The Porklet is a standout gem among restaurants, offering a truly exceptional dining experience! The flavor, presentation, and hospitality here are truly great! Every dish from the cheesy dust chicken wings (must try - crazy tasty) and tornado fried rice to the spicy seafood udon is as visually stunning as it is delicious!!!!! What truly sets The Porklet apart, however, is the service! A special shoutout to Manuel, whose attentiveness, patience, goes above and beyond and personal touch make every visit feel special! He remembers guests and their preferences, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere here, making this place become go-to comfort spot not just for the incredible food, but for the heartfelt hospitality that makes each visit memorable!!!!

Google
So my husband and I have this place a try based on a YouTuber 🤣 and it was pretty good! My husband got the tornado fried rice with bacon but we think it would have been way better with spam, however still pretty good. The Pork Katsu was *chefs kiss*. Cheese Cutlet wasn’t bad, it was still yummy but I have had wayyyy better, and that’s just facts lol Now let’s talk about the Korean wings! We got the Korean sweet chili which I personally loved, basically reminded me of the gochujjang on wings. And then the garlic wings???? Holy s*** I will come back just for those because they were so delicious. Service was 10/10! The front counter guy that day was so nice and helpful! Definitely will be coming back to try other wings flavors and other menu items for sure!

Google
The porklet is one of the best pork cutlet fast casual places in the area. Its tornado fried rice is not only aesthetically pleasing but tasty as well. The pork cutlet and mac salad reminds me of one of the most popular Katsu places in Hawaii. The cutlet was juicy and tasty! I hope they stay around for years to come because it is one of the few places that serves up pork cutlets and the tornado fried rice for a tasty lunch or dinner!

Google
Great little place for great food! The pork let dish is so yummy and huge! The pork is crispy and tender. Even the Cole slaw is good.. the wings are some of the best Korean wings I’ve had around here. Definitely recommend!!

Google
Very nice small Korean restaurant. The Pork.Let sandwich is excellent with cabbage and sauce in a good bun. There was enough for me to take half home for later. The menu includes several interesting choices. Service is top notch. It was very friendly and helpful. The space, though small is modern, very clean and has several tables. They do have password protected Wi-Fi, but I don't know if it was available for guests. The parking lot can be fairly full, but there should be some spots available.

Google
This place is criminally underrated and not as popular as it should be. The food is great ( only place I've been able to find that sells something that resembles omurice)!! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good with good music playing. Just a little more empty than expected every time I come.

Google
This place is so yummy! I was extremely happy to see they had honey butter flavor wings because it seems so hard to find here in the Denver area. I got the garlic bomb as well as the macaroni salad too. Everything exceeded my expectations. The wings were so crispy and full of flavor. Place was clean and Manuel, who worked there, was so sweet and helpful with recommendations. I will definitely be back!

Google
This is one of those places you walk in, order and sit down and wait for them to bring your food. We ordered Takoyaki, 2 half & half (Option A (chicken and pork)and C (cheese and pork) and the Tornado Fried Rice with both ham and bacon. I would consider this a Korean and Japanese fusion restaurant. The Takoyaki had a more mayo texture than the original Takoyaki. The meat in both the half and half dishes were fried just right. I also like the light batter. The Tornado Fried Rice is very smoky and a bit salty for me. Overall it was really good.

Yelp
The food is QUALITY! Service is great! Ambiance is lacking but I really don't mind when the food is that good. You can tell the chef in the back is proud of his work. Go check it out for yourself, take the family for dinner, order to your home. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Came here for lunch one day during our trip to Colorado and it was one of our favorite meals! The restaurant was very clean upon entry. The menu was easy to read. We got some fried chicken and udon, also got the porklet, half cheeselet but I didn't get a photo. All the dishes were really tasty. The pork was fried perfectly with a beautiful crisp bite and not too heavy. The chicken was also fried perfectly and the batter was too thick so you really get the chicken as you eat them. Chicken was also very juicy and tender so I was able to give some to my baby to try too. Udon was very light and creamy so you didn't feel too full after eating it. We enjoyed everything we got. The lady who was working in the front was very nice. She came to check in with us occasionally to see if we need anything. We really enjoyed our visit and definitely recommended it to our friends who actually live in Colorado to check this place out when they need a meal idea haha.

Yelp
AWESOME WINGS. I've been here several times and tried different items, but the wings (Soy Garlic, specifically) are what I think is the best! Basically, all their fried food is really good. The Fried rice is pretty, but not a fan of the sweet gravy. The porklets are good, but can be a bit soggy from all the sauce. The fries are crunchy and come out piping hot, but personally not a fan of any of the ones with cheese because it adds more saltiness than cheesiness. Good small place with small amount of seating. Free water is available, and they have a kiosk for self-orders. Overall, I like this place and will keep coming back for the WINGS!

Yelp
Been wanting to come here for a while and today was the day! We ordered tornado fried rice, the pork let plate and shrimp tempura. Everything was delicious! The kiddo ate up the crispy shrimp tempura and our fried rice was flavorful and a good sized portion that paired well with the crispy porklet. Service was fast and friendly and the ambiance was simple and welcoming!

Yelp
We've stopped by Pork Let twice now and have had good experiences both times! The staff there is super friendly and you have the option to order at the counter with them or on the electronic kiosk. We tried the pork and chicken katsus and really enjoyed both! The katsu sauce was a bit richer and heavier than we were used to. The tornado fried rice is gorgeous as well. However, when our takoyaki came out, we noticed a hair on the food. Our server was extremely apologetic and brought us a fresh plate. Not the biggest deal. Overall, Pork Let is a great casual spot in Aurora to check out!

Yelp
A real treasure inside this shopping plaza, right next to a Kung Fu Tea and a hot pot joint, this Pork Let is so good for a satisfying lunch as well as a casual fulfilling dinner. It's a small shop with open dining area but the food is excellent. The staff has also been so terrific and nice all the times I've been. This place is a go to.

Yelp
I can't wait to come back and try the pork cutlets as they all looked really good especially the cheese filled one my friend ordered. I, on the other hand, could not NOT get the Tornado Fried Rice. It's fried rice in an omelette! But not American style omelette. The egg wrap was done so delicately it's all wrinkled up due to how thin it is. Almost like a crepe. The fried rice inside was pretty tasty too. Nothing can go wrong with their sauces. I don't even care if this is Japanese or Korean, just get it, so yummy and worth it! If you have toddlers, watch their back though as the chairs here are just stools without any back. My friend's son leaned backwards and fell. Nothing a few yummy fried dumplings can't fix though.

Yelp
The service was amazing for an order at the counter restaurant. The prices for the food are very reasonable and the food is delicious. We were in for bowls today but will be back for those wings!

Yelp
Service was awesome! Food was delicious! Cute little place too that has a lot of room. Definitely coming back with more friends!

Yelp
Service was quick and waitress was very nice. Food was fresh and hot. Favorite was the porklet and mac salad. Wasn't expecting the pickles but was a nice touch. Restaurant is on smaller side. With walk up order kiosk/desk that offers table drop-off when dining in.

Yelp
Cute spot in Aurora that made a "top places to eat" Yelp list in 2023, so obviously I had to check it out. I came here on my way to work an event. Loved the fast and friendly service. Decent amount of seating inside, and plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. Got the Tornado Rice as recommended by many others. It was sweeter than I thought, but it was a lot of food. Had to take home my leftovers. Fantastic miso soup on the side. Would come here again, probably not out of my way, but it was a positive experience overall!

Yelp
Phenomenal food and service. Best fried rice I've tried in town. The cheese-let dish was a first for me and I enjoyed that as well. Their Porklet was juicy and fried to perfection. Their dressing they put on the cabbage was creamy and tasty too. Don't skip on this place.

Yelp
Oh my God I cannot believe how much I love everything I've tried at The Porklet and I've tried a lot. I've been twice and between the two visits my wife and I shared Half Cheeselet half chicklet, Cream udon with sausage, Tornado fried rice with spam and bacon, Sweet potato rolls, miso soup, Mac salad, Korean sweet chili wings, and Soju. Of them all, I'd say you absolutely have to try the cheeselet, tornado fried rice, and the Mac salad. As for the service, both times I've been the receptionist has been kind and happy to help us figure out what to order. As for the ambiance, it doesn't get more casual than The Porklet. It's just an open room with several 4 person tables. It's self clean up, so remember to clean your table before you leave.

Yelp
We've lived in Denver for about 5 months now and so far this is my favorite restaurant. Between multiple visits, I've tried: - Tornado Fried Rice with Spam and Bacon - Cheeselet and Chicklet combo - Cream Udon - Sweet Potato Rolls - Creamy Dduk Bokki - Korean Sweet Chili Wings - Macaroni Salad You really can't go wrong here, everything is great. My must try dishes are the Tornado Fried Rice, the Cheeselet, the Sweet Potato Rolls, and the Macaroni Salad. The sauce on the fried rice is addicting. I wouldn't normally order fried rice, but this is no ordinary rice. The sweet potato is a Japanese sweet potato and it's fantastic. Katsu is always one of my favorite dishes and putting cheese in it really just sets it over the edge. Get a full size side of macaroni salad, the small one isn't enough. This place is nowhere near where I live, but I'll definitely be back because the food is worth a long drive.

Yelp
Very affordable fast casual Korean food alongside other Asian restaurants. We stopped here on a Friday night and there were tables available so that was a nice surprise. You order at the counter then sit down and they bring the food to you. It's optimal for sharing as we did and they have Korean goodies like chicken wings, kimchi (warning, it's only a few bites in a small cup so if you want to get your probiotic on!) along with some Japanese fare like takoyaki (one of my faves if the night!) We got the tornado rice and it was pretty lackluster but looked really cool so if you're eating here for the tik tok, go for it. The wings were huge and delicious so I would come back for them alone. All in all, a great place for Korean on the cheap or with people who want to venture into Korean food!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
A wonderful bright and cheery place with awesome staff and equally amazing food! This is a very affordable and fast casual Korean joint but also offers some Japanese dishes like takoyaki! (octopus balls!). Pairing that with the wings definitely made it for a good night. I could've done without the tornado rice though. Didn't hit a note with me. I would be back if I were in the area and enjoy another go around but with different dishes so I can try them all!

Yelp
Wow. This place is pretty good. First time in Aurora and I wanted a local spot to try. I was looking at Yelp and the tornado fried rice drew me in. I ordered bacon and spam on mine and I also got a chicklet burrito. It was a lot of food and I had to take the burrito to go. The food was great and so was the service. The restaurant also had a very homey vibe and the folks there were friendly. This is for sure going in my rotation for when I travel up here next time. I gotta try the other things in the menu. The takoyaki looked good and so do the bowls.

Yelp
I saw that store on someone's Instagram and and I knew I had to try it! Was excited to find that it was on DoorDash as well For 3 people, we ordered - 1. Creamy udon 2. Tornado rice with spam 3. Rose rice cakes 4. Pork katsu Overall - everything was delicious! We loved the tornado rice the most. The rose rice cakes were extremely spicy. The katsu was nice and moist and crunchy! The only thing I would not order again is the creamy udon. I love creamy noodles, but, this was just a little too much for me.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Excellent porklet sandwich for lunch! The fry on the pork was delicious and the porklet sauce, pickles, mayo and cabbage was a perfect complement to the pork. I wish I could have eaten it in house and taken a picture it was good! Excited to come back and try more here!
google avatar

Kimber H.

Yelp
Our first time was a huge hit. We were the first and only customers during our time and it was nice. Ordered the spicy rice cake non spicy, pork cutlet, and volcano rice. You can order yourself via the machine or ask their staff to order for you. My partner inhaled everything! It was so yummy. Definitely will be back. The location is right near Kung Fu Tea and Aki Hot Pot.

Yelp
Ok, how could I not rave about this place?! It's easy to find Asian inspired restaurants in Denver. But it's more like a Japanese place that also sells Thai curry, but then also pho. I'm over the crab rangoons and the overpriced spring rolls. Nothing superb and normally just meh. In this case, @the_pork.let didn't let us down and the crunchy panko cream crumbs were so good! Sauce was perfect. It even came with a light cabbage salad and mac salad. Just like Hawaii. You gotta try this place for legit katsu. *crunch crunch*
google avatar

Yelp
Of all the Korean Chicken Wings I've tasted (I'm a huge fan of wings) Porklet has the best crispest and juiciest. Everytime I'm home in CO, I've to come here to get my fix. It's that good. Owners and staff are wonderful and place is always clean. I also love their Chicklet and Porklet plates and my friends love their noodle dishes as well. Have never tried the beautifully garnished Tornado fried rice. Will have to soon. Best wings ever!

Yelp
On a very cold day, my friends and me were next door fulfilling our boba addiction. After a few sips of boba, we realized we had an appetite, as it was during lunchtime, which brought us to this casual hidden gem. One of my friends introduced us to this one-man team establishment with a variety of items on the menu. They are hiring, if you were wondering. We ordered chicken wings, udon, and sweet potato rolls. You have to order the sweet potato rolls. With that being said, never liked sweet potatoes until those rolls. It has been said three times, so order them. Fried dishes are crunchy and moist. Hands down, the all-time best katsu in the state of Colorado; only took me a year to find a katsu restaurant that is favorable. Shout out to the owner for being the hostess, cashier, cook, busboy, janitor who is all the above.

Yelp
Driving around Aurora, it is easy to find good Korean food. With plenty options to choose from, it is also easy to get overwhelmed. That in turn tends to make me indecisive, which in turn makes me more "hangry". On one of these days that we were driving around to suppress my hangriness, we stumbled across this little gem. This place is easy to miss because it is small and sandwiched between to larger restaurants ( Mr. Kim and Aki Hotpot). Where they lack in size, they make up in delicious food. I have yet to try everything on their menu but that's just a reason for me to keep coming back. What I say is that I highly recommend their crispy wings and their tornado fried rice. The wings are so damn juicy on the inside but light and crispy on the outside. It comes with a sweet dipping sauce but I never use it. Chase that crispy goodness with the tornado fried rice and you have yourself a party in your mouth! The tornado fried rice is an explosion of goodness on its own but pairing it with the wings is something your mouth will get addicted to quick. The fried rice is topped with semi runny egg twisted to look like a tornado. Looks raw but trust me, it is cooked to perfection. The mound is surrounded by this gravy type sauce. Gravy is damn good, but pro tip: it is even better when you dip the chicken in it. The workers there only compliment the place. They get the food out pretty quick and I have yet been there to see a dirty dining area. You have a choice of ordering from a kiosk, or order direct from one of the employees there. I have tried both ways and both my orders were perfect. You can tell they take pride in their cooking because I sometimes catch them looking at customer's reaction to ensure that they are happy. They have probably caught me doing the happy dance while I eat several times. This is a small restaurant so there are maybe 10 tables to sit in. But the tables are always occupied when I am there. So I suspect it isn't an easy task for 1, maybe 2 people to maintain them. I know that there are several Korean fried chicken spots ion the Aurora area, but what sets this apart from most of the chicken places is that they are consistent with their product. All the times I have eaten here, I feel like the dishes tasted just as great as every other time I have dined here. You also have a different variety of dishes that you may not get from other KFC spots. You have a burrito, sandwich, and bowls options. And what also stands out is the price. The Porklet is cheaper than the other KFC's, but the quality tastes like it should be more.

Yelp
I loveeeee this place! This place is great for a quick lunch because it's more similar to a fast food restaurant in the sense that you can order your food at the register or at a machine and then it's brought out to you once its ready. When you're done just bring the plates and bowls to the self clean-up area. Very casual dining with food that is on par, if not better, than a sit down restaurant. Friendly staff and quick service. The pork katsu was very light and crispy. Even though it was fried, it didn't feel very heavy. The sauce on top was also very flavorful... a bit on the saltier side for me, but it may be because I am more sensitive to salt. The cabbage slaw was super light and the cabbage was sliced paper thin. I could have had a whole bowl of this. 10/10 The tornado fried rice was really good as well! Came out steaming!! The egg was cook perfectly and the fried rice had a good bite to it. Everything was very well balanced. I would 100% recommend this place and I am excited to come back and try their other dishes. Also everything was very reasonably priced.

Yelp
This place is unassuming, as it's located next to the Pacific Ocean/GW asian grocery store. But it's so delicious and packed with flavor! We ordered the chicken cutlet, which came with a side of sauce, cabbage salad, macaroni salad, some pickles, white steamed rice, and miso soup. The crispiness of the chicken was so satisfying, and despite being fried it was light and fluffy. Make sure to drizzle the katsu sauce all over it for extra deep savory flavor! The sides all really brought out a balanced meal. Each individual side really played it's role and was yummy! The tornado fried rice was good and very flavorful! It's an omelet delicately swirled around a mound of fried rice, encircled by a moat of gravy. The gravy is a little too overpowering for my preference but it was still really tasty. The Korean fried chicken was so crispy and the sauce was amazing! I preferred the honey butter wings more than the traditional Korean fried chicken flavor because I love the sweetness but I am glad we ordered both so we could balance out the sweet and spicy flavors. Great place to eat!
google avatar

Barbara S.

Yelp
So so yummy!! We took a quick look at the menu before heading in, which I recommend doing :) When you walk in, you'll place your order at the counter. We tried a variety of things. Korean wings were a must. Tried Korean Sweet Chili and the Black & White BBQ. Both were delicious but I liked the sweet chili more! I also highly recommend the Cheeselet and the Tornado Fried Rice with both spam and bacon.
google avatar

Alexanria J.

Yelp
Small clean modern, swrf service restaurant. This is the best Korean katsu restaurant in Denver. The sweet potato roll is very delicious! I strongly recommend the cheese and pork katsu combo with cold soba noodle.

Tim G.

Yelp
Really amazing food! Spicy katsu bowl and habanero peach wings were so tasty; highly recommended
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
When you're here, you have to order katsu. We ordered the cheese Mateus because it was the most photographed item on the menu - after the fried rice. We read there were only four pieces of katsu so we ordered our own plate and fried chicken to share. There was a machine where you can place your an order so a place for introverts as well. At first, we thought the price for four katsu was expensive but it's actually a lot of food and you do get full. It comes with a salad, a pasta salad, and rice. The cheese katsu tastes really delicious at first. The cheese was hot and just melts off. However, if you're a slow eater or eating with company so you're talking, the cheese on the katsu does harden and the melt affect is gone. So if you're not eating alone, I would suggest ordering one toe share or one without cheese. The fried chicken was really delicious and does not get enough love. I think it tastes better than the katsu. But the chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The sauce didn't make the chicken soggy.
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my god this place is amazing! They have the best prison and food in Denver hands down! My husband and I went and I took my girlfriend the very next day. Both times the order was the same. Their pork let katsu which comes with an amazing cabbage salad that has a poppy seed dressing. That cabbage salad on top of the pork. Lip was amazing. It also comes with really delicious and tender macaroni salad, miso soup and white rice. Everything was amazing. I didn't try the white rice because who needs white rice when you have all that?! Their tornado fried rice is the best! It comes freshly fried and then covered or dressed if you will with a scrambled egg served to look like a tornado. It's a little moist but cooks pretty well when it's resting. On top of the hot fried rice. You can pick your pieces of scrambled egg proportions with your fried rice. There's a barbecue gravy around it which I did not care for. But a lot of people love it! There's not a lot of seating so beware. But the food is so worth it and there's a kiosk to your right when you walk in. If you don't want to deal with people. Just place your order and have a seat. Definitely coming back here!!

Yelp
The skinny: What a gem of a place. Delicious fast casual korean food with the best cream dduk boki ever. The food: First things first. Do yourself a favor and get the creamy dduk boki. It is hands down the best one I've had. The sauce is amazing and made us want to savor it and use it to dip everything in afterwards just because it was so delicious. We went back and had the regular dduk boki as well which was solid but not quite as good. Another great item was the korean fried chicken - crispy, flavorful and juicy. We ended up having the creamy udon, takoyaki, and tornado fried rice as well. These were all decent as well. The place: Small little order at the counter shop. Casual fast location perfect for a quick bite. Friendly cashiers and fast preparation. They even have some alcohol (beer & soju) Would I come back: Yes! I was surprisingly impressed with this small joint and would def come back.

Yelp
Another fabulous and extremely tasty lunch at The Portlet on Mississippi in Aurora Colorado. This place never fails to knock it out of the ballpark; the food is perfectly cooked and the sauces are out of this world. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Aurora that everyone should experience. They are very generous with their sauces and each one I've tried is amazing. As for the ambience, the place is always very very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. The prices are more than reasonable, but the food is the real treasure.

Yelp
Love this restaurant! Went there yesterday for the first time with my friend and was very impressed. We both got the pork katsu and we got so much food. (It did got $17 though). There's plenty of seating and the decor is so cute! We both ordered at a kiosk and then waited about 15 minutes for our food, which was okay since they had a lot of people there. You can also get Korean style wings here. Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I love the concept. It simple. Make your dishes tasty. Give them cute names. Open your business and see customers come to check out what the hell you're selling? The Porklet The name alone inspires curiosity. When I visited them I met Keon, the owner. This business is a few months old but they're busy! The spot is well-lit and clean. The dishes are named just enough to make me giggle. There's pork, chicken wings, and udon on the menu. Something to go back to try is their udon. What I sampled: 1. The Cheeselet- limited daily availability. Mozzarella cheese wrapped in a pork loin cutlet. It comes with the same side as the chiclet below plus the mac salad. 2. The Chicklet- chicken breast cutlet. Included sides are miso soup, cabbage salad, pickles, and the Porklet sauce. 3. The Tornado Fried rice- spam and bacon. Mix them all in there and chow! 4. Jumbo Wings in cheesy dust ( cheddar) and black and white (bbq.) So, my fave is the Tornado Fried Rice. It's tasty and the name describes the dish well. Cute! Tip: to get the full flavor, a must is to mix it all. For me, it worked very well. Their mac salad was amazing. The cabbage salad with their sesame dressing too! Overall, the dishes are all tasty.

Yelp
I've been eating here for awhile. Never wanted to write a review. I wanted to keep this place to myself :) i must say I have tried wings from all kind of places in CO and this is by far the best. Even when i went back to orange county and some of their korean wings don't even taste as good as here. anyway, today i finally tried their Porklet on the menu. O.M.G. it was so delicious . again probably the best i've ever had. i will definitely continue to come here and support their business. To the owner: Please come to Thornton . I drive 40 mins to come see you every time. ;)

Yelp
The food was amazing, we ordered the honey butter and garlic bomb wings. These werent your ordinary wings, they were huge and incredibly crispy on the outside but juicy. We also ordered the tornado fried rice with bacon, it was deelish and full of flavor. The best part was the excellent customer service, Tex was friendly, pleasant, and she had good recommendations. She kept checking on us and was extremely courteous, they are lucky to have her. Definitely check them out!!

Yelp
Porklet has been one of our most tried and true restaurants since we moved to Aurora last year. My only complaint is that the katsu sauce is a bit weird / overly sweet - but everything else is so yummy and the service is always quick. Plus they have some of the best Korean style fried chicken around!
google avatar

Min-Ru G.

Yelp
Awesome fried chicken and pork. My brother bought this for my parents and me when we first moved to Denver and didn't know which places had delicious food. This is my third time here. So you know they make good food.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Prices seem high until you see the portion sizes! I was able to break my entree into 3 portions! I like the self-serve counter concept and the dining room is small but clean and modern.
google avatar

Lori B.

Yelp
Stopped here to get some chicken - honey butter wings was the flavor I wanted. I was not disappointed. There was enough flavoring on the wings. They were juicy with the right amount of crisp. The person at the counter was friendly and my order was ready as promised.
google avatar

Anita M.

Yelp
Cutlets should always be this yummy and crunchy. The portions are huge. The staff is very friendly.
google avatar

Christa Y.

Yelp
The bad: The Porklet is between my house and the gym, dooming whatever progress I may make this winter. The good: Everything so far! I can't wait to try the entire menu. The chicken wings were amazing- I love spicy, so they could have been hotter but they were still amazing and a reasonable price ($12) for the size of 6 wings (I was actually given 7- bonus!). The porklet ($17) was fantastic. As other reviewers have noted, there are two large cutlets with sides and a really good sauce. Next time I will also order the larger side of mac salad. I ordered through their website, and the gentleman at the counter was nice and offered me a side of sriracha when I asked if there was a house hot sauce. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious every time. Love the honey butter fried chicken the most but the spicy sweet Korean wings are also good. I will be coming back to try all their wing flavors because they've been crispy and delicious every time. Also tried the tornado fried rice for the first time and that was very tasty! It is fried rice (with options for bacon and/or spam) with egg wrapped around it and some kind of gravy surrounding it. My partner and I find ourselves craving this place all the time! Very casual and small interior but it's never been too crowded.

Yelp
If you want a real bang for your buck, I totally recommend this place. Everything made was delicious (and please believe the guy when he says the peach wings are spicy!) honestly I'm excited to come back and try more. The wings were fried to perfection, the tornado rice had so much flavor in every bite. Also the hedgehogs throughout the place was adorable

Yelp
Modern, casual, asian cafes are difficult to find in Denver so The Porklet is an awesome find! Their menu is Japanese-Korean fusion with their signature dishes being the Korean style fried chicken and Japanese style katsu plates. The cafe is small, clean, and modern. There is a kiosk that you order from so it is pretty much self-service. I tried the tornado fried rice, Korean sweet chili fried chicken, and the porklet katsu. - The tornado fried rice was good-- the egg is very well cooked. I was a little surprised that the brown sauce came out cold though and I think it would've been a lot better if it was warm! - The Korean sweet chili fried chicken is awesome! It is crisp and flavorful and the wings are pretty big! - The katsu dish comes with miso soup, rice, a side cabbage salad, macaroni salad, porklet sauce, and pickles. The kastu is good with a nice light batter but, in my opinion, could be better with more seasoning. The katsu comes with the porklet sauce which is alright. Its more of a peanut sauce. The cabbage salad is nice and refreshing. The black sesame dressing on top interestingly works! The mac salad and miso were solid.

Yelp
Ordered pick up here and was not disappointed! I got the cheese pork katsu, cheese chicken wings, and regular pork katsu. All were delicious, especially the cheese katsu. The katsu was the perfect balance of soft, juicy and crispy. Although Aurora is a bit out of the way for me, it's definitely worth the drive!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best places in the Denver area. The porklet is always so crispy and flavorful. The sauces, cabbage, and macaroni salad also complement it so well. I highly suggest to dine-in since there is nothing like eating there fried food hot and fresh in house. They even put the porklet on a wire cooling rack to keep it nice and crispy for you. If you do go please do not sleep on there wings. They are as good if not better than the featured porklet. I have had just about everything on there menu and I would recomend it all. Very rare to find a place this all around good in denver. If this place were anywhere else there would be huge lines outside the door everyday.

Yelp
Best chicken and/or pork katsu in Denver. There are a ton of good Asian spots in Aurora and a lot have their own variation of katsu but this place has the best in the area. Light and flaky breading and doesn't leave you feeling like you drank a cup of oil. The tornado fried rice is great as well. Be advised, this is a grab-and-go type of restaurant. No wait staff. You order at the counter or kiosk and seat yourself or else take it to go. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey, but then again all food in the Denver area is, and I wish they served the katsu with some Japanese (kewpie) Mayo.
