"The Great Ocean Road's Spiritual View Australia’s Great Ocean Road tops the world’s coastal drives with its dramatic coastline from Melbourne to Adelaide. Rough waves and wind relentlessly beat against the harsh cliffs and leave behind battle wounds of bizarre limestone rock formations like The Grotto, London Bridge and the pictured Twelve Apostles. Twelve Apostles is a bit of a misnomer as the stacks continue to erode and in 2005, the closest one crumbled leaving us with eight. No matter the number, their presence is powerful like a fleet of ships protecting the land. Try to get there just before sunset to watch the light sandy structures morph into ominous figures cloaked in shadows."

Lexi was nice & let us know key was under the mat. We had room 1, orange room. It's a small studio, spotless, bathroom was big, with nice linen, no face washer. Doona cover had 50 cent piece size hole in it, at end of bed fold over. 1 knife, among odd pieces in jar. Nice sitting area on veranda looking at garden. Park car in numbered spot near room. Nice for one night but need bigger space for longer stays not a lot of room to move around or for cases. Appreciated late check out, & gave key to man working there, put it in box. Nice restaurants near by.

We had a great experience during our one-night stay. The space was very comfortable and perfect for a short visit. The decor was super cute and thoughtfully put together it gave the place a warm, welcoming feel. We liked little touches like the blue kettle and plates, which made it easy to enjoy a simple meal. Everything was clean, which made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy simple spot right in town.

It’s a nice cosy little place to stay the night. The room was wonderfully designed including a great combination of interior colour which gave off a warming vibe. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. It was a wonderfull experience.

Visited during winter/spring months. Great stop if youre exploring the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a little situation checking in but they gave us a larger room last minute. One thing was that the rooms were freezing at night so it would be nice to provide a heater during colder weather. 😅

I always say never judge a book by its cover. When entering the room we were impressed with the layout of the room. The king bed was the most comfortable and best sleep we’d had in a long time. You had everything you needed and the amenities were complete with the shower being sensational.

This was a very unique little spot. Smallish but so charming with all the pillows & little garden. The 2 doors meant you could just step out through the garden & onto the street where you were only a step away from all the shops & pier.

Such an under rated hotel! I’ve been lucky enough to stay in amazing hotels around the world and was so impressed by this one. Every little detail that was thought of in terms of decor, features and facilities. The bathroom was lovely and the style and interior decorations were spectacular. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
This hotel was the perfect stop over on a Great Ocean Road excursion from Melbourne. It is a small establishment so there isn't someone on staff all the time. The owner/manager reached out and met us as we arrived. Our room was well decorated and nicely furnished. The location is great too - within walking distance to multiple restaurants and a small grocery store. The only downside was the bathroom was not heated and could get chilly before a shower warmed it up. I'd stay here again while in Port Campbell.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to get the last available room - it was a lovely apartment, very clean with everything we needed and more. The manager was very helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to stop on the Great Ocean Road and how to best see the fairy penguins nearby. Very short drive to the 12 apostles and London Bridge/The Arch on the Great Ocean Road. Just a short walk to the supermarket, bottle shop and restaurants in Port Campbell. Happy to have found this gem!
