The Port Square Hotel

For anyone needing to overnight before taking a ferry the following day, this is the place to stay. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are extremely professional but warm and friendly. Two examples: the evening before we travelled to Greece, Denis on reception organized a substitute transfer to pick us up at the airport as our car had been cancelled at the last minute due to a taxi strike. He even phoned us at home to check that everything was in order. The day we left, I received a phone call from Emily advising us that my husband's ID card had been left behind. She then speedily organized a delivery service for us. Hands-on professionalism. |We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and the room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had to leave very early the next morning, so I cannot comment on the breakfast, but Emily's recommendation for lunch around the corner from the hotel was perfect. We were also very impressed by our evening meal at Bacaro, the hotel restaurant; excellent food and service. Finally the location is superb, within walking distance of all the ferry gates. Highly recommended.

What a lovely hotel! I stayed here on a stopover between a ferry and a flight so was perfectly close to the ferry and metro to the airport. I was upgraded and so am basing my review on that. Greeted with a lovely smile upon check in (which I haven’t had many times in Greece). The deluxe room was lovely as were all amenities. The king bed AMAZING! I ordered room service which was prompt and there were multiple tv channels in all different languages. The breakfast was OK, buffet but not heaps to choose from. Coffee not drinkable so got one next door. They held my bags while I ventured out for a few hours in between check out and flight. My only negative would be the noise from other rooms when they entered and exited. I’d stay again.

Highly recommend, went on a family vacation and they are close to the port, train/subway is right across the street. Staff are helpful and went above land beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Surroundings feel somewhat rough, didn't feel unsafe

Modern, stylish hotel in a perfect location — right next to the metro station and just a short walk from the port. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through Piraeus!

Hard to judge from the outside till you get to the inside of Port Square hotel.. rooms are well equipped… n its location superb for those catching the Blue Star ferries to the Cyclades islands. And, if looking for something to do at Piraeus Port, it’s a short 15 mins walk to the marina area ( ask hotel reception) where there are other food choices. Rooms are clean. Its corridor smells good. Beds are comfortable… the female reception staff is very kind n helpful. Located right across from the train station . N as per hotel website the train runs directly between airport n the Piraeus Port. But we did not use the trains.

Love this comfortable hotel, the best location just across the pier, quite room, bed and pillow was super comfortable. Had the best sleep while I stayed in Greece. Shower with nice hot water and water pressure. Provided free bottle of water. Nice friendly staff.

Excellent hotel, lovely staff both from the front office on check-in, the breakfast service and the front desk when we needed to print something out. Rooms great, breakfast good, very easy to get from airport via the subway and back into town if you are exploring. We only stayed one night as we were just waiting for a ferry the following day, but would stay for longer if time allowed

We had an early ferry and this hotel has a perfect location. We took the metro from the airport to Piraues and there was a station very close to the hotel. Breakfast was also very good. Rooms are simple but functional and good.
