. It is an experience. It will leave you wishing you tried everything on the menu! The cocktails are just like the food. Interesting twists on flavors and handcrafted ingredients. This place is worth a good 30 or 40 minute drive. Highly recommend.

Shared an excellent anniversary dinner here w/ my babe. Outstanding favorites (among many great dishes) were the charred shishito peppers and the short rib ravioli with peaches and ricotta. Fun, creative cocktails, the noteworthy complex textures of each dish, and the comfortably dark interior w/ glowing lights made this meal memorable.!

Been here twice and each time was exceptional. The food is super on point and the cocktails are wonderfully crafted. This chef should at least be being nominated for a James Beard award if not winning them. The bourbon list is phenomenal. I'll be coming here at least once a month. If this place was in a big city you'd be waiting weeks for a table.

We have 9 small plates and let me tell you yummy. This place has great decor and ambiance. Our server Nora was amazing and the ownership walked around making sure everything was grand. I will be here again soon.

I've wanted to try this place for a while now, but it's not exactly close for me to get to. So, mY hubs and I traveled about 35-40 minutes to give it a shot. Easily located in downtown Fairport Harbor, with abundant street parking. When we walked in, it was fairly busy, but enough space for us to belly up to the bar. Not much of a wait to place our cocktail orders. The bartender had RBF, but makes some killer cocktails. I'm a sucker for a great cocktail shake and she had it! (Trivial stuff, I know.) We settles on 2 cocktails and 2 tapas each. The seasonal, "How do you like them pears?" and the "Pompadour 75" cocktails were outstanding. Well balanced, not overly sweet, served in lovely crystal. The duck with red wine reduction and a tiny hint of jalapeño was juicy and flavorful, I only wish the jalapeño had been more obvious in the dish. The chorizo croquettes were outstanding! Second round of cocktails included the Old Cuban and the seasonal Winter Mule were equally as tasty and balanced as the first. I would patronize again, definitely in the summer, after a day at the beach! Things to note: not really sure if it's self-seating or wait for a table. That was unclear and I didn't see any signage. This place is pretty small, so getting there early would be in your best interest. Most people wore smart casual, but I didn't feel out of place wearing jeans and a baseball cap. This place makes great food and drinks that won't break the bank, so go enjoy it like we did!

Some friends of ours suggested that we go into Fairport Harbor and try out this little place called The pompadour. For us we don't normally go to Fairport Harbor for much of anything cuz they really didn't have much of anything to offer us. Which is a shame because it's a really cute little downtown that leads right up to a waterfront Beach but has a seasonality to it that doesn't lend itself to year-round visitation. If you didn't know it was there you would drive right past it but that's the beauty about the place. It's really small has only about five or six tables but some of them are large. And then the bar seats about 15 people. This is a tapas bar so the food is meant to be shared. From what we've learned is that you really need reservations on the weekends and they do book up but during the weekdays it's relatively easy to get in there and it was a very nice experience. We ordered the calamari steak fries which is a bunch of calamari chopped up and molded into what looks like a steak fry which for someone who doesn't eat seafood is deceptively delicious looking yet I didn't want to try it but my wife said they were A1. We also ordered steak crostini and turkey meatballs. We also had the carrot plate. I only real feedback other than presentation was beautiful and the meal would have been a five-star delicious meal save for the salt. It was exceptionally salty. I did have an opportunity to speak with the owner and gave him some feedback directly that I felt that he needed to know that maybe he had a kitchen accident where a little too much salt may have been added. Our drinks were fast and delicious no problem there it's just there was way too much salt. Nothing that would stop us from going back there because we will definitely go back there to try to see if it was just a one-off issue. We learned that the place is been a couple different bars and a hair salon prior to it becoming the pompadour. Neat place, will be back

The food was fantastic...Great service...The atmosphere transports you to NYC in the Village..Very hip yet comfortable for all age groups...The drinks are all homemade with lots of choices...The menu is short and precise and portions are just enough with reasonable pricing...The staff is very attentive and friendly and make you feel welcome...It's truly one of the best places in all of Ohio...The chef is truly very talented...

I love the fact that this place is local and I don't have to go to Cleveland for a fine dining experience! It's such a cozy and laid back little gem in Lake County, both in the restaurant and out on the patio. I've been there a few times and recently visited on a Thursday night with live jazz music. The employees were very prompt and friendly, even with a packed house. (My hubby and I sat at the bar...we weren't in the know about making reservations, but we will next time for sure.) I ordered a seasonal apple vodka based drink, which was a great aperitif. We started out with the warm citrus marinated olives, which are a must if you love olives. We also had the steak crostini and the marinated mushroom tacos. They were so good we ordered a second plate of them! I also had the House Tiki drink. It was unusual but really tasty. I can't wait to go back! I'd give them more stars if I could!

I'm from Atlanta visiting for business and this was a pleasant surprise! I am staying in Mentor but drove out here to see the lake and find this cute place. The food was so amazing and service was spectacular. The place is tiny and they spend time perfecting their craft (food and drink) so don't be impatient- it's worth the wait.

This place is really good. We sat at the bar and watched Kevin mix amazing drinks. I had the WWCD tequila drink that was very tasty, if you like tequila I definitely recommend. Not your run of the mill margarita. Much more creative. We also ordered the crispy bacon & fennel (very good, recommend), braised shirts that my boyfriend ate and didn't save any for me (he recommends) and the calamari steak fries (pretty good but not sure I'd reorder). Cute place, not tons of seating. Bar cool. Atmosphere fun. Service good. They have great cocktails to explore.

Good food and great services. The style of the food is like a cocktail style, just small portion. The server very very friendly. The area and atmosphere is great! Open spaces if good weather i would recommend sit outside.

Best kept secret in NE Ohio. You'll love it. I'd write more but I secretly don't want this place to get so busy that I can't get a table. Also: Make sure you make a reservation. There aren't many tables here.

We visited pompadour on a Saturday evening and sat on the patio. Every employee we encountered was very welcoming. The service overall was excellent. The atmosphere was dark inside and is an old remodeled bar. They did well with the space they had. There's really no natural light. The patio out back is small, but pleasant seating. The menu is tapas style with one cheeseburger and fries dish being the only meal. We had the warm citrus olives, the spinach, the roasted vegetables with goat cheese and the burger and fries. Everything was creative and wonderfully flavorful. The dishes are a nice size with enough bites to share. I do think some of the items are over priced for the ingredients. It would be nice to see more items at the $7-10 price point to be able to try more. The craft cocktails were nicely done.

My husband and I visited here for the first time last night. The food was awesome! The cocktails all looked so interesting that I have to go back to try several. The atmosphere was like a speakeasy. Such a cool vibe! We didn't have reservations and just sat at the bar. I recommend reservations because they are very busy.

What a hidden gem! The dishes are just mind blowing! Flavors that will blow your mind! Cocktails are superb "mixologist" knows what he's doing! Super cute & trendy spot! My new favorite!!!

Cannot believe that we did not know about this amazing little hidden gem. I saw something about it on Facebook the other day and thought, hey, date night with my wife on Saturday. Walked in and immediately loved the vibe. Small, dark, cozy, very hip interior design and really cool music playing. The Chef/owner, Rusty and wife/front of house/manager, Lianne (and also our server) kept bringing one AMAZING DISH after another. Pair that with some incredible craft cocktails (thank you Tim and Martin), and well... we definitely got a night to remember. Cannot say enough about this place. Will certainly tell all of our friends and return in the near future. It is a place that deserves to be supported. Loved it. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!!!!!

The Pompadour is as unique as it's name. Creative food with beautiful presentation, served in a comfortably hip atmosphere. Heard about it through friends, only to understand their excitement. This little town on the Lake is fortunate to have such a find. Our small group shared almost all the small plates and can only say Bravo!!
