The special 10th-anniversary menu draws inspiration from the many memorable quotes, graffiti, and messages etched onto the bar's walls over the past decade. With inclusivity and community at the forefront of The Pontiac’s ethos, the team has long since set the tone for female representation in Hong Kong’s bar scene. Highlighting the “One Day My S.x Tape Will Matter” that curated with Cognac, Rum, Salted Lemon Cordial, and Lime Leaf Curaçao for a complex and sophisticated tropical sour, and aged spirit notes.

This was a fantastic bar! The two ladies that were working Sunday night were lovely and were happy to recommend local drinks. Excellent music choices while we were there. Love the story behind the bras.

What a fun 🤩 place to visit with plenty of character. I have the great opportunity to visit a had the chance to meet the two phenomenal people responsible for helping to shape the Pontiac into what it is. I’m looking forward to being back and helping to consume more of these ice 🧊 cold beers. 🍺 the staff are friendly and waiting to help quench your thirst. Put this on the list to must- visit bars especially if you’re around in October. By the way your bartender’s favourite bartender was there as well.

LOVE THIS BAR! visited while on holiday to Hong Kong and found an absolute gem! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, letting you request songs and pouring strong drinks. The happy hour here is insanely good and staying later into the night you will see how rowdy it can get!

One of the most fun bars I have been to. Stayed in Hong Kong 3 days and went to the bar every night. Amazing bartenders, and very good drinks! Highly recommend.

The Pontiac / Central (Hong Kong) -- This was such a great find for Jamie W and me. We decided to stay in Central on Hong Kong Island because many of the trendier eateries are here. So are the gay bars. Although just a fifteen-minute walk from our hotel, the last block on Old Bailey Street was a bit of a climb. We started hearing Shania Twain, a far cry from the K-POP blaring everywhere else. When we saw the rainbow flag out front and the sea of brassieres hanging from the ceiling, we knew this must be the place. There were just three people at the bar and two behind it, both English speakers. Our particular barkeep was from Curaçao even though she sounded like a Texan. The vibe was casual and quite chill, and we were impressed by the manga menus. The name refers to the Native American tribe, not my dad's 1968 Pontiac Catalina. Wanting time to peruse the menu, we ordered our standby, a couple of HK$98 Espresso Martinis (photo; https://yelp.to/8pnmgyoiM6). Quite smooth with just a hush of sweetness that had us tapping our feet to classic Dolly Parton. We were ready to order their artisan signature cocktails for our second round. Jamie went for the HK$98 Killswitch, a particularly potent mix of tequila, Ribena Jamaica, lime, fenugreek tincture, and soda, it was a margarita with a third leg. I went more refined with the HK$98 London Calling, a clubby blend of Strawberry Pimm's, ruby port, petite verveine, basil, and soda (photo: https://yelp.to/8OhUsNESX4). If you like rock music and live dive bars , and you find yourself in Hong Kong, look no further than The Pontiac !! Bartenders are friendly and the cocktail menu is solid !! Love the open air feeling they give you when the weather permits.

One of the best bars in all of Hong Kong. The moment I walked I knew it was going to be a fantastic time. They have a creative menu and I definitely enjoyed more then a few cocktails. The bartenders are all beautiful women from around the world, and they definitely know how to get the party started. If you're looking for a bar that has a West-coast American vibe this is definitely your place. As mentioned by Eric R., the owner is from Oregon and she is definitely an interesting person to talk with if you have the chance. Awesome place if you're looking for other EXPATS or visitors, although I don't see as many native Hong Kongers here. If you're looking forward for an awesome vibe to connect with other people, you gotta hit up Pontiac.

A cool hip hang out with a San Francisco / California vibe. Ladies at the helm with cocktails - name them anything you like and they'll whip you up something creative. Good music, chilled out - a place one would go for a real good time whilst enjoying great cocktails and where just being yourself matters! Hong Kong's Soho is starved of unpretentious bars such as this. I would come back here again anytime. Go check it out !

I am so lucky I stumbled onto this place while I was studying in Hong Kong. It's kinda divey (which I like), and they have a good selection of beer and a very creative cocktail menu (I recommend that all Breaking Bad fans try The Heisenberg). It really is a contrast, by design, to the rest of the scene in the area, which is so refreshing.The owner is a lovely woman from Portland (you hear it right, Portland, OREGON) whom I had the opportunity to chat with. She is all about bringing a little bit of the American bar experience to Asia and I daresay she pulls it off brilliantly. You'll find a cool expat crowd there as well as some adventurous locals. If I lived in Hong Kong, this would be MY bar. Whether you get sick of the rest of the scene on The Island, or just want a good American neighborhood bar experience, you'll LOVE this place.

The Pontiac is by far the best bar I've been to in Hong Kong... and in fact that I've found in Asia in general. For a city as global as HK there is a lot of posturing that seems to go on which can feel stale and exhaustingly cliché. The Pontiac is refreshingly real, filled with people having a blast, enjoying their life, and CONNECTING with each other. I met more interesting people and had better drinks than I've been able to find during my exploration of HK. I have traveled the globe - from Bangkok to Tel Aviv and yet to find such talent and beauty behind this little hidden gem. It is a MUST SEE for anyone wanting to get a taste of where the cool kids hide out. It is everything you never knew you wanted or needed and I can't wait to go back!

this place was super fun. i loved our barkeep, chilling with all the peeps i met there, the dog peeping out the window above us. the prices weren't bad and the company was awesome. thanks for the memories, pontiac.

I'm giving it 3 stars because the drinks are awesome. True mixology going on here. But holy moly these girls are impressed with themselves. Ok, so most of them are quite pretty. Big deal. I don't need that. They do that fake flirting thing like Hooters. Music is super loud and kinda cheesy. But I had fun. Prices were reasonable-ish, for HK. Just didn't like the Hooters fake affection vibe. That's not why I go to bars like this.
